She ducked her head, her blue hair covering the right side of her face, “Yes. That’s one of the reasons I chose to keep our date. That note left me with more questions than answers and, truth be told, I already had a shitload of questions. I guess I’ll lead with this question; how exactly do you pronounce your name?”
He looked at her with a small smile, “That’s the question you want to lead with? Ok, well, it’s, uh, pronounced Kee-lan. The ‘h’ is silent.”
Morrigana rolled that around in her head, mouthing it silently as she looked at him.
Kheelan cleared his throat, shifting from foot to foot nervously, “Look, I apologize for giving you more questions than answers. I wanted you to know about your lineage before we met so you’d know how important our meeting was. It was not my intention to add to the questions you already had.”
Morrigana jiggled her keys in her hand as she pushed away from the car, “Well I guess now would be as good a time as any to start asking those questions. Why don’t we get into the car and head to my place? Unless you had something else in mind?”
Kheelan winked, “Oh I have lots of other things in mind, believe me, except business will have to come first. Maybe we can check out those other things afterwards though.”
She blushed and ducked her head again, “You were saying this afternoon that what you had to tell me was too important, and led me to believe, too sensitive to discuss within mixed company. There are only two places that spring to mind for that kind of privacy; one, the park where we can sit in my car and talk, or two, my place. I figured my place would be more comfortable than sitting in my car so...”
He chuckled, “No, no I understand and yes your place would definitely be a more comfortable setting to have this discussion than your car at a park. This is going to take a lot longer than a few minutes; lots of planning and so on. So, your place is definitely the better choice.”
Morrigana nodded, “So let’s get into the car and get going. I don’t want to stand in this parking lot much longer.”
Kheelan walked around to the passenger side of the car as Morrigana unlocked the driver’s side door, “For the record, everything we will be discussing this evening would confuse or scare the humans around us, so I’m glad that you picked up on the fact that it was sensitive material and needed privacy.”
She met his gaze over the roof of the Camaro, “Then it appears that I made the right choice in meeting with you. Look, all I want are some answers and it would seem that you are the only one who can give them to me. Let’s not waste each other’s time with small talk and just get to the business at hand.”
Morrigana pulled the door open and climbed into the car, leaning across the bucket seats to unlock the passenger door.
He slid into the car, watching as she put the key in the ignition and started the engine. The silence was thick and awkward as she pulled out of the parking lot.
Kheelan studied Morrigana’s profile in the fading light of dusk filling the car. Her jaw was clenched and her knuckles were white from how hard she was griping the steering wheel. He could tell that she was deep in thought; probably considering her options and how much of her life the meeting was going to change. Kheelan tried a couple of times to start a conversation with her about her lineage, but Morrigana seemed to be deeply lost in her own thoughts. Maybe she was going over some of the points he had written to her. He couldn’t be sure without asking her, and she seemed content to wait on having any type of conversation until they had reached her house on the outskirts of town.
He settled back into the leather seat, trying to collect his thoughts; This is going to be a bit tougher than I had originally thought. What if she laughs in my face? How will my father take it if the target just decides that this whole thing is a huge joke at her expense and just walks away?
Kheelan thought he saw the rearview mirror shimmering from the corner of his eye as Morrigana clicked on her blinker and moved into the right-hand lane. He looked at the mirror as his father’s face appeared, lasting only for a moment, and saw the disappointment still there.
Kheelan looked out the passenger window with a frown, Damn it! When is he going to start treating me like an adult and trust that I have the situation under control?
He only hoped that Morrigana hadn’t noticed the shimmering or the face. Kheelan already had enough to explain to the girl without adding magic and the Fae into the mix.

Chapter Eight
MORRIGANA WAS HAPPY to wait until they made it to her place to have any type of discussion; however she couldn’t help sneaking glances at Kheelan from the corner of her eye as she drove them there. He seemed to be comfortable in the passenger seat, his legs stretched out as far as he could get them and his head leaning against the head rest while he looked out the window. She didn’t stare for too long, though, as she didn’t want to take the chance of running into something, or someone. On top of the fact she needed to watch her speed since she didn’t want to add to the already piling stack of speeding tickets she had yet to pay on.
It wasn’t until she hit the freeway and the outskirts of town that she floored it, watching for any cops that might see her Egyptian Blue Camaro flying down the road. As much as Morrigana wanted to avoid another speeding ticket, she wanted to know what Kheelan knew much more. Looking at him from the corner her eye again, she thought he’d fallen asleep until he moved his head to stare at her. She swallowed hard and turned her head fast, staring hard out the windshield, her grip on the steering wheel becoming harder as she hoped he hadn’t caught her looking at him.
