BOOK DESCRIPTION
Thrilling action, constant adventures, unexpected twists, accompanied by inspiring and explosive humor, are just a fraction of the things that you will encounter while reading this book. Double the action and triple the excitement is something you could expect at any point.
Two men, with one desire, in a city you must figure out to survive, they sold a new drug, and the government wanted in… All for the wrong reasons… You know, reasons that might cost millions of lives.
Both emigrants, both smart and funny, Leo and Capone are an awesome duo, capable of almost everything… The first one with a mob background and chemistry education, the second with mad computer skills and mafia blood, all they wanted was to sell drugs, like everybody else. Unfortunately, their drug wasn’t like the rest. Their drug was the missing link. What follows might even change the course of history. An unexpected twist will change them forever…
FROM THE AUTHOR
I had a lot of fun writing this trilogy. Every time I read it, I burst into laughter at some lines written by me a long time ago, because, aside from the other two, I didn’t write this one in a week, but from time to time for the last 17 years. Yes, that’s right, I started writing this book back in ’99. I did change this and that over the years, especially the year in which the action in it was, but in general, I kept it genuine. Basically, I started when I was only 15 years old. Who would have guessed that it would see the light one day? There is a lot of history and hidden interpretations in this unique book, so read carefully. My future books, though, won’t have much of that same element, because they will be written way faster. They will have other hidden mysteries to compensate, though! Enjoy… and don’t miss the other two sequels. Lots of new characters will emerge, including some strong women. It gets really wild. Time traveling has never been so much fun…
If you enjoyed this book or received value from it in any way, than I’d like to ask you for a favor: would you be kind enough to leave a review for this book on Amazon? It’d be greatly appreciated!

Chapter I
A few years later, somewhere on the Australian shores.
The waves gently lapped by the empty coast. The sun was setting on the horizon, and the sight resembled a computer collage. Two men had stretched on a chaise longue and drinking cocktails while enjoying the beautiful sunset.
“So glad we gave up the old business the last few years,” split the silence one of them.
“Super,” his friend answered without even looking at him.
“So glad,” continued the other one, “that we chose not to deal with drugs, weapons, prostitution, cartels, shootouts, travel in time...”
His friend gently took off hissunglasses and looked at him.
“So glad,” said the man for a third time because he hadn’t noticed that his friend was watching him.
“Galfo,” Leo interrupted this time, “stop with that! I’m bored too. You know very well that we promised not to get involved in anything.”
Capone gasped and took a sip of the cocktail, which was invented by himself.
“Speaking of promises, where are the women? I see that the Lamborghini has been gone all day.”
“Who knows, they might have fled?” Galfo smiled at the thought. “I wonder what Arnold and Macony are doing?”
“Hardly anything has changed with them. Arnie is dead drunk somewhere, and he is trying for twenty minutes to call Mac to take him home.”
“Ah yes, drunken Arnold,” both leaned back and looked at the sunset with a hint of nostalgia.
“You know what has been gnawing me lately?”
There were several minutes of silence and Leo finally decided to ask, “What’s gnawing you?”
“Nagged me,” continued Galfonino like there wasn’t a long pause, “that we gave a promise to a dear friend and never delivered it.”
Leo slightly narrowed his left eye and drank, “What are you implying?”
“Nothing, just, in my family, we don’t give empty promises.”
“I am your family. If Ernak needed us, he would say so!”
“The Chief hardly knows when he might need help. Still, it won’t hurt us to check. We both know how...”
“What about the women?”
“We will tell them we’re going on a business trip in Helsinki.”
“What about Mac and Arnie? They two are part of the organization. They’ll smell something!”
“It’s easy, we will take them with us.”
“Are you crazy?”
“I don’t see where the problem is? Arnie has trained fencing, and Mac was a champion in throwing a spear.”
“Wow, they come out better qualified than us. They will need hard workouts to clean their blood from all the alcohol,” Leo laughed.
“Well, let’s find them and see what they say?!” grinned Galfonino.
Several hours later, "the former" gangsters found Mac and his partner in a bar in Sydney downtown. Arnold was focused on a bottle of whiskey and was talking to it alone at the bar. Macony was dancing about ten meters away with two whores. The time travelers sat on both sides of Arnold.
“Are you ready to sober up?”
“I was born ready!” The drunkard smiled and drank the cup in a single gulp. “Let me just finish this bottle.”
“There’s no time for that. Decide now. You will finish the whiskey or join the greatest adventure of your life?”
Arnie turned slowly to Leo, then more slowly to Galfonino. He looked with his drunk eyes, swayed and fainted.
