"No you don't, not yet …" She was so wet, but he couldn’t let her go just yet. If they were going to do this, he wanted them to explode together. He wanted this to last.
There was so much more he wanted to do to her. He let her legs fall to the floor as he stood up. Looking into her eyes, he saw fire. Pure heat. He picked her up and moved her to the bed.
Gia's eyes were wide and dark, full of lust. He stood in front of her as she unbuckled his belt, un-zipped his slacks and let them drop to the floor.
Her eyes raked over his body. This was the Gia, full of passion and desire, which kept him awake at night.
Patrick stepped out of his shoes and pulled down his boxers. His erection sprung to attention. Gia's breathing picked up at the sight of him. A timid grin appeared as she ran her tongue over her lips.
Patrick flashed her a smirk, knowing she wanted to touch him. "Go ahead," he encouraged.
He gasped as her delicate fingers wrapped around his hardness. It turned into a groan as she lowered her mouth on him.
"Oh god, Gia …" Patrick pulled her away. "Damn, baby, I don't want you to stop, but …" He had thought about this for a full three hundred and sixty-five days; he knew everything he wanted to do to her. She was his for tonight, and he needed to make the most out of it.
Laying her down, he slid his body onto hers. He stopped to kiss her thighs and tease her moist center. He kissed her tiny waist, god how he loved her figure. His mouth found her breasts, taking the time to taste each of them. She arched her back in a seductive response as his tongue circled her taut nipples.
His hips aligned with hers, fitting together like they were made for each other. Gia gazed up at him. Desire had removed any doubts. Taking her mouth in his, he bit at her bottom lip as he pressed his hard length inside of her.
"Oh god …" Gia moaned, clutching at the sheets.
Patrick took it slow; he had waited so long for this. He knew it very well might be the last time he felt her. His heart never wanted her to leave, but his brain knew differently. He wanted to memorize every second and cherish every touch, every taste. Little by little, he filled her. Keeping control, their bodies moved in a slow, melodic rhythm.
He kissed her neck and she arched her hips into his. The sensation took him by surprise, and his teeth grazed her skin.
Gia's nails sunk into his shoulders with each thrust.
"Harder … harder …" she begged.
He sat up on his knees, smiling as he pulled her onto his lap. "Here, sweet thing, wrap those sexy legs around me." As she did, he grabbed her hips and pulled her body close to him. He slammed his cock into her, harder and harder, just like she asked.
"Oh God … yes …" she called out breathlessly as her nails dug into him. "More …"
His mouth fiercely took over hers. His tongue danced with hers. Patrick quickened his pace, moved into her harder and faster and groaned against her mouth.
He stiffened his back and thrust into her. A groan formed at the back of his throat. He bit his lip trying to hold out.
"God, Patrick …" she screamed as he buried himself in her warmth.
He couldn't wait any longer. He moved into her one more time before spilling himself deep inside her. She let out a cry as her body shuttered, coming undone, and she fell into his arms.
Patrick collapsed onto the bed still holding Gia. His fingers slid along her flushed cheek, moving her tangled damp hair out of her face. Damn, she was beautiful.

Patrick woke to the sound of laughter in the hallway. He glanced at the clock; it was still early evening, not quite eight o'clock yet. The room was dark, except for the light by the bathroom. Gia slept next to him, her breathing heavy and her naked body cuddled up in the covers. He hoped she wouldn't regret this because he sure didn't. He wanted to make love to her every night, not just a once a year tryst while Ty was away.
It didn't feel wrong. The way she had touched him; she wanted him as much as he wanted her. They worked. If it wasn't for Ty, ‘they’ would be a real possibility.
He couldn't resist the urge to feel her. Sliding his hand under the covers, he gently ran it along her warm, naked body. He stopped to caress her breasts before he continued down. She stirred a little at his touch, and he softly took one of her breasts in his mouth. His hands continued to wander. Before he reached her thigh, he heard a muffled moan. She was awake, a sleepy smile on her face. Would she dash out of bed or wake up and enjoy his touch? Lucky for him, she didn’t run.
