“Maybe I don’t want you to be good; maybe I need to feel you be bad.”

I move both of my hands around the sides of her neck where the tips of my fingers are at the base of her head and just in her hairline. I pull her close and spin us around.

‘You want me to be bad, careful what you ask love. I am already on edge just being in here with you looking sexy as hell as soap runs down your naked wet body.’ I walk her backward until he back is against the wall of the shower. I bend to kiss her and realize she never let go of my cock. I lay my forehead against hers and whisper, ‘fucking perfect, you are fucking perfect.’

I start to kiss her slowly. Even knowing we still have a lot of stuff to do today I do not want to rush this, I want to savor every inch of her.

I deepen the kiss, but am careful around her cuts and bruises, as I take her hands and pin them above her head. I kiss down her neck and gently graze my teeth across the dip where her neck and shoulder meet. That small nip earns me a full body shiver from her. I let go of her wrists and continue to make my way down. I palm her right breast and lightly run my thumb across her hard nipple. Just as I take the other into my mouth, I give it a little pinch. I am rewarded with a guttural moan from her.

I keep moving down; I nip her again when I get to her hip bones. I take her right leg and put it over my shoulder. I place one hand on her ass to make sure she can stay upright. She is already so wet, and not from the shower. I take a long slow lick all the way down and back up her sex until my tongue reaches her clit. I gently suck on her clit as I bring my other hand up to her folds. I slowly insert two fingers as I lick and suck on her clit. I find a good rhythm, and it is not long before I hear her.

  “Ash, please, I need you.”

‘I’ve got you, baby, just let go, I’ve got you.’

A crook of my fingers and she lets go. I can feel her muscles clench against my fingers. I continue to work her until her orgasm stops. She moves her leg from my shoulder and runs her hands through my hair as she pulls me up to a scorching kiss. I stand and press my body against hers as we kiss. I break the kiss and tell her she is perfect. I reach down and pick her up, and she automatically wraps her legs around me. She is light; I could hold her here all day. She kisses me again then I feel her reach for my cock.

“Ash, I need to feel you inside me.”

We adjust slightly with her back against the wall and her long legs wrapped around me we find the right position, and I am able to slowly slide into her tight wet body. Fuck she feels good. We start a slow, steady pace. With her pinned between me and the wall, I can reach up with one hand and grab the back of her head. I pull her lips to me.

You are mine, as long as you will have me. Tell me you are mine, I need to hear it.

“I’m yours, I’ve always been yours.”

We continue to move together as one, hard, soft, fast and slow until we are both spent. I move us to the seat again and sit with her in my lap, with my cock still inside her. I do not know how I will ever be able to let her go and pray that the day never comes where I might have to.

  Chapter 33

  Lana

I sit across Ash until we both catch our breath. I raise my head up and kiss him on the forehead. Then I slowly ease up off of his lap. We both move under the streams of water. We continue to take our time washing and just being together.

Just before I am going to step out of the shower, Ash pulls me back into him. He places his hands around my neck again and lifts my chin so that I am looking up at him. When our eyes connect, we are still for just a moment before he starts talking.

“Ali, Lana, no matter what you go by I need you to know I love you. I have loved you my whole life, even when we were apart. I know I should have gone back for you when I was done with school, but I was afraid you had moved on and was not man enough to face that. My love for you is irreplaceable. You leave me defenseless when it comes to you; you are my everything. I would give up everything I have to be with you. Just one look at you and I am whole again. You are mine; I love you. I will always take care of you. Now that I have you back, I don’t ever want to lose you again. You are my everything.”

Damn it, Ash; I just stopped crying! It is no use now, though, tears are once again falling from my eyes. I blink away what I can and look back to him.

Ash, I love you. I always have, even before you saw me as more than just JJ’s little sister. As Blake, you were my first love. As Ash, you are still my love. No one else has ever come close, all I did was compare them to you. No, you shouldn’t have come for me when you finished school. We both needed to find our own way, to learn who we are. I never blamed you for leaving; it was not your fault. I know you had so much to overcome after losing your mom. What matters now is that we found our way back to each other. I never let go of the love I felt for you as a kid. Now over the last couple of weeks, I have felt that love grow into something I never thought I would have, but because of you, it is possible. I don’t want you to give up anything for me, though. You have a life you have built in Nashville, including your company. I won’t let you give any of that up for me. You will just resent me for it later. When things settle down, and we are completely done with Josh and Andrew, and we get you dad home, we can sit and talk it all out, for now, let’s just enjoy the time we have together. No matter what happens, though, remember I love you, please never doubt that.

We stand under the water embraced in each other’s arms for a few more minutes then we both get out of the shower so we can get to the hospital.

When we walk out of the bathroom, I see clothes folded up on the bed for me. I look back to Ash who just smiles at me.

“Hey, if I have to share you with everyone, you can’t be naked.”

When I start to tell him that I will pay him back for the clothes, he kisses me and tells me not to start and that we still have so much to talk about; but for now, we need to get dressed and eat some of the breakfast that was delivered so we can leave.

