Glossary
Neena: Type of mankind that can breathe underwater.
Elpa: A thin membrane with pores that will shut the nostrils of a Neena when they go underwater. Elpa absorbs oxygen from water using its pores.
The Realms
The Surface: The first realms where the Neenas live, the land where kingdoms and many great civilizations rise and fall. In the Surface, people live in peace as they build constituted countries.
The Underworld: Found by Osberga Sattin, it is land below the Surface. The Underworld has nothing but red soil, hot air, and rivers of fire. It is where giant creatures dwell. After the Great War, many people desperately migrate to this realm to avoid the chaotic aftermath of the war and strict laws from the Kings in the Surface.
The Abyss: Also referred to as the third realm. It is a cold and dark world. Located far beneath the Underworld, this realm is inhabited by formless creatures. This is where Anags come from. There have only been a very few people that reach this realm.
Races of Neena
Marra: They are the first being, the pioneer of other races. They build cylindrical houses on the water, which are made of sea sand. Their trademark is their hair that has a gradient of two colors. Marrans are ambitious people who desire to achieve something great and bigger than themselves. They always seek for knowledge. They believe that by attaining knowledge, they have the world in their hands.
Haedin: Haedin people have blue eyes and relatively attractive faces. They are the most peaceful people in the Surface. They tend to avoid conflict with anyone. Since they were children, they were taught to believe in the existence of the Creator of the Universe. Most of them prefer to live in the forest, surrounded by plants.
Urgut: They are the wealthiest type of people. Their main purpose is to drill the mountains of gold. Most of them are miners. They are raised to be a merchant since they were children. They stand out with the average height of two meters, silver hair and grey eyes. Urgut men have a tendency to wed more than one woman as they love to collect them. They believe that having lots of women and children can improve their wealth luck.
Ingra: The rarest race that is known to exist. They have green eyes which can see through the darkness. An Ingra has a strong and adaptable body compare to people of other races. Their five primarily sense are far more sensitive. It is said that their extraordinariness is a result of the mixing of Marra and Haedin bloodline. Urgut people believe that they are the Revolutionaries, the kind that will bring a great change upon the world.
Beings from Abyss
Anag: A formless creature that is created by black fire and is born in the Abyss. An Anag can live for thousands of years. It can imitate the form of any living creature like a shapeshifter, except Neena. An Anag has the capability to control the Energy Universe and to manipulate the fourth element in nature.
Languages
Bahasa: A common language used by Neena in the realms. Though in different lands, Bahasa has different dialects.
Mundara: A whistle language that has been used by Marran for centuries. They use it to speak to creatures in the underwater world.
Mantra: Also known as spell to perform magic tricks. It is a whisper language used around the world. It comes with the air, fire, water, and earth. Some said that Mantra is the sound of the Energy Universe. To be able to learn Mantra, one must attain the Knowledge of the Soul.
General Terminology
Unum: The God, also known as The Creator of the realms. He cannot be seen by the eyes but can be felt by the heart. To know Him, one must read the Scripture of Essa and learn about life and the universe.
Unuma: A title for people who believe in Unum and worship Him. Though, some Unumas claim to believe in Unum since other people do too.
El Essa: People who have created a bond and pact with Unum. They consciously surrender and become His partner. An El Essa should embark upon a journey to find Unum in the Canyon of Solitude for a thousand months and read the Scripture of Essa. An El Essa can control the Energy Universe to surpass any kind difficulty in their lives. Their sweat has the scent of vanilla because the chemical in their body has transformed and worked differently.
Scripture of Essa: Known as the words of Unum. Through it, He speaks to people.
Energy Universe: Massive and living energy that Unum creates. It surrounds all the realms, blending with nature and everything there is. It is the source of magic and any mind power that can be harnessed by Neenas. It spreads whisper in nature which known as a Mantra.
Aura: Unique energy that comes from the inside body of a living creature.
Mind Power: A unique talent to utilize someone’s Aura as well as Energy Universe.
Telekinesis: An ability coming from Mind Power. It is used to move or control an object without needing to touch it.
Knowledge of the Soul: The knowledge to understand Mantra language. Wizards and witches possess this knowledge. The process to learn this knowledge is usually beyond ordinary pain. To be able to learn this, one must believe in Unum and understand how the Energy Universe works.
Aura Vibration: A spark of energy that shows up when a magic trick is performed by a wizard or a witch. Aura Vibration can affect someone's physical body and mind. It can also haunt people as either negative or positive feelings.
Thar: A leader of a country in the Surface. Still, a Thar’s jurisdiction is below a King.
Sher: Like a minister, a Sher exists to help the Thar govern the country.
Arni: A martial art mastered by Marran warrior in the past. Its excellence lies in the speed of the offense and its spontaneous and repetitive manner. Arni’s strength also relies on the mind and body of the user. High-level Arni users are trained to make use of their body as a weapon itself. Arni taught the user that anything surrounding them can be used as a weapon.
Jyoza: A martial art that relies mostly on the weapon that the user wield.
The League of Royans: An elite group of selected people who committed thievery and assassination around the world. They consist of outcasts, assassins, criminals, thieves, and lawless people led by the Kahisar. They serve the Kahisar.
Kahisar: The Head of the League of the Royans.
Royan: An elite member of the League of the Royans. There are assigned to committed thievery and assassination.
The Night Attire: An attire worn by Royans on duty. It contains Halo, a chemical that is released when exposed to the moonlight.
Black Wristlet: A wristlet worn by every Royan. It contains protection Mantra and was created to repel the Aura Vibration effect.
Halo: A special odorless substance used by the League of Royans made of Ludaj’s feces. It functions as a sleeping drug that is activated under the moonlight.
Cercila: A powerful drug to be injected into one’s body. It is used by the League of Royans. It can instantly heal any wounds, both internal and external.
Black Wave Ship: A ship owned by the League of Royans. Resembling a Phinisi boat, it needs to be sailed by two people and took six people on board.
Kings' Alliance: A group of a Kings who rule the Surface.
Qie: A sign on an Anag's forehead. It i
s the indicator of the Anag’s age. It resembles blazing red dots of burn marks. The less the Qie sign is, the stronger and older the Anag is.
Ludaj: A giant primate with a body as sturdy as a Neena. They eat almost everything. They have a strong muscled body.
Telepaqua: A scarce consciousness bonding of two individuals, also known as Two Become One. Telepaqua allows someone to see the memories of a person whom they choose. The two individuals will then share their consciousness and exchange vision. It will last for a certain amount of time.
Tartas: A Rogue Society that chooses to live in the Underworld. They consist of Haedin and Urgut people from all around the Surface.
Naqi: A sweet beverage invented by Haedin people. It is made by soaking ginger and seedless dates in water overnight.
Nimta: A set of clothing for distinguished Urgut people made of woven fabric. It is ornamented by a gemstone embedded around the chest area.
Kirki: A feather garment owned by Haedin people. For women, it is usually a shawl, while for men it is a headband.
Zu Stone: A mystical stone with a vicious history. It takes the form of a rhombus and has indented spots all over it. It is said to be the key to bring calamity upon the Surface.
Osberga Door: A mysterious door that has never been opened since the first time it was found. It has 99 symbols that can rearrange its shape into four elements of nature.
Black Blood: A mysterious vicious plague that causes the victim to have blood poisoning and vivid hallucination.
Babag: A plant that contains nicotine in its green twigs which can be smoked. This plant has no flower nor fruits.