Patrick bit at her nipple, causing her to groan loudly as she ran her nails down his shoulders. His hand found its destination between her legs. She muffled another moan as he dipped a finger inside her. Then another. Still sucking at her nipple, he slid his fingers in farther.
She twisted under him, matching his movements.
"God, sweet thing, you feel so good," he whispered. He loved touching her, loved making her moan. She was already so wet; she had him at full attention, and he itched to be in her again.
With her naked body laid out before him, she shyly smiled. "Don't stop," she whispered, biting her bottom lip.
Patrick still had other plans for her. He was already completely hard at the sheer need in her voice. But his needs would have to wait. Moving his hand from her warmth, he slid his body down her midsection.
Throwing her head back, Gia let out a gasp.
Patrick whispered, "You know you can trust me." With that he tasted her, lapping at her warm center. She tasted like heaven, he couldn't get enough of her sweetness.
"Oh … Patrick …" she cried out, clawing at the bed. Her hips arched to him.
Patrick didn't want to stop, and the way she thrashed around drove him over the edge. He wanted to explode, and he wanted to do it inside her, with her.
Abruptly pulling away, he crawled up her body until he was on top of her. He used the headboard to steady himself as he thrust his hard cock deep inside her.
Gia whimpered. "Patrick …" Pushing her hips close to his, he slammed into her. Not being able to hold on any longer, he came hard inside her, making her come at the same time. Her body quivered uncontrollably as she moaned.
Damn, she felt good. He never wanted this to end. He stretched out beside her and pulled her into a hard kiss. Sweeping her warm mouth with his tongue, his thumb gently caressed her cheek. He finally allowed her to pull away and snuggle into him. He held her against his chest and stroked her warm body.
Patrick caught a glimpse of her smiling face. She lay peacefully with her delicate fingers curled around his chest hair, her nails occasionally scraping at his skin.
Her eyes fluttered shut and she fell fast asleep. Patrick knew she was tired, and knew this would probably all fall apart in the morning. A good night’s sleep would be a good idea for both of them.
As he lay awake watching her, his stomach ached at the thought of her reaction in the morning. He didn't want her to regret this or shut him out again. But if she didn't, then what exactly would that mean for them and for Tyler?
CHAPTER 7
PATRICK
Gia was still sleeping when Patrick woke. Quietly watching her, he knew this might all be over as soon as reality hit. He felt a twinge of remorse for taking Tyler's girl, but only a twinge. She obviously wanted him just as much. He kept telling himself that Ty was just a kid; he had so much more to offer her.
Gia yawned. He watched longingly as she stirred a little. Placing a soft kiss on her shoulder, he held her warm body close to his.
Slowly she opened her eyes and looked at him; her lips curved into a smile. She snuggled close. As if she knew what he was thinking, she said, "Just hold me for now, okay? As long as we stay right here, under these covers, I don't need to worry about what happens next."
"Oh, we can stay under the covers all day, definitely …"
Patrick placed another soft kiss on her shoulder, and then propped his head up on his hand. His other arm wrapped around her bare waist. He smiled as their lips met. When Gi
a ran her fingers through his hair, he kissed her harder.
He shoved his tongue into her mouth, a quiet moan rumbling against his lips. Abruptly, Gia pulled back. She stared at him with wide eyes. "Wait, we need to check out …" She looked at the clock, "in an hour! We better get mov–"
"Don't worry, we'll pay for another day," Patrick said calmly. He stroked her soft cheek and ran his thumb over her bottom lip.
"Patrick, I can't afford another day."
Patrick grabbed the phone and dialed the front desk. "Hi, this is Patrick Dubois … yes, from the Renegades ... yes … I'm good, and how are you? … Good to hear … yes, I'm sure you are a big fan … that's wonderful, so glad to hear it ... okay … thank you ... Anyway, I will be paying for Miss Torella's room, and I don't think we will be checking out today after all … yes … hang on and I will get my card number for you." He slid out of bed, grabbed his wallet, and read off his credit card numbers. "Thanks … you too."
