Taming Sebastian (Sawson's Royal College Book 2) Page 4

by Bella Anthony

“Ugh!” I push away from him and slide to the other end of the booth. “Not helping!”

“Okay!” He laughs. “I’m not just a piece of meat you know.”

“Ha!” I throw a fry at him, which he easily catches and eats.

  Chapter 3

I’m tying my hair in a messy ponytail to finish off my look. I’m wearing skintight jeans with a strapless black top and black heels to better meet Sebastian’s height. My cleavage is pushed up and my eyes are smoky. I want to look good tonight. I want him to want me more than he’s ever wanted anyone before. My body tingles when I think about what’s going to happen in a few hours.

Selena’s not coming tonight, so it’s just me and Alayna, a close friend I met during freshman year. I give her a call once I’m done getting dressed.

“Hi!” I say when she answers. “You ready?”

“Well, I’m not planning to get laid tonight. So, I’m not getting changed. Better question is, are you ready? Condoms, lube, whips, and chains? Got it all?”

“Ha-ha.” I retort sarcastically. “Yeah, got it all.” I cringe thinking about it, hopefully Sebastian’s not into any of that.

“Great.” Alayna replies laughing. “Yeah, I’m ready. Meet you in five?”

“Sure, see you soon.” I hang up and grab my purse before heading out.

We get to the party fifteen minutes later. I told him I’d be there at eleven, but I’m an hour early. I couldn’t help myself.

“Should I call him or something?” I ask Alayna outside the massive house.

“Do you think you should? We can also go inside and find him.”

“I don’t know! Alayna, what do I do?”

“Oh wow.” She turns me so we’re facing each other. “Just be yourself. Let go of all the nerves. He wants you and you want him. If you call him first or walk in, it won’t make a difference.”

  I take in deep breaths.

“Okay. How about this. We go inside, have a couple of drinks, calm you down, then we find him, okay?” Alayna says, sensing my inner turmoil.

“You’re the best Alayna, yes please!”

We walk into the house and it is packed. It’s mostly Sebastian’s friends and none of ours. I look around but don’t see him.

“Come on.” Alayna grabs my hand and leads us to the bar. We make ourselves gin-tonics before continuing our search for Sebastian. “Let’s dance!” I grin and follow her to the dance floor.

During the second song, two guys approach us. They’re both brunettes, but one has green eyes, while the other has brown.

“Hey ladies, I haven’t seen you at my parties before.” Green eyes says.

“Hey, yeah. It’s our first time.” Alayna responds. “I’m Alayna.” She shakes their hands.

  “I’m Isabel.” I add.

“I’m Stanley,” green eyes introduces, “and this is Lewis. Do you want to dance with us?”

Alayna grins and takes Lewis’s hand to dance with him.

“So, want to dance?” Stanley asks me.

“Umm, that’s all right. I’m actually looking for someone.”

  “Who?”

  “Sebastian.”

He laughs and drags a hand through his hair. “I guess you’re taken for the night then. I saw him in the kitchen.”

  “Thanks, I think.”

“Anytime.” He smiles. “Let me know if you want anything and you’re always welcome to my parties. Oh, and the kitchen’s the last door on the right.”

I walk there, open the door, and shove myself through the crowd of people.

Going to the other side of the room, I take a look around and smile when I see him. He’s leaning against the kitchen counter, holding a beer and looking sexy as sin. I bite my lip and shake my head in awe when I take him in. How can someone be so sexy? He’s wearing another baseball cap, a black fitted t-shirt, jeans, and converse. Simple, yet he oozes sexiness and manliness. He laughs at something someone says, and my smile widens at the carefree sound. I follow his gaze and my smile falls when I see he’s talking to a girl. A girl who’s clearly flirting with him – shoving her cleavage in his face.

I don’t like seeing him talking to her, but I have no claim to him. Regardless, it doesn’t stop the jealousy I’m feeling. They’re just talking, I tell myself. But she is trying to get his attention, flirting with him, touching him as they continue their conversation.

  Back off!

The intensity of my jealousy is foreign to me. I now understand why he was jealous of Gary.

I take a few breaths to compose myself and approach. As I near, she closes the distance between them and places her arms around his neck. He retaliates by holding her around the hips. I stand still as I witness what’s happening in front of me.

Seriously? He invites me to a party, knowing we’re going to have sex later, and I find him flirting with other girls?

She leans up to kiss him, but he dodges her mouth so that her lips land on his cheek.

“Sebastian.” She basically moans with her fake porn star voice. “I was thinking you and I can go somewhere alone, and you know, talk.” She arches her back and trails a finger down his chest.

My heart speeds up as I wait for his response.

“I would love to Misty, but I have to go do a couple of things first. How about I find you later?”

Am I meant to be the ‘couple of things’? Is he really planning to sleep with me and then her?

