Bad Boy Hero: A Romantic Suspense Page 23

The wood beneath her squeaked as I grabbed her hips and jerked them toward me. She slipped her panties completely off and extended her legs out to either side in a full split. My cock flexed and jumped at seeing her beautiful pussy spread before me.

Her pussy ached for my cock. My fat head slid over her engorged clit lighting her senses up in another frenzied wave. I was going to tease it out but I couldn't; I just wanted her too damn bad.

I slid my hands down her thighs and squeezed to get some handholds. Her eyes glazed over as I slowly thrust my long thick cock inside her soaked pussy. Her inner walls spread, then tightened around me. My cock throbbed with every inch I pushed into her until I was buried up to my base.

I flexed inside her, making her gasp in air. Her breath fluttered as I began to pull back out. She was so hot and wet that it was like fucking Heaven itself. I went slowly at first testing her comfort and seeing what she could take.

“Harder,” Claire sighed through clenched teeth. Eagerness was the only emotion on her face so I withdrew, then slammed back in forming a rhythm. My balls slapped her ass as we came together fully. The wood groaned and creaked in protest of each impact.

My brain was wiped, all I could focus on was her crushing my cock. The sensation invaded my whole body, I was a slave to it.

A door closed downstairs somewhere which made me remember where we were. Someone might have seen us, but I didn't care. Only Claire mattered. My adrenaline spiked and I pushed against her with little explosions.

Her legs closed tightly together until her body formed a big L position before me, it made the tension around my cock even tighter. I fucked her through the whole motion and couldn't get enough of her body.

I pulled her bra straps down and freed her busty tits. She moaned when I thumbed and pinched at her perky pink nipples. I loomed before her as a sculpted beast lost in the pleasure of fucking her.

“Awwww,” she whimpered when I abruptly stopped thrusting. I was too close and didn't want to come just yet. It was like filling up on one type of pastry: I had to try them all. Before she could protest, I rolled her carefully onto her stomach.

“Fuck yes.” I never pulled out and got to feel her body rotate around my cock, the motion brought me even closer to the edge. I had to take a moment before I pushed into her again, but when I did, Claire gasped that I was even deeper in her than before. “You like that?”

“All the Yes!” Her back arched as she struggled to take all of me. I placed my hands on her hips and watched as her tits flattened out against the dark wood. It got me so hot that my blood had begun to boil. “How can you feel this good? I am so fucking close.”

She met my every thrust with a push back. Her ass cheeks were worn raw from slapping into my hips. Minutes, hours or days later, her back rippled, she was on the cusp of coming again. Her legs turned to rubber. The muscles in her pussy contracted into a thousand little shock waves.

I dragged my nails up her back and through her hair. She lost it. Her whole body locked up and crushed my cock. It felt amazing.

When she screamed, it toppled me over the edge. All my senses popped off like firecrackers. Her pussy's sudden tensing strangled my pulsing cock. She milked my molten cum into the condom. I wished the latex barrier wasn't there, but I wanted her to heal up fully before I slammed another baby into her.

I pulled out and kissed at her shoulders. She'd never even got the chance to take her dress off; she just wore it under her hips and over her ass like a super thick belt. That made me chuckle.

“What?” Claire asked catching her breath,

“I think that's the biggest belt you've ever worn,” I rolled off the condom and tossed it.

“You jerk,” Claire laughed. She rolled over and gave me an exasperated expression. “Will you ever let me live that down?”

“Maybe in a few years,” I winked at her and sat on the desk beside her.

“Punk.” She kissed me angrily then got up and straightened her dress. Claire scanned the office as I got dressed. She looked out the large balcony doors that overlooked a city that she grew up in and around.

“So many people...” She said distantly, becoming absorbed in the scenery. “I've never seen it from this angle.”

“Not many people have.” I slipped on my shoes.

Claire broke her gaze, then walked back and sat comfortably in Anthony's chair. It seemed to fit her. The chair was actually a little big for her, but she looked good in it. It wasn't the chair or the office, but the authority that came with them that she seemed to wear like a glove.

“Yes,” Claire said, after a time.

I shot her a confused look.

“I'm going to take the position,” she clarified. She looked at me, shiny from drying sweat and her blond hair a mess. “As long as I have that team of people helping me; then, yeah, I'll do it.”

I nodded. I was glad to hear it but I didn't say anything. This was a big decision and I didn't want her to get bogged down with my opinion. Taking this job would mean a ton of stress, but I thought she was up for it.

“What are you going to do with yourself while I’m out earning all the beans?” Claire smiled, lightening the mood.

“Oh, woe is us. However will we survive?” I shrugged my jacket on and remade my tie. “I figure I'll give this whole fatherhood thing a full-time shot. Speaking of which, let's go pick up our son. Your parents are delightful and all, but I don't want him outside splitting wood with your father until he can at least stand up on his own.”

“That's ridiculous!” Claire protested, sternly, rising to her feet. “They waited until I learned how to walk before he gave me my first ax.” She couldn't keep the facade up through the sentence and ended up laughing out the last few words.

