“For what,” he asks and pecks me back.
“For being my hero, my beast, my Noah bear, my Nasty Noah,” I smile.
Noah growls and scoops me up in his arms. I yelp as he starts out of the room with me cradled against his chest. “I haven’t shown you nasty yet,” he growls against my lips.
I bet he hasn’t, but I can’t wait to see.

Family
Noah
Two and a half years later…
“Daddy,” I hear a little voice sing from behind me as I unload my truck. I turn to find my son running at me at top speed.
My kids are gorgeous. I followed in my father’s footsteps. My sons are ten months apart and Bean is expecting again. I’m secretly hoping for a girl this time around. My nieces are all spoiled and I had a huge hand in that.
I sit down the boxes I have in my hands and scoop up my oldest, Brodie. I nuzzle his neck, tickling him with the whiskers of my beard, making him giggle and squeal. I love that sound. Bean walks over with her round belly and Connor in her arms.
“I told you to stop carrying him everywhere. He can walk just fine,” I say as I narrow my eyes at Bean.
“I’m fine, Noah, I didn’t want him to fall trying to run after Brodie,” Bean replies and puffs a strand of hair out of her face.
“Dada,” Connor coos and holds out his little chubby arms. I take him from his mother in my other arm. I wonder again, what we are feeding these two.
My boys are bruisers. Brodie was born nine pounds ten ounces and twenty-one inches long. Connor topped him at eleven pounds even and twenty-one and a half inches long.
These little monsters don’t seem like they will ever stop growing. Brodie is almost two, but he looks more like a three-year-old. Connor looks like he could be two.
I still laugh when I think about the day Bean gave birth to our first child. She gets pissed at me every time. It’s a memory I will cherish forever.
“Oh, my God. Whose idea was it for me to let you get me pregnant?” Rebecca whined.
I just smirked at her. I know she was tired. She’d been at it for twelve hours. Our son was in no hurry at all. I reach to wipe the sweat off her face.
“Mrs. Black, I just need you to give one more good push,” the doctors coaxed.
Rebecca squeezed my hand so hard I grimaced. “Baby, are you trying to break my hand,” I murmured.
“Oh, shut up, your son is trying to break my vagina,” Bean growled.
I rolled my lips, trying to stifle a laugh, but it was useless. I burst out into laughter and kissed her forehead, when she glared at me. “Baby, I’m sorry. That was just funny, you had to see your face,” I chuckled.
“Noah Black, I’m about to leave you and your son here. I’m tired,” Bean rolled her eyes and grumbles.
“Just push, Baby,” I said as I held my laughter in. Where did she think she was going? Like she could just get up and walk away.
Bean bared down and gritted her teeth. My heart nearly leapt from my chest when I saw the top of my son’s head full of dark curls and then his cry pierced the room. I looked down into Rebecca’s tired face.
“You did it, Baby,” I said in awe of my wife.
“Never again, Noah. You keep that thing away from me,” Bean replied, as she side eyed me.
Even one of the nurses giggled as she handed over our son. I had to laugh. I knew then, Bean wouldn’t last a week on her promise.
And now, we have these two little monsters and one on the way. “Daddy, you have something for me,” Brodie asks as he looks down at the boxes I pulled from my truck.
“Maybe,” I say looking down at him with a smile, before kissing the top of his unruly curls.
The boys both took after my eyes, but their light brown skin is the same caramel as their mother’s. Their hair is a crazy mix of Bean and mine. I laugh whenever Bean pulls their curls into buns, I walk around with two mini mes and it overwhelms me with joy every time.
“Uncle Wyatt and Evan are coming over. Do you have something for them,” Brodie asks with big eyes.
“You and Connor will just have to help Daddy open them and see,” I reply. Brodie’s face lights up, and he squirms to get down. I place him on his feet and he runs around the boxes peeking.
“I can’t wait for Evan to get here,” Brodie clasps his little hands.
Brodie and his cousin Evan are inseparable when they get together. They are the funniest kids ever. Connor has just started following them around getting into trouble with them. It reminds me of Wyatt, John, and me, when we were little.
Mom is in heaven with all of her grandchildren. She’ll have all of our children cursing like sailors in no time. Nora has already been caught on video saying, shit, at her third birthday party when she didn’t blow out all the candles on the first try.