“Promise?” Her fingers reach the bottom of his abdomen. He grabs her hand to stop her advance and smirks.

He shakes his head with a smile and turns to walk away. He takes two steps before spotting me. His facial expression immediately turns lustful and although that appeases me for a second, I’m still annoyed. He takes my hand and pulls us into a corridor, away from the crowded kitchen. Pushing me against the wall, he leans down and licks up the curve of my neck.

“You’re here.” He says, trailing his hands up and down my arms. I stand there, still shocked. “I can’t wait. I need you. Let’s just lea- what the fuck?” I cut him off with a shove and rush to the living room. I push myself forcibly in between people to find Alayna and leave. It doesn’t matter that we’re not in a committed anything. Being with him now would make me feel cheap and I refuse to feel cheap again because of a man.

“What the fuck? Come here!” Sebastian shouts, but I ignore him. In my rush, I bump into someone massive.

“Woah.” An arm snakes around me. A guy holds me and doesn’t let go even though I’m stable now.

“You lost, darling?” The stranger asks and leans in. I roll my eyes but before I can respond, an arm snatches me backward and shoves the stranger on the chest hard. Instead of providing an explanation to the guy, Sebastian pulls me behind him.

“Let go of me!” I shout on top of the blaring music. He looks down at me astonished. Yeah, what did he expect after I heard him promise to fuck another girl after me?

He pulls me forcibly through a door and into an empty hallway.

“What the fuck, Isabel? What’s wrong with you?” He asks, looking at me like I’m crazy.

“What’s wrong with me? What’s wrong is that I arrive here, see you with another girl and hear you telling her you’ll find her later. What’s wrong is that you were literally planning to fuck her right after fucking me!”

“Are you serious?” He shouts. “That’s why you’re pissed? You can’t be serious.”

“Of course, I am! I came here tonight, for you!” I shove his chest, but he doesn’t budge. “And the first thing I see is your hands on another girl, promising you’ll see her later. What? Are you going fuck her after fucking me? There’s no way in hell I will sleep with a guy who plans to sleep with another girl right afterward!” I shove his chest again.

“Oh wow.” He rakes his hand through his hair. “I knew I shouldn’t have gotten into this with you.”

  “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You! You’re already acting like a jealous
girlfriend!” He shouts, pointing at me accusingly.

I scoff. “You’re quite conceited to think I’d want you as my boyfriend in the first place. Second of all, we agreed to sleep together, no commitments, I get it. But there’s no way I’m going to sleep with someone who’s planning to be with someone else right afterward. I have too much self-respect for that.” I turn to walk away but he grabs me from behind and pushes me against the wall, trapping me so that his chest is pressed against my back. One arm holds me hostage around the waist and I feel every exhale of his fast breath on my neck.

“Look.” He says more calmly. “I had no intention to fuck her or contact her at all. Never touched her and I don’t plan to. I was just being nice.” He leans down and presses a soft kiss to my neck.

“Yeah right. Let me go.” I say, ignoring the sizzle developing in my body.

“No. I’m being serious, I wasn’t going to.” He whispers huskily, trailing his hand up and down from my waist to my hip, while placing soft kisses on my neck, tasting me with his tongue. My body heats up and vibrates in need. He grabs my hips and pulls me to his pelvis as he grinds into me. Oh god! I suppress my moan.

“I-I don’t believe you.” I say huskily. “Let me go.” I’ve been made a fool by David way too many times, believed his sweet words. I won’t be made a fool again.

“You promised me tonight, give me tonight.” He says through clenched teeth as he continues rubbing his cock against my ass, driving me crazy.

“And you promised Misty tonight as well.” I find my voice moments later. “I don’t know you to trust your intentions. News flash! Men are assholes. I wanted you. But I refuse to be one out of three in a night.” That happened with Daniel before. After sleeping with me, he slept with another girl at the same party. I hated myself then. I felt less than scum. Remembering that moment and how I felt, I find the strength to turn and push him away.

“I won’t beg, Isabel.” He spits out angrily. I hate that I’m ending this. But I can’t go through with it. Not when he promised to contact Misty later. Not when he’s all I’ve been thinking about and he’s been flirting with other girls.

“I don’t need you to beg. I just don’t want to see you in the arms of another girl the day we were meant to be physical together. Sex means a lot to me. It’s just … not right. How would you feel if you saw a guy hugging me close, our bodies touching as I promised to fuck him later on tonight?”

His jaw clenches in obvious anger. My point is made.

“Bye Sebastian.” Against my body’s wishes, I walk away.

  Chapter 4

The next morning, my phone wakes me up.

“Hello?” I answer gruffly, still half asleep.

“Isa! I’ve been knocking on your door for ages. Where the hell are you and Selena?”

“Hey Alayna. I’m coming one sec, and Selena is probably still banging Jax.” Alayna laughs in response.