He looked over at Gia. "There, no worries now."

GIA
Gia watched Patrick slide back into bed beside her. She wasn't sure whether to be relieved or stressed over his plan to spend the whole day with her. The second they left this room she had to deal with the reality of what she had done. Staying here was easier than confronting reality.
Patrick leaned over and pressed his mouth against hers. Closing her eyes, she traced her tongue over his lips. Her hands tangled in his hair. He was so sexy, every cocky ass smile drove her body wild. She probably could've gone one more round last night had it not been for the alcohol.
"Gia ..." Patrick moaned as he slid on top of her. His warm, hard body pressed against hers.
Her phone buzzed, alerting her of a text message
"Ignore it ..." Patrick mumbled as his lips caressed her skin.
"But it might be Kat."
Patrick moved off her so she could roll over and grab her phone. As she looked at the screen, her breath caught, choking her. "It's Tyler!"
"It's just a text, Gia. It's not like Tyler is at the door."
Hey, baby, got to Alberta okay. Miss you. I'll try to call later today or tomorrow. Love you. Gia sighed.
"Do you really love him?" Patrick asked as he lay back on the pillows, his fingers laced behind his head.
Gia put her phone down and curled up beside him. "Yeah, I do." I do love Tyler, yet I’m still here with Patrick. What the hell is the matter with me? Her brain told her to leave, but her body still refused to listen.
He ran his hand from her shoulder down to her hip. He grabbed her ass and pulled her closer to him. "You know, I have dreamed about this round ass ever since Kris had that pool party, and you walked around in that black bikini …" Patrick smiled as he reminisced. "God, how I love this ass …"
"Oh really?" Gia perked up. She grinned, and against her better judgment, pushed her current predicament to the far corners of her mind.
"Yeah," he said and grabbed her ass again.
Gia turned her face away from Patrick so he didn’t see her confused state. Her mind raced. What am I doing?
"Patrick …" Gia began as she stared into the darkness. She put herself in this position; she needed to put on her big girl pants and deal with it. "You know when we leave this room, it is over. Right? We can't do this to Tyler."
"I hear your words, but you are still in bed with me …" Patrick slid his hand around her bare waist and pulled her body close to his.
His fingers teased her moist center causing her to lose her train of thought for a moment.
"Patrick, I love Tyler. I don't place any blame on you for this, it was my mistake this time." She grimaced. "I don't mean mistake, I really don't. Patrick, I fought you off for so long because if I hadn't been with Ty, I would've wound up here a year ago and never left. But we can't do this, it's just not right."
"I know." Patrick kissed her shoulder. "But for now we are here, together. We don't need to talk to anyone or go anywhere. Just stay with me for a little longer," he begged, his large hands caressing her body.

TYLER
I can't wait to see you. I've missed you, he typed into his phone. It felt like he had been away forever. All he could think about was getting home to Gia.
Minutes passed before she finally answered. I've missed you too.
Too busy to answer any of my calls? JK
He added the just kidding but really wasn't. What the hell had she been doing that she couldn't answer his calls? Deep down, he hoped she was off doing girly things like getting a manicure or pedicure, maybe getting her hair done or maybe even working. Of course, his brain wandered to other less desirable things she might be out doing. Or who. But he trusted her, and she wouldn't break that trust again.
Putting his full attention on his training may not have been the best decision for his relationship. His career, on the other hand, demanded it. As the team captain, he needed to lead by example. Gia knew that.
She was taking a long time to respond to his last text. Looking at his watch, he wouldn't land for another hour. He wanted to go home and settle in, but seeing Gia seemed much more important now. He needed to show her how much he had missed her and make her his number one priority. At least until the season started.
Now that he was back, he had to convince her to move in with him so he would have more time to devote to her.