  Chapter 34

  Ash

After a quick bite to eat, we head out to the hospital to see dad. When we get to the hospital, Clara meets us in the hallway with Brantley. When she sees us, she runs up to Lana and nearly knocks her over when she hugs her. Lana takes it in stride; “Hi baby girl, how are you holding up?”

When Clara lets go of Lana, I look at her and she looks like she is going to start crying, so I do the only thing I know to do. ‘Hey, what am chopped liver, now, you used to hug me like that.’ This gets me a chuckle from both Clara and Lana, and a look of relief from Brantley. Clara wraps her arms around my neck and squeezes.

“Don’t be jealous big brother; you will always be my favorite teddy bear.” I know you found us fast when we were taken, but Lana took care of me while we were there, she stopped them from hurting me. I will always be grateful for that, and now that I know who she is that makes it even more special. I am so glad you guys found each other again. However, we may need to rethink this surveillance career you have if you didn’t realize who she was. One good look at her and one good talk with her and I knew who she was. I bet dad will know who she is too.”

You haven’t told him yet? No, they had an emergency in the room next to his just before they moved him, so they are on their way down with him now. I am so glad he is being moved today, that means he will be home soon.

My phone rings just as I see them coming down the hallway with dad. I glance at the screen and know that I have to take the call. Lana looks at me, and I can see it written on her face that she knows whatever it is it is not good news. She squeezes my hand and tells me to go ahead and take the call that she will stay with Clara and get dad settled into the new room. I give her a chaste kiss and answer the phone as I walk down the hall. When I glance back over my shoulder, I see Lana link arms with Clara and shake her head. She is telling her that everything is fine. She doesn’t want Clara to worry about anything.

Leo is on the phone when I answer. In the background, I hear Josh screaming
. Leo tells me that his friend in the police department just called him and told him that he has Andrew in custody. He is not booking him but keeping him there for one of us to pick up. I tell Leo that after I see dad, I will go get him and bring him back to house they are at, and we can end this once for all.

I walk back down the hall, and before I can get to the room I can hear my dad laughing and Lana laughing. I step into the room, and my dad looks at me and smiles. “Well son, it’s about time you pull your head out of your ass and get a woman that can put up with you. Although, she did introduce herself as Lana, and I know damn well that her name is Ali.” That elicits a laugh from everyone in the room.

Yes, sir, she went by Ali when we were kids but like me when she got a little older her nickname changed, and she goes by Lana now just like I go by Ash now instead of Blake. Regardless of what everyone else calls her, I know I who she is and know that I never stopped loving her and hope she is around to put me in my place for a very long time.

Lana steps into my embrace, but I can see the blush on her cheeks and the smile on her face before she rests her head on my shoulder. She whispers to me that she loves me too. Then she asks if everything is ok with the guys. I give her a slight nod, and she understands that I will fill her in when we leave the hospital.

We spend another thirty minutes with dad, and he is starting to doze off and on, so we decide to leave and let him get his rest. Dr. Brantley still has a few hours left on his shift, so Clara is going to stay with dad until he is off.

As we are walking out of the hospital, Lana asks about the phone call, so I fill her in. I tell her I can drop her off at the hotel so she can get some rest and I will go to the police station and pick up Andrew and meet the guys. She vetoes my suggestion before I even finish talking. “Ash, we are in this together. I will go with you. Besides, I do not really want to be alone right now, even if all I am doing is sleeping. That and if I am with you, then you won’t worry about if I am staying put in the hotel room.” With the last statement, she knows she has me.

When we get to the police station, I give the desk sergeant the name Leo gave me, and then we wait. It only takes a few minutes, and we are called to the back of the station. The guy we meet is Ryker. I tell him thank you for letting us know he found Andrew. He takes us to the interview room where he has him. We look across the double glass at him, and I am baffled. The guy sitting in the other room looks like Andrew, but something is off. Lana says it before I do. “That’s not him.”

Ryker looks surprised, “what do you mean that’s not him?” When he was taking Clara fought hard enough to cut him under his left eye, this guy has no marks on him; there is no sign of struggle at all. But I don’t understand; he looks just like him otherwise.

I ask Ryker to stay with Lana while I go talk to our look alike.

I walk into the room, and the Andrew stand in starts laughing. I sit across from him, and when he stops talking, I ask him who he is and where Andrew is. He chuckles again.

“You will never catch him, every time you think you have him, it will just be one of us.”

  Wait, one of us?

“Yes one of us, haven’t you figured it out yet? Andrew is one out of a set of triplets, and we all look alike. The best part is that we like to share our prizes. So remember that, because we will get your girlfriend again and I intend to enjoy her thoroughly, but I must warn you I am a little rougher on my play things than Andrew, so she will be a little worse for wear when I am done. Oh, and I didn’t forget your pretty little sister either, I will have her too. We plan to play with her together.”

I am out of my chair and across the room before I realize it. I have him up and against the wall. Ryker busts through the door and pulls me off of him, just as I am telling him that he will never touch the girls. Once I have let him go, he straightens his shirt and starts to walk out of the room. “If that is all gentlemen, then we have confirmed that I am not who you thought I was, so I must be going.”

