“That port has access to all the systems in the Alien Quarter. They could conceivably have access to anything if they had the codes or the ability to, ah, what is it your kind calls it, hack,” he said and Tessa nodded. She had those skills and knew a good hacker could get into anything if he could get to a port like that.
“How did he get past the security code to open the hatch in the first place? That would be the biggest hurdle for a good hacker. Even the best can’t do that. Not without help anyway,” Tessa said in surprise. She knew she was right. The attacker had been human and no human would have the codes to get into the panel. Or no human should anyway. Tessa was beginning to realize the physical attack was the lesser of the problems with the activities of the bad guys from the night before. Jobol nodded and before he could say anything the doors opened and Jindal came in. he looked good, healthy and was smiling.
“Good morning Ambassador. Miss Sealand,” he said in greeting. Tessa stood with Jobol.
“Good morning Jindal. Did you attend to your duties?” Jobol asked. Jindal was looking at Tessa but answered his boss.
“I did indeed and learned other things of interest as well. First though I must thank you Miss Sealand. You saved my life last night and I do not take that lightly. If there is anything within my realm of abilities to give you I will do so,” he said reaching out his hands. Tessa blushed and returned the gesture. His fingers could wrap around her much smaller hands and there was warmth in his grasp and his eyes. She felt a tingling hum within her at his touch, finding him completely charming and sweet.
“You are welcome Jindal, please call me Tessa. I am glad I could help out,” she told him. He smiled.
“I should also tell you I met your friend Lindesty. She was worried about you. I informed her you were in our care for this afternoon. She was relieved and asked that you contact her when you can,” Jindal told Tessa.
He went on. “I have gone over the events of last night with Station Commander Earhart and let her know we will be investigating the incident as well. It seems we are not the only ones to do so. Many of our neighbors are curious why humans would be breaking into our computer system. Especially with the conference approaching,” Jindal said. Jobol nodded acknowledgment of that.
“Is there anything else Jindal?” Jobol asked his aide.
“Yes Ambassador. I am afraid I may have over stepped my authority but I felt it justified,” he said and the Ambassador’s smile lessened.
“Explain please,” he said.
“On my way to the security offices I was approached by several other Ambassadors aides. They have, of course, heard about the incident and Tessa’s description is recognized. It seems some of her past actions have gained her friends she did not know she had,” he said.
“The Gorgons?” Jobol said.
“Yes, the Gorgons” he answered looking at Tessa. Tessa was beginning to feel like the alternate reality she was finding herself in was becoming overwhelming. Alien friends! “Other races as well. The Hitock want to thank her specifically for helping a member of their political office last week. They have been looking for you Tessa, to thank you. Anyway, when I was in the security office Mr. Norton was saying some disparaging things about you Tessa and I felt I had to represent you as best I could. You saved my life after all. So I told the Station Commander that Tessa’s compassion and bravery have done more for human alien relations than their own diplomatic efforts have done in some time,” he said the last part with a nervous look at Jobol. Jobol frowned briefly, thinking. Then he smiled.
“I do not see how that is a problem Jindal. It would have been better to come from me, but I will make sure to back up your words. Check with me next time before you make a statement like that again. How did the Station Commander take it?”
“She was appreciative of the information. Norton, however was not,” he answered. Tessa felt she had to speak up. Her curiosity was piqued, although she as feeling a lot of other things, too. Her curiosity seemed the safest one to follow just then.
“I don’t remember helping the Hitock any great way,” she said.
“Do you not remember when you were in the lower section and a Hitock fell. A few people from Hitock area of space were gathering around and you helped him up?” Jindal asked. Jobol was watching the conversation with apparent casual interest.
“He tripped and I gave him a hand up. How is helping someone who falls a big deal? Isn’t it the right thing to do?” Tessa asked in return.