The sun had finally finished its decent in the sky and the moon that replaced it was full, shining a magical light upon everything as Morrigana continued to drive. There were very few cars so far out of town and even with the full moon shining above, the night past the headlights was black as sin. She turned her full attention to the road and left Kheelan to his thoughts. Morrigana wanted to get her own in order before they reached her place and started their discussion; trying to figure out which questions were the most important and needed to be asked first. She turned her blinker on to indicate that she was moving to the far-right lane so that she could catch the off-ramp she needed and looked in her rearview mirror to make sure the area was clear. She could have sworn she saw a shimmering in the depths of her mirror, except when she looked closer, squinting as she did so, there was nothing.
Morrigana shrugged it off as an over-active imagination, thinking too hard and being in such close proximity to a man who simply oozed sex. She shivered slightly as she glanced at Kheelan once more before taking the off-ramp. Stopping at a red light at the bottom of the ramp, Morrigana suddenly couldn’t wait to get to her house. She had a vivid image of taking Kheelan into her living room, throwing him onto the couch and then straddling him. Morrigana could feel his hard cock pressing against her pussy straining to be free of his pants and deep inside of her. She could feel her panties getting damp and her hands were getting sweaty. Morrigana wanted answers but being so close to Kheelan made her realize how long it had been since she’d taken a man to her house and relieved some sexual tension. She’d just given up taking anyone else home since the last guy didn’t even stay long enough to feel her up.
Looking over at Kheelan, she saw him staring at her. She smiled boldly as she leaned closer to him, feeling the warmth radiating off his body on her cheeks. She moved just a bit closer and licked his lips, savoring his taste. It was the slightest hint of cinnamon and she moaned lightly.
He gave her a sexy smile and licked his own lips, "The light has changed."
“What?” Morrigana asked him stupidly, blinking her eyes.
Kheelan cocked his head to the side, his smile seeming to brighten up the car, “The light. It’s green. Doesn’t that mean the car can move again?”
She drew away, leaning closer to the driver’s side door as she tried to get her brain to engage, “Uh, yes. Yes, it totally means that the car can move again. Thank you for point
ing that out to me.”
Morrigana could feel the heat in her face letting her know that she was blushing. Hearing Kheelan saying that the light had changed was like getting doused with ice cold water. Her body was vibrating with need and Morrigana had to find a way to get her mind back on business. There was always time for pleasure later, she hoped. There was a honk from behind her, letting her know there was someone behind them waiting to get through the light. Morrigana straightened in her seat and pressed on the gas pedal, a little harder than necessary in her embarrassment.
Kheelan returned to looking out the window, hiding his smile. He could feel the sexual tension between them growing and it was all he could do to keep his hands to himself. When she slammed on the brakes, Kheelan’s body was forced forward then back again and he spun around to look at her.
“What the Hells was that?” Kheelan demanded as he watched her pound her hands on the steering wheel in frustration.
Morrigana swiveled her head around to look at him, “I can’t take this anymore.”
Before he could answer her, she had unbuckled herself and climbed across the seats, straddling Kheelan. She looked into his eyes before claiming his mouth, licking his lips until he opened his mouth so she could slip inside. Groaning, he pushed her away, reaching for his own seat belt.
As Kheelan unbuckled a growl escaped his lips, “We shouldn’t be doing this, Morrigana. We have serious business to discuss.”
Morrigana returned to his lap, setting the seat back so that they were lying down, “That may be true, Kheelan, but I can’t think about business right now with the sexual tension between us. Let’s get the pleasure portion out of the way and then we can discuss business.”
Before he could argue anymore, she was kissing him again, reaching between them to unbutton his jeans. The sound of his zipper sliding down was loud inside the enclosed space of the car. Morrigana reached into the opening, pleasantly surprised to find that Kheelan was going commando that day. She stroked his hardening cock, pulling it out so she could feel it grow in her hand. Morrigana slid into the driver’s seat and shimmied out of her own jeans. Kheelan pulled his jeans down to his ankles while he watched Morrigana pull her panties off and toss them into the back seat.
She straddled him once more, gripping his cock and leading it to her opening. She was so wet that he slid in without any difficulty and the two moaned together as he hit home. The two quickly found a rhythm and the windows in the car steamed up with their quickening breath. Morrigana started moving faster as Kheelan thrusted below her, meeting her thrust for thrust. She could feel the orgasm just within reach, except she held back wanting to take her lover over that threshold with her.
“Harder, Kheelan. I’m almost there,” she gasped as her pace continued to get faster.
Kheelan growled in her ear as he pulled her down to him, holding her hips still has he pounded into her. He bit down on her neck, leaving a mark as his balls tightened. Morrigana moved her head so that she could look into his eyes and Kheelan pulled her face towards his, claiming her mouth with a searing heat she never felt before.

Chapter Nine
KHEELAN PULLED HIS pants up; making sure everything was straightened as he looked at the rearview mirror. He hoped that his father had seen enough with his pop up during the drive to keep him at bay long enough for him to explain things to Morrigana; that he hadn’t gotten an eyeful of the two of them in a delicate situation.
Morrigana cleared her throat, “Well, now that is out of the way, shall we continue to my place and start discussing that business you say is so important?”
Kheelan inhaled deeply before answering, “How far is it to your place? I may need the drive to get my mind back into business mode.”
