Tainted Kiss (Tainted Knights Book 1) Page 21

by Terri Anne Browning

Her giggle was soft and sexy. “Hurry up, then. I can’t promise not to start stripping you if you don’t.”

I found the room, but when I put the keycard in the lock, the light didn’t immediately turn green.

“Fuck,” I growled, realizing that I had put it in upside down. She had me all kinds of twisted up.

She giggled again and lifted her head to watch what I was doing. “Do you need to put me down?”

“Hush up, you.” I got the card in the lock the right way this time and quickly pulled it free. I heard the lock disengage and then, with a triumphant grunt, I opened the door.

Kicking it shut behind us, I tossed the card aside and turned on a light so I could see where I was going or risk killing us both.

“Bed,” she moaned when I kicked off my shoes. “I need you in a bed. Now.”

I slid my hands to her ass and squeezed. “Whatever you want.”

She squirmed in my hands, her jeans covered pussy resting perfectly against my dick. “Please hurry, Kale.”

I gave up on going slow. I didn’t have the patience for it right then.

Getting to the bed in a few more long strides, I tossed her down onto the mattress then pulled off my shirt. I undid my belt and unsnapped the top button before reaching for her. With her help, I had her completely naked for my eyes to feast on in less than ten seconds.

Santana was lying there, all spread out for me, and still it felt unreal. All day I had been thinking about her, missing her, and aching to see her so badly it felt like I had conjured her out of thin air. Now she was here, and she had given me the one thing that was priceless to me.

I had to stop and drink it all in; commit it all the memory in case it really was some kind of dream. I wanted to remember every single detail of it for when I woke up alone back on the bus. The way her dark hair was spread across the white comforter, how her dark eyes glowed with love and need, the way her nipples were stiff and begging for my mouth. Her abdomen quivered with each inhale, and lower, her legs were spread wide, showing me her glistening wet pussy.

I wished I had a camera, because I needed a picture of this to carry around with me wherever I went.

“Kale?” she said my name hesitantly. “What’s wrong?”

I put my knee on the bed and lowered myself between her legs. Holding myself up with one arm, I skimmed my fingers from her temple to her mouth. “Just taking it all in, doll.”

Her eyes softened. “I love you.”

Like it had when she’d first said those three words, my heart gave a sharp kick against my ribs before it began to pound double time.

“I love you, Santana … so fucking much.”

She arched her hips, rubbing her hot pussy against me. “I need you, babe. Please.”

That was all I needed to hear for now. That breathy, little plea shot straight to my dick, and I lost control.

When I had first seen her, I thought maybe we could take our time tonight, but right then, I was so hard for her I knew if I didn’t slip deep into her tight little body soon, I was going to explode.

I caught her lips with mine, holding her mouth hostage as I explored the rest of her body with my hands. I remembered every spot that could make her sigh, whimper, moan my name. I showed her that I remembered, and then I found a few other places that I knew would make her just as mindless for me as I was for her.

I kissed my way down her body, pausing only for a moment to suck on those delicious nipples before dipping lower. She had lost weight from her illness, but I still thought she was the most beautiful, sexiest woman I had ever set eyes on.

“Kale,” she cried when my lips covered her dripping pussy. Then her hips lifted completely off the bed as she rode my tongue.

She tasted like I imagined ambrosia would. Like sweet nectar that drugged me and made me crave more. I thrust my tongue into her opening, feeling her walls already starting to contract. Pulling back slightly, I blew on her clit twice, making her shiver before flattening my tongue against it.

“Oh, God,” she moaned. “Please. Please. Please.”

With a growl, I stood and finished taking my clothes off. My jeans and boxers landed at my feet, and then I jumped back into bed, diving between her legs once again for just one more taste.

Her hands fisted in my hair, holding me against her, yet trying to back away from my questing tongue.

“Kale, now.” It wasn’t a plea, but a command, and I lifted onto my knees between her legs and grasped my throbbing dick in one hand as I guided it toward her entrance.

