Missy Goes to West Point Page 25

by P. G. Allison

After three minutes, Missy suddenly stood up. “I think that’ll do it, Sharon. See if you can stand and then try to put some weight on it.”

Sharon wasn’t sure she really could believe this. Her ankle was still very sore but something had definitely happened. And, a lot of the swelling was gone. When Missy reached out her hand, she grabbed it and let Missy pull her up. Then, she gingerly transferred some of her weight to her injured leg, testing her ankle. She stared at Missy, who nodded her head. She put more weight on the ankle, expecting to suddenly feel sharp pain but instead, the ankle held and still only felt sore. She let go of Missy’s hand and took a step forward. Then, she took another step and another step. “What did you do, Missy? This is unbelievable -- I know I really sprained it bad … but, did you really do something?”

Missy smiled and said, “Yeah, I did. We can’t have you hobbling around on crutches for the next six weeks. Not when I can fix you. You’re my roommate and I figure I can trust you to keep quiet about this, right?”

“But, this is incredible! I … I can walk on this. It only hurts a little bit. Is this temporary or did you heal me for real?” Sharon was now walking around, pausing to wiggle her foot back and forth and then walk on it some more.

“It’s healed, Sharon. You’ll be able to run again tomorrow, if you don’t mind it still being a little sore. I’m guessing you’re okay with that, right?” Missy came over and looked into Sharon’s eyes. Missy’s eyes were back to deep green with only a few yellow specs showing. “Let’s get back to the barracks. We don’t want to be late for formation, now that you’re not hurting enough to give us any excuse.”

Sharon was deeply moved. “Missy, you really did this for me? I don’t really understand it but thank you. Thank you, thank you! This would have been a disaster for me.” She started walking back with Missy but was still thinking about what Missy had done, healing her like this. Another thought occurred to her. “You really are helping Kelsey, aren’t you? For real? She’s going to run faster?”

Missy smiled. “Yeah. And, you’re going to see her lose at least ten pounds over the next few weeks too. And, she’ll pass her APFT. Her level of fitness will keep improving and her body will firm up nicely. But, you’re going to keep all my secrets, right? You promised.”

“Oh, yes! I won’t tell anyone -- they would never believe me anyways. I’m still not sure I believe this.” Sharon continued walking and then she had another thought. “Hey, can you give me bigger boobs? Not that my boyfriend is complaining or anything, but still …?

Missy broke out laughing and said, “Gee, Sharon, I’ve never tried that before. But, I doubt it. And, if you and your boyfriend are enjoying them the way they are, then I’d say that old saying definitely applies. If they ain’t broke, don’t fix ‘em!”

  -----

Two weeks had gone by since Acceptance Day and Missy finally had a chance to stop in and check on her old roommates. They’d agreed by email to get together at Kelly’s room that night, since Kelly’s roommates would be out for a little while. They all had a lot they wanted to share and it was great being together again. When Missy arrived, Tracy already was there chatting with Kelly.

Kelly jumped up, hugged Missy and said, “Hey, Tracy’s been telling me all about your super hunky brother. How come you never told me about him?”

Missy laughed and was about to reply when she noticed Kelly’s scent. She stepped back and looked at Tracy and then back at Kelly. “Never mind about my brother, Kelly. What’s going on with you and Gary?” Gary’s scent was embedded with Kelly’s and they obviously had been having sex. Frequently.

Kelly blushed and said, “Oh, well … I was planning to explain about that. How come you always know stuff, Missy? Jeez!”

Tracy asked, “What’s this about Gary? I haven’t heard anything.”

Missy giggled. “Kelly is no longer starving for sex, that’s what. Start explaining, Kelly -- we want all the details!” Tracy started laughing and was obviously surprised at this news.

“Okay, Missy is right.” Kelly looked back and forth at the two of them. “You know how I had started talking to Gary more and more the last few weeks at Beast Training, right? I mean, he stopped by our room almost every night. At first, it was just because he was so easy to talk to. My other relationships with guys haven’t exactly included much actual talking. Those were all about having sex and when would we have sex again and was I having sex with other guys. I just never … whatever. Gary is different.”