CHAPTER 8
GIA
Gia circled the living room for the fourth time. She paced the room. Two weeks of training turned into four, but it went by quickly. She had kept herself busy with work. The extra shifts she had picked up kept her far away from Patrick. She needed time to think, and that meant no Patrick. But now Tyler was coming home and on his way here from the airport. Her stomach hurt; she had made a real mess out of things and needed to tell someone. She picked up her cell phone and dialed her friend Trish.
"G? What's up? I can't talk, I'm waiting to get my nails done," Trish said when she answered her phone.
"Trish, I did something bad … real bad ... I need to tell someone …" Gia whined into the phone. She felt so guilty and hoped admitting it to Trish would make her feel better, especially before talking to Tyler. "Trish … I messed up big time."
"Sounds serious. We aren't talking like jail time, are we?" Trish joked. Gia sat silent on the other end. "Okay, G, you need to tell me what happened. I don't read minds, ya know."
"Trish, I did it again. I did IT again …" Gia groaned.
"Wait, you don't mean that you–"
"Yes."
Trish paused, "Again?"
"I am such a horrible person … what am I going to do?" Gia dropped her head into her hands.
"G, I need to be sure we are talking about the same thing. You did what exactly?"
"Patrick," Gia said softly.
"Oh man, that's what I thought. Oh G … Have you told Ty?" Trish was always so sensible. That’s why Gia loved her; she was the best person to lean on.
"No, I am waiting for him right now. He will hate me." Gia hated herself right now.
"Oh G, I can't say I am surprised with the hold he has on you, and damn he is hot. Let's be honest. He has to be a good lay, I mean, has to be. Right?"
"Well, yes, he is that. But why would I cheat again? I mean, who does that kind of thing? Oh shit." Gia looked out her window and saw Tyler pull up in his dark gray Aston Martin. She loved that little sports car. He almost looked funny getting in and out of it because of his height. She moved away from the window and toward the door so she could buzz him in. She had went over in her mind what she would say to him, or when she would tell him. But suddenly her mind was blank. Her breathing quickened and she thought she might hyperventilate. "He's here, I gotta go …"
"G, slow down and just breathe, okay? Everything will work itself out, one way or another. Honesty is the best thing for everyone," Trish said, trying to console her. "Gia, everything happens for a reason, remember that," Trish added. "Call me if you need me."
She opened her door once she saw him walking down the hallway.
"Hey, cutie!" he called as he slid in the door with a pizza. He paused for a moment, his eyes falling to her short shorts. Tyler slid past her to go to the kitchen but not before he placed a kiss gently on her lips.
"Hungry?" he called as he pulled plates out of the cupboard.
Her stomach growled, refusing to be ignored. With her nerves shot and her stomach doing flip flops, she knew she still needed to eat. "Sure." They filled their plates and settled on the couch in front of the television.
"I sure missed this couch," Tyler said as he sunk into the softness of the worn black leather. He finished his first piece of pizza in three bites.
"Geesh, hungry much?" She giggled. It felt good to giggle. She really did miss him: the way he loved her junky furniture, the way he wolfed down his food, and the way his unruly hair curled around those hazel eyes when it got too long.
"Little bit …" He laughed as he downed his second piece. Gia still worked on her first, stalling the dreaded conversation as she watched Tyler get up to refill his plate. "You want another one?" he called as he walked to the kitchen.
"No, I'm good, thanks," she answered, feeling her stomach begin to churn. Her eyes wandered to his baggy jean shorts and brown t-shirt stretched snugly across his ab muscles. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw he returned the stare. She smiled and quickly looked down at her plate. Butterflies danced in her stomach as her body warmed. She still loved him.
Tyler polished off his third piece of pizza as he walked back to the couch. Gia grabbed her bottled water and took a drink, trying to wash down the lump in her throat and cool her libido. How does one handle feeling turned on and guilty all at the same time?
"All I could think about while I was gone was you …" Tyler took her face in his hands and pulled her towards him. "Baby, I missed you." Their lips met.
"Gia …" he mumbled against her lips, then pushed his tongue inside her mouth.