I wasn’t easy with her. I couldn’t have been, even if there had been a gun to my head. The only thing that could have stopped me from fucking her so hard was her and only her. One word from her, and I would have stopped, would have made love to her slowly and carefully. Her cries only begged for more. Harder. Deeper.

I grasped her ass in my hands, lifting her off the bed to meet my thrusts, bouncing her on my dick as I dived into her as deeply as humanly possible without breaking her in half.

Her nails bit into my outer thighs, spurring me on, demanding more.

I could feel my release building. My balls tightened, my dick thickening even more inside her. I could tell she was almost there, too. The way her thighs tightened around my waist; how her breathing was coming in hard, little pants; and her eyes started to drift closed. They were opened to mere slits now, but she was watching me through her lashes, begging for all I could give her.

My hold on her ass tightened, and I knew I would hate myself when I saw the bruises later, but right then, we were both lost.

She slid one of her hands down her flat waist and over her mound, her index and ring fingers spreading her pussy lips wide as she touched her clit with her middle finger. Watching her touch herself as I drilled my dick into her over and over again, it sent me careening over the edge.

The first shot of come hit her cervix, and her eyes rolled back into her head. Her entire body went stiff as her inner walls convulsed around my shaft. I was trapped inside her, but I was a willing prisoner as I watched her come harder than I had ever seen her come before.

My dick flexed inside her, releasing more of my seed into her, filling her up with everything she had begged me for and more.

It was a long time before either of us could move again. Santana was tucked against my side, one of her bare legs slung over both of mine as she clung to me like I was her last link to the real world. I was sure now that this wasn’t a dream, and fuck, I had never been so happy to be alive.

She lifted her head from my shoulder, causing her hair to cascade to one side as she looked down at me. “I need you to forgive me.”

I frowned. “Forgive you for what, doll?”

She bit her bottom lip and shook her head, tickling me with a few locks of her hair. “For sending you away. I’m so sorry. I cried so much when you left because I was so scared I fucked everything up.”

I cupped her face in my hand. “There is nothing to forgive you for, Santana. If it had been you in that picture with two guys all over you, I would have hit the roof. I wouldn’t have known what to believe, either.” I traced a finger over her bottom lip, rubbing away the sting she must have given herself. “Thank you for believing me about it. Trust is the most important thing in any relationship.”

“I do trust you. You’ve shown me over and over again that I’m important to you. You’re a good guy, Kale. That’s pretty rare these days.” She crossed her arms over my chest and rested her chin on them. “You made me fall for you hard and fast.”

“Hey,” I teased. “You had me falling first.”

She rolled her dark eyes. “So, we fell together.”

I pulled her completely on top of me. The feel of her silky heat brushing against me waking my body up all over again.

Feeling my dick thickening against her abdomen, her eyes lowered to slits again, giving me that dreamy, well-fucked look.

“Nine weeks is a long time to go h
ungry for you, doll. How long do you think it would take to fulfill this aching need I have for you?”

She pressed her lips to mine, then moved to nip on my earlobe. “Never, I hope.”

I closed my eyes, losing myself in the feel of her against me, of holding her and being able to dive into her sweet heat anytime I wanted to.

  “Me, too, doll. Me, too.”

  TWENTY FOUR

  Santana

We stayed locked in our room until it was time to go to the show on Saturday. I had none of my things with me since Kin and I had dropped our carry-on cases at the bus the night before on our way to surprise the guys. That meant I didn’t get to change clothes until we got back to the bus, where the others were already waiting on us, including Travis.

Climbing onto the bus, I saw that Kin and Jace were still glued at the hips and lips, but at least they had clothes on. I figured they had gotten their own hotel room the night before. I couldn’t see them going at it like rabbits on the same bus as Jace’s little sister.

Sin, Gray, and Cash were sitting around the living area of the bus, looking bored. When they saw me with Kale, though, they perked up.