“Well, two things there Tessa,” The Ambassador began. “The Hitock were at war with several of their neighbors up until just a few years ago. Since then they have striven wisely for peace. Unfortunately, their neighbors still remember, and seeing an old enemy go down presented them with an opportunity of retribution, in their eyes. The Hitock, you may have noticed, have legs that bend both forward and back. Unfortunately, if they go down and their legs are bent forward they cannot get back up on their own. If you had not helped him he would have been unable to defend himself. Once he was back up, with your help, his old enemies backed off. They knew they could not take him on at that point. You essentially saved his life. Hitock, as do most, take that seriously,” Jobol finished with amusement at Tessa’s surprise.
“You are a person who does what she thinks is right. That is not always an admirable trait for some. For us of the Kindar race it is especially treasured and you deserve any accolades that are coming your way,” Jindal said with a soft smile. “In fact there are many who would like to have a dinner in your honor. They asked me to convey this desire. To be held at your convenience,” he finished. Tessa was floored. What the hell?! She could not get a grip on what was happening to her and had to take several deep breaths. She was just a nobody from a backwater of Earth!
Jobol then stood and said, “It is enough for now. I would suggest the dinner be held off until tomorrow night. Speaking of food, could you arrange some for us Jindal? I am feeling hungry and I imagine our guest would not mind something to eat.” Tessa felt relief. Jindal nodded and left to get a meal for them.
“You can relax Tessa Sealand. You have had an eventful day and it is not half over with yet. It is not right that we continue pressing on you as we have been. Let us discuss something of lesser consequence. Jindal tells me you were the person who sold him the gift for my mother?” he asked. Tessa could not help her response. She laughed.
Chapter Four – A Surprising Respite
The meal was incredibly tasty. It was a fish meal from the Kindar home world and had a spicy kick to it that she enjoyed. It was coupled with a vegetable rice dish that was the perfect complement. They ate casually on the sofa. The wine they served was fruity but not strong-tasting. Tessa felt a hum in her body from her tiredness and possibly the wine and she could not keep from smiling. She was having a comfortable meal with one of the most important people on the station. It was amazingly sedate and calm. When they finished she leaned back on the couch with her wine glass in her hand and sighed, kicking her feet.
“Thank you guys for this. The food was wonderful and this wine is great. I have never tasted anything like it. I am feeling relaxed and it is nice,” she said knowing she was just making small talk and she was afraid it showed.
“You are quite welcome Tessa. I am glad you enjoyed the meal. We too needed some time to rest and we will not be having many moments like this until after the conference. You are an exquisite woman and good company. You must have been told that before,” Jobol sad and turned sitting side ways on the couch, facing her.
“Indeed,” Jindal said taking the same position. Both Kindar were facing her and looking at her with appreciative gazes. She blushed.
“That is a nice compliment. I am enjoying my time here. Your race is a wise one I think. I am glad I have got to learn more about your people,” Tessa said.
“It is good for us as well. Humans are an interesting if confusing bunch, I must say. We do sense great potential within your people. It is one of the reasons our gov
ernment decided to place an Ambassador on Station One. Your people are an up and coming race. It behooves us to learn as much about them as we can. You are a wealth of information my dear. Would you object to further exploration between us?” Jobol said softly placing on of his hand on her shoulder. Tessa looked into his eyes and could see something more than just appreciation. She sensed he meant more than casual conversation and her body reacted with favor at the idea. Jindal reached over and stroked her hair. She turned her head to look at the Ambassador and his aide and she could see their reflection in the mirror across the room. Both Kindar were gazing at her and she was small in appearance between them.
She removed her jacket. Her red silk wrap was rumpled so her white under-suit was showing in the gaps. Her hair was wild and she looked tired to her own eyes. Yet she felt an exhilaration she had never felt before. The touch of their hands was causing a rise in feelings that was confusing for her mind but not at all confusing for her body. She was feeling a desire and it enticed her shockingly. They continued looking at each other in the mirror and her wildness and need took over. There was nothing in their gaze or manner that showed anything but kindness and their own desire for her.
