Shadow Is a Colour as Light Is Page 21

by Michael Langan

He’ll make a new work of art, one that will shine a light on his and Walter’s fractious relationship, exploring the rift that came to exist between father and son, the grief-made gap that neither of them knew how to bridge.

Perhaps too, Jeffrey can play a game of his own, combining the footage he has amassed, watching Walter from an intimate distance, with an unflinching portrayal of himself.

At the very end, only as the credits roll, he will reveal his secret identity as the Lone Wolf to the rest of the world. What a triumphant surprise that will be!

He’s sure his father would love that. It will be Jeffrey’s gift to him.