“Good to see you,” Cash said as he got up to hug me. “Glad you’re feeling better. I had food poisoning once. I’ve never been so sick in my life.”

“Yeah, it wasn’t fun; that’s for sure.”

Gray gave me a fist bump when I passed him, and I even got a semi-smile from Sin, which was really a huge honor. I doubted the guy ever truly smiled. Travis was standing in the little kitchenette, doing something on his phone. He barely gave me a second glance before turning away with a look on his face that suggested he thought I smelled bad or something.

“Where’s Kassa?” I asked when I noticed she wasn’t there.

“She’s still in the bathroom, primping,” Gray grunted out, lifting a bottle of beer to his lips. “Doesn’t matter that I told her she’s beautiful, she still takes a fucking hour to get ready.”

“Just because you tell me I’m beautiful, doesn’t mean I feel beautiful,” she sassed at him as she came down the small hall from the back of the bus.

I met her in the kitchenette and hugged her.

“Hey! It’s so good to see you. How are you feeling?”

“Other than having a new fear of eating anything that comes from the ocean, I’m good as new.” I gave her a once over, taking in her makeup and clothes. She hadn’t worn this much makeup the few times I had hung out with her in the past. She didn’t need it, but it didn’t look overdone like some chicks tended to do. It was edgy, definitely rocker-ish. She looked hot as fuck. A fact that Gray seemed to take notice of immediately.

“Go fucking change right now,” he raged.

I had barely taken in her outfit, but now, all eyes were on what she was wearing.

Leather pants that looked like they had been spray-painted over her legs, and a fishnet top over a black bra. Her hair was pulled up into a sleek ponytail on top of her head, showing off her graceful neck and the gold hoops dangling from her ears.

Kassa turned her blue eyes on Gray and gave him a smirk. “Make me,” she murmured in a husky voice as she slid past me.

“Make you?” he repeated with a growl that was dark and a little scary. “Make you, Kas?” One second he was on the couch, drinking his beer, and the next, he was across the bus with her tossed over his shoulder. His hand landed on her ass with a loud clap. “If that’s what you want, then I’ll fucking make you, little caterpillar.”

He hauled her away, muttering something to her that only she could hear. As they passed me, Kassa shot me a wicked wink, and I tried to hide my grin.

Placing his phone on the counter beside me, Travis half-turned toward me, his back to the others. “Surprised you’re here,” he commented in a voice that was oddly quiet.

I lifted a brow. He hadn’t willing spoken to me since our clash over that damn photo shoot in the past. “Oh, yeah? Why is that?”

“Figured after that picture in the tabs you wouldn’t want to deal with the rocker bullshit.”

I glanced over his shoulder at Kale who had taken Gray’s place on the couch. Kin had broken away from Jace long enough to say something to him, and he was grinning as he spoke to her.

Forcing my eyes back to Travis, I gave him a closer look. “I trust Kale.”

“Huh,” he said with a roll of his eyes and a slight sneer. “Figured you’d be smarter than that.”

I stepped closer to him, not liking what he was insinuating. “What does that mean?”

“These dipshits have a new girl every night of the week. Every one of them, Santana. On the road, they don’t care what’s waiting for them back home. There are different rules on this bus.”

“If you’re trying to make me think that Kale would fuck around, you’re going to have to try harder. He loves me.”

The sneer grew bigger. “Not what he was saying when he had his hands on those two groupies two weeks ago, but whatever.”

“What the fuck did you just say?”

I jumped at the sound of Kale’s voice. He was standing right behind Travis now and neither one of us had heard him.

Lifting my eyes to his face, I realized I had never seen this side of him before and wondered if this was what he had looked like when he’d confronted Wade all those weeks ago.

Travis was slow to turn and face him, but when he did, he lifted his hands and took a step back, nearly knocking into me.

I crossed to Kale, putting my hands on his waist. “Babe, calm down.”

