“And we want you to move in with us, baby. Permanently.” Dane’s gaze sought out hers. “We want you to be our mate, our wife.”
“Your wife. To all three of you?”
“Yes. We love you, and we want you.” Micah brushed back her hair. “If you’ll have us, that is.”
“Like a wife. With a house and kids, but with three men?”
“Yeah.” Ryan pulled her to her feet and enclosed her in his arms. “Do you love us, baby? Would you want to have children with us?”
She found comfort and strength in his silver eyes. “Would the children be like you?”
“They could be. Most of the time they are, but it’s possible that they could be human. We’ll have to wait and see.”
“Human or dragon, we’ll love them.” Micah tossed a grin at Dane. “Even if they turn out to be wingless Red Verian dragons like him, we’ll still think they’re great.”
“Red Verian dragons? I don’t understand.”
“You will, baby. You will. We’ll get around to all that. For now, all you need to understand is how much we want you. And then decide if you want us back.”
Men who could change into dragons. Men who could fly. Children who could be dragons.
How had she gone from a normal world into one straight out of a magical fairy tale? And yet, although fairy tales had dragons, her fairy tale also had princes. Three of them.
“Baby, do you want to stay with us? At least for now?”
Suddenly, she felt weak, drained of every ounce of energy. “I think I need to lie down.”
Ryan swept her off her feet. “Get some sleep. We’ll talk again tomorrow.”
“Wait.” Her palm rested against him. “What about Brenna and Molly?”
“They’re fine and back at the shelter.”
She sighed and rested her head against his broad chest and closed her eyes. As much as she wanted to know more, she didn’t have the strength to keep talking. She was asleep before they made it into the house.

Julie awoke with a start. Not from a nightmare of the Silhouette Man but from dreams of dragons. Instead of waking up frightened, she found she had an entirely different feeling. As the dragons morphed into men in her dreams, she became more and more aroused.
“How are you feeling?” Dane stood in the doorway of the massive bedroom with the equally massive bed. The room was filled with light from windows with the tops curving into semi-circles. An expensive brocade bedspread covered her, and heavy drapes were pulled back to let the sunlight stream in.
“Good. What time is it? Or maybe I should ask what century it is?”
He looked puzzled, his eyebrows dipping toward his nose, and then he brightened. “Oh, I get it. Like it’s the medieval times with knights—”
“And dragons.”
“Exactly.”
Tossing off the covers, she slid out of bed. Her clothes were wrinkled, but she was glad they hadn’t undressed her while she was asleep. She wouldn’t have liked missing the enjoyment of them taking off her clothing.
Micah and Ryan entered the room together and came toward her. Yet before they reached her, they stopped, questions in their expressions.
“I’m fine,” she said, answering before they had chance to ask.
“Mentally? Or just physically?” Heat flared in Micah’s eyes as his gaze raked over her body. “You look great.”
“I’m good both ways. Although it’s going to take a while for me to really believe.”
“If we’re lucky, you’ll have all the time in the world.” Ryan held up a newspaper. “Besides, you’re not alone. Other people saw what happened last night, too.”
“What do you mean?”
He handed her the newspaper. In the center of the page was a cell phone photo of Hank flying through the air. But at least the photo didn’t show the dragon carrying him. “Oh, no.”
“Don’t worry about it.” Micah’s expression, however, told a different story. “No one got a photo of us in our dragon forms. As for Hank, he wasn’t facing the camera. We’re doing damage control now by spreading a rumor saying it was all a stunt for an upcoming circus. It’s a win-win situation. The circus gets some unexpected publicity, and we get a cover story.”
“Are you sure?”
“No. But if this doesn’t explain it away, we’ll face that bridge when we come to it,” assured Dane.
“It’s ‘we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it,’” corrected Micah.
“Not the way you and Ryan fly. A couple of times, I thought you two would run straight into a bridge.”
“Big words coming from a man who can’t fly.” Ryan came to her, opening his arms then growled as Dane shoved him out of the way.
Dane pulled her into an embrace. “Does this mean you’re going to stay with us?”
“Yes, but I still have a few questions.”
“Fire away.”
She drew in a breath, inhaling Dane’s masculine aroma. Was it aftershave? Or his natural fragrance? “Tell me about dragons.”
Dane pulled her back to the bed, where they all took a place close to her. He told her about the four main clans of dragons and how they’d lived for years, hiding among the humans. He told her about how they’d lose their immortality now that they’d found their mate.
“So you’ll start aging like humans? Are you sure you want to give that up?” Could she ask that of them? And yet, she sensed it wasn’t her decision to make.
Micah shrugged. “What good is living forever if we have to live it without you?”
She melted, never having believed she’d ever hear any words as sweet. “So we’ll age together? What if you change me into a dragon? Would it make a difference?”
“We can’t. Dragons are born, not made.” Dane pushed her hair aside and kissed her on the back of the neck. “You’ll remain human and just as perfect as you are now. The only difference is that you might have a baby who’s human but can change into his dragon form when he reaches puberty. Then again, he might be human.”
“Or her dragon form.”
He smiled. “Or her dragon form. So does that mean you’ll be our mate?”
“Our woman?” Micah lowered his voice to sexy, deep growl.
“Our wife?” chimed in Ryan.
“How could I turn down the men who saved my life?” Her body wouldn’t have let her say no to them. Her lips, her pussy, her nipples ached to have their hands on her.
“You can’t.” Ryan grabbed her, pulling her onto her back. His hand skimmed their way under her shirt, and then he hooked his fingers around the collar. “You’re ours, baby. From now until the day we die.”
