“Maggie, who the fuck is Landon Castle?” Tobias finally was able to ask.
I looked at the floor and clutched on to Sarah’s hand, “My ex from Vegas,” I finally said without looking at him.
“The fucker who said you weren’t slutty enough?” Tobias hissed and I shook my head yes.
I was suddenly chasing Tobias into the hall and trying to pull him back into the apartment as he pressed the button to call the elevator. He looked down at me and I knew it wasn’t possible to get him back in there; he was going to confront Landon. I wrapped my arm around him and he pulled me into him and kissed the top of my head.
As I exited the elevator Landon noticed me and started walking towards me with a huge smile on his face. He halted and his smile fell when a pissed off Tobias stepped out of the elevator.
“What do you want Landon?” I asked before Tobias could say a word.
“Can I have a word with you in private?” He asked.
“No!” Tobias barked out.
The elevator dinged and in the window I saw the reflection of Jimmy and Liam step out. Landon noticed them to, his eyes widening a little more. I swear as they stepped closer to us I could see his body shake with fear.
His eyes pleaded with me as he started to say “Maggie…”
I cut him off “Landon whatever you have to say you can say it in front of Tobias and my security team. I hold no secrets from any of them.”
He shuffled his feet and fiddled with the rolled up papers in his hands. I went to speak but he held out his hands and pushed the papers towards me. I took them and unrolled them. Looking down anger grew in the pit of my stomach. God damn motherfucker I’m gonna rip his fucking head off.
Tobias ripped them out of my hands as Landon went to speak, “Five hundred thousand or I release them.”
“You’re fucking blackmailing me?” I screamed at him as I tried to grab the copies of the photos back from Tobias. I was able to grab some of them and looked down at them as tears welled in my eyes.
The memory of that night came rushing back, I had forgotten all about this day. It was a few months after Landon and I got together, for fun one night I joined him and a couple of his friends and their girlfriends at a local strip club. It was amateur night and it had a grand prize of ten thousand dollars plus whatever was thrown at you while you were dancing.
“Landon I don’t want to do this. I’m not comfortable up there.”
“Come on gorgeous, the crowed will love you. I bet you could even win. Besides you work for Jubilee this is no different than that.”
“Landon I work backstage, I’m not out on the stage naked. I can’t do this,” I waved my hand at the stage towards the girl who was hanging upside down and shaking her tits.
I must have fought with him for twenty minutes over this. I didn’t want to do it. I was comfortable being naked at home with just me and him but I didn’t want to be naked in public where anyone could see me.
“Look the other girls have done it. You want me to look like a pussy in front of my friends because my girl won’t do it.” His hand tugged on my hair, “I’ll make it up to you when we get home,” he said as he licked my neck.
“Fine, but I’m not happy about this Landon. I want you to know I’m only doing this for you.”
“Thank you Schatz,” he said as he kissed my lips and walked me over to the DJ booth, he told the DJ to play a certain song and then ushered me on the stage. The first cords of the song started and embarrassment rose to my face. He chose this song because I stripped for him to this song at home, in the private of our bedroom.
Closer by Nine Inch Nails was playing loudly through the speakers and I froze for a minute, then I saw his smiling face at the end of the catwalk. I closed my eyes and shut out the other people in the room. I stripped my clothes off and humped the floor and pole to the dirty song playing through the speakers. How I managed not to fall of the stage was a miracle, because I didn’t open my eyes once. I didn’t strip all the way, I left my panties on. I wasn’t comfortable showing everything. As the song ended I walked back towards the DJ booth gathering my clothes on the way. I left all the money that was thrown at me sitting on the stage, I didn’t care about it.
Once dressed I walked back over to our group, Landon scooped me up in his arms and planted a kiss on me. “Baby that was fucking sexy as all hell,” he said to me as I buried my face in his neck from embarrassment.