He pulled me into him long enough to press his lips to my forehead, his eyes never leaving Travis. “Go to Sin,” he commanded.

Sin was on his feet in the next instant, taking my elbow and pulling me as far away from Kale as possible inside the bus. “Stay behind me,” he told me in a rough voice. “It’s about to get real ugly.”

  “But …”

“What did you just say to her, Travis?” Kale gritted out, and I noticed his fists were clenched at his sides.

Thinking he was going to get into a fight then and there, I tried to move around Sin, but Sin put his arm out, blocking my way.

“It was nothing,” Travis tried to backtrack. “I was just telling her how it is with rockers sometimes. That’s all.”

“And how is it with rockers?” Kale stepped closer. “What was I saying when I had my hands all over those groupies?”

Jace lifted Kin off his lap and put her on the couch. Then he stood behind Kale. Cash moved to flank him on the right, but he didn’t seem to notice either of them as his eyes drilled into a now pale-faced Travis.

Their road manager gave a forced laugh. “It was a joke. I was only playing.”

“From where I was sitting, it sounded more like a jealous, little weasel lying to a girl who won’t give him two seconds of her time about a guy who is about to use said weasel’s face as a punching bag,” Kin said with mock yawn. “But that’s just from where I’m sitting.”

“Kale, it’s okay. I didn’t believe him,” I tried to reason. I told him I trusted him, and I did. Nothing Travis said was going to change that.

“Who took the picture, Travis?” Kale’s voice was starting to scare me now. It was low, menacing, and dangerous. I shivered as he took yet another step toward Travis, backing him into the kitchenette. “Was it you? Did you set that shit up?”

Travis’s back hit the fridge, but Kale kept inching closer.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. What you did with those two girls is on you, man.”

“Wrong answer!” Kale roared. He drew his fist back and swung, but instead of hitting the other guy, it made contact with the fridge right beside his head.

Travis flinched. “I figured you would break at some point. Better she sees it now rather than later.”

“Answer the fucking question, motherfucker.” Kale leaned into his personal space, his nose only inches from Travis’s. “Did you set it up and take the picture?”
/>   “No, of course not.”

I could see the lie in his eyes from where I was standing, so I knew Kale had to see it, too.

I grasped Sin’s shirt, twisting it between my fingers as I turned my head away, anticipating what was going to happen next. When the first crack of fist meeting flesh sounded throughout the bus, I didn’t say a word.

Travis groaned in pain, but he wasn’t able to move out of the way of the next punch.

I kept my head turned into Sin’s back, not wanting to see what Kale did to the guy, but I wasn’t going to leave, either. He deserved the ass beating he was getting.

He had set up the picture that had nearly ended my relationship with Kale. I wanted to hit him a few times myself, but from the groans and moans coming from him, I figured my boyfriend was taking care of it for me.

I heard Gray come running from the back of the bus, and I peeked around Sin to see what he was going to do.

“What the fuck?” He took in what was going on and started to pull Kale off Travis, but Jace stopped him. “Dude, Emmie is going to murder you.”

Kale kept wailing on Travis with enough force to make the bus shake. Seeing Travis’s face for the first time, I couldn’t help gasping. His left eye was already starting to swell, and there was a gash right under it. His lips were swollen, and blood dribbled from his mouth, mixing with spit.

Pushing Sin out of my way, I rushed across the bus and pushed the other guys out of my way, too.

“Kale.” I grabbed his arm when he raised his fist to hit Travis again.

He went stiff at my touch, his enraged hazel eyes dropping to mine.

“Babe, it’s okay. You made your point. He’s not worth it.”

He pulled his arm free then turned and wrapped it around me, pulling me close as he kissed the top of my head.

“He almost made me lose you,” he whispered.

I hugged him tighter. “No way. I love you, and I trust you. Nothing he could have said or done would have made that happen.”

Jace and Cash moved around us and picked Travis up by the collar of his shirt. “You’re out of here, dickhead.”