“I guess it would be a good thing to further our knowledge of one another,” she said and saw a sexy little smile came to her lips. They both smiled bigger and Jobol chuckled.
“I agree. All knowledge is precious and I hope you know we treat our time with you as such,” he said. She felt Jindal’s hands go to the back of her neck before sliding down to the small of her back. Jobol reached down and cupped one of her large breasts gently, yet somehow erotically too. Tessa breathed in sharply at his touch and put one of her hands on his muscular thigh. His trousers had a slick feel that made caressing him almost mandatory, she thought to herself as she did just that. She turned to face him more fully and Jindal continued to stroke her back. As she came up on her knees so she could be face to face with Jobol, Jindal ran his hands down and cupped her buttocks. She arched her back, leaning forward to Jobol and soon found herself kissing his soft lips. His eyes flared up in a purple fire that warmed her as his lips did. He slid her silk wrap off to her waist revealing her tight white under-suit. He seemed to enjoy its smooth feeling as much as she did his pants under her hands. Then she put her hands on his chest and she realized how strong he was. He embraced her eagerly and she returned it, letting herself go in the moment.
“Oh Jobol, oh yes,” she moaned unable to stop her voice.
“Yes Tessa, ah yes,” he returned as he slid the shoulders of her top down, baring her breasts. “Oh my,” he whispered and bent his head. When his lips touched her breasts Jindal ran his hands between her thighs and she cried out with a flare of desire like she had never felt. The combination of both Kindar seeing to her needs was unbelievable. Jobol began shifting his position and Jindal moved away for a moment. Jobol gently lifted her up and spread his legs out, down the couch. She laid herself down on top of him. A glance in the mirror showed her Jindal now kneeling between her and Jobol’s legs. He commenced caressing her calves and thighs while Jobol embraced her fully.
“I sensed this moment when we met in the security offices my dear. I knew we would learn much from you and I do so with much pleasure,” he said. Tessa could only moan before kissing him fiercely as her desire took away any last inhibitions she may have had within her. She cried out when his kissed her breasts and then her neck. She felt Jindal tugging her top down further as Jobol wiggled out of his pants underneath her. It was then that she felt the strength of his thick, hard shaft against her legs and she could sense the need to join with this being. Jindal lifted her hips and Jobol positioned himself. As he entered her opening she cried out again. He pushed himself deep inside her and intense feelings gushed over her. She suddenly felt a greed she had never felt before. She wallowed in the pleasure that roared through her body to her mind as he touched her center with his love.
“Ahhh Jobol, oh, ahhh!” Tessa cried in ecstasy. When he released his own desire within hers it was as if she had reached a pinnacle of perfection she had not thought possible. It was as if she had become one with the alien and she felt a union come over her of galaxy-wide importance. As the movement of their hips slowed to a stop she caught her breath and could not get the smile off of her face. She twitched when Jindal’s hands ran up her thighs again and she pushed herself off of Jobol so she was kneeling between his legs. She turned to the now naked Ambassador’s aide, amazed that she was ready and eager to duplicate the experience with him. She was on a ride that she did not want to ever stop and reached out to embrace him. He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her roughly with his pent up desires. She could feel through his skin how strong his desires were. He wanted her as strongly as she now wanted him. Jindal’s hands cupped her breasts and his lips ran over her throat causing electricity to run down her spine and back up. Then he cupped her rear end in both hands, securing her position. She felt the eagerness between her legs stiffening and growing into the position it needed to be to consummate their lovemaking. He lifted her and then lowered her down so that he entered her opening. She arched her back with a howl of moaning, giving voice to the pleasure she felt returning. His light blue eyes flared up into raging starlight that sank into her deeply. Over and over he thrusted, and when it was done it took her many minutes to get her breath back. When she did she sat leaning against Jobol with her legs over Jindal’s thighs. He stroked her feet and Jobol kept a hand on her belly. She felt a contentment she had not felt in a long time. Well, she told herself, Lindesty was always saying she needed to get laid.
