As Marty continued to fuck her, she forgot all about whatever he was trying to prove to himself as she felt another less cataclysmic yet deeply pulsating climax stirring to life inside her. Marty, too, was on the brink. She could tell by the shortening of his breath and the string of filthy language spilling from his lips, to say nothing of the increased pressure on her tits.

“That’s it, babe,” he said. “We’re fucking real deep now. You’re gonna come for me again, I can feel it, then I’m gonna shoot my load. Don’t hold back, darlin’, we both need to do this now. Feel my balls smacking into you, feel my cock filling your cunt. I bet you just love that, don’t you?”

Athena, unsure if she was supposed to answer, merely nodded and then groaned. She was so damned close. Again. Then she closed about his cock and milked it in silence, screaming inside her head for him to fuck her. Obviously sensing what was happening to her, Marty slapped her ass hard and let himself go.

“That’s it, sugar, you’ve got me. I’m gonna come, too.”

His body pulsated above hers and he slapped her ass repeatedly as he drove himself into her, again and again until he finally sighed deeply and withdrew. He untied her hands and helped her to her feet. Then he picked her up, kissed her with a tenderness that was at direct variance to the harsh fucking they’d just enjoyed, and deposited her on the bed.

“Stay right there. I won’t be a moment.”

He disappeared, presumably to dispose of the condom, and returned with a washcloth.

“Did I hurt you?” he asked almost apologetically as he wiped her clean. “I tend to get carried away, especially with someone as responsive as you are.”

“I loved it,” she said, reaching up to trace the curve of his face and placing a gentle kiss on his lips.

  “Glad to hear it.”

He abandoned the cloth, climbed into bed, and pulled her into his arms. She was still wearing the trashy underwear he seemed to find so compelling.

“Let’s regain our strength,” he said. “The guys won’t be here for a while yet.”

“Bay tells me you’re a professional golfer.”

“I was,” he said, “but that was a while ago now.”

“And you work with Bay and Dex instead. Don’t you miss it?”

“He didn’t tell you why I quit?”

“No.” Athena sensed tension in his voice. “He just said that you were a golf professional at a club he managed, having given up professional golfing.”

“A woman at the club accused me of sexual harassment, and I lost my job because of it,” he said, turning his face away from her so she couldn’t read his expression.

  “That’s terrible!”

“You haven’t asked me if I was guilty.”

  “That’s because I know you weren’t.”

He touched her lips with one finger, the gesture tender. “Thanks, but you don’t really know me.”

“I know enough about you to realize that you don’t need to force women into doing anything they don’t want to.” She rested her head on his shoulder, much as she had rested it on Bay’s earlier. “I’m guessing that the woman came on to you, you rejected her, and she was looking for revenge.”

Marty kissed the top of her head. “Pretty much, but her husband was influential, believed what she told him, and was determined to get me ousted from the club. You have to understand what that would have done to me as a person,” he said quietly. “I wouldn’t have easily gotten a job elsewhere, the jealous husband would have seen to that. I was raised in a small town in Minnesota, and I didn’t relish going back there, having left in a blaze of local publicity when I got onto the professional tour. I’d already failed as a professional golfer, you see, and didn’t want to admit to my family that I couldn’t even hold it together as a teacher.”

  “So what happened?”

The shoulder beneath her head moved, presumably in a shrug. “Bay and I were buddies when that accusation was made. He knew I hadn’t touched the woman, but even though he was the club’s manager, no one listened to him. He was already disillusioned in working for someone else, and that was the final straw. He decided to start his own club and asked me if I wanted to go in with him. I had a bit of money left from my professional days and nowhere else to turn, so I threw in my lot with him and Dex. I’ve never had cause to regret that decision.”

“Where does Dex fit into it all?”

Marty laughed. “He spends his days winding me up, and vice versa. If you want to know more about him than that, you need to ask him.”

“You guys are very protective of one another’s privacy.”

“There’s nothing mysterious about any of us. It’s just that we’ve kinda gotten into the habit of minding what we say. The press has a habit of twisting things.”

“I’m not the press. I was just curious.”

“I know you were.” He kissed her almost chastely, lifted her from his shoulder, and got out of bed. “Take a shower,” he said, helping her out of the underwear. “I’ll lay out what you’re to wear for us when you come down.”

  “I beg your pardon.”

“Get used to it, babe.” He winked at her. “We’re in charge tonight.”

Athena was about to object, then changed her mind. What the hell!

“Come on, get moving,” he said, tapping her butt.

  Chapter Eleven

Athena returned to her room, a large towel draped round her body, another wrapped round her wet hair. She felt alive, invigorated, liberated, and amazingly carefree at a point in her life when she’d never had more things to worry about. Presumably that was what spending the afternoon engaged in an energetic bout of no-holds-barred sex did for a girl.

If so, Athena was up for the next round. She felt a little sore but pleasantly so. There was nothing serious enough to hold her back. It wasn’t every day that three of the best-looking men she’d ever seen turned up in her kitchen, ready and willing to do to her whatever she asked of them.

She glanced at her bed, did a double take when she saw the clothes—or lack of them—Marty had put out for her to wear, and giggled. Athena never giggled. Up until now she hadn’t had a whole lot to giggle about, what with her life being one long struggle to help her grandfather make ends meet. Suddenly her existence had taken on a whole new dimension, albeit temporarily, and she fully intended to make the most of the upturn.

She returned her attention to the clothes Marty had decreed she would wear that evening. The same trashy mauve bra but no panties. He must have realized that they were soaked through. Was she supposed to go without? Presumably. He hadn’t chosen a top but had obviously rummaged in her wardrobe, producing a tiny Lycra skirt that she hadn’t worn for a decade. She’d be lucky if it covered her pussy. Laughing and shaking her head at the same time, Athena opened her underwear drawer in search of clean panties. Instead she discovered a handwritten note, which said, Oh no you don’t!

