“Door is unlocked,” I said as I went up the steps.
Gwen pushed it open, letting Barney into the house, and I followed. I eased Delilah onto the couch in the living room and took a step back. Her mom immediately rushed to her side, holding her tight.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” Gwen said, tears sliding down her cheeks. “I never meant to make you feel like you had to leave your own home, and I know Griffin feels the same way. Things got out of hand.”
“Gwen, honey, I think she’d like some time alone with Titan,” Lance said. “Maybe we can come for breakfast in the morning or meet in town for lunch.”
Gwen nodded, hugging Delilah one more time before she stood.
I saw them out, shutting and locking the door behind them. No matter how well-meaning anyone might be, I didn’t want any interruptions tonight.
“Come on, baby. You want to lie down?” I asked.
“Will you stay with me?”
I knelt at her feet, taking her hands in mine. “I’m not leaving your side for any longer than necessary.”
I stood and picked her up, carrying her upstairs to our bedroom. Barney stayed at my feet and stretched out on the floor next to the bed. I helped Delilah into a nightgown, then turned down the covers. She slid into bed as I stripped out of my clothes. I looked down at myself and paused. I’d gotten the blood off at Boucher’s, but I didn’t want to risk having missed any spots. No fucking way would I get into bed before I knew for sure I’d gotten it all.
“I should shower,” I said.
“Leave the door open?” she asked.
“Of course. I’ll be quick.” I went into the bathroom and started the shower, not even waiting for the water to warm. I scrubbed my skin and hair with brisk motions, rinsed, and got out. I toweled off, then went back to the bedroom, where Delilah lay curled on her side of the bed. She held out a hand to me and I slid in next to her, pulling her into my arms.
“Don’t ever let me go,” she murmured, clinging to me.
“Never.” I pressed my lips to her forehead, then her lips. “You’re mine. Now and always. There’s no one I love more than you.”
She looked up at me, her lower lip trembling. “Make love to me, Justin. Please. Wipe away the memory of his hands on me. I need something happy, something good, to focus on.”
“Baby, I don’t want to hurt you.” I lightly ran my hand down her side. “You’re injured.”
“It doesn’t matter. I need you.”
I kissed her, trying to take things slow. I gathered her nightgown as my lips moved over hers. I pulled back to remove the garment, leaving her naked in my arms. The feel of her curves against my body was enough to make my already hard cock stiffen even more.
I rolled us so that I lay on my back with Delilah draped over me. “Better this way, baby. You take the lead. Take what you need from me.”
Her gaze locked with mine as she straddled me, her slick pussy brushing against my cock. I gripped my shaft while she sank down onto it, groaning at how fucking incredible she felt. I placed my hands on her hips but tried not to hold on too tight.
“Ride me, beautiful.”
It was all the urging she needed. Delilah rose and fell, each stroke taking me deeper until she’d taken every inch I had to give. Her movements were slow. She splayed her hands on my chest, giving her better leverage.
“That’s it. Fuck but you feel good.” I reached between us, rubbing her clit.
Delilah cried out. Her hips jerked and soon she was riding me faster, pushing both of us to the brink. I worked her clit until she screamed out my name, her pussy milking my cock. I bucked my hips, thrusting up into her as I came.
She panted for breath and collapsed on my chest. Running my hand up and down her back, I felt my cock twitch inside her. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
“No. It was wonderful, and just what I needed.” She pressed kisses to my chest before kissing my lips. “Love you, Justin.”
“Love you too, baby.”
She fell asleep in my arms, our bodies still joined. Now that I had her back, I was never letting her go. I was protective of her before, but now I was going to take it up a few notches. I’d assign someone to her twenty-four hours a day, every day of the fucking week. Every time she left the house, she’d have a shadow. Maybe two.
“You’re my entire world, baby,” I murmured. “My everything.”
Epilogue
Delilah -- One Month Later
I sat in the kitchen, my heel on the edge of my chair as I painted my toenails. Barney snored on the floor nearby, and I heard Titan talking on the phone in the other room. Neither of my guys left my side for long. Titan had gotten word my grandfather was no longer an issue, but he still didn’t let me leave without at least two bodyguards. I wasn’t sure who had been more scared the day I’d been taken. Me or him.
He came back into the room, but I heard another set of booted steps behind him. I craned my neck to see who else was here and leapt out of my seat when I saw Samurai.
“You’re all right!” I threw my arms around him, making him grunt. “Sorry! Sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
“I’m fine. Just still a bit tender,” he said. “My club is sending someone to get my bike and I’ll ride back in the truck.”
“Thank you. For coming after me that day.” I kissed his cheek, earning me a growl from Titan. “I’m glad you’re okay. When I saw you on the ground that night, and all the blood, I thought you were dead.”
“I’m tougher than that.” He smiled. “I just wanted to come say goodbye. Try to stay out of trouble.”
I nodded and leaned back against Titan as he pulled me against his body. Samurai walked out and I heard the front door shut a moment later.
“He’s not the only one on the mend,” Titan said. “Galahad and Morgan are going to be fine too. Morgan’s broken bones have healed, and Galahad is about back to normal. And I heard the two girls we found at Boucher’s are both recovering nicely. One of them was Luther’s daughter, and the other had been living on the streets. But they’re going to be okay.”
“Does this mean we get our happily-ever-after now?” I asked.
“Is this a storybook?” He sounded amused and I tipped my head back, noting the smile on his lips.
“Well, I did have a sexy hero come rescue me. I might not be a princess, but it doesn’t mean we can’t live our own fairy tale. Besides, a big, badass biker is way better than a prince.”
He leaned down and kissed me. “I’m glad you feel that way.”
“What’s next?”
“Next?” he asked.
“For us. For the club. The bad guys have been dealt with. So what happens now?” I asked.
“You already said what happens.”
I turned in his arms and looped my arms around his neck. “I did?”
He grinned. “Yeah. We live happily ever after.”
Rising on my tiptoes, I kissed him soft and slow. He gripped my hips lifting me and I wound my legs around his waist. Barney barked at our feet and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“I don’t think he likes you manhandling me.”
“Then he can go outside,” Titan said. “Because you’re mine. My wife. My love. The very breath in my lungs.”
I melted a little at his words. “You say the sweetest things.”
He dipped his head, his voice going a bit lower. “Don’t tell anyone. You’ll ruin my image. I’m supposed to be the President of Hades Abyss, untouchable, unshakeable. If everyone knows my wife has me wrapped around her finger, I may be overthrown.”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Now you’re being silly. Who on earth would dare try to take down Titan?”
The smile slipped from his face. “Someone, somewhere. My life will never be safe or ordinary, Delilah. There will always be danger lurking in the shadows, coming for me when I least expect it. But I will give my life to keep you safe. You and our child. That’s a vow I’ll never break.”
“Then we should enjoy the peace
and quiet while we have some.” I nipped his bottom lip. “Or maybe we can go make some noise of our own.”
“Insatiable,” he murmured.
“Only because of the sexy beast I get to call my husband. He’s the only man I’ve ever wanted, will ever want. Because I love him above all others.”
Titan kissed me, our lips not breaking apart even as he carried me upstairs, shutting the door before Barney could dart into our room. I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring, any more than he did, but I knew I’d love him until I drew my last breath. I’d come here to find my independence. I never counted on finding love.
In Titan, I had a husband. A lover. And a best friend. Everything I’d ever wanted. Maybe this wasn’t happily-ever-after, but it was close enough for me.

If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you’ve come to the right place. She doesn’t shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.
The times Harley isn’t writing, she’s thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more.
