Roran Page 7

by Clarissa Lake

Roran made his way there slowly, teasing her flesh with his mouth, kissing and licking and nipping his way down her neck. He lingered at the base of her throat while rolling and lightly pinching her nipples between his thumbs and forefingers.

He dragged his mouth ever so slowly from the base of her throat in a path between her breasts while she squirmed underneath him. He clamped his mouth over her right nipple, and Becca crooned a loud ‘ahh.’

She caressed his head while holding him to her breasts and lifted her pelvis to put pressure on her needy little clit.

Delightful waves of pleasure surged to that swollen sensitive bud, causing it to throb with need in the same tempo as Roran sucked on her nipples. Becca yelped as the level of her arousal mushroomed into a full-blown climax.

As she bucked beneath him, he murmured, “that’s it, baby. Get it out. We aren’t finished yet, me’ara.

She finally quieted, sated for the moment. Roran continued kissing and nibbling his way down her body. Becca relished every touch and every kiss from this man who called her soul mate. She gave everything he asked because she was his and he was hers to love and care for, to pleasure and comfort, to support and protect.

Becca still mourned for the life she lost when the aliens stole her from Earth, apparently decades ago. Having Roran as her mate, for all practical purposes, her husband, went a long way toward filling the gap of what she had lost.

She could hardly breathe as he dragged his lips and tongue over her belly, lower and lower. Then he parted the hair of her pussy and teased her little bud with the tip of his tongue. Becky gasped and began to pant and whimper.

Roran pushed her legs open further and up, wrapping his arms around her thighs. He swept his tongue up through her slit, lapping her nectar. Then he settled his mouth over her clit and sucked gently, alternately stroking it with his tongue.

Becca clawed the bed, sobbing and crooning her intense pleasure he was causing her. He took her to a pinnacle of arousal that verged on the precipice of pain like none she had ever felt before.

She screamed and saw starbursts behind her eyelids as her body convulsed in the most potent orgasm she had ever experienced.

“Roran! Oh, God… I’ve never,” sobbed Becca. “So good, I never…” Those were the only words she could speak coherently between pants.

Mostly she just moaned and shuddered with her womb contracting every time he tongued her clit. Finally, she reached down and covered her mound with her hand to let Roran know she had enough.

He kissed her hand then moved up her body, where she cradled his hips between her thighs and the length of his cock rested against her slit. He rested his chest against her breasts, holding most of his weight on his forearms.

He smoothed her hair from her face and caressed her cheeks with his thumbs.

“Ah, Ran… That was so good. I don’t even have words.” She held his face between her hands and smiled. “In my whole life, I have never met a man like you.”

“That’s because we are solmatu,” he murmured then kissed her. “And I’m falling in love with you.”

“Me, too,” she replied. “Now, I want you inside me. And don’t hold back. Take what you need.”

He fucked her hard and fast, enough for her to know he wouldn’t take more than she could give. Yet, he would give her everything she needed. He always fucked her well and thoroughly.

She loved the weight of him on top of her as he slammed into her hard and deep, hitting her sweet spot more times than not. He took her to orgasm two more times before he came and poured his seed into her. Yet, his cock was still hard inside her.

“You need more.” she held his gaze, caressing his face. He nodded hopefully. She smiled. “Roll me over, and we’ll go again.” He grinned and laid a kiss on her lips, pulling out of her.

Becca turned over while Roran knelt behind her. She got to her forearms and knees, presenting her pussy for his pleasure. Although she was tiring a little, she got her second wind when his cock filled her again. “Ah, Ran, mm…”

He leaned over her back and cupped her breasts while he kissed and nuzzled her neck. Becca cooed and hummed those familiar noises of pleasure that he loved, clearly attesting that she enjoyed his touch.

He pinched her nipples gently until her inner walls clenched on his cock, then straightened, drawing his hands down her sides. He gripped her hips and began pumping in and out of her. The angle he entered her with each thrust was even more pleasurable than any other.

