Missy Goes to West Point Page 2

by P. G. Allison

Mike was now watching the two girls explode in hilarious laughter. As usual, they were on the same page together. He looked at Aaron and noticed his friend was a bit uncomfortable, but was waiting for him to react. “Okay, okay. I’m not all that surprised, Michelle. In spite of how well you might think you guys were keeping this a big secret, it’s actually been very long in coming. Ha, ha. But, I am not going to sit here and listen to any further conversation about my sister’s sex life. Nor am I going to discuss anything about … well … anything.”

“Oh, relax, Mike! Just because we’re letting them share a room together doesn’t mean you and I are going to have any sex, so there’s nothing to discuss. You don’t have to say anything about … well … anything.” Missy was still laughing and was only barely able to talk. “Besides, remember how we have those boundaries that we agreed to, right? On Thanksgiving?” She knew she was playing with fire since she hadn’t ended up actually setting any boundaries at all. She had agreed that night to going with Mike over to his dorm in Medford, which would be practically empty and where they’d be alone in his room. That had been their first time actually being all alone with one another. She had agreed to that after telling him they would have some boundaries. Where? Oh, she would tell him where those boundaries were … once he reached them. Ha, ha.

Missy had never really relaxed all her controls until that night. She had never even allowed anyone to get past first base with her. But, that night? Once things got started and she began to enjoy all the things Mike was doing … his fondling, kissing, sucking her breasts and nipples … his touching her … her first time for such intimacy … she just couldn’t stop. Her enhanced senses allowed her to experience pleasure that was above and beyond anything she’d ever dreamed possible. Her wild, passionate, werecat instincts drove her to higher and higher levels of excitement and anticipation. She became oblivious to any thoughts of stopping or setting any boundaries. Instead, she had demanded that Mike touch her more and more.

She had been grinding her pelvis against him and -- when he’d placed his hand on her abdomen, merely to push her back and adjust their positions -- that had felt so wonderful that it had triggered her to beg and plead -- she’d become that much more insistent. When his hand had slipped inside her jeans and down to touch her throbbing pubic mound, she’d gone crazy. Just his hand cupping her there, moving his fingers over the slick folds inside her wet panties, applying pressure … she’d exploded. She had shattered and splintered, bucking uncontrollably while screaming at the tremendous release this was giving her. Her orgasm had just completely overwhelmed her, with convulsions going on for more than a minute plus those delicious aftershocks that had lasted far beyond that. As her quivering body had finally lay still, limp and spent on top of Mike, her emotions and sexual energies had all drained away and she’d begun making incoherent sounds, cooing and mewling; she’d been so exhausted she’d then fallen asleep.

Mentioning boundaries to Mike now was indeed taking things to a new level with him. Sure, they’d talked about that night. A lot. He’d been so wonderful, willing to lie there while she’d slept. His own raging passion had eventually subsided although he’d finally admitted to something the next day. It had been the worst case of blue balls that he’d ever experienced; the aching had lasted for hours and hours. She’d promised him that would never happen again. At least, it wouldn’t happen if there was a next time. They’d not actually had that conversation yet. About a next time.

Or, had they actually just now had that next time conversation? Missy knew what her body was saying. It was definitely saying yes, yes, YES in answer to that question. A delicious thrill went zinging through her, making each nerve ending wake up. Wow! Was she getting aroused or what? She was suddenly very wet and her nipples were starting to ache. All her senses were so alive! She knew her mysterious bond with Mike was causing him to also get equally aroused and excited. Breathing in, drawing air through her nose and also scenting with her tongue and the roof of her mouth, she could clearly sense the high state of sexual arousal all four of them had now reached. And, such a turn on that was!

“Have we signed the check yet?” Mike’s voice was almost a squeak, but a very low, husky, sexy sounding squeak that only amped things up for Missy that much greater.

Aaron and Michelle actually got up and left them. Michelle gave Missy a conspiratorial wink, waved good bye to her brother and off they went. Missy knew Michelle would move all her things for her while Aaron was collecting his gear from Mike’s room. Her pulse began to pound that much harder. She watched as someone approached their table.

But, instead of presenting Mike with the check, the man actually addressed her instead. “Miss? Are you Missy McCrea? You asked them to let you know. Down at the desk? They said you wanted to know about that group that went out hiking? Umm … they just received word. At the desk. Apparently there’s a problem. One member in that party had a minor injury … a sprained ankle … so it now looks like they’re not able to get back down … and, ahh … the reason that’s a problem? Communication with them has just now been lost and there’s no GPS location for them. You see, the thing is … in that last communication … they also reported getting hit by a big storm up there. The guy at the desk said you were very positive about there being a storm coming in and I guess you were right.”

  Chapter Two

  Jan 2018

James Murray was worried. This hike had started out as a glorious experience for the four of them and now, as the blizzard raged around them and the darkness and cold of a night on Mount Washington set in, they were in trouble. They’d started that morning with a clear forecast. They’d reached the peak just after noon, as planned. After enjoying a fabulous lunch and resting up there for an hour, looking out at the spectacular views, they’d started back down. Thirty minutes later, Bob Rollinsworth had slipped and badly sprained his ankle.