One of the regular dancers walked over to me and shoved a handful of cash in my hands, “This is what was thrown on the stage, and you were good you should think about doing this for a living,” then she turned and sauntered her barely covered ass away from us.
“Landon can we go home now?” I asked him.
“As soon as we see if you won,” he said back.
Fifteen minutes later I was walking out with a check for ten grand and almost nine hundred in cash, along with enough embarrassment to last a lifetime. After cashing the check and paying bills with it, I never thought of that night again, until now.
“Five hundred thousand or I release them,” Landon said again.
I didn’t even have time to respond, Tobias’s fist connected with Landon’s nose and I heard the thing break as blood rushed out. Jimmy had Tobias in a death grip trying to pull him off of Landon. Tobias must have landed ten or fifteen good blows to Landon’s face before he was pulled off.
“Now you don’t have a choice Maggie, now I’m releasing them. I asked for a minute alone with you and your fucking shithead boyfriend just screwed it up,” Landon screamed at me from the floor.
Before he could even scramble away Detective Kelly walked in the building shaking his head at me, “Maggie I should have known.”
As Detective Kelly took everyone’s statement Zane Summers and Jason Gandy walked into the building. After telling them both the story about amateur night and the pictures, Zane was leaving the building and headed to the office to work on an injunction to get Landon to not release those pictures.
Without really hearing what he was saying as I stood there with daggers shooting out of my eyes towards Landon, Detective Kelly chatted away with Tobias and Decker about possibly pressing charges against Landon. I didn’t really care I just wanted the pictures and it to be over with.
“If he’s willing to give over the pictures, all the pictures not just copies, I don’t want to press charges,” I said without looking away from Landon. “If he’s not willing to give me them, have the DA press the maximum charges he could possibly get.”
I walked away as they all went to protest and sat in the chair next to Sarah. “Maggie, are you sure you want to do that?” She asked.
I shook my head yes and watched as Detective Kelly walked over to Landon. He spoke to him and Landon seemed to take in whatever he was saying. I had no idea what they were talking about, I couldn’t hear them, I couldn’t read their lips, I was going crazy as I sat there and waited.
I was beginning to understand why Sarah threw things and baked when she was nervous. My hands were twitching and I was looking for something to throw against the wall. I was looking for something to punch.
“Take your shoe off and throw it at the wall,” Sarah whispered in my ear like she knew what I was thinking. When I looked at her weird she cocked her eyebrow and nodded to my foot. “I’d give you mine but I came down bare foot.” She stuck her legs straight out and wiggled her toes at me.
I giggled, I couldn’t help it. In the past year the two of us have been through so much stress that we knew what to say and when to say it. Just as her life was coming together mine was falling apart. I had Jon stalking me and now Landon was trying to blackmail me. What’s next? Who’s next?
Zane walked back into the building and handed Detective Kelly some papers and then walked over and handed me a matching set of papers. “That is an injunction stopping him from releasing the papers until this could be settled in court. Or hopefully out of court.”
I watched as Detective Kelly still tal
ked to Landon, shaking the papers at him. He pulled out his phone and punched some buttons. He turned the phone towards Landon and was pointing at something on the screen as he explained. I wanted to know what they were talking about. It was killing me.
Landon reached into his pock, pulled something out and handed it to Detective Kelly. Detective Kelly handed it to a uniform officer and said something to him. The young man was out the door with another officer less than a minute later.
From the lobby I could see the press growing outside. They were always relentless, always looking for a story. Tobias noticed I was staring at them and was on the phone with his publicist trying to squash any story from coming out.
An hour later the two officers that left before came back into the lobby and handed Detective Kelly a large padded envelope. I watched as he opened it and looked through the content. He had a few more words with Landon and then those same two officers escorted Landon out of the building.
Zane and Jason talked to Detective Kelly for about ten minutes while I sat there just about to go out of my mind. I wanted to know where Landon went. I wanted to know what he said to Landon and what Landon said to him. I wanted to know what was in the envelope.