Soon Becca was wailing her satisfaction. He drove his cock into her, pistoning into her so that his balls slapped against her clit. She trembled multiple times with mini orgasms that Roran couldn’t stop to savor. Becca didn’t mind because she knew his need was too intense.

She lost herself in the hard rhythm of his pounding into her. Huffing and keening, she held her climax at bay until he roared with the intensity of his orgasm. Becca sobbed and shuddered with each contraction of her inner walls every time he pulsed pumping his seed inside her.

When he had finished, he stayed inside her, pulling back and thrusting intermittently to incite her contractions until her orgasm played out and he waned. They collapsed together on the bed, panting and wholly spent.

“Me’ara.” Roran turned up on his side, facing her and caressed her cheek.

“That was awesome, Roran. It only makes me more determined to see you through this mission. I want you alive and well for many spans to come.” She lay on her side as well and reached over to caress him.

He moved closer and cuddled her against him. “I will do my best.” He pulled the light bedcover over them, and they drifted to sleep.

  Chapter Thirteen

Herminia Trader landed on Volugua mid-rotation while Becca was still sleeping. She hadn’t even stirred when Roran had activated the harness over the bed in case the landing got bumpy. It automatically retracted when the ship touched down.

Becca was only half covered when Roran went to wake her, and she was naked underneath the bedcover. His memory flashed back to their sexual encounter the night before, and he started to get hard. He wished he could just strip off his clothing and go another round or three.

Or he could let her sleep and find Haemeg’s murders on his own. He wouldn’t because he told her she could come. Having her watch his back wasn’t such a bad idea. His prey was not expecting him, and hopefully, they wouldn’t even know who he was.

Becca stirred and stretched with a moan then sat up. She smiled, a little shyly, he thought as she met his gaze. “Hey.”

She stretched again, and Roran went completely hard, watching her arch her back, drawing his attention to her luscious breasts. He crossed the room in two strides to stand in front of her. Taking her hands in his, he pulled her naked body against his.

She was so sexy with her hair mussed, and her eyes heavy-lidded from sleep. He couldn’t bring himself to resist when he couldn’t get the memory of his cock deep into her wet heat out of his head. She still smelled of sex because they were too spent to shower before they fell asleep.

“Ran,” she murmured the nickname she’d given him like an endearment, turning her face up for a kiss.

He meant only to give her a light kiss, but she slew his resolve by slipping her tongue between his lips. The next thing he knew, he’d dropped his pants; then, they were on the bed crosswise, and he was fucking her. A kiss their only foreplay, and they went straight to the main event.

When they finished, Roran gave her a lopsided grin. It wasn’t what he planned, but he sure did enjoy it.

Becca laughed in sheer pleasure, her arms, and legs still wrapped around him with his cock inside her.

“I couldn’t resist with you all naked in my arms and slipping me your tongue. I’d almost think you planned it.”

“No,” she scoffed. “I was thinking about a shower until your hard dick pressed against my belly.” She giggled, and he chuckled.

“I’m not complaining, me’ara. I was thinking about la
st night, and there you were naked…” He kissed her lips lightly and pulled back before any tongues were involved. “You were great last night.”

“You were pretty great yourself.” She sighed.

Reluctantly, he pushed up with his hands and pulled out of her, his cock dripping with their combined juices. Grabbing a cleaning cloth from the shelf by the bed, he wiped himself before any dripped on to his pants.

Meanwhile, Becca got out of bed and hurried into the bathroom to shower, holding her hand to her crotch so she wouldn’t leak those fluids onto the floor. While she was showering, Roran gave the command for the room to clean itself.

On her own, she was showered and dressed in less than ten centi-spans (give or take ten minutes). “I’ll just get a protein bar, and I’m ready to go.”

As they left through the cargo hold, Roran stopped by a large compartment beside the bay door. He gave a command, and it opened.