I wrapped my arm around her and basked in her laugh. I loved that sound more than anything.

I'd let Bianca carry on the Cooper family's legacy. I was more interested in being the best parent that I could be, just like mine were to me. Not everyone was cut out for the family business, but I still felt like I had made them proud in my own way.

  Epilogue

  Claire

“Aaand that does it.” Dad drove the last nail into the custom carved wood sign above the front door to his newly rebuilt furniture refinishing and upholstering shop. They were finally done.

“It's crooked.” Maynard said, dusting his thick work clothes off.

Oh boy... It was hard not to shake my head as Mom and I walked up the street toward them. It always seemed like they were arguing, but I knew it was just lighthearted banter. That's just how they bonded. I was pushing my son in the stroller and Mom had two bags of food for our celebratory family lunch.

After the fire, Dad had decided that he was going to rebuild the store himself. When Maynard heard that, he asked my dad if he could help. Dad was hesitant at first, but Maynard kept coming back and putting in the work. It had taken them the better part of a year, but they rebuilt it, together.

“It's not crook—” Dad stepped off the short ladder and looked at the sign from several angles. He realized that Maynard was just pulling his leg and scowled at him. Then he laughed at the joke and threw an arm around Maynard's shoulders. “Not bad, kid. I'll make a carpenter out of you yet.”

Maynard smiled but didn't say anything. They both just looked at the shop in all its glory, savoring the fruits of their hard labor.

“Play time's over,” Mom interrupted the moment and brushed past them to get inside. “It's time for lunch.”

“Music to my grumbling stomach.” Dad pinched Mom's butt when she passed then joined her inside.

“Hey there, hot stuff.” I kissed Maynard

“Hey, gorgeous.” Maynard refused to let me go and kissed me half a dozen more times.

“Let me go!” I protested. “You taste like manual labor!”

“You love it.” Sawdust and sweat matted his dark hair. His hands were colored with wood stain and chalk. It was still hard to wrap my brain around s
eeing Maynard arm deep in lumber and hand tools.

It was a whole new, crazy-hot side of him.

“I do.” I smiled, teasing his tongue against mine.

“Hey, love birds, get in here!” Dad shouted from inside. “We got something to tell you.”

“Hi there, little guy,” Maynard brushed himself off again just to be careful, then hoisted Mark out of the stroller. “Grandpa wants to yell at me some more, but you'll protect me right?”

Mark cooed, and laughed and pawed at his father. I could never get tired of that. Maynard had such a way with Mark that made me so happy and thankful that he was his father. I never would've thought Maynard would've had it in him, but I was so glad to be wrong.

The food was spread out on a table in the office. It was the only place in the whole building that wasn't covered in too much sawdust.

“What'd I screw up this time, old man?” Maynard uncovered the highchair that we left here and fastened Mark into it.

“Our answer is yes,” Mom said.

“Yes to what?” I thought back over the course of the day, wondering if there was a question lingering that I hadn't remembered asking.

“The wife and I were talking,” Dad addressed Maynard solemnly at first then smiled through his bushy beard. “We've decided that you can marry our daughter.”

I nearly fell over from the shock of it. I wanted to start planning our wedding for months, but Maynard refused. It was important to him that he get my parents' blessing. I think it had to do with not being able to connect with his own parents. I thought the whole thing was really sweet.

“Holy shit.” Maynard was stunned. “Seriously?”

  “Language!” Mom scolded him.

Maynard jumped into the air and shouted.

“You hear that, darling?” Maynard grabbed me with his massive hands, and kissed me like it was the end of the world. “I'm going to make an honest woman out of you.”

“Why start now?” I laughed. I couldn't contain my massive grin. I was so excited. The last piece of the puzzle had finally snapped into place. I had the perfect family, an amazing, rewarding job where I could help people all over the world, and now this. It was impossible for me to be any happier.

I couldn't imagine myself as that scared introvert, all alone in her crappy New York apartment desperately trying to forget about her even crappier ex-boyfriend. My only concerns were to survive my terrible boss and to finish school.

It was amazing what can change in such a short amount of time. When I graduated college, I thought the best I could do was a coordinator for a community-outreach program and now I was the CEO of massive foundation.

That was a little generous, actually. I was still a CEO-in-training. Although Bianca had her hands full with the parent company she was always willing to train me. Between her and my staff, I was getting a crazy amount of practical real world experience. I was far from perfect but I was no longer intimidated by it all. One day soon I was going to be a force to be reckoned with.

I've had help along the way, but in my heart I knew that I earned this chance and that I deserved this position. If I could go back in time I would tell myself only one thing.

Keep an open heart and just hang on.

Hope takes all forms. One of those forms might even be a hastily scrawled note on your fridge telling you to be ready at six p.m.

  Chapter 1

  Maynard

  I loved fucking.

  Who doesn't, right?