“I think that was a yes?” Grinned the Italian.
An hour later, he woke up under the cold jets of water in the bathroom of the hotel room. Now sobered up and half-frozen, he threw a towel on himself and joined the others who were impatiently waiting for him.
“If that is one of those interventions where your relatives meet and put you into a rehabilitation center to quit alcohol and drugs, you should know that I have no problems with them.”
They all laughed violently.
“I think I haven’t seen you more scared. Sit down here. Leo and Galfo have to tell us something important. And do not worry, you will not ha
ve to give up alcohol.”
Arnie relaxed and took a chair.
“Where do I begin?” Scratched his head Cassis. “You remember Ernak, right? He was with us in Singapore? Actually, he is the son of Attila The Khan.”
Arnold casually leaned back in his chair and stared at Leo, as well as he wouldn’t even stare at a 60-year whiskey from his favorite brand.
“Let me finish,” the gangster continued. “When we met each other, you helped us leave the country. Which we did. We got a small four-seater plane somewhere along the way and flew to Bulgaria. But just before we got there, our fuel was over, and we had to land forcedly. So we landed, sort of speak, in some rocks with caves around. We decided to spend the night there, but at one time Galfonino went into the cave to relieve and fell into a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, we found...”
Here the Italian cleared his throat...
“Okay, fine, Capone found a strange machine, which resembled a flying saucer.”
“Gee whiz,” bounced Arnold, “I think I’m permanently drunk. Even a shower won’t work anymore.”
“Relax, you’re sober!” The Italian comforted him and continued. “So, after a while, Leo arrived too, and we entered the machine. I pushed 2-3 buttons, but nothing happened. Some time passed, and we decided to go out, unsuspecting what so ever. It turned out that we were teleported many years ago, at the time of Attila, or more precisely, we went back to 453. We got out, we met Ernak, who was scouting. Weeks later, we teleported in Singapore. You know well what happened there. Once you got us out of prison, we teleported into 1944 and met Hitler. The circumstances happened so that we all went back to the wild west. Remember how you said one cowboy from the western novels you were reading amazingly looked like me and even had a partner called Leo? In fact, it’s us. Then we decided that the machine could do something bad because we watched too many movies about time travel and we decided to get things back to the way they were. So we returned Ernak, and left Hitler in Argentina since he turned out to be one of the many doubles of the dictator. But then we decided otherwise. Leo and I teleported in 1928, to the time of my great grandfather Al Capone, and we founded a small organization in New York. We made a big score with diamonds in South America, from where our millions came, which you think are from drugs.”
Followedbrief silence. Arnold got up, took a cup and filled it to the brim with water, then drank it all, probably imagining that it was vodka...
“The reason we gather here in this dark hour for history is the following. When we were at Ernak’s, in his time, his father was poisoned shortly before we left, we promised to help him afterward to get revenge on the Romans and the rebelling tribes. That’s it. The question is, are you with us or not?”
Macony looked for a time as an Albanian goat herd in a computer lab. Arnold again fell into lethargy like Uncle John after a night shift.
“So let’s see if I understand correctly?” Spoke Arnie finally. “You have a time machine, and you want to return to Attila and fight with Genghis Khan?”
“With the Romans,” corrected him Capone. “Genghis Khan lived nearly 770 years later. But you grasped the idea.”
“And weapons?” asked the drunkard again.
“Spears, bows, swords... Kalashnikov...”
“I have a question?” Intervened Macony.
“Ask us, that’s why we are here.”
“Who is Attila?”
They blinked hard.
“It would not be a bad idea to take a history textbook too,” Arnold laughed. “To refresh our memory.”
“Does that mean you’re with us?”
“You do not even have to ask. Murders, debauchery, drinking, and eating, they can even declare me a chief.”
There was a harsh laugh…
“What about your women?”
“We’ll tell them that we are working in Europe…”
Chapter II
Two days later, they flew over the Black Sea with their private jet. The group landed at the Varna airport and headed towards the time machine. The cave where it was located was cluttered, but there was another tunnel.
Soon, all four stood in front of it. Mac and Arnold could not believe their eyes and blinked as if they were hypnotized.
“Did you gave her a name?” Macony asked jokingly.
“Of course. It’s called "The Rack",” answered Galfonino.
“Ah, rack, rack. Big things await!” Arnold hugged the machine like he was hugging a forty year year old Johny Walker.
“So, how are we going to find Ernak?”
“We will teleport 20 seconds after the last time we left.”
“Genius, what are we waiting for? Romans, save your booze and women. Arnold "The Great" is coming...”