“A motorcycle?” Becca asked, with a frown. It certainly wasn’t a Harley, more like an all-terrain vehicle with its balloon tires. There were guards on both sides that extended from just behind the front wheel to the fender on the back wheel, and two comfortable looking seats for riders plus a luggage rack.

Roran loaded the box containing a small food processor and some personal com-tablets to trade for weapons.

“We weren’t dressed for it on Napus.” He shrugged.

  “Right. How does it run?”

  “It has a crystal drive.”

“I thought you’d have some kind of hovercraft or flyer.”

“This does. There are retractable wings under the leg guards and a retractable bubble for bad weather and flying,” he said. “And it responds to voice commands.”

He told it to follow and headed out onto the loading dock. They took a beltway to the Voluguan equivalent to customs, where both they and the cycle were scanned for weapons and contraband.

The city of Fujhan was an ancient city with many buildings that reminded her of pictures she had seen of the Kremlin in the Soviet Union.

They traveled paved streets with signs that looked like cuneiform. Their first stop was a weapons non-registered vendor. Of course, the unregistered weapons supplier was in a seedy part of the city. The only reason Roran could leave his cycle outside the building was that he could engage a forcefield around it.

Inside the small storefront, he had Becca watch the door while he negotiated with the seller. Roran got them each a projectile pistol and combat knife, complete with sheaths and holsters they could attach to their empty combat belts. They strapped them on, and Roran showed Becca how to use the pistol.

“I know we didn’t train for this, but you don’t have to be accurate; just shoot in the direction of whoever might be shooting at us.” He didn’t tell her until much later that he wanted her armed in case something happened to him, and he couldn’t protect her. Or that he might need the cover fire.

On leaving the weapons store, they flew the cycle-flyer for about ten minutes across the city to a sprawling residential suburb. They landed in front of Thok Vonged’s house. Once Roran had the names and planet of origin, it had been easy to find out where they lived.

The dwelling didn’t look that different from 20th-century houses on Earth. Roran landed the cycle on the pavement that served as the front yard. The front door was open, and they could hear someone wailing from inside. He shut down the cycle, and they got off. He motioned for Becca to follow him.

They stopped at the doorway, assailed by the scent of burnt flesh and food cooking. A greenish male humanoid lay on the floor, with a female apparently of the same species, sobbing over the body. There was a large, oozing burn in the middle of the male’s chest.

“This didn’t happen too long ago,” Roran murmured to Becca. “That burnt flesh and fabric smell is pretty fresh. Let’s go.”

They hurried back to the cycle, and Roran took off as soon as Becca was on securely behind him. He pushed the cycle to a faster speed than before, so it took them the same amount of time to reach their next stop, the home of Ramido Skywik.

The front yard was unpaved, and there was a mish-mash of flora overgrown in what might have once been a garden. His front door was hanging open, just like Vonged’s home. The burnt flesh smell was less pungent, and the humanoid lying on the floor inside appeared to have died most of a rotation before Vonged.

Roran started to step inside to investigate when a growling reptilian creature came at them. Roran thought he would have to shoot it, but it held them at bay from beside the body.

Becca blinked. If not for the scales, she would have called it a pit bull. Although it looked like a reptile, it acted dog-like, guarding its person. As long as they didn’t advance, it stood its ground.

“I doubt that we will find anything that will tell us who killed him. It looks like he opened his door to a killer with his weapon pointed at him. He backed up, they shot him, and he fell dead right there.”

“Do you think they knew we were coming?” asked Becca.

“It’s starting to look that way. Dead, they can’t tell us who hired them. Haemeg must have gotten into something way bigger than he thought. Both Deeto and Jerdek said he was doing a courier job. His woman said it was high paying. These thugs probably don’t even know why they killed him. They did it for a price. Let’s go.”

“What do you want to bet we find Aslad Lalnan dead, too?” Becca said.

  “I wouldn’t wager against it.”