“When did it change to more than just talking?” asked Missy.

“Acceptance Day. Did you know Gary’s Dad is a Brigadier General?” Kelly could see this was news to both Missy and Tracy. “Well, he’s stationed in Germany right now and Gary’s Mom is there with him. So they didn’t come to visit Gary and I invited him to come out with my family. The first day was really nice and we just relaxed at the hotel and then had dinner together. My parents never had dinner with any of my other boyfriends. They really liked Gary.”

Tracy said, “Well he is really smart and, as you say, very easy to talk to. His only problem was talking to girls but I guess you helped with that since he was talking to you so much; obviously, you got him to relax and just be himself.”

Missy giggled and added, “He’s actually changed a lot in appearance since that first week. I don’t suppose Kelly noticed that … or, maybe she did. Come on, Kelly! Details, details!”

“Well, actually, I hadn’t really noticed that when I first started talking to him. But, you’re right. He really got himself into great shape and lost weight and, well … I had started checking him out, actually, that last week. That’s kind of why I invited him. And, I invited him to come back with us that second day. I told my Mom how I wanted to spend a couple hours alone with Gary and she thought that was a great idea.” Kelly giggled. “Gary was clueless. But, I had decided to seduce him and let’s just say I was successful. That was Gary’s first time, too.”

Tracy and Missy were both getting a huge kick out of hearing all this. Kelly explained how she’d never stopped taking her birth control pills and how during that nice dinner with Gary and her parents, the idea of seducing him suddenly just seemed like such a wonderful idea that she began planning it right then. She went on to explain how surprised she was at what a wonderful lover Gary turned out being. He was totally into following her direction and wanted to know all about giving her orgasms. She said no one had ever been as focused on her pleasure as Gary. They’d managed getting together several times since returning to the academy. Gary was really clever at finding times and places. He was now head over heels in love with Kelly and she realized she was really in love with him now also. She never had had a relationship like this before.

Tracy summed it up by saying, “So, you started out seducing him just to satisfy your horny sex starved libido and then you realized how fantastic he was to have sex with and then you noticed how crazy he was about you and then you realized you actually loved him back just as much? Wow! That is crazy!”

Kelly smiled and said, “I probably should thank you both for stopping me when I wanted to have sex with Jeremy Hanson. You heard how he dropped out after Beast, right?” There had been 42 New Cadets who’d decided West Point was not for them and Jeremy had been one of them. Seeing her friends obviously knew about this already, Kelly went on with news they probably hadn’t heard yet. “Did you hear about Irene Hwang? She’s leaving now also. She’s just learned she’s pregnant and wants to keep the baby even though she’s already heard from Jeremy. He wants nothing to do with her or the baby. I actually now feel sorry for all the times I called her a slut.”

Missy laughed, “Wow! That’s a shame. But we’re happy for you, Kelly. Truly, we are. Just continue being careful so neither you nor Gary get into any trouble.”

“Oh, we will be, we will. We’re even careful with all our emails.” Kelly looked at Tracy and said, “Speaking of emails … does Missy know you and her brother are emailing eac
h other?”

Now Tracy blushed. “This isn’t as exciting as you and Gary, Kelly. I mean … we’re just telling each other stuff. Nothing romantic or anything; he’s not my boyfriend. He asked if he could email me and I said sure. So far, it’s been really nice. He’s really interesting and has been sharing a lot of things and encouraging me to share stuff. I’ve been telling him about how it is here at West Point and he’s been great. I’m sure it’s because Missy doesn’t tell him anything.”

Missy was staring at Tracy as she listened to all this. She doubted John was at all concerned that she wasn’t telling him anything. If John was sending Tracy emails then he really had felt a connection. “How long did the two of you talk to each other that weekend, Tracy? I really had no idea about any of this!”