The group entered the machine and spun the counter.
“Was that it?” Arnold asked in surprise. “I haven’t even settled comfortably!”
Minutes later, everybody was outside the cave. Ernak had apparently noticed them and was already wiping his tears.
“So what, did you think we’d forget you?”
A few hugs stopped the conversation for a while, then Leo explained to the chief the reason behind the unexpected visit.
* * *
Looking into the stream, using it as a mirror, absorbed in his own thoughts, Ernak was straightening his braid, “… My father died. My brothers are pressed firmly. How to fuck off the Romans? ...”
He turned backward and saw Leo, whose eyes were staring at the Condor. The Sock had already arranged the things in his brain. How comely was his expression. His lower lip was so sagging that resembled a statue of Hermes.
“ ... What would benefit the clans of the upcoming events? I know that myBulgarian friend is a genius,” witha straddle legs on the rock, scratching his balls, vague thoughts passed through Capone’s tense head.
“I’m sad!” thought Arnold. “My anguish is endless. Watching them, scattered along the slope, thinking, thinking, and would hardly remember that there is no whiskey what so ever.”
And the condor that Leo had been watching still hovered above the highest peak. Rocks spilled symmetrically as if they were placed by God’s hands. He circled and circled over Macony.
“Fuck. Will it hit me if it takes a shit?” Macony wondered aloud about the bird. “Does the smell attract it? Doesn’t it see that I’m alive? I’m just shitting,” continued to talk quietly, squatting on the rocks.
The five entered the Hun capital in Pannonia, led by the guard. Leo reminded Ernak to send pigeons. Naturally, the drinking was big. It went into history tonight. The love of the people for the youngest son of The Khan was great.
The pigeons that arrived in the designated villages carried letters that informed about the actions provided by Ernak. From every town where a pigeon came flew away dozens, spreading the news through the entire empire. Only a week later and the valleys around the capital deafened of arriving crowds, sound of drums and army. The sons of Attila rallied. Their greed for power and gold united them. Each waited like a hyena for the others to make a mistake. For this, they wanted to see Ernak’s plan. From their spies, they realized that he was surrounded by people with amazing abilities. Everyone was smiling slyly.
The meeting of the sons of The Khan in the big hall in the palace of Attila was limited. Everyone was at the table with their closest advisors. The men looked crude and focused. The silence was heavy. First spoke The new Khan, the eldest of the sons, “Our horses are tough! Our arrows are sharp! We are many, and we are strong! Our ancestors were born on the battlefield! Who are we?”
“Huns!” yelled everybody.
“Ernak,” continue The Khan, “you’re my youngest brother. Your idea to gather together and hit the enemy is also mine. But how will you convince us that you can take revenge on Rome and its allies with the help of only a handful of people?”
Ernak pointed at Leo, who then jumped up and stepped forward. He rolled with two somersaults and simultaneously used both his feet to ki
ck the guard in the back who flew out. Then The Sock spun around, poking into his robe and with a quick movement threw two knives simultaneously, as one faster than his shadow, which pierced the body of the man behind The Khan. It was his "right hand". Ernak had heard that he was cursing about him behind his back and was just looking for a reason to kill him.
Everything happened so fast that The Khan was stirring in his pants because of confusion to draw his sword, he remained speechless in a posture, after seeing the reverse somersaults of Leo, who proceeded to pick up his knives.
“Sure, we could have died,” said the eldest brother, ignoring the death of his best man, knowing the love of the people for Ernak, “but I have such people too. Every Roman will pay for the tricks.”
“Great Khan, my brother, "You fucking chump",” thought Ernak and continued aloud, “with their magic, my people can do so that the Roman legions will flee. After them only corpses will remain and the death of our father will have been avenged!”
The Khan looked at him and said, “Brave words, but how? Are they true?”
Ernak stood up and politely asked him to follow him. On the yard, the elite personal warriors of The Khan mentioned above were lined up and waiting. The youngest brother whispered something in the ear of The Sock and urged his brother to watch.
In a sign given by the chief, Arnie, Mac and Capone joined Leo. They stood in a line, removed each Kalashnikov from their shoulders and, after about ten seconds of a monotonous and sinister sound, no word, no cry, no groan. From a hundred corpses, no one moved.
The brother of the chief paled. The terrible sound made the whole army in the distance to keep quiet. The personal guard of professional killers of The Khan had been removed. His hair was goosey like at a rock concert. His legs went limp as а Bulgarian national soccer player during the second half. Arnold stumbling brought him a cup full of wine, “Bro, have some wine, it’ll make you feel better.”
