A few weeks had passed since the Sunday lunch where I’d declared my feelings for Smith, Jayden, Carter, and Flynn. We’d moved straight into the house Smith’s father had given us at Carbon Beach. Interior designers had been employed to help us remodel the house to suit our new life together and so at times the house could be noisy with busy workmen. I was still trying to get my head around having four vampire boyfriends; and my discovery that my mom was a succubus, therefore making me part-succubus. Add into the mix the human part of me being exhausted with all the sexy times with my lovers, and well, let's just say I could have used a rather large lie-in.
But it wasn’t happening today because instead this was the day that Leonie had finally agreed to meet with myself and Smith. When I’d first called her a couple days after the lunch at Flynn’s house, she had refused to meet with us, saying she’d come to Revealed magazine anonymously and that’s how she wanted it to stay. When the news broke about my relationship with the four of them she’d called me back, saying my explanation and theirs had better be good.
She was pissed, and I totally got why.
Leonie had approached the gossip magazine I previously worked for, having been humiliated by the four men known as the Filthy Rich and Playboys—The FRAP boys. It had been my job to travel from my home in New York to Carbon Beach in Malibu to expose the playboys in all their insufferable glory. But that hadn’t happened. Not only did the men have reasons for their actions, I’d fallen in love with them and the feeling had been mutual. Now the five of us had agreed to give things a go and move in together.
After past relationship difficulties, the men—who were more like brothers due to their upbringing—had decided to focus on finding one woman to satisfy them all, and that had turned out to be me. It had also transpired that my boss was actually Smith’s mother…
Now you could see why Leonie wasn’t wishing me her best.
I walked around to the garage underneath the house where Smith was waiting for me in his red Porsche.
“Do we really have to do this?” He pouted as I slipped into the passenger seat.
I wanted to say no and take him back in the house and to bed because he sat there, his white shirt partly undone revealing his golden tanned torso, like he was cookies and cream and I was starving. His platinum blond hair had been cut short to his head, inviting fingers to brush over it—my fingers. His gorgeous eyes were hidden behind his mirrored aviators and I felt that was the only thing stopping me from dragging him from the car. That and his vampire strength although it would appear he probably wouldn’t have protested much…
“Yes, we do have to do it. Your behavior was appalling toward her and mine hasn’t been any better. We both need to suck it up and apologize and then make reparation because two thousand dollars doesn’t cut it. She’s been working as a housekeeper in Bel Air. She needs a home, money, and love. You can provide the home and money and I’m going to find her someone who will genuinely love her. It’s my goal. That’s if she doesn’t throw drinks in our faces and tell us to go fuck ourselves.”
“Why do we have to do all that? Why can’t I just apologize and walk out of there?”
I sighed. “Look, Smith. Since I’ve worked at Revealed I’ve reveled in exposing people’s darkest dirtiest secrets and then you happened. You, Carter, Flynn, and Jayden. Now whose private life looks the dirtiest? And what with finding out I have supernatural blood in my veins, well, I’m feeling like I need to right a few wrongs. We both wronged Leonie—I didn’t get her the revenge she wanted, or even the feeling that you’d learned from your mistakes. Instead, after listening to the gossip out there, she must feel I double-crossed her. We’re lucky she’s agreed to meet with us and hasn’t gone to another gossip magazine.”
Smith placed his hands on the steering wheel. “Okay, so where are we meeting her then?”
He drove, eventually reaching our final destination of Chantilly Road; drawing up in front of a contemporary Mediterranean style property. The house had a broad frontage and was nestled against beautiful canyon views.
Smith lifted his glasses up and turned to me. “Nice looking home, small though.”
I rolled my eyes at him as he winked. “We can’t all have billionaire fathers and three-story homes on Billionaires Beach.”
“Carbon Beach.” He corrected me.
“Whatever.”
“You’re going to be punished for that mouth later, lover.” He said huskily and a frisson of excitement shot through me. I exited the car and walked up to the front entrance of the property, pushing the doorbell.
After a minute or so where I had to stop myself from hyperventilating through nerves, the door opened and Leonie stood at the other side. She looked the same as she had when I’d first met her a few weeks ago in Carbon Beach-nervous.
“Come in.” She gestured inside. I noted that she hadn’t glanced at Smith once but had kept her gaze firmly fastened on my own.
As we followed her through the double doors, Smith pinched my ass cheek. I shot him a warning look, but he just smirked and made an ‘I’m innocent’ face. The door led straight into a vast lounge with varnished floors. In the middle of the room were two cream leather couches and Leonie turned to me. “Take a seat on either couch. Would you like something to drink?”