She laughed, “We still have about a twenty-minute drive before we make it to my house. I’m pretty sure that will be plenty of time for your mind to switch gears.”
He watched as she straightened her shirt and then turned the key that had never left the ignition during their playtime. The engine purred as Morrigana started it up and Kheelan looked out the passenger side window trying to get his brain to switch from sex to business. He wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to do it.
Kheelan sighed, Deep breaths, ignore the smell of sex filling the car. Think about the conversation you need to have with your target about her past and her family. Figure out how you’re going to explain to her that she has powers and how you are going to help her tap into them.
He rolled down the window, leaning his head against the headrest and breathing in the fresh air.
Morrigana glanced over at him, “Want me to roll my window down?”
Kheelan rolled his head on the seat so that he was looking at her and smiled, “Not unless you want to. Mine being down is plenty of fresh air for me.”
She smiled, “Okay then. We’re almost there.”
He nodded and turned his attention to the passing trees. Kheelan started musing about his father. What was Hefeydd hoping to gain by popping into the rearview mirror; was he hoping to see his remaining son screwing up his warrior training or acing it? What was he trying to prove by showing how disappointed he was? He was so lost in thought he didn’t realize the car had stopped until Morrigana turned the engine off.
Startled, Kheelan looked out the side window and saw they were parked in her driveway. He waited until Morrigana slid out of the car and was walking up the front walk, just so he could get a good look at her ass as she walked. She looked over her shoulder then placed her key into the lock, turning it and opening the door. Kheelan climbed out of the car and hurried up the walk after her as she stepped inside and turned on the lights. Kheelan stopped on her front stoop, waiting for her to come back.
Morrigana gave him a confused look when she returned, "What are you waiting for? Come in already!"
She turned on her heel and marched to the rear of the house. He stepped over the threshold and had a look around. Kheelan could hear Morrigana moving around in another part of the house and wondered what she was doing.
Morrigana popped her head out of a room while he was standing in the hallway, “I thought you said that we were running out of time? Join me in the living room and let’s have this conversation you were so gung ho on having four hours ago. Seriously, how bad can it be?”
He leaned against the nearest wall and answered, “It is, trust me. However, after what happened in the car I’m still trying to switch my brain out of the sex zone.”
She stepped out into the hallway with him and turned bright red as he gave her a slow once over, starting at her feet and slowly moving his gaze along the length of her body until he was looking into her eyes. His eyes were smoldering with such intensity that she was the first one to look away.
Morrigana looked into the room she had stepped out of, “Well, join me in the living room anyway and I’ll start asking you some questions. Maybe that will help your brain adjust.”
Kheelan lumbered down the hallway and into the room she had indicated, making sure his body brushed along hers as he passed her.
She followed him in and pointed at the furniture, “Why don’t you make yourself comfortable while I go get us something to drink. Are you hungry? I can get you a sandwich or something.”
He gave her a sexy smile, and blinked slowly as he answered the question, “Yes.”
Just that one word held so much heat that he saw her shiver as she pointed again to the furniture, “Have a seat and I’ll be right back.”
She turned abruptly on her heel and headed further into the house.
Kheelan watched her ass until she disappeared around a corner and then sank down into the couch closest to him. He looked around the room, admiring her decorating skills. The furniture went well with the pale blue wallpaper, as it was a darker shade of blue. Kheelan was beginning to think it was Morrigana’s favorite color.

Chapter Ten
MORRIGANA WASN'T SURE how she made into the kitch
en, except once there, she had to lean against the counter and catch her breath. The heat between her and Kheelan was still scorching even after their little detour on their way to her house. She still wanted those answers she had been seeking most of her life however they were becoming second place to the desire that was still flooding through her system. Morrigana really wanted to go a second round with Kheelan but she needed to get down to business. When he had spoken to her at the diner he had insisted that their discussion was time sensitive and she had gotten the feeling that time was running out.
Morrigana moved to the fridge and took out a two liter of Dr. Pepper as well as some sandwich fixings. Placing those items on the island, she rummaged through the pan cabinet next to her stove for her serving tray. Morrigana arranged the sandwich fixings on one side of the tray and the soda on the other. Going to the cabinet over the kitchen sink she pulled down a fifth of Evan Williams and placed it next to the soda. Morrigana picked the tray up and started to head out of the kitchen when she realized that she was missing glasses for their drinks. Returning the tray to the island in the middle of her kitchen, she located a couple of tumblers in the dishwasher and added them to the collection on the tray. Satisfied that she had everything she needed, she slipped a butter knife out of a drawer and headed into the living room carrying her bounty.
Morrigana made her way eagerly into her living room and the mouth-watering hotness she had sitting in there. Stepping through the doorway she stopped short as she saw Kheelan lounging on her couch. He was leisurely flipping through one of the magazines from her coffee table and looked as if he was relaxing by a pool instead of sitting in her living room waiting to discuss what seemed to be a life and death situation with her.
