by Casey, London

Mutty groaned and rolled his neck.

  “Feed him,” Cres ordered.

One of the guys behind Mutty pulled out a needle and stuck it in his arm.

“Morphine,” Lenny said. “Trying to keep him calm.”

“Yeah, he looks calm,” Miller said.

“Jerry shot him in the back,” Lenny said. “Broke his spine. Mutty can’t walk ever again. Then he stabbed him in the gut a few times. And then he cut out Mutty’s tongue.”

  “Holy shit,” Gaige said.

  “Show them,” Lenny said.

Cres grabbed Mutty’s mouth and squeezed. When Mutty’s mouth opened, Miller turned his head.

  “Fuck,” he whispered.

“Yeah,” Lenny said. “That’s what Jerry did. He stapled a note to Mutty’s chest. Basically said the deal was off for good and that he would come for us soon. Taking Mutty’s tongue was a way to warn us not to talk.”

“Yet here we are, talking,” Miller said.

“I want that fucker dead,” Lenny said.

  “We all do,” Blaine said.

“We know you can do it,” Cres said. “So this is our peace offering, for now. The second Jerry is dead, our war is back on. For now, we’ll hang back. Stick to the water, the beach, the wonderful tourist pussy that rolls through.”

“Okay,” Miller said. “We don’t trust you. We never will trust you.”

“I get that,” Lenny said. “So let me up my offering a little.” Lenny took out a gun.

Everyone jumped back. Blaine grabbed Miller and threw him back even more, making sure he was in front of the President.

“Goddammit,” Miller growled. He took out his gun and knocked Blaine away. “Let them fucking kill me!”

“I’m not killing anyone,” Lenny said. He turned the gun and offered it to Miller. “You are.”

“What are you talking about?” Miller asked.

“Shoot Mutty,” Lenny said. “Put him out of his misery.”

  “You’re fucking kidding,” Gaige said.

“No,” Lenny said. “I can’t do it. I can’t kill my own brother. He’ll go with honor to die by an enemies bullet.”

“I’m not touching your fucking gun,” Miller said. “No fingerprints.”

Lenny put his gun away. “Fine.”

  Miller lifted his gun.

“Wait,” Cres said. “Remember what we said. This isn’t a truce. It’s an offering. Jerry has to die.”

“Trust me,” Miller said. “That piece of shit won’t be around much longer.”

  “Because if…”

  Miller pulled the trigger.

Mutty’s head bounced and he was dead.

The gunshot echoed in the large room. It was then followed by silence. The Coast Road MC guys stared at their deceased VP.

  “Come on,” Miller said.

He led the way out and back to the motorcycles. His heart was pounding. Jerry was cutting ties and ready to make his final stand.

  “Now what?” Blaine asked.

Miller grinned. “I have to go get ready. I have a hot date tonight.”

  eighteen.

  “He’s going to be fine.”

Ella forced a nod and watched as Ava rolled up a messy diaper. She lifted Beck from the bathroom floor and gently put him down in the bath water. Beck instantly started to splash - something he loved to do in the water - which told Ella the water wasn’t either too hot or too cold.

  “Did you hear me?”

Ella looked at Emily. She nodded. “I know. I trust you. I swear. It’s just…”

“It’s different,” Emily said. “We’re strangers. I get it. I know circumstances are a little dangerous too.”

  “A little?”

“Nothing is going to happen here,” Emily said. “This place…”

“I know the compound is protected,” Ella said. “What about outside? It’s just me and Miller.”

“Trust me,” Emily said. “I’m sure Miller has it all taken care of. Do you want to live in fear?”

Ella looked at Beck and he wiped bubbles off Ava’s face as she laughed.

“For Beck? Yes. So he doesn’t understand pain.”

“I’m sorry, Ella, but he’s going to understand pain. When he gets old and asks about his father…”

Ella shut her eyes and nodded. “I know.”

“Okay, let’s not get upset right now. You look way too hot right now to cry. I’m serious. Miller is going to lose his mind.”