“Could I have a water please?” I asked. “How about you, Smith?”
“A soda if you have it.” He replied, and that was the first time Leonie looked at him. She stared at him for a moment before adding. “Well, I’ll be back shortly.”
“Is it me or is this more painful than having a back, sack, and crack?” Smith raised an eyebrow.
“We deserve for it to be painful. We’ve been bad.”
“You haven’t seen my bad yet. Wait until you’re turned, then you, me, and the guys, are going to the playroom, and I’m going to do all sorts of naughty things to you.”
My thighs clenched together at the thought but at the same time my heart lurched with fear. I was heading to a medical facility in two days time to be turned. I had made the decision to get it done because I wanted to have the same strength and stamina as my boyfriends. Flynn had voiced his reservations that it was still very early days in the relationship, but we’d talked it over and agreed that we were all in, that no one could see the future
. The truth was I was struggling to keep up with them as a human/succubus blend.
Leonie’s footsteps echoed as she walked back in with a tray, placing the drinks on the coffee table in the center of the placement of the two couches. She perched on the edge of the opposite couch looking uncomfortable and on edge.
Then it became apparent that it wasn’t so much nerves making her agitated but anger.
“So, please, let’s hear it then. How you went to investigate and expose the FRAP boys and now here you are in front of me sat beside one of them, having declared you are in love with all four of them I believe.” She shook her head. “I mean it’s insulting enough they got away with everything, but for you to shack up with them… it takes a lot to make me speechless but believe me, you got me.” She wafted a hand around indicating the room. “And now here I am, cleaning, fetching, and carrying, for two rich folk and you’ve landed four billionaires. I’m not sure what I did in a previous life but it must have been heinous. Guess I must have really screwed up bad.”
I’d heard enough.
“Well, I wasn’t searching for love. Maybe that’s where you’re going wrong? I wasn’t looking for a billionaire to be my meal ticket. I was just living my life and it found me.”
Leonie moved to sit on the couch opposite, her arms folded over herself. I figured by the look on her face that we weren’t going to be welcome much longer if we didn’t get on with our apology.
“Anyhow, we’re here because Smith needs to explain some things and to apologize properly, if that’s okay?”
She nodded. “Yeah, I can’t wait to hear it.” Sarcasm fueled her tone.
Smith shuffled on the couch, reached over for his soda and after taking a pull on it he looked directly at Leonie.
He cleared his throat. “Before you came to town, the four of us: me, Jayden, Carter, and Flynn. We decided we wanted to share a woman. To love one woman between us.”
Leonie’s eyes widened.
“I know. It seems stupid, outrageous even, but if you know Flynn’s background…” She nodded. “His relationship with Rose almost destroyed our friendship as she wouldn’t allow him to spend time with the rest of us. She wanted us out of the picture and Flynn all to herself. It’s not how we roll, how we’ve ever rolled, and it caused difficulties.
"Jayden had an idea about sharing one woman and so we began looking for one. But we messed up. With you we messed up. Carter should have introduced himself as the billionaire he was. We should have got to know you before we seduced you. And I…” he faltered. “I was in the depths of an alcohol problem and shouldn’t have been in a relationship at all. I should have been in a facility. It’s where I ended up after that night.”
Leonie swallowed, as the night in question arose.
“I’m not an alcoholic, but I have an intolerance.” Smith’s voice lowered. “I also struggle with life sometimes. I find it hard to deal with who I am. The alcohol became a crutch for me, a coping mechanism. The guys had decided that they were going to ask if you’d consider a relationship with us, but I didn’t want that.” He stared at her and I saw his lip tremble slightly. “I didn’t feel the connection I wanted to feel. It was nothing against you. I could see you were a lovely person. But the guys weren’t listening to my opinion so I did the only thing I do well. I fucked everything up.
"I posted up the photos of you and Flynn having sex when I walked into the gallery. The others were already seated inside waiting for you. They didn’t know what I’d done. Then I humiliated you further when you came through to see us.”
Smith had declared Leonie a six out of ten in the bedroom.
Smith leaned over, his wrists resting on his knees and he looked directly at Leonie. “There’s no excuse for my behavior. I’m so damn sorry. And the money we gave you was an added insult. I don’t know what any of us were thinking that night. We’d had the idea for one woman but our execution of it was appalling. And to then give you money. Well, you must have felt like a hooker. Leonie, I really am so very sorry.”
There were tears in her eyes as she looked back at him. “So why not come apologize then for what you did if you were so sorry?”
I took over at that point.
“Smith tried to kill himself after you left. There in the gallery. He was taken to hospital and then rehab.”
Her hand flew to her mouth. “Oh.”
