The Princess, the Dragon, and the Frog Prince Page 7

by Elisabeth Waters

Jan nodded. “That was the first half of my part of the bargain. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to send you home.”

I don’t want to send you anywhere, she realized suddenly. I don’t want to lose you. I love you. But I did promise, and I keep my promises.

Florian bent his head and kissed her. To Jan’s relief he remained in human form—she had been half-afraid that if he kissed her again he’d turn back into a frog. “My love,” he said firmly, “I am home.”