The look on Nellie’s face was priceless. Hell, Wyatt’s face was a close second. I thought he was going to be sick. See in my brother’s head, Nora is a little princess that can do no wrong. That foul word on her cute little lips, wrench his heart out and I have the video to prove it.
It’s hilarious to listen to Wyatt try to get Dad to do something about mom’s mouth. Dad humors him and then my parents both laugh behind his back. Cassidy Black is Cassidy Black, no one will ever change that.
Well, with the exception of Jordan. Now, my niece Jordan has her grandmother wrapped around her tiny finger. She isn’t even two yet and she got Mom to refrain from cursing a whole day.
All Jordan did was give mom those big eyes and a look of horror, as she shook her little finger. “Bad word,” she had gasped and shook her little head. Mom turned beet red and didn’t say another foul word all day. We still won’t let mom live it down.

All Jordan did was give mom these big eyes and a look of horror, as she shook her little finger. “Bad word,” she has gasps and shake her little head. Mom turned beet right and didn’t say another foul word all day. We still won’t let mom live that down.
“Come on, Buddy, let’s get this stuff inside for the party,” I croon to my big guy.
“We’re having a party, Mama,” Brodie says as he smiles at Bean showing his little teeth.
“Yes, Baby we are,” Bean sings to our son. I watch my wife rub her belly and can’t keep myself from reaching for her.
“You look gorgeous. It’s going to drive me crazy to wait all day to cut into that cake,” I say against her lips, before kissing her breathless.
“We could always call your mother and ask her what we’re having,” Bean laughs into my mouth.
“Nope, you wanted to find out with everyone at your shower, so that’s what we’re doing,” I reply and let my hand slide down to her round ass. I love a pregnant Bean, T & A for the taking.
“Shut those dirty thoughts down, Noah Black. We have a baby shower in an hour,” Bean smiles and pulls away.
I groan. It’s going to be a mad house. Our parents, my brothers, their wives and children, along with our friends and their families. I laugh when I think of those Donati boys. What are they like three? Well, Inzo has a crush on Nora already. Yeah, this is going to be fun.
“Come on, Baby, let’s get this show on the road,” I grumble and place Connor down to walk on his own.
“Dada, pooh,” Connor says and makes a stink face as he sniffs the air. “Ut-oh.”
I roll my eyes and shake my head. Rebecca throws her head back and laughs. “I’ll see you inside,” Bean calls as she waddles inside as swiftly as her long legs will allow.
Brodie already has a box he is dragging in behind his mother. Connor is looking up at me expectantly, like it is my job and my job alone, to clean his little ass. “I want a girl,” I yell after Rebecca.
Beans barks from somewhere in the house. He is just a big trader these days. He’s probably in the new baby’s room
. His favorite new spot.
“You’ll be changing her too,” Rebecca chimes back at me.
“Don’t I know it,” I grumble and then laugh my ass off as I look down at my son. “Well, if you can undress yourself. You can sit on a potty.”
Connor has stripped out of his shorts and one side of his diaper. I scoop him and a box up before it gets messy out here and I have more shit to clean up. I kiss the top of his head.
“I wouldn’t trade you all for the world,” I breathe against the top of his head.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Hey guys, so this is book number sixteen in seventeen months. Get the freak out of here, LOL. Phew, I don’t even know what to say to that. Yay, God! I’m just grateful because I’m not running out of stories or characters. They are always talking and keeping me entertained.
I am just so happy that you are being entertained as well. Thank you so much, for your support and for taking these wild rides with me. I take not one of you for granted. So, continue to email and leave posts, they help so much when I need to hear simple words of encouragement.
This book was an interesting one and it happened at an interesting time in my life. Noah and I fought the whole way through, and yes, he was right most of the time, but I’m me. I happen to be stubborn, LOL. I love the story he forced me to tell in the end, though. It was well worth the fight. My goal is to get you to feel my characters and I’m not happy until I feel them. Noah made sure I did just that, so I hope you have enjoyed.
I want to thank my team. Of course, I need to give my husband a huge shout out. When I freaked out with this book he was there to lead me through my crazy. Thanks Love.
Like I said, this book happened at an interesting time in my life. To God be the Glory, I know he is showing me much and teaching me to be true to my heart and who I am. My heart will always speak louder than false truths and attacks. For this, I am thankful for Grace. God understands what I mean and I thank him for it. Let my talents be a light for his Glory, because this is not done without him. I know my Source and give honor to my God. May I continue to hear and listen to his will.