James was an EMT and they had prepared for this trip with plenty of provisions. First aid kit, flashlights, satellite phone, extra batteries, food and water, and a tent. Just in case. But, Bob’s sprain definitely had slowed them down and had ruined their plan to be better than half way down before it got dark. Instead, they’d still been at an elevation over 5,000 feet at dusk, which is when the snow had started. And, the wind. They’d called down for a weather forecast update and had learned this huge storm had come roaring down from Canada, surprising everyone. While not that big a deal down below, up here it had soon become a raging blizzard and any further attempts at descent had not been feasible. They’d had to prepare for a night on the mountain and those provisions were being put to good use.

Bob’s wife Joanne and their friend Luther Jenkins were experienced hikers and campers but none of them had done this before in a blizzard. It had taken a while to get the tent set up, but they’d managed that okay. The real problem was their satellite phone. In spite of their batteries being good, the damn phone itself had suddenly died. Modern technology. Great. They’d not really had a chance to call in their approximate location and, once the phone had died, they were now isolated. And, that situation would continue for however long the storm raged, and depending on how much snow might accumulate, perhaps for much longer even afterwards. So, he was worried.

They were inside the tent and they had brought along enough warm clothing. But, it was cold and getting a lot colder. They ate their dinner meal and tried to remain optimistic. There really wasn’t anything else they could do.

  -----

Missy knew the hiking party was in trouble. She actually had recognized one of the group, an EMT named Murray whom she’d met last summer. She’d been driving home from Revere Beach, her first week as a lifeguard, and had stopped to help at a fire in Lynn. She’d saved a nine year old boy, jumping out a second floor window with the boy in her arms, but had broken her leg. Murray had been one of the EMT’s on the scene and, after treating the cuts she’d received from broken glass, he had loaded her into the ambulance that took her to th
e hospital where they’d treated her leg.

She’d hoped they’d be back down before the storm came in, but now she knew the group was still somewhere high up there. Whether it was fate or bad karma, they’d been slowed down by someone’s sprained ankle and now they were stuck on the mountain. Supposedly, they had adequate provisions and should survive the night. But, with communication being lost and no GPS signal, no one knew their precise location. That meant, since they’d only provided a general description of their planned route up and back, that depending on how much snow came in, they might be trapped up there and very hard to locate. Without help, they might easily become yet another statistic, adding to the death toll for Mount Washington.

“Mike, those people need help and I’m hoping you’ll be okay about some stuff. Stuff I wasn’t planning to explain just yet, but this is forcing the issue. I have to go help those people.” Missy looked at Mike to see his reaction. He’d gone with her to the front desk where they’d learned all the details about this hiking party being still somewhere up on the mountain.

“But, Missy, you heard what they said. Those people are probably okay up there. They brought along supplies and everything, right?” Mike really wasn’t seeing why she was so concerned. “And, what do you mean you have to go help them? You can’t do anything. Let the search and rescue folks do their job. I’m sure they’ll be out there tomorrow, with helicopters and everything. Right?”

Missy said, “You don’t understand how lost those people can be up there. With two or three feet of snow, the drifts can be ten to twenty feet. And, the helicopter search might never find them. I know. I’ve been up there. That’s part of the stuff I have to tell you about.”

Now Mike was confused. He knew she’d been in the mountains for those two years, but surely she hadn’t been living up there during snow storms. Had she? “What are you saying, Missy? What sort of help are you talking about?”

“I’m going to bring them a satellite phone with GPS. That way, they can be located by those search and rescue folks.”

“But, that’s crazy! How …?” Mike left the question hanging and studied her.

“I can do that, Mike. I can find them and bring them a phone. And, I’ll be leaving very soon, so they’ll have that phone by morning. Let’s go up to our room so I can explain some things. I’ve wanted to tell you my secrets for awhile now. Ever since Thanksgiving. Ever since … you know …” Missy grabbed his hand and led him over to the elevator.

Mike walked with her to the elevator and pushed the up button. She was going to share her secrets? This whole relationship with Missy was suddenly going to new levels and at a very fast pace. He’d been okay with taking it slow, since he’d thought that’s what she wanted. But, he could sense she now really wanted to talk to him about some important things. Important things about herself and not just about this crazy idea to go bring those people a phone. While that was wonderful, finally having her share some of her mysterious secrets, he was pretty sure their spending a nice evening together and maybe even having sex was somehow not going to happen. Oh, well!

They went into Mike’s room, which was now their room, since Aaron and Michelle had swapped things around. Missy went over to her suitcase and opened it up on top of one of the beds. Pulling out a small backpack she turned around and held it up to show Mike. “See this? I’ll be bringing the satellite phone up there in this.” She then rummaged in her suitcase further and pulled out a satellite phone. “I brought this along. Just in case.”

Mike went over to the backpack and noticed it looked a little bit strange, the way the straps were set up on it. “I don’t get any of this, Missy. You know that, of course. What are you trying to tell me?”