“Wow, some kind of reunion.” I hear her response and hang up to open the door.

“Yep, making up for lost time.” I yawn and stretch my arms upwards. Opening my eyes, I see her holding two Starbucks coffees.

“You are officially the best person I’ve ever met.” I grab one and head to my room.

“In that case, you’re easily won over.” She sits on my chair as I sit cross-legged on the bed.

“So, any reason you woke me up this early?”

“Well, I thought you left with Sebastian last night, but I saw him and couldn’t find you anywhere. Then he left so I just wanted to make sure you’re okay and get the scoop!”

“Was he alone when you saw him?”

“No, pretty sure I saw him with some guy … Thomas or something. Isa, what happened?”

I recount the events of last night while drinking my coffee.

“Yeah, I kind of get why you didn’t hook up with him. It’s one thing to hook up and be ignorant to who else he’s hooking up with, but it’s another thing if it’s shoved blatantly in your face. I wouldn’t feel great either.”

“Exactly. Alayna, I just feel so stupid.”

“I’m sorry this happened. I know you were very excited for your vagina.”

“Too excited! My poor vagina.” I laugh out loud. “I never expected him not to flirt or talk to other girls. But is it too much to ask for him not to flirt and promise sex on the same night we’re meant to be hooking up?”

“He actually said yes when she asked him to meet later?”

I put my cup to the side as I remember exactly what happened. “Well no. But he didn’t say no either. He just smirked and walked away. And thinking about it … when he held her, it kind of kept her away cause I’m sure she would’ve humped his body if he hadn’t. God, now I don’t know if I was being psycho. My head’s all muddled up. It doesn’t matter, it just felt sleazy to me.” I’m worried that I’m letting my past experiences dictate my current situation but regardless, if I don’t feel good about something, I won’t do it.

“How about, we have a boy-less Sunday? Eat a lot of food and watch funny movies? Let’s go to mine to give the happy couple some privacy?”

“Yes! Can we please watch 10 things I hate about you?”

  “Can we watch Saw instead?”

“No!” I throw a pillow at her.

  “Fine.” She rolls her eyes.

  ***

I come home later that night and see Selena rummaging in the fridge. “Hey girl.”

“Isa! Hey, Jax is napping and I want to make us something to eat but we have nothing!”

“We haven’t been grocery shopping in a while. I’ll go later and get some stuff. So, you and Jax back on?”

She looks up at me and blushes.

“Yeah, I don’t even know why I’m asking! All that banging and screaming. I’m jealous!” I laugh out loud.

“Oh god!” She says and hides her face in her hands. “How much did you hear?”

“I’m pretty sure I heard every word. Apparently, you like it hard, don’t you baby?” I say the last bit in a manly voice, imitating Jax.

She laughs out loud and throws an apple at me, which I dodge.

“She does like it hard, don’t you baby?” I hear from behind me and I jump up in surprise. How is he so quiet?

“Jax!” I scold, holding my palm over my heart. “How do you do that? I swear you always pop up out of nowhere, unseen and unheard. Are you sure you’re not half ghost?”

He smirks in response then heads straight to Selena. “Hi baby.” He whispers before leaning down to kiss her. I begin to walk away, but Selena stops me. “Wait! How’s everything with you? We haven’t spoken properly all weekend. Jax, give me some time?”

“Fine,” he leans down to kiss her nose, “don’t take too long. I’m going to shower.”

Selena and I have dinner together and I debate telling her about Sebastian, but something holds me back. Instead, I tell her about the issues I’m facing with the charity I volunteer at. I’m meant to be organizing a fundraiser, but I have no clue where to start.

“Oh, we can work on it together. Set up a meeting with the group and we can bounce ideas back and forth.” She says and I plan to do just that.

I keep Sebastian a secret. Mostly because nothing has really happened. Promising to go to the grocery store since she went the last two times, I head to my room to grab my purse. Oh crap. Where is it? I look everywhere and a few moments later, I realize where it is. I left it on the couch at the party last night.

Damn it. I really wanted to chill in after the grocery store. I’ll just go over there and get it.

I call Alayna and she immediately picks up.

  “Miss me already?”

“Terribly.” I respond. “We need to go to Stanley’s house.”

  “Why?”

  “I left my purse there.”

“I’ll come, but if Sebastian’s there and you guys end up blowing up and having sex in front of me, I’m out.”

“Aww, you don’t want to watch me in action?”
I ask sweetly.

  “Ew, Isa, just no.”

“Fine, your loss. But thanks for saying yes, love you, and besides, what are the chances Sebastian is there again?”

“A party? Another freaking party?” Alayna complains as I drag her through Stanley’s door. And yes, he’s having another party.

“I had no clue!” Alayna and I are matching in yoga pants and tank tops. But that is definitely not what people are wearing tonight. Girls are in tight dresses, heels, perfect make-up, and hair.