“He’s going to be counting down the minutes to tear your clothes off,” Mia said with a sly grin.

  Ella started to blush. “Stop.”

“Okay, get her out of here,” Ava said. “This is our night with the baby.”

“She’s right,” Mia said and waved a hand. “You have to go.”

  “Please…”

“We know what to do,” Emily said. “Trust us. We know how to feed him. How to burp him. How to change him. We have the crib in the room. Nothing is going to happen. I’ll check on him every hour when he’s sleeping.” Emily laughed. “I don’t want to see your shining face until tomorrow morning.”

“And you better smell like sex,” Mia said.

“And look like it,” Ava said.

“What does sex look like?” Ella asked.

“You’ll find out,” Emily said and opened the bathroom door.

Ella left. The door shut and locked. The three women started to fuss over Beck. Ella heard the water splashing and forced herself to walk away and out of the room. She opened the door and Miller stood there, holding a rose. The second Ella saw it, she burst into tears.

“Ah, shit,” Miller said. He wrapped a big arm around her and hugged her. “He’ll be fine for the night.”

It made Ella cry even more that Miller knew why she was emotional. And that he didn’t tell her to suck it up and stop.

Miller slipped a finger under her chin and then wiped a tear off her cheek. “Hey, if you want to stay here, we can. I don’t want you uncomfortable.”

“You’d do that for me?” Ella asked.

Miller slid his hand to the small of her back and pulled her tight to his body. “Truthfully? Fuck no. I want you all to myself tonight. I want to fucking devour you in every way possible. I want to possess you. You’re mine, darling. I’m just trying to pretend to be nice.”

Ella couldn’t remember a time she was so turned on before. In the arms of the biker, staring into his outlaw eyes. She wanted him to possess her. To keep her as his own, have her forever. But she would have to start with tonight.

  “Let’s go,” Ella whispered.

Miller kissed her forehead and took her by the hand.

The night then sped right up. As they walked by the bar, everyone shouted and cheered for them. Lifting drinks, calling out, it was like they were getting married. Outside, Miller gave Ella his helmet. She climbed on the back of his ride - just like so many times before - and slid her hands around his body, gripping at his t-shirt. The motorcycle roared between her legs as Miller rode toward the gates. Two prospects opened the gates and shut them behind them as they left.

  Ella’s heart raced.

She feared for her life. She feared for her son’s life. She feared for Miller’s life. More than all that, her heart raced because of the intense feelings. She never stopped loving Miller. Not for a single day. That fire never stopped burning and with each mile on the back of his motorcycle, the fire raged more and more.

As the motorcycle sped through Frelen, night lights turned into a night sky and nothing else. They weren’t going to a restaurant it seemed. Ella dug at Miller’s stomach, feeling the hardness of muscle, but what she wanted was to get his attention. To ask what the hell they were doing. Where they were going.

Her answer came a short while later when Miller turned off the main part of the road. Just like the old days, always finding some path or off road way to go. When Miller finally stopped, they were far away from the road, far from the busier part of Frelen, basically out in the middle
of nowhere.

“This is it,” Miller said as he climbed off the steel ride. “This is our night, darling.”

“I thought we were going to a restaurant. Getting drinks.”

“Fuck that,” Miller said. “Had one of the guys take care of things.”

To Ella’s shock, there was a box next to a giant rock. He had beer, ice, vodka, and food. He took out a blanket and whipped it open, putting it down. He then pointed up and grinned.

“Look,” he said. “We don’t need some cheap music at a restaurant or a waiter driving us crazy. We have the stars. Like we always had, darling.”

Ella started to gush. She slowly dropped to her knees on the blanket. Miller got down and quickly reached for her. He pulled her closer and wasted no time in kissing her. They got right to business as they started to go at it. Their mouths and tongues touching and flirting. Ella holding tight to Miller’s leather cut as she pulled at him, wanting him. Miller came at her, putting her on her back on the blanket. The weight of Miller’s strong body felt so good and comfortable.

