Dissolute Resorts Las Vegas Page 8

We all joked about them moving out here and making Las Vegas our home base for now. Days filled with buying art and lounging by the pool and dazzling nights spent in the casinos or watching the many fabulous shows Vegas has to offer.

Sin City could be perfect for all of us until Darius and I start our family, I don’t imagine that being any time soon, but my soon to be husband tends to work fast. All through our late lunch his hands were on some part of my body, teasing me and warming me up for what I’d find later when we got back to our suite.

Before that though, we took to the strip. With Darius as our tour guide we saw everything. All the fountains that sprayed colorful bouts of magical water and the other beautiful hotels with their own casinos. We spent so much money and I lost every single one of my dirty pennies I put into the machines. No one but Darius won and he won big. Jackpot after jackpot, like he himself was some kind of lucky charm.

“You’re cheating.” Jimmy joked. “As a casino owner yourself, you know some kind of trick don’t you?”

“Nope.” Darius chuckled while sticking his winnings in my purse. “I guess it’s just having my Angel by my side as my lucky charm that’s bringing in the big bucks.”

“Sure, sure.” Jimmy chided. “You’ve rigged the system.”

After betting and drinking and more betting, Darius took us to a Cirque Du Soleil show that was so beautiful, even Lilly was speechless for most of it. My feet were sore even with all the alcohol in my system and on the last leg of the night, Darius carried me as we made our way back to the hotel.

In his suite, Darius showered with me. Carefully washing every inch of me, working my pussy until I came on his hands and then even massaging my back before washing my hair. I wanted to savor every second of his sweet touches and gentle caresses.

Then he dried me and even brushed out my hair before he made love to me until I was almost crying with the emotions rolling through me. His touches, his kisses, the slow stroke of his cock, every action spoke of his feelings for me. I was overwhelmed by his love and couldn’t wait to spend the rest of my life revealing in this kind of bliss.

  Epilogue.

  Lilly.

“I can’t believe we are doing this.” I say again for the ten thousandth time since Darius and Evie hacked up this crazy plan.

“Well, believe it punk ‘cause it’s happening.” Evie hip checks me as she carries another box past me and into the house. I’m standing on the lawn of my new home. Yup. New home. The place where I am going to live with my two guys. My gaze spans across the rocks and pebbles that lay in place of what the desert considers a lawn. I squint against the bright sun and look at the cookie cutter house next to mine where my best friend is going to live with her fiancé.

“I can’t believe this.” I mumble. The heat here in Vegas makes me feel like I’m standing in an oven and I’m unsure of why I agreed to this in the first place.

Oh, that’s right. Darius is a hard man to say no to. As soon as Evie said she wished we could be neighbors, BAM! Darius had a realtor on the job and it wasn’t but two months later that the houses were snatched off the market and Evie, Jimmy, and I were following moving trucks across the country. Lukas was here when we arrived, rocking in patio chairs, sharing a beer with Darius like he was already perfectly at home.

“Are you gonna help me or not?” Evie yells from inside my house. My eyes roll and I jog up the steps and onto the porch. The houses are perfectly matched in every way but how Evie and I will choose to decorate them.

We’ve lived together so long that being neighbors seemed like an easy transition stepping stone to her moving out. Honestly, I don’t know how I’d live without her. She’s in the kitchen putting our old flatware in a drawer. Darius wanted to buy everything Evie wanted for their home so I got to keep everything from our apartment, but combining three homes into one was proving to be tricky.

Falling in love with Lukas happened as quickly as Evie fell for Darius. One weekend and he was a drug I was addicted to. Jimmy and Lukas were just different enough to give me the best of both worlds. Where Jimmy was my safe place, Lukas was my spice and danger. We’d fallen easily into a groove that worked like a well-oiled machine. No matter how many nights had past they were still finding new ways to twist and turn my body for their pleasure and I’d never been happier.

I was no longer in control and taking things as I wanted. Well, inside the bedroom anyway. Outside of it I was still queen bitch and my boys spoiled me in ways I didn’t even know how to dream up.