Zane finally took the envelope from Detective Kelly and walked over to me with it tucked under his arm. “Any other photos we need to worry about out there?” He asked.
I shake my head no. “Honestly I didn’t even know he took those. I had my eyes closed the whole time.”
Zane hands me the envelope, “Burn it, hid it, put it under lock and key, just don’t let it get out. You’re lucky Detective Kelly was able to scare him with the threat of twenty years in prison.”
I looked inside the envelope and there were multiple sets of the pictures. “How do I know this is everything? How do I know he doesn’t have another set somewhere or copies saved on his computer?”
“He claims that’s everything, you’re gonna have to give him a little trust.”
I snorted loudly. Trust Landon, yeah I don’t see myself doing that any time soon. He blew that trust first when he took the pictures and never told me and second when he walked in here and demanded money from me.
I thanked Zane and with Sarah trailing behind me we headed up to the apartment. Once inside we both walked into the kitchen. Sarah pulled out a big cast iron pot, a lighter and a bottle of tequila. She grabbed the envelope from my hand and pulled all the pictures out. She shoved the envelope into the pot, poured some tequila on it and lit it up.
Holding the pictures out to me she said, “This is your nightmare, you put an end to it.”
There were probably five sets of twenty pictures each. Geeze I had no idea he took so many pictures. Probably would have been a good idea to have opened my eyes at some point. But I didn’t and there’s no going back on it now.
One by one I dropped the photos in the pot. Tobias wrapped himself around me at some point and just watched as I dropped them in. He would drop a kiss on my neck every now and then. When I got to the last bundle of pictures Tobias placed his hand over mine halting my progress.
“I don’t want to keep any of them. It’s a memory I don’t want. It’s a memory I never wanted. I fought not to do it but he strong armed me into it,” I said as I leaned back into him.
He let go of my hand and nuzzled into my neck. I continued on with dumping the pictures into the pot until nothing was left in my hand. I took a swig straight out of the tequila bottle and dumped some more into the pot making the flames shoot higher and the pictures curl and burn till there was nothing left.
I turned and nuzzled into Tobias’s neck and started to kiss my way up to his ear. Without detaching himself from me we walked into the bedroom. Tobias set about removing my clothes and when I was naked walked me over to the bed and laid me down on it. I watched with hooded eyes as Tobias’s face disappeared between my legs and his tongue swiped at my lips parting them.
Tobias added two fingers as he licked my clit. Sliding his fingers in and out and the motion of his tongue pushed me higher and higher. I was feeling the burn in my stomach and it started to spread up and out. I exploded when I couldn’t take any more. Climaxing like I’ve never before
Before I could come down all the way Tobias was hovering over me naked. Gloriously naked, muscles tight and showing off that glorious body he has. He slid into me and held himself still. I tried to wiggle against him and get the friction I was looking for but he held himself tightly against me with his hands gripping my hips. His fingers dug so tight I’m sure I would have bruises tomorrow.
“Maggie…I need…I have to…” he closed his eyes tight and shook his head. “Maggie I’ve never said this before but I can’t hold it in any more.” His eyes opened, they burned the brightest blue I had ever seen.
“Tobias what do you need to say?”
He slides out very solely and then back in making my back arch. His eyes slid down my body and back up. When they reached my eyes again he inhaled deeply, “Maggie…I’m in love with you like you wouldn’t believe. Since the day you walked in that door almost a year ago, I haven’t breathed without thinking of you. I feel lost when you’re not around. Your pain is my pain, your heart is my heart, and your breath is my breath. Maggie, let me love you with everything I have.”
I never took my eyes off of Tobias as he talked. The more he talked the bigger my smile got. Tears filled my eyes as I finally was able to say, “It’s about fucking time you said it. I was beginning to think I would never hear it. I love you to Tobias.” I ran my hand down his cheek and kissed him deeply. “Move Tobias, make love to me.”