“This is all on me, Leonie. I was a mess and in my selfish state I ruined your life in Carbon Beach.” Smith added.
“I found this out during my investigation for the magazine. The men are all so complex and every one has their reasons for how they are. It’s just that at the time they met you, everything piled up into one big drama. I’m sorry that in discovering the truth I hurt you, Leonie. That you didn’t get the closure you were seeking, but I’m not sorry about my relationship. I love all four of them.”
Leonie sat up straight and sighed. “I was so damn angry when I read the press reports, thinking you’d betrayed me. But if you truly have deep feelings for them, then I wish you all luck. You should leave now.”
Smith raised a hand. “Leonie, we’ve been discussing the situation and we want to offer you an opportunity. You must understand, this is not an attempt to buy you off and just shut you down in any way. It’s Serena’s idea, and well, I’m deferring to her when it's about women because as my past history shows it’s not my best subject. Women’s anatomy, yes. Their brains, hell, no.”
I shook my head at Smith’s way with words and thought I’d better take over.
“We want to rent you a room at The Dream, back in Carbon Beach. No one knows what happened. The spa desperately needs a regular masseuse although staff retention will be a lot better now this one has settled down with me.” Smith had a reputation for seducing all the spa staff. “Come back to the Bu; live there, hang with me sometime. I thought we got on when we first met. And I want to help you find love, the natural way.”
Leonie chewed on her bottom lip. “I don’t know. It feels like buying me off all over again.”
“Are you happy here in Bel Air? You told me you pretend the place is yours. But it's not. So come have your own room, a job, and see how it goes. What do you have to lose?” I asked her.
She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment. “I’ll think about it, okay?”
“Sure. There’s no pressure. None at all, and if you feel you’d rather expose what happened to you to another celebrity magazine, then that’s okay too. I can deal. I deserve it.” Smith told her.
She shook her head. “I won’t do that. Trying to humiliate you wouldn’t make me feel any better. I know that now.” She stood up. “Thank you for coming over and explaining things. I feel better to know the truth about what actually happened. It doesn’t lessen what I went through but at least I now know you weren’t just a rich asshole treating me like crap.”
Smith stood too, and I followed. “I’ve treated plenty of women like crap. Like I said I’m a flawed individual. But I’m a work in progress, so thank you for allowing me to apologize. It helps me too.”
She nodded, and we trailed behind her to the front door where we bid her farewell.
As the door closed behind us and we approached the car, Smith exhaled loudly. “Fuck, thank God that’s over. You satisfied now, woman?”
“No. I put my index finger in my mouth and sucked on it. I’m far from satisfied, so how about we get home so you can work on it?”

Serena
Before Smith’s father had gifted the house to us, Smith had lived on the top story, and Jayden, Carter, and Flynn had lived in their parents’ properties, also on Carbon Beach. Slowly we would redesign all of it, but the first priority had been making the main bedroom larger… a lot larger.
Having billionaire boyfriends meant we’d immediately taken possession of the largest mattress I’d ever seen, which came accompanied with bespoke sheets. It was taking some getting used to sleeping with four men every night.
What
a hardship my life was!
“How did it go?” Flynn asked as we walked into the living room. He was sitting on the couch flicking through a photography magazine.
“As well as could be expected.” Smith answered. “She’s going to consider coming back here.”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Flynn’s question was directed at me.
“I feel we owe it to her to try to give her back the life she was aiming for before it got ruined by the four of you. The least you can do is pay for her hotel room. Or maybe it’s just my guilt and I’m overcompensating. Either way, it's done.”
“Are Jayden and Carter around?” Smith asked. “Only this one was being insubordinate earlier and I want to punish her.”
Flynn pointed out onto the patio. “They’re playing pool. Make your way upstairs and I’ll collect them and meet you up there.”
My core pulsed as my mind wondered what was to come. All of us for sure, but how would they take me this time?
I pushed the door open to our new bedroom. Taking up a major part of the top story, Smith’s old bedroom had been knocked through to his previous living quarters meaning the room was vast. Painted a very pale blue, large floor-to-ceiling windows looked out over the ocean. There were balconies outside, which were beautiful to sit out on in a morning.
Smith stood behind me as I appreciated the view of the Pacific. I could feel his erection pushing into me from behind. His hand landed on my shoulder and he pushed one strap of my top down, then the other. With cool lips, he peppered kisses from my collarbone to my ear, nibbling my lobe before returning to my collarbone. My skin goose bumped, and I held my breath in anticipation of his next move. He unzipped my top at the back, teasing kisses down my spine as he did so and then gathering the material at the bottom between his fingers he lifted it.