“I hope Tessa, that you do not feel we took advantage of you,” Jobol said.
“No, you didn’t. I wanted it to,” she responded happily.
“That is good. No such experience should ever come from anything but willingness,” Jindal said.
“Then we did it right,” Tessa said. She could feel herself beginning to sink into her exhaustion, realizing she had been up for over twenty-four hours. She was surprised it had taken this long. She hated to say so but she felt she needed to go back to her quarters and rest. The two Kindar agreed. She was sure they had work they were delaying due to her presence. Now that the moments were over she needed to figure out what just happened.
Chapter Five – Possibilities in The Chaos
“Hey Lindesty. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It has been a wild day,” Tessa told her friend when she got her on the line. Tessa had been walked home by Jindal. Once there she had got cleaned up and changed into her pajamas and a robe. Her hair was in a ponytail and she was ready to call it a day. She had been shocked to see that her lovemaking with the guys had lasted for several hours. She had thought it was over far too quickly!
“I am just glad you are okay. The Ambassador’s aide let me know you were all right. In fact, I have been meeting many Ambassador aides today,” she said with a mischievous smile.
“What do you mean? Did you do something reckless too?” Tessa said with a grin and a sip of tea. It wasn’t as good as the Kindar tea, but it was soothing.
“Me, hell no. The Alien Quarter is abuzz about the human who saved an alien. Many of them want to throw you a dinner tomorrow night,” she said and Tessa sighed. She had been approached by several delegations on her way back to her quarters. She had a sudden inspiration.
“I know. How would you like to join me Lindesty? I was told I could bring a friend and I could sure use your support,” she said and enjoyed the shock on her friend’s face.
“Are kidding, really?” She asked.
“Of course. You have been my best and only friend on Station One since day one. I don’t see a problem if you are into it,” Tessa told her. Lindesty smiled softly.
“You are an easy friend to have Tess. I would love to go. Boss man won’t mind me missing a shift. One of his dancers at a meeting of Ambassadors can only be good promotion for the dance hall,” Lindesty said with a giggle. Tessa joined her laughter.
> “Great. How about breakfast in the morning and we can figure out what to wear?” Tessa asked. Lindesty agreed.
“Good idea. You look exhausted. I want to hear all about it then though, right?” Lindesty responded.
“You bet girlfriend. You will love it. Talk to you then,” Tessa said. Lindesty agreed and they ended the conversation. She stood with a sigh and her door notice chimed.
“Who’s there?” She called out.
“Commander Julia Earhart Miss Sealand,” came the reply. What? Tessa thought. Just what I need.
“Come,” she called and the door opened and the Commander walked in. She was out of uniform wearing a red blouse and slacks with a blue vest. Her hair was free and falling around her shoulders. She really was a beautiful woman, Tessa thought, she could still see the strength and control in the woman’s green eyes. She didn’t need a uniform for that.
“Good evening Commander, how may help you?” Tessa said. Trying her best to be formal. This woman ran the station and was Earth’s representative in all the decisions made on Station One. “Can I get you anything?” she asked before realizing she really didn’t have anything to give her.
“That is alright. I wanted to check in and see how you are doing. Before I got off duty I was informed you had returned home. You look pretty beat if I may say so,” the Commander told her. Tessa smiled and nodded.
“It has been a long day, but no worries. I haven’t crashed yet,” she told the woman.
“You are a tough young woman Miss Sealand. I reviewed the incident tapes from last night. You did a good job against the perpetrators. You may have noticed it created quite a stir,” she said with a quirky smile. Tessa laughed and the Commander joined her. They sat on the little sofa Tessa had managed to scrounge.
“Yeah. I didn’t mean for it too. I actually met the Kindar Ambassador’s aide at work earlier yesterday afternoon. When I saw him laying out like that I just had to try and help. I didn’t realize everything that was going on,” she told her. The Commander nodded.
