Brady laughed then laid back and pulled her farther on top of him. “Lightweights. That’s what they are. Can’t hold their cum longer than a few minutes.”

“Is that so?” She smiled and ground against him harder, tightening her pussy muscles around his cock.

His eyes grew big and his jaw slack. “Shit. That’s no fair, darlin’.”

“All’s fair in love and war. Especially in love,” she quipped and pushed her tits against his face.

“Damn it.” His body stiffened as his explosion came fast and hard. Slamming into her once more, he tensed, stilled, then held on to her breasts, squeezing them hard.

Dart laughed. “What were you saying, man? Something about holding your cum?”

She couldn’t wait any longer, either. The buildup of her climax had grown slowly, but now it thundered to its end. Feeling as though her body was breaking apart from the inside out, she cried out as her climax took her. Shudders racked her. Waves rolled through her until she was sure she’d pass out.

Ethan went to his knees beside them. His eyes gleamed with a different kind of hunger. “Are you sure you want us to change you? It’ll be rough for the next few days. Painful.”

“But I won’t remember much of it, right? Isn’t that what you said before?” They’d talked about the transformation several times, preparing her in case she decided to go through with it.

  “That’s usually how it goes.”

  “Okay, then, I’m ready.”

“Now?” Ethan checked with the other two men. “Here?”

“Yes. Right now before I lose my nerve.”

“Are you sure?” asked Dart. “There’s no going back, you know.”

“Please stop asking me that.” She grew jumpy, but she’d had enough time to make a decision. She wanted to be their mate in every way possible. “Bite me, my alphas. Now.”

They fell on her. Ethan bit her arm. Dart went behind her and sank his fangs into her shoulder. Brady sat up, taking her with him, his gaze on hers as she opened her mouth to free a silent scream. He smiled, caressed her cheek, then sank his teeth into her other shoulder.

The pain was immeasurable. If she hadn’t had her men holding her, touching her, she might’ve prayed to die.

  Epilogue

“Troubled times are coming.” Maddie Connor stretched out on the lawn chair next to Laney.

Laney watched her men at the corral as they wrangled a horse. “I’m afraid you’re right.”

“You know you really shouldn’t be telling me any of this. After all, we’re not in the same pack.”

“So should I keep my mouth shut from now on?” She smiled, taking the sting out of her words. “Are you saying I can’t trust you?”

“Of course you can.” Maddie and her sister, Stella, had become good friends to Laney.

She turned away as Ethan let out a loud laugh, giving Dart hell for missing his chance to lasso the horse. “Do you think Willa knows about shifters? If she doesn’t find out soon, then she’ll get caught in the middle of it when everything starts happening.”

Willa Michaels was the newest addition to Fate. She’d come to Fate on a whim, wanting to see “a small Georgia town” before she continued on her trip to New York City. Laney had it on good word—Shawna’s, of course—that the girl had stayed on in Fate after meeting Grant Standard, Roan Rysling, and Thomas Ash. Laney couldn’t blame her, of course. All three men were hot as hell, almost as sexy as her men. Their problem, like her men’s, was that they were in the wrong pack.

“I heard Moses Garrett’s after her.” Maddie shuddered.

“That was before she met the other guys.”

“That doesn’t mean Moses is going to back off.” Werewolves rarely backed down, even when they knew they should.

“I hope they tell her what they are.”

“Do you think we should?” asked Maddie. “Just to make sure?”

  “Nope. It’s not our place.”

“You’re right.” Maddie took a drink from her bottle of beer. “Damn. I wish Moses would just up and leave town.”

“Me, too.” She hated thinking about the Garrett Pack. The past five months had been difficult. More and more of the pack seemed disgruntled and wanting a change. Which, of course, made Moses and Carl even harder to get along with.

“Hey, you two, what are you talking about?” Brady sauntered over, looking for all the world like a hero out of a romance novel.

Laney shaded her eyes. “Nothing much. Just how hot my men are.”

Maddie sputtered her drink. “And mine, too, of course.”

“Of course,” agreed Laney. Although mine are hotter.

Brady eyed her suspiciously. “Sure you were. If I asked you again, would I get a different answer?”

Laney tilted her head to the side as she’d seen them do so often. As she’d started doing, too. She figured it was just one of those things a werewolf did.

A werewolf. Yeah. Me and my men are werewolves.

“Now why would you have to ask again? I’d never lie to my alphas.” She grinned and offered him a beer out of the cooler. What good would it have done to bring up the subject of the pack? Instead, she’d stand by her men whatever happened.

“Uh-huh.” Brady took the bottle then lifted it, showing Ethan and Dart what she’d brought for them.

Laney smiled, gave her friend a knowing look, then offered up a silent prayer. Watch over me, Harlen, if you can.

If a pack war was coming, they’d face it together. She and her alphas.