Tracy said, “Oh, well, we actually did end up talking quite awhile. Especially that second day. Of course, you and Mike were in your own world.” She looked at Kelly. “You wouldn’t believe how the two of them were so into each other. Even my parents noticed. We all had dinner together that first night and when Missy and Mike came back after disappearing for two hours? Let’s just say there was no doubt what they’d been doing.”

Missy said, “Enough about what Mike and I were doing. That indeed was out of this world but I’m not sharing anything about that at all. Tell me about you and John.”

Tracy laughed. “Sorry, Missy. There’s not much to tell. But, he really is a pretty nice guy and I’m enjoying our emails. You know I don’t have any experience with guys. But, for some reason, I’m able to just be open with your brother. I think it’s because he’s being open with me, even though he doesn’t know me that well. It’s different, telling him stuff in emails. We’re not talking about sex or anything. Just stuff. Things I don’t think I’d ever say in person. Thoughts and feelings about life and everything going on from one day to the next. I don’t know … at first I hardly said anything but he kept sending me these nice messages.”

Kelly said, “And, now you’re sending him back some nice messages. That’s really sweet, Tracy. Watch out though … look what happened to me after I found it so easy telling stuff to Gary.”

Missy was seeing a whole different side of her brother John. He’d had a lot of girlfriends but had always moved on for one reason or another. That he was finding a connection with Tracy was indeed amazing. Maybe those fabulous Fates were having even more fun and had put Tracy and Missy together those first few weeks for more than one reason. Interesting!

  Chapter Twenty-Four

  Aug 2018

Ben Marchitto was sitting in first class, watching the Boston skyline slowly disappear as his flight headed back to New York. He’d talked to all the Boston guys and things there were definitely a mess. Sal was right. Ever since the Feds had arrested Frank McCarthy eight months ago the situation up there had just seemed to go from bad to worse. First, they’d let that guy Carlos from Miami take over in East Boston. An outsider? What were they thinking?

Next, in February five of Frank’s guys had disappeared. Then, it turned out the Feds must have them in witness protection since they had to be talking; bodies were getting dug up and more guys were being arrested. Sal was concerned since Marco was one of the guys who had disappeared. He and Ramon had often come down to New York, whenever Sal had asked Frank to loan him some guys. Just as Sal had loaned his guys to Frank. At the time, they both had figured that further insulated them from the various jobs since these loaner guys didn’t actually know who was calling the shots. They’d show up, get their instructions and later get paid, all without anything that could be traced to either Sal or Frank.

Now, Frank and Ramon were in prison and Marco might be in witness protection with the Feds. Worse, when Marco had disappeared, Ramon had then asked the cops for witness protection and had implicated Frank in several murders. Sal was not very comfortable but, so far, the Feds had not appeared to be looking at anything in New York. So, Frank wasn’t talking. At least, not yet.

Ramon and Marco couldn’t directly connect Sal to anything as long as Frank kept quiet. But, if they talked about the jobs they’d done in New York, when on loan from Frank to “somebody down there”, that indirect connection was still a worry since the motive for many of those jobs did point to Sal.

Next, in June, Carlos up and goes back to South America? No one knows why but they suspect the Feds might have been too close to grabbing him for something. If so, did they know anything that Sal should know about? That was one of the two reasons Sal had sent Ben up to Boston. Although no one had anyone inside the FBI, there was this guy on the police force … Jerry Masterson. Jerry had been one of Frank’s informants and then had been talking to Carlos and the guys he’d brought in. Jerry was very concerned about Carlos up and leaving, as that had left him somewhat exposed. Sal wanted to know everything Jerry might know and might have been talking about to Carlos.

The other reason for this trip was Ramon. Someone had managed to stab him to death with a shiv, in spite of the cops having him in witness protection. So much for witness protection, right? Although, the Feds seemed to be doing much better at that than the cops. So, Ramon wasn’t going to testify about anything now. It seemed obvious that Frank had managed to get someone to kill him. All those murder charges against Frank were now going nowhere. But, even so, there were still rumors there might be even more to it. Hence, Sal wanting a thorough investigation.