“This is like that first time,” Miller said as he broke the kiss. “That wild fucking first time.”

“Do it again,” Ella whispered. “Right now.”

“Oh, I fucking planned on it, Ella.” Miller slipped a hand to the front of her pants and opened the button. “You’re the appetizer. And the main course. And the fucking dessert. All night.”

Ella forced her hand between her body and Miller’s and cupped between his legs. His dick was solid, thick, wanting out already.

They opened each other’s pants and Miller moved to his knees. His hands pulled at Ella’s pants. She arched her back and watched Miller slide her pants and panties down. She felt her panties clinging to her sex but Miller peeled them away. He tossed her clothes to the side and his hands moved up her legs and between. Ella opened her legs and felt his fingertips graze her soft pussy. She groaned and thrust, her toes curling, her body waiting with anticipation.

Miller took his hands from her body and touched himself. He pushed his jeans down far enough to show a thatch of hair and the heavy root of his dick. He was ready to go, pulling his cock out of his jeans, stroking himself once, and then coming forward to have Ella to himself.

The second he touched her, Ella cried out.

“Scream all you want out here, darling,” Miller said with a grin. “Nobody will ever hear you.”

Miller grabbed her by the hips and thrust, opening her body. His steel rod pounded deep into her core. Even though she was wet, ready, wanting him, the pressure of his thick cock filling her was enough to make Ella crunch forward and gasp for air as she lost her breath. Miller thrust again, pressing deeper. Ella reached down and pressed at his lower stomach.

  “Easy,” she groaned.

“No,” Miller said. “Nothing is easy for us, darling.”

Miller slipped a hand behind her neck and kissed her. He thrust again, pounding even deeper. He hit depths Ella didn’t know she had. His other hand gripped her waist tight. The way he touched her made her feel beautiful. The changes in her body from being pregnant left her feeling unsure about her naked body. But Miller erased all that.

Right there under the stars, Miller pumped himself in and out of her. His body on hers, his cock sliding in and out of her sex, bringing pleasure filled heights that left Ella calling out to the night and stars. When she came, she wrapped her legs around him, wanting him deep. But Miller knew how to take care of her and how to fuck her. He pulled all the way out and slammed back in, over and over, as she came, because it kept her coming. Her insides ached and throbbed, her belly feeling tight like she’d done a thousand sit ups. And it was all Miller’s perfect body that created that.

At one point Miller moved back to his knees. His clothed body before Ella’s as he still thrust deep into her body. She still clung tight to his leather cut, pulling at him as she thrust her body at him each time he pulled back. Beads of sweat started to collect at her hairline. The air outside was suddenly warm. The stars twinkled high above the sky. It took Ella back to a far away time… yet it was all beautifully real.

Ella’s hands wanted to feel skin instead of leather. She crept down and touched Miller’s waist. She crunched herself up and reached around to his ass, feeling his muscles flex as he fucked her. She was then cradled forward in his lumbering arms, the sound of his cock pounding in and out of her, his grunts echoing around, mixing with Ella’s cries of pleasure.

Miller put a hand to the back of her head and moved forward. He placed her back on the blanket, his body on hers. One look in Miller’s wild eyes told her he was ready to explode.

“Fucking perfect,” he growled. “I don’t know how you still feel so perfect.”

Ella put her hands to the blanket and gripped, ready. Miller came forward with one more powerful thrust and he started to come. The sudden rush inside her core left Ella gasping, arching her back, screaming out with each pulse of his cock. Miller’s mouth slid down her neck in a seductive, grunt filled kiss.

When it all ended, Miller rolled from Ella with a groan and rested next to her. She put her head on his shoulder, just lying there with herself naked from the waist down. Staring down at Miller’s cock, she watched it throb. He was still fucking hard. It seemed like he was always hard.

They were just there then for a few minutes, breathing, coming down from the amazing sex high.

“I need a beer,” Miller finally said.

  “Me too,” Ella said.