Her shirt was torn away, jerking her body upward. Excitement flooded her, making her feel daring as she took hold of his shirt and yanked it opened, sending buttons scattering over the bed.
Micah took her by the chin, forcing her to watch him. With one quick look, his mouth was on hers, his tongue sweeping into her mouth, gathering all her flavors.
She reached out, her hands finding a hold on Dane’s shirt and on Ryan’s jeans. Getting their clothes off was too difficult. How could she focus on manipulating zippers and buttons when their hands spread over her body, easily taking her clothes off?
Heat covered her as though she’d stepped into a sauna. They slipped off her jeans then her panties. She found it harder to take a breath, even harder to release it before fighting to draw in another.
She closed her eyes for only a moment. When she opened them, they were staring down at her. Their eyes shown, lighting with a red hue that swiftly took over their usual color.
“Your eyes.”
“Just letting our dragons have a little fun, too. Don’t worry, baby. You’re safe.”
“I know.” Her body tingled, the anticipation of what was to come filling her. She took Micah by the hair and brought his mouth to hers again.
Smooth, muscled flesh replaced clothing against her. Teeth and tongues were added to hands.r />
She arched her back as Dane took a nipple into his mouth. Moaning, she urged him to bite her, murmuring the order to take her tit between his teeth. When he did, the zing of pain he gave her leapt through her breast to cascade down the rest of her.
Ryan slid lower to explore the area between her legs. Her heart doubled in speed as he pushed her legs apart, demanding his tongue be at her entrance. When his mouth covered her, his fingers opening her folds to him, she was already climbing toward a climax. He delved into her pussy with his fingers. His tongue lashed her clit, making her body jerk as she shuddered through the agony of the ecstasy pummeling into her.
She was getting hotter and hotter, not only on the inside as her passion flared to life but all along her skin. Sweat dotted her brow and stuck her to the bedspread.
Ryan lifted up and wiped his mouth. “Now.”
Understanding his order, Dane and Micah moved away. Ryan slid over the top of her, and tunneling his fingers through her hair, he brought her upward. His breath flowed over her mouth, and she licked her lips, wanting to catch the small bit of smoke trailing out of his mouth.
She wasn’t certain what would happen when she spoke, but she knew she wanted to say it. “Now.”
His eyes flared quickly, widening for a moment. A low growl rumbled in his chest, and she flattened her hand against him to feel its vibration. “Yes. Now.”
She let out a small yelp as he fell backward, taking her with him. His cock pushed against her pussy’s entrance as she straddled him. Dane moved behind her, and she felt his solid pole against her back. Micah got to his feet, balancing himself on top of the bed. Pre-cum glistened on the end of his cock as he placed it close to her mouth.
A savage urge possessed her. She wanted men who were beasts. She yearned for them to take her as men of the past had done. Rough. Instinctive. Primal.
She didn’t have long to wait.
Moving her into place, Ryan took her hips and zeroed her onto his cock. She gasped as he went deep, driving ever upward with each ensuing plunge. She feared he might splinter her in half, yet she would’ve have welcomed a death like that. His muscles flexed, his pecs jumping as he shoved his hips up. His fingers dug into her flesh, keeping her body as hard against him as possible.
“Now,” whispered Dane as he entered her from behind.
“Oh.” She couldn’t have said anything more. Caught up in the pleasure, she gave into it, letting her mind go free to listen only to her body’s needs.
Micah’s hand on the back of her head guided her mouth to his cock. A moan rolled out of him. She could feel the vibration against her palm as she wrapped it around his cock. Closing her eyes, she gave herself over to them.
Hollowing her cheeks, she flicked her tongue around Micah’s thick shaft. Sliding toward the base, she slowly dragged her lips along his length, taking in every drop of him she could. When he finally released his cum, she’d be ready.
The four of them moved together as though they’d melted and become one person. Her desire fed theirs. Their need spread to her and back.
“Don’t freak out, sugar.”
When she opened her eyes, she knew she had to be dreaming. The air around her was alight with fire. Small, bright whispers of flames bobbed up and down as though suspended by unseen candles. Startled at first, she soon began to marvel at the sight. How many other women could say they’d seen fire dance?
Dane leaned his chest to her back, positioned her for a better angle, and cupped her breasts. His breathy pants stung the back of her shoulders like tiny sparks igniting against her skin.
She was being burned alive. Consumed by the fire of their passion.
Her body trembled as her orgasm broke free. Surging outward from her core, it whipped through her, shaking her strength as she cried out. Briefly, the tiny flames around her grew brighter.
Dane roared his release, pulling out and falling away. “Fuck, yeah.”
Micah gripped her hair, holding her to him as he turned his cum loose to shoot inside her mouth. She swallowed as fast as she could, but some of it spilled from her mouth to trickle down her chin. He pulled his cock out slowly and moved back, collapsing onto the bed.
“Julie.”
She fell forward, her palms flat against Ryan’s chest, and met his gaze. Smiling, she said, “Now.”
He closed his eyes and shouted, the sound deafening her as the flames dancing around her burst apart then disappeared. His hot seed exploded into her, shooting upward until it soon started to dribble down her inner thighs. Spent, she rested against his chest and fought to bring her breathing under control.
No one spoke for several minutes. Words weren’t needed. She understood as well as they did that the commitment to stay together, to be mates, had been consummated.
“I love you guys.”
“Good to know,” quipped Ryan.
“We can move your things in as soon as you want.” Micah pulled her off Ryan to lie between them. Dane moved close again, content to lie near her head.
“Sounds good. But you have to promise me one thing after I get settled in.”
“What’s that?” asked Micah.
Her attention flicked from Dane to Ryan then back to Micah. “You have to promise to take me flying.”