For me it was different. I loved women and their bodies like a painter loves his canvas, loves his art. And when it came to that fine art, well... I was a renaissance man.

Claire fumbled with her apartment door keys. I had her bra unclasped before we'd even got off the elevator.

I'd always liked power, maybe it was because of the obscenely wealthy family I was born into. Or maybe it was because of the extreme thrills I chased when I wasn't hunting for pussy. Whatever it was, I usually went after starlets, singers, and the occasional princess. And by princess I mean real fucking royalty, with crowns and titles and all that shit.

Claire opened the door and slipped inside. When she didn't hear me follow, she abruptly spun on her heels to face me. Her short blond hair whirled to one side. Her bangs barely covered her emerald green eyes. They shined in the dim apartment complex light. The beauty in those eyes made me pause for a moment.

Claire had curves. She wasn't the zero-body-fat-model-type I usually fooled around with. Still, Claire had this early twenties, nerdy thing going on that I found absolutely intoxicating.

  And she was fiery.

The hard to get ones, made you work the most for it, but it was a crap-shoot whether the payoff was ever any good. That princess I nailed last summer made me work for it and when I unleashed my cock she just laid there like dead fish. Biggest let down of my entire life.

No, Claire wasn't my type at all.

  She was perfect.

“Aren't you going to invite me in?” I asked her.

“C'mon in...” Claire looked at me curiously, not understanding why I asked. I made sure that it was something I always did, without fail. Claire, then changed her mind and stuck a palm into my chest. “How do I know that you're not a vampire.”

  “I guess you don't.”

Claire blinked and shook her head. “That's exactly what a vampire would say, you know.”

“You think I'm a vampire?” The smirk I'd been repressing slowly consumed half my face. Cute, hard-to-get and with a sense of humor? This girl was a rare find.

“Maybe...” Claire's soft, pink lips were incredibly inviting as they wrinkled at one side.

She pulled her purse higher up on her shoulder and adjusted the thick belt that she wore over her long shirt. She wasn't lying at the bar earlier when she said she wasn't there to meet guys. Her business casual clothes and slightly faded mascara were a testament to that. Claire was probably at that university bar just to forget about a crappy day at work.

Sex was like dinner to me. Sometimes I went to bed a little hungry, but I never starved. Most of the models in my wheelhouse were beginning to feel like fast food. When I first saw Claire toady working in the school's financial office, I knew that she was a meal I’d have to make from scratch.

That was fine with me. They always tasted better that way.

“Well, you're not wrong.” I put both hands on either side of the door frame and lowered my face toward her. “If you let me in, I might eat you.” My half smile dwindled and I let my gaze reach out to her. My cock was so damn hard that it snaked down to my knee. “So what's it going to be? Are you going to let me in?”

Claire lightly bit at her upper lip and thought on it. She didn't pull away as my face got dangerously close to her's. “Maybe.”

“Maybe is just 'yes' with extra letters.” I was close enough to feel the heat of her breath. Her perfume melded with the sweetness from the mixed drinks I’d bought her at the bar. Neither of us were drunk, but the edge was definitely off.

“And if I say no?” Claire's eyelids grew heavier the closer I came.

“You honestly think you can keep me out?” I whispered, our lips all but already touching. My voice was low and thick and full of promises.

Her body tensed for a moment, her eyes flashed with a hint of worry.
How well did she know me? She was so overworked that she hadn't even seen me when I walked through her office. She'd basically met me at the bar a few hours ago.

She snorted out air and cracked a slight grin when she decided I was kidding. Of course I’d never force myself on her her. However, if she let me in I wasn't going to go easy on her. If she wanted to ride my cock, she'd have to hold on for dear life.

I was slumming it, when I hit that bar. Claire was nothing but a lay for me. And hopefully a good one. That was all I cared about. If she hadn't shown up I’d be at a different girl's place, it was all the same to me. I was rich enough that I could let my cock make all my decisions. Hell, I'd probably forget her name before I even left the apartment.

But I had to wonder, what was I to her? Earlier she guessed correctly that I was in my mid twenties. I was a wall of carved muscle in an obviously expensive full suit. I looked about as out of place in a grungy college bar as you could get.

Claire grabbed my tie, and pulled me inside. It was a quaint, little studio apartment, perfect for a full time student. I pushed her up against the nearest wall and licked the lips I'd been staring at all night. They were as soft as I hoped and tasted like cheap bourbon and sour apple.

I slid my hand behind her, over the slick leather of her belt and took another look at her up close. Claire wasn't gorgeous, she wasn't high fashion. She'd probably never walk a runway. What she did have was this button nose and soft, rosy checks. She was was fucking adorable. And here I was, all hard edges.

She'd invited the bull into her china shop. I was going tear her up and—

She jerked forward and pressed her soft cotton lips into mine. She kissed me? I was hesitant at first because of my rules, they were the core beliefs that ran my life. And one of them had just been shattered. I was always quick enough to stop and redirect kisses in the past. Why did I allow this one?