Ryker asks me what the hell all of that was about, but before I can answer there is a commotion in the hallway. Lana!!! I run out of the room with Ryker on my heels. When we get into the hallway, we see Lana bounce the guy off of the wall. I am between them before he can move again. “You will not fucking touch her again.” I bend down so only he can hear me and tell him ‘I will kill you for touching her, and it will not be a quick death.’

“You have to catch me first, even if you catch me there is still two more of me. You can’t protect them; we will eventually get them.”

Before I can do anything more, Lana looks at Ryker and says she wants to press charges for assault and sexual harassment. When I look at her, she tells me that if she presses charges, then the cops have a reason to hold him, so it is one less person we have to deal with at least for now. Ryker doesn’t hesitate he yanks him up, slams him against the wall and starts to cuff him and read him his rights. I pull Lana in for a hug, and as I do so I slip Ryker my card and tell him if he needs us to call, and if he doesn’t get me to call Leo, he will know how to get in touch with us.

I walk Lana out of the station and back to my truck. When we get in, I lean my head back against the seat and let out a big breath.

“Ash, you know he is right, you can’t be everywhere at once. You can’t always protect us. There will come a day, that we need to be apart.”

No, I will not accept that. It is my job to protect you and Clara. Damn it, Lana; I just got you back. I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe and with me. I don’t even want to consider going back to a life without you. As far as Clara goes, she is my baby sister; I will do what I have to in order to keep her safe too.

“Ash, it’s not your job to protect me. It’s you job to love me and be there for me when I need you. You have to know that accidents happen, you will not always be by my side. I trust you with my life, but I do not want you to put that burden on yourself. I want you to enjoy our time together and not spend it looking over your shoulder for some boogie man that may not even exist.”

I won’t argue with you now, but this discussion is not over. For now, we need to get to the guys and let them know what is going on. This gets a smirk and a yes dear from her.

When we get to the house where the guys are something just feels wrong. The little hairs on the back of my neck are standing as we get out of the truck. As soon as Lana is out of the door good, there is a single crack of a gunshot and a scream from Lana.

I run around the truck and see Lana on the ground with blood coming from her. By the time I make it to her Leo and Xav are out of the house guns drawn. I know the moment Leo spots Lana. The look on his face is a mix of rage and panic. Before I can think, I scoop her up and run into the house knowing that they will cover me. When we get into the house I set her down, Leo is right on my heels. We both start looking to see where she is hit. Lana starts swatting hands away.

“Stop, I am ok. I’m lucky that bastard is a bad shot.” She says this as she giggles. Fucking giggles!!

This is not funny Lana. That just makes her laugh harder.

“Ash, I have to laugh, what else am I going to do? It is done now we just have to deal with it.”

Woman, you are going to be the death of me, now where are you bleeding so we can get it stopped. She points to her side. I take my shirt off. Leo is raising hers so he can evaluate the wound. He takes my shirt and presses it to her side. She lets out a yelp and Leo looks at her with an apology. I don’t know if I want to high five him or knock him out. I don’t have to make the decision because Lana knocks him over, laughing.

You too have the strangest friendship I have ever seen. If you are not hugging, you are beating each other up.

They both give a chuckle at that until Leo moves her around so he can see her back and she cusses him again. The look he gives me when her head is turned tells me that it is not good, that he is laughing with her, so she doesn’t get scared.

Josh speaks up when he hears Lana yell. Leo and I both look up
to say something to him, but before we can say anything, the window crashes and a bullet hits his skull. Leo and I both reflexively cover Lana and won’t let her look. Even though she has no feelings for him now, at one time, she did care for him, so it is better if she doesn’t look. The rest of the team is outside now, but there are no more gun shots. When they all come back inside saying that it is clear I hand Leo the keys to my truck and tell him he is driving. Before we go anywhere, Lana insists that we fill them in on the new brothers. Even as Leo is telling her that we don’t have time for that. She agrees that we can tell Leo and he will relate the message.

We get into the truck and head to the hospital. The rest of the team will clean up here and then go back to my dad’s house and start working information to find Andrew and any information we can find on the other two brothers.

Lana is pale and clammy in my hands. She has stopped talking. Leo is driving like a bat out of hell to get us to the hospital. I call Clara on the way to the hospital and asks her if Hunter is still on shift. Clara tells me he is and I ask her to have him meet us in the emergency room. I tell her the basics, and she assures me that he will be there.

When we get to the emergency room, Hunter is waiting for us outside and next to him is their friend Dr. Michael Wright. As soon as I step out of the truck with Lana, they are there with the stretcher. I lay her down, and they take off with her. Leo and I are hot on their heels. When they cut the shirt off of her, I cringe.

My thoughts must reflect on my face because Leo grabs my arm and reassures me that the only thing the guys see is the bullet wound. I tell him I know that they are doing their job, but it isn’t just that, I’m not sure what I will do if I lose her, I just fucking got her back.

The guys are barking out orders and applying pressure to the wound with gauze pads. When they took my shirt off of the wound, it started bleeding profusely, again, and they are struggling to get it stopped.