Our hips rocked together. Our body covered in sweat, slipped against each other. I could feel his cock throbbing inside me. I felt the fire burning inside and spreading to all parts of my body. As I chased my second orgasm Tobias never slowed down. He pounded on and soon I was chasing my third and just as it hit Tobias found his release and filled me with his hot cum.
Chapter 11
I stare into Tobias’s blue eyes, I watch him shove clothes into his suite case as I sat in the middle of the bed in his apartment. Why he even kept this place still was a mystery to me. He barely ever came home, he was always at Decker’s apartment with me. Plus now that construction had started on the other apartments it was only time till we lived with each other permanently. I hated to watch him pack knowing that he was going to be gone for six weeks.
Last year at this time I struggled to understand Sarah’s struggle as Decker left, but know I knew what she was feeling, it was like a piece of me was walking away. It was only six weeks right? I could do six weeks. I did it last year, but Tobias wasn’t in my life last year like he is now. Yeah right who am I kidding, I had only known Tobias for two weeks at that point but I was madly in love with him.
“Sweetheart you do realize one year ago we met right?” He interrupted my thoughts.
I smiled at him, “It was one of the best and worst nights of my life. But I can’t believe it’s been a year. Where has time gone?”
“Don’t think about the bad part of the night. She’s finally where she belongs and safe after a tough year. Now she has Decker and they’re having twins. They’ll be happy finally.” He walked over and sat down next to me on the bed gathering me up into his lap. “I’m taking you out tonight. I want to wine and dine you one last time before I leave next week.”
“Do you have to go? Can’t you just stay here with me?” I didn’t mean for it to but it came out kinda whinny but it did.
Tobias laughed at me, “Sweetheart, you’ll survive. I’ll call you every night. It’s only six weeks. You survived last year didn’t you?”
“You weren’t mine last year.”
“I was yours Maggie. I was yours the second you walked in that door and I laid my eyes on you. Nothing has changed either. Except now when I get back OUR apartment should be done and we will be living together.”
I snuggled into his shoulder and sighed, “What are you going to do with this place?”
“It’s going on the market as soon as our place is done. I want you and Sarah to come here if the construction gets too much for either of you. I want you to come here and snuggle into my bed if you miss me too much.”
I leaned back and picked up one of the pillows off the bed and took a big sniff. “You’ve barely slept here this past year your pillows no longer smell like you. I’d have better luck sniffing the pillow on my bed that’s where you sleep almost every night.”
Tobias fell back with laughter, “I cannot believe you just smelled my pillow!”
I pushed on his arm to get him to stop laughing and it did nothing, he just laughed at me harder. Grabbing the pillow I just smelt, I smacked him upside the head. He stopped laughing, but, had an evil smirk on his face.
“You just hit me with a pillow. You do know you’re going to have to pay for that right?”
Oh this was going to be too much fun. Scooting to the edge of the bed I draped one leg over and then smacked him in the head with the pillow again. I was up and running down the hallway when I heard him bellow my name followed by laughter. I skidded into the dining room and quickly climbed into the bottom cabinet on the bar.
I hear him calling my name as he walks down the hallway. I’m trying not to laugh as I hide in the cabinet. As it is, he’s going to find me here anyways when he realizes I’m nowhere else.
“Sweetheart, I will find you and when I do you will be in for some punishment,” I hear him laughing from the living room.
He has to walk through the dining room to get into the kitchen. As soon as I hear him pass the bar I will be out and running towards the bathroom where I could hide in the linen closet. I hear his feet shuffle past the bar and I slowly open the door, I inch out and squat for a second. When I hear what I think is him in the kitchen I’m running towards the bathroom.
I feel his fingers graze my shirt as I pass the couch. I’m laughing and squealing like a little kid. I hurtle the couch and hear him laugh as I put some distance between us. I’m hoping to outrun him just enough to get into the bathroom and hide but I know it’s not going to happen.
