by Haven Rose
“Yep.” Then I turn to the love of my life and admit, “I debated letting them off the hook, shredding my proof as I didn’t want to risk it hurting you. He’s your dad, after all.”
“He never really was, to be truthful.”
“I can’t give you what they can or did.”
“You can give me something they never did,” she states, her gaze searing in to mine.
“What’s that?”
“Love.”
Epilogue One - Emerson
February 29th…
“Do you, Emerson Rose Malone, take Keller Mitchell Charles to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him, forsaking all others and holding only to him forevermore?”
“I do.” Keller’s eyes water, a lone tear escaping, and he smiles, as if he’s just been given the world when I answer.
“Do you, Keller Mitchell Charles, take Emerson Rose Malone to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only to her forevermore?”
“More than anything,” Keller responds, melting my heart. The pastor laughs, knowing how Keller is after having met with us numerous times the past two weeks.
I can see when he decides to tease my almost husband, finding it amusing to wind him up. “It’s not official until…”
“I do!” Keller shouts, causing everyone to laugh now. Pastor Martin finishes the ceremony, whistling when Keller kisses me after being given permission.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I give you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Keller Malone.” The crowd erupts in applause and we start walking down the aisle, well, we take two steps before Keller picks me up and runs toward the door.
Over his shoulder he hollers, “There’s an open bar at the reception. We may or may not see you there.” We climb in the backseat of the limo, and Keller asks the driver to take the long route, then slips him a fifty and raises the window.
He gives me a wink, saying, “I’m a genius for asking for the tinted option.”
“You really are,” I enthusiastically agree. “Methinks my husband has earned a reward.”
“And now you’re a genius, too.” Sliding to my knees in front of him, I unzip his suit pants, both of us vetoing him wearing a tux, and slip my hand inside the opening, giving his impressively hard cock a squeeze.
“I’m still astounded this thing fits in me, but thank fuck it does,” I state as I swipe my thumb against the now visible tip as I’d lifted him out of the waistband of his boxer briefs.
“That’s because you’re my home,” he responds. Taking him in my mouth, I work up and down, scraping the head a bit with my teeth as he enjoys that tinge of pain. Keller groans, his hands threading through my hair as I’d chosen to leave it down since he prefers it that way. Teasing him, I bring him close to the edge only to back off and start all over again. “You know I’ll get my revenge, right?”
“I’m counting on it,” I confess as I let go of with a pop.
He grins, his thumbs stroking each cheek, then whispers, “I love you, Mrs. Malone.”
“And I you, Mr. Malone.” Returning to my mission, I build him back up and moan around his length as he erupts. His palm at the back of my head holds me in place and my fingers skate under the skirt of my wedding dress and inside my panties. They’re wet from my need for him and rapidly veering toward soaked at his show of dominance.
“Lick me clean,” he demands, turning me on even more. I do so eagerly, knowing though it may not seem so, I truly have all the power and he’ll worship me just as much very soon. And he does mere minutes later, his cock already raring to go for round two.
He places me on the seat, lifting my skirt and sticking his large frame under it. For some reason, not being able to see what he does – or is about to – is hotter. The first swipe of his tongue has me shooting upward, but his hands grab my hips and squeeze. I wish I could feel it on my skin, wish it would leave marks. My nails grip his forearms, intentionally pressing harder so the imprints will remain after the fact.
I feel the vibrations of his gruff voice as he says with his mouth pressed to my center, “I’m getting those tattooed this time.” Keller mentions that a lot, but he never does, complaining that other men will see it and know his woman is a hellcat in bed. I find his jealousy adorable instead of suffocating.
“Fuck me,” I plead. “Satisfy your wife,” I command.
Keller sucks my clit in his mouth, then gives it a flick, using his hold on me to almost submerge his face in me. It doesn’t take long before I’m shouting his name, and while I’m still shaking from my release, he surges forward, stuffing my pussy full.
As we both race toward another climax, he bites my neck as he spills his seed, and I make him a deal. “You get my mark on you permanently,” I offer, my fingers digging back in to strengthen the divots, “and I’ll do the same for yours.”
He doesn’t respond, but he does rise and take the bench seat behind him, pulling me on his lap at the same time and putting his once again hard dick where it belongs. With a tap to the window, it opens slightly and he informs the driver, “Can you swing by a reputable tattoo shop?” The man doesn’t question it, probably used to weirder requests from his fares, and says his brother owns one. “He any good? No offense.”
The limo stops and the driver pushes his right sleeve up, letting us see the art covering his arm. “Only person I let near me.” Keller and I both look it over and are equally impressed.