  “That’s my girl.”

Miller sat up. He moved forward and fixed his jeans, then grabbed two beers.

“This is really nice,” Ella said.

  “Takes us back a little.”

  “Yeah, it does.”

Why didn’t you show up that night? What the hell happened?

“I had to go see another MC today,” Miller said. “It’s as bad as it could get now. I have to ask you something.”

  “Okay…”

“Is there anything in your past that could get you in trouble?”

  “Like what?”

“Anything that someone could pull a warrant for?”

“No. My life has been boring since you.”

  “I wouldn’t say boring. Marriage. A kid.”

  “That’s not what I meant.”

Miller laughed. “You mean the outlaw stuff.”

“I never wanted it, Miller. The way it all turned out.”

Miller inched toward Ella and kissed her. “I know, darling. I know how you feel.”

“Then tell me about everything,” Ella said. “What happened then. What’s happening now. Tell me, Miller.”

Ella felt her throat tightening. She forced herself to hold composure. Miller rose to his feet and leaned against the large rock. He drank the beer and smiled at her.

“Right now? This is all about finishing this war. We have a plan to make it happen, Ella. He’ll be taken down.”

  “Then what?”

“The town will get crazy for a little while. That we know. The club is going to face some serious heat. But that has nothing to do with you. You just survive and press forward. You get the house and you get to do whatever you want with it.”

“I don’t want that,” Ella said. “I don’t want that at all, Miller. I don’t want to be viewed as some widow. Or be forced into being a public figure because of what happened.”

“Nobody will ever know what happened,” Miller said. “I promise you that. There will be nothing to know. Nothing to find.”

The heat from minutes ago was gone. Ella shivered and hugged herself. She hated that everything went to this mess. Her world revolved around danger and romance. Intense danger and even more intense romance.

Miller put an arm around her and they stood there.

  It just felt right.

“I fucking love you, Ella,” Miller said. “I’ve wanted to say that from the second I showed up at your door. I fucking love you.”

  Ella shut her eye
s, trying to hold back tears. “I love you, Miller. I never stopped loving you. Ever.”

  “You loved someone else.”

“No. Not like I loved you. That was different, Miller. I went with the path I thought I had to go. What I was told to go. Remember?”

“Yeah,” Miller said. “I fucking remember. I remember everything, darling.”

“Then what happened? Why didn’t you show up and save me?”

Miller pulled Ella away from him. “Is that what you fucking think?”

  “Maybe.”

“Jesus Christ, Ella. I did what I thought was right for you. Look what you got out of it. A decent life. A family. That’s what you wanted. You said that to me before. So many times. I overhead you talking to your friends about it. Nobody wanted you with me. Nobody.”

“And you listened?” Ella asked. She felt her blood starting to boil. “You fucking listened? When have you ever listened?”

“I saw you,” Miller growled through gritted teeth.

  “Saw what?”

“You and Jerry together. I saw it. I was there!”

Miller turned and kicked the ground.

Ella felt her heart pounding. “You were there. You son of a bitch. You were there and did nothing.”

“Because it was better that way,” Miller said with his back to Ella.

  “Better what way?”

“With him. You knew. So did I.”

  “That’s why you did nothing?”

Miller looked back. “No, darling, I did plenty. I told Jerry how to take care of you. How to love you. I told Jerry everything he needed to know to make it right and to make it work for you and him. I pulled away and disappeared, giving you time to realize what was in front of you.”

“Oh, how fucking heroic of you.”

  “Look what it did!”

“Exactly, Miller! Look what it did!” Ella touched her cheek. “He tried to kill me. He stepped on my head and wanted me to die. He’s going to come for me and Beck. He never loved Beck, ever. Never once did he touch me when I was pregnant. Never talked to my belly, rubbed my back. I shopped alone for everything. When I went into labor…”

  Ella looked down.

“What? Don’t hold back on me now, darling. Tell me everything I missed. Everything I fucked up. Everything I should have experienced.”