She sighed and studied him for a minute. “You know how I feel about you, Mike. But, you also know I’m going to West Point, hopefully, and after that I’ll be serving at least five years in the Army. So, I can’t really ask you for any commitments right now. But, I am asking that you agree to keep my secrets. Or, really, my one secret, which is a pretty big one. No matter what happens with our relationship, you have to promise me you’ll keep my secret. Even if, once you know about me, you never want to see me again.” She stared into his eyes and let her own eyes reveal to him how much emotion she was feeling. She knew her eyes were probably glowing with yellow in them.

Mike saw the way her eyes were suddenly flashing yellow and green in a way he’d never seen them do before. He knew this wasn’t her being sexually aroused. This was her being vulnerable and open about something that really, really mattered. “Missy, I can promise you that I’ll never tell anyone your secret. Never. Not ever. No matter what. Okay? And, if and when you’re ever ready for any other commitments from me …” He raised his eyebrows as he left the rest of that question for her to guess at. He could feel her energy now, throbbing and pulsing right there in the room.

“Okay, I trust you.” Suddenly she smiled. “You actually have seen me, you know. I have a dual nature, Mike. I have two forms. I have photos of me in my other form, back in my room at home. You told me you thought I looked really beautiful. Last Thanksgiving.” She watched the way he tried to solve this puzzle, unsuccessfully. “Mike, I’m a werecat. That mountain lion in those photos? That’s me. In my other form. That’s my secret.”

She watched the way he tried to process this information. She figured it might help if she continued with a bit more. “When I disappeared for those two years? It was because I Changed to my other form and didn’t know how to Change back. I was afraid I might hurt people so I went up into the mountains. I think it’s some sort of genetic anomaly, but no one else in my family is like me. As for someday … if I ever should have any kids of my own … I just don’t know, Mike. I’m still figuring this out as I go along.”

“You can Change? Into a mountain lion?” Mike didn’t know whether to believe this but he knew he definitely did not want to say anything that might show Missy he had any doubts. He’d listened to her babbling but was too shocked to really get what she was saying. Why was she bringing up kids of her own? He definitely wasn’t ready for the conversation to go in that direction. “Um … okay. I guess. I can live with that. You’re still you, right? Or, when you’re in this other form … are you not really you anymore?”

Missy laughed with a huge sense of relief at this question. “Yeah, I’m still me. Mostly. But, I do live as a cat, not as a human. I experience things as a cat. I allow my cat instincts to guide me, so I attack and kill my prey just like a cat. I’m not out there thinking about Bambi or anything. I mean, deer are my favorite food source.”

“But, what about … I mean … you won’t attack humans, right?”

“Well, not really. Not unless my human mind says there’s a reason to. My mind, in either form, is the same but it has many places it can go to, if that makes sense. It’s why I can ignore pain. I feel it, but I can ignore it. I’ve learned to control myself. Mostly.” Suddenly she blushed, as she recalled that one time when he’d seen her completely lose all control.

Instead of picking up on that, however, Mike asked about her earlier comment. “When you say unless there’s a reason to … about attacking humans? Are you saying you actually have had reasons? To attack humans?”

This conversation was now going places where Missy did not want it to go. “I never attacked anyone during those two years that I was gone, Mike. Not even when that hunter shot me in the leg.” While this was all true, she was purposely omitting what she’d done after she’d come home. “I avoided humans and anything that might draw attention to myself. And, I still avoid having anyone find out about me. I’ve only told my family, my friend Alice, and now you.”

“Alice knows? Okay. Never mind.” He could keep asking her questions all night but he knew that wasn’t going to happen. “I guess you really want to talk about this plan you have, right? For getting that phone to those people up there? You think you can do that … in your other form?” Mike was trying to process a lot of thi
ngs and realized he didn’t want to push her. She would share all her secrets when she was ready. In her own way. But, he wasn’t sure he really understood her intent right now. “Can you really do that, Missy?”

“Yes, I can and I will. I’ll put some clothes into that backpack, along with the phone, and I’ll wear it while I’m a cat. I can find them. It won’t be easy but I can move well enough, even in this blizzard that’s blowing up there. And, I’ll be able to scent where they are. My senses are actually pretty amazing. I’m similar to a mountain lion when in my cat form but I’m not really just a cat. Sort of like I’m similar to a girl in my human form but I’m not really just human, you know? I’m enhanced. That’s why I can do the things I do, eat the way I do, heal the way I do.”

Mike was beginning to see how a lot of things, a lot of strange unexplainable things about Missy, might now actually have an explanation. “All that martial arts sparring? You really do heal up the way you told us? By bedtime?”

“Well, the bruises, yeah. When I fracture a rib, it might take a day or two longer. Unless I Shift. Then, I heal really fast. My body does this crazy thing with energy being used? I think that energy heals me. Amongst other things. I’m still figuring all this out as I go along, Mike.”

Mike knew the best way he could assure her about the way he felt about her was to be supportive. If she believed all this, then he’d show her that he believed it too. “How can I help, Missy. What’s your plan, here?

“Well, I’m going to fix up my backpack and we’re going to drive over to the base of the mountain, then see how far up we can go. When we need to stop, I’m going to get out and take off all my clothes, strap that backpack on, and Change. If you’ll pick up the clothes I leave behind and then come back down here to wait for me, that will be great.”