Reaching the reception an hour and a half late, we proudly display our new statements of love. The ceremony and vows were verbal, memories we’ll each cherish, yet the ink permanently etched on us our also vows.
Sometimes actions speak louder than words.
Epilogue Two - Keller
Ten years after meeting…
“Will that be all, sir?” My assistant asks.
“Yes, Miller. Thank you.” He steps out and I glance around my office, still having trouble accepting my new position.
After ridding the department, and the local government, of the trash, a complete overhaul had been required. Those who could be trusted were asked to help form the renovated force and there hasn’t been a whisper of wrongdoing since.
Emerson graduated at the top of her class and went on to join the ranks. She excelled, as I knew she would, and became an asset. It was admittedly hard watching her strap on that gun and take her first call, but she was born to do so.
We adjusted to the fear we both experienced every morning, choosing instead to focus on the time we had together as opposed to what could happen. We’d decided to wait before starting our family, preferring to have time to ourselves for a while and giving Emerson the ability to explore her new role as a police officer.
Dexter Edward Charles was born nine months ago and Emerson embraced motherhood like a natural. I know she’d been worried due to her own mom’s lack of maternal instinct, as I was regarding my father, yet the first time we held our son our fears faded as if they’d never existed. We loved him the second we knew she was pregnant and it’s only grown stronger as the days have passed. I asked yesterday if she missed being a cop and she admitted that she did, but assured me it was okay because she loves being a mom more.
Her parents were both found guilty, neither of us knowing until the trail was underway that her mom had played a part in everything as well. All those involved were sentenced to numerous years, some a decade or more, behind bars.
Edison and Emerson had visited their dad and mom once a piece, choosing to do so together, and were disgusted when the blame for their predicament was placed at their feet. They walked out and never returned, writing them off and seeming lighter for doing so.
My brother-in-law and I have grown quite close over the years, not only due to our love for Emerson, but also because he’s a good man. He and his wife bought the house two doors down from us and it isn’t the least bit stifling or too much contact having them so n
ear. They have two daughters, wanting children right away, and Emerson and I dote on our nieces as he and his wife do our son.
My dad and mom welcomed them into the fold, accepting them as family without delay. Edison and Emerson flourished over the parental love and attention they’d been denied their whole lives, and they consider his daughters their grandchildren, too.
When my phone rings, I pick it up, absentmindedly extending a greeting as my mind prefers to remain locked on my wife and son. So I’m extremely happy when the voice that responds is one that has the power to both soothe and poke the beast.
“I’m looking in the mirror, studying your mark on my neck, and I’m wondering if it’s time to add another,” she muses. “Perhaps on the inside of my thigh. Your teeth really seem to enjoy that area.”
“You better have a woman do that, wife,” I command, my hackles instantly alert. Then I change my mind and tell her, “Scratch that. I’d be jealous of anybody by your sweetness.”
“Then what do you suggest?” She asks me. “I really want it. I think it would be sexy.”
“I was pretty good at art when I was younger.” She giggles, bursting my bubble by declaring that I need more than that before I can take a needle to her. “This old dog can learn new tricks,” I suggest, happy to do so if it means no one else will ever touch her.
“Somehow I knew you’d have that reaction, and I planned for it.”
“How?” I want to know, suspicious but intrigued.
“Well, I might’ve signed us up for a beginner’s class that teaches you the basics before moving to the next level.”
“And why are you taking it with me?” I know, I just want to hear her admit it.
“No way in hell am I letting any body part near you that isn’t mine.” I laugh at her tone, like she’s ready to defend her territory at the thought.
“Sweetheart, you are the only person I see.”
“Awww,” comes through the other end, making me smile.
“Emerson?” We’ve been talking about expanding our family again, but hadn’t taken that step yet. Something tells me we’re ready to now.
“Yeah, baby?”
“Phoenix, you gonna burn for me tonight?” She whimpers. “How about I keep you in bed until a different kind of new life takes form. What do you think about that?”
“Well, I know your parents whisked Dexter out of here like they were worried I’d stop them.” Understandable considering we haven’t let him stay overnight with them yet. It has nothing to do with them, we just weren’t ready ourselves.
“I’m putting our daughter in you when I get home.”
“So cocky. It’ll come true simply because you demand it?”
“Science and genetics be damned. They have nothing on a man determined to provide for his woman. Don’t you know I’d break all the rules for you?”
Do you think Edison should get a HEA, too? If so, let me know. *wink*