Why had Ramon rolled over against Frank in the first place? They were only being charged with money laundering and various “while collar” crimes. Something had to have triggered some of these events, which then seemed to cascade one after the other, and Sal wanted to know what that might be.

So, Ben had talked to everyone and had interviewed Jerry Masterson. He’d even learned how Frank had managed taking care of Ramon; he’d used the carrot and stick options on some lifer. The carrot was taking care of the lifer’s family so they’d never have any financial worries. The stick was taking care of the lifer’s family so they’d all be dead. The lifer had opted for doing what Frank wanted.

Ben had even talked to Frank. That had not resulted in learning anything but at least Frank had assured him that he was not talking to anyone about anything. Frank had said, “You be sure to report that, in case there are any interested parties who may be at all concerned.” Yeah, right. Frank knew Ben was Sal’s troubleshooter and that, indeed, Sal was both interested and concerned.

So, Ben had documented everything he’d learned. Maybe Sal could make sense of things from Ben’s report, since he knew a lot more than Ben did about Frank and things in Boston. Ben had included every wild rumor, including Jerry’s latest theory that a high school girl had somehow been mixed up in some of this. Apparently, it was no secret Frank had a strange “hands off” warning concerning her. And, Jerry claimed he’d finally learned that’s who Marco was going after, in spite of Frank’s edict, when Marco and the guys disappeared. The high school girl. Why? To get some revenge for what she did to his buddy Ramon.

According to Jerry, it was right after Marco disappeared that Ramon decided to maybe worry about Frank’s edict after all. That was when he’d demanded witness protection -- supposedly to get protection from Frank. Jerry had thought that was pretty funny, since what had started out as a kick in his balls had ended up being a shiv in his back. Sorry, Ramon!

But, Frank couldn’t really be tied to the hit on Ramon and now that all the murder charges were being dropped, it was less likely Frank had any reason to talk. So, Sal could probably relax. While the organization in Boston was in a real mess, none of the turmoil up there should be causing Sal any problems. Hopefully, Sal would agree.

Marsha and Les looked at their boss, Drew. Now what? They’d just finished briefing him on their latest review of the surveillance tapes they’d been checking ever since Missy had turned that task over to them. Billy Martin and Donny Delgato. Checking that neither of these guys would do anything to harm Missy or her family.<
br />
While Billy and Donny had often referred to Missy in their conversations with each other, they’d been very careful to never say anything in front of anyone else. From listening to these frequent conversations about Missy, Les and Marsha learned how Tony Gonzales had not been killed right away but had talked to these two guys first. All about that “witch bitch” Missy McCrea who had managed to put a spell on him and had escaped the handcuffs he had her in, using even more witchcraft. She’d even convinced him she could become a wild animal with claws and fangs. Some spell, right?

That hadn’t mattered to Billy and Donny very much since they were not about to risk Missy sending her video tape to Sal -- showing them naming Sal responsible for murders they’d done -- so they’d gone ahead and made Tony’s death look like an accident in his car, just as she’d ordered them to. But, their favorite reference to her now was as the “witch bitch”. Missy, of course, had already programmed the surveillance software to key on that phrase so every time either of them called her that, Les or Marsha would listen to see whatever else these two guys were talking about.

And, that’s how they managed learning about this ongoing round up that was apparently one of Sal D’Amato’s latest ventures. His guys were rounding up several girls, all to be shipped over to Brunei, a small oil rich Muslim nation where forcing girls to become harem sex slaves was still happening. The country was the richest per capita in the world and, in spite of the scandals years earlier when the royal family had been caught doing this, the demand for girls continued to be very high. As did the payments.

The girls needed to be young and beautiful. More important, they needed to be girls that wouldn’t easily be able to escape their fate. Runaways were usually good, since they often were more afraid of going home than of life in some billionaire’s harem. Some due diligence was needed to assure the girl wasn’t someone with either family or friends seeking to find her. The girls were often held in New York for weeks until it was certain they’d not be missed. Then, with false passports and ID’s, they’d be shipped over to Brunei.