Lukas actually didn’t live far from our old apartment and was more than willing to pack up his life in New Hampshire to try our little threesome for real. It was going to be one big fucking change from living with Evie to navigating about two big, sexy men. I wasn’t a hundred percent sure about Lukas but Jimmy always kept his place clean and tidy so I knew I wouldn’t be the only one keeping up the place.

Jimmy and Lukas both have different tastes and neither one matches mine when it comes to housing decor. That’s why I’ve thrown most of their things away. We have a big enough house that each of us can have our own rooms and bed hop as we choose. Along with three bedrooms we each have an office, a communal living room, and a man cave in the basement.

In other words, the house is more than perfect. “Don’t put those there!” I sass at Evie.

  “Why?”

“Because I get to pick the layout of this kitchen.” I giggle and shove her out of the way to pick up the forks and spoons and drop them into a different drawer. I don’t really care where they go, I just feel like being a pain in her ass.

“Oh, I thought if our layouts matched then we’d never be searching for things when we are over.” She winks and moves to empty out another box.

“You always were the smart one.” I tease her.

“Yup.” She grins. “This is going to be like a dream.”

“I hate to admit it but you’re right. Who would have thought I’d be fucking my best friend and his man while living next door to my other best friend and her billionaire fiancé?”

“Life’s funny like that, I guess?” “After we unpack are we talking wedding plans?” I tip my head to the side and eye Evie as I pull two beers out of the refrigerator, the only thing currently stocked inside, and pop the tops before passing one to Evie.

She accepts the beer and blows out a breath. “I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve never considered having a destination wedding. I mean, sure as a little girl I hoped to get married on the beach with pretty seashells by my toes but I never considered Greece!”

“I wish I knew how to help. Like are you just calling his secretary out there to get things planned and scheduled?” Evie looks at me sheepishly.

“I haven’t done anything.” She whispers and pours her beer down her throat. I lean on the island and blink slowly.

“You haven’t done…anything?” I don’t believe her. That’s impossible. They’ve set the wedding date for six months from now. Mid July. Evie doesn’t have much in way of family but all of Darius’ business associates are busy people, she should have at least picked a venue and sent out ‘save the date’ cards.

“Not. A. Fucking. Thing.” She exaggerates every word and slams the beer down on the counter, it froths up and spills down the sides to puddle on my new counter. Her face is a blank mask, a true ‘I don’t give a fuck’ look that makes me burst out in laughter.

“Well,” I hold up my hands and shake my head. My eyes are puddled with tears from laughing so hard. “I don’t even know what to say. Why haven’t you?”

She groans and rolls her head to the side. “I don’t know. Maybe I will ask him to just get married here. I don’t want something big with a ton of people I don’t know. It makes me feel sceebie.”

“You’re getting married in six months in a foreign country and you haven’t done shit in way of planning. Have you talked to Darius about it?

“If I do, he’ll just handle all the plans.” She pouts.

>   “How’s that bad?” I sip my beer and wipe my eyes with the back of my other hand.

“I just don’t know.” She sighs, deflating as she leans against the island, too.

“Stop it. Just talk to him. You know that man would give you the world if you said you wanted it. Tell him how you are feeling and figure it out with him.”

“But what if he thinks I’m stalling because I don’t want to marry him?” She bites at her nails and looks down at her feet. I move around the kitchen to wrap her in a hug.

“Evie, he wouldn’t. Do you just want me to help you plan instead?”

“Would you?” She holds me tightly and I let my hands rub her back gently.

“Duh, isn’t that what maid of honors are for?” She chuckles near my ear.

“Okay. Let’s plan the damn thing! A wedding in Greece with people we don’t know and the man of my dreams. Not everything can be perfect, right?

I let my arms move from around her back to hold her hands in mine. I clutch them tight and look deep in her eyes. Exactly.” I offer her a reassuring smile. “And to think it all started with a vacation you didn’t even wanna go on.”

  The End.