They arrived at Aslad Lalnan’s flat in a run-down building on the far side of Fujhan. As they walked down the narrow hallway from the elevator on the fifth floor, a massive humanoid came pounding toward them like a linebacker. He knocked Becca down and Roran aside.

“Go!” Becca yelled as she scrambled to her feet to follow.

Roran sprinted back down the hall to the elevator, but the doors were closing. She got there just behind him in time to see the door close while they were too far away to catch it.

“Are there any stairs?” Becca asked.

“Yes, but he will be gone before we get to ground level. I got a good look at him. He’s Sargan military, probably from their elite assassin squad.”

  Chapter Fourteen

“There’s no sense going after him now. Let's go back to the flat and look around,” Roran said, striding back down the hall to Lalnan’s flat.

Becca followed. “This place is a dump.” She said, stepping over the body as Roran had. “This has no more modern conveniences than what I had back on Earth. My apartment was nicer than this.”

“I don’t doubt it. The Sargus Empire is not known for its technological advances. They base their whole economy on slave labor. They can’t buy tech from the Consortium, either. Sale of tech to the Sargans is prohibited because they support slavers who abduct humanoids from sectors outside to sell to the Sargans.”

Roran moved around each room, looking on shelves, opening doors, and drawers. Becca was right in her assessment. The flat was a dump with shabby furniture and the bare minimum of appliances. There were no books or any kind of tech. There was a screen that might have been for entertainment.

“That’s how you got me. I never got to close on the house I was buying.”

“I’m sorry about how you got here, but I’m not sorry I found you.”

“What I want to know is why does he get a laser gun, and we only get bullet guns?”

“Because he’s Sargan military, and we’re not.”

When they got to the front exit, Roran stopped Becca from just walking out the door. “Stay behind me.” He opened the door slowly and did a slow sweep of the area. There were too many places an attacker could hide, but the street was empty.

He opened the door wider and took a step on to the pavement, pistol in hand. A searing pain shot through his upper arm, and he backed inside so fast he nearly knocked Becca off her feet. Roran looked through the small window in the door and saw the shooter on top of a residential stone building across the narrow stre
et.

The air cycle was just a few strides from the door, and the assassin across the street could easily pick them off on their way to it. His arm hurt like hell, but the good thing about lasers is that they instantly cauterized the wound, and he wasn’t losing any blood.

“This guy could keep us here all rotation, or long enough for a few of his friends to come to help him. We can’t wait for that. Come here.” Roran motioned her to the window. “See the stone building over there… The top far corner?”

  “Yes.” Becca nodded.

“That’s where he is. We’re going out shooting at that corner.”

“But what if we hit someone else? Someone who has nothing to do with this?”

“We can’t worry about collateral damage if we want to get out of here alive. Just aim for that wall this side of the corner. As long as bullets are coming at him, he can’t shoot at us without risking getting shot.”

“Okay,” she murmured and nodded, but he could see it was not okay with her.

Even so, she took her gun out and unlocked the safety as he had shown her in the back-alley weapons store. He liked that she was careful not to point the weapon in his direction, pointing it at the ground instead.

  “Ready?”

She nodded, compressing her lips firmly.

“Now!” Roran sidestepped out the door, firing his pistol as he ran to the cycle where he hunkered down behind it.

Becca followed close behind, emptying her gun by the time she reached the cycle safely behind the force field and fell to her knees beside him.

Roran pulled another clip out of a leg pocket in his cargo-type pants and put it in his gun. He stood up, deliberately making himself a target, holding his weapon aimed with both hands toward where they’d last seen the shooter. Just as he hoped, the Sargan couldn’t pass up a good shot at him. Roran fired five shots in rapid succession, and the assailant went down.

“Let’s go! Security off!” A soft beep announced that the forcefield had deactivated, and they quickly climbed on the cycle. Roran thumbed the start button that only responded to his thumbprint, and the bike started with a soft whir. “Hold on.”