She closed the drawer, still laughing. Fine, if that was the way they wanted it, she’d play right along. She put on the bra and skirt, noticing that he’d left out open-toed shoes with four-inch heels. She stepped cautiously into them, hoping she wouldn’t fall off them and break her neck. She sat in front of her mirror and dried her hair, leaving it to hang loose round her shoulders when she was done. She applied a little mascara and lip gloss but left the makeup at that.

She was about to leave her room when she heard a car pull up at the side of the house. She peeped through her window and saw Bay at the wheel of a sleek Jaguar. Dex jumped out of the passenger seat, rolled open the door to the barn, and Bay drove his car inside. Presumably he didn’t want it to be seen if the saboteur returned. The thought was sobering, reminding Athena that she really shouldn’t be indulging her sexual fantasies at such a time. It took the edge off her excitement, and this time, when she looked in the glass, her image appeared trashy rather than sexy.

“What the hell do you think you’re playing at?” she asked aloud.

  Athena
dithered for some time, aware of male voices coming from downstairs, along with enticing aromas. She had two choices. She could dress normally, go down and tell them she’d changed her mind, or front it out. Had she changed her mind? If she did, she was pretty sure they’d carry on helping her, but did she want to deny herself more of the pleasure she’d already received at Bay’s and Marty’s hands?

Hell no, life was for living!

  “Bring it on, boys.”

Avoiding further glances in the mirror, Athena tossed her hair away from her face and tottered carefully from her room in her unsuitable shoes.

Dex unloaded the cartons of Chinese takeaway food and decanted them into serving dishes. Marty opened a couple of bottles of wine and didn’t seem able to stop grinning.

“It’s all right for some,” Dex grumbled.

“Aw, don’t get mad,” Marty replied, sharing a smirk with Bay. “You’ll thank me when you see the groundwork I’ve done for you guys.”

“What did you make of her?” Bay asked.

Dex paused with a half-empty carton of chicken in his hand, watching Marty as he formulated his response.

“Sensational,” he said, “and not just because she’s new to our life. There’s something about her that’s gotten to me, and it has nothing to do with sex.” Marty shook his head. “Does that make any sense?”

“It makes perfect sense,” Bay said. “But I thought it was just me.”

“She’s enough to make me rethink my life of celibacy,” Dex said.

Bay and Marty roared with laughter. “You don’t have a celibate bone in your body,” Bay pointed out.

“No,” Dex said, serious for once. “But I do have a problem with commitment. But when I’m with her, the thought of settling down with one woman doesn’t scare the shit out of me.”

“One woman between the three of us?” Marty asked.

“Yeah, perhaps it’s not having sole responsibility for her that’s done it.”

“Nothing to do with the fact that she’s as sexy as hell then?” Bay asked. “Seriously though, buddy, I know exactly what you mean. It’s time to put your trust in a woman again.”

Dex nodded. “We haven’t known her for long, but then it doesn’t take long to know when something’s absolutely right.” He shook his head. “I must be crazy. I haven’t even fucked her yet.”

“What is it about her?” Marty asked.

“Hell if I know,” Bay said. “She’s spirited, and single-minded in her determination to forego her own career in order to help her granddad. That’s admirable, but it isn’t that.” He shrugged. “She isn’t trying to cling or make any sort of impression on us—”

“Which is unusual enough to make us notice her,” Marty pointed out. “But it’s more than just that. She’s special in other ways.”

“You don’t feel that your independence is threatened by her?” Bay suggested.

Marty rubbed his chin. “That’s just it. I wouldn’t mind if it was.”

Dex felt like an outsider as his two buddies enthused about the women they’d both had a piece of. Dex had that pleasure in store. He might not know anything about her performance in bed yet but could still relate to what Bay and Marty had to say about her as a person. She’d gotten him thinking with something other than his dick, which was unheard of when it came to an attractive woman, and he felt fiercely protective of her before he’d so much as kissed her. He shook his head and carried on sorting out the food, wondering if this was some sort of defining moment in the “love ’em and leave ’em” lifestyle the three of them enjoyed.

Bay carried plates and silverware through to the dining room. Dex was about to follow on with the food when he glanced up and saw Athena slowly walking down the stairs.

“Fucking hell!” he said, putting the food down before he dropped it.

Bay and Marty joined him at the foot of the stairs. The three of them stared up at Athena in her outfit that left absolutely nothing to the imagination.

“Marty strikes again,” Bay said, amused.

  “Evening, gents,” Athena said, breezily.

She seemed unconcerned by her near-naked state. Even so, Dex thought he noticed an expression of uncertainty flit across her features. To put her at ease, he stepped forward, took her in his arms, and kissed her lightly on the lips.

“Seems to me,” he said, “that the others have stolen a march on me.”

“Everything comes to those that wait,” she said with an impish smile.

“You okay?” Marty asked, taking his turn to kiss her.

“Never better. What’s for supper? I’m starving.”

“I take it you like Chinese,” Bay said, kissing her as well. “Dex bought enough to feed an army.”

“I wasn’t sure what you liked so I got a bit of most things,” he explained.

“Lots and lots of shrimp,” she said, moistening her plump lips with the tip of her tongue. “I love shrimp.”

“That we can do,” Dex assured her.

  “Glass of wine?” Bay asked.

“Please, white if we have it.”

  “We have it.”

Bay handed her a glass of crisp Chardonnay, while all three guys drank beer straight from the bottles.

“Cheers,” she said, raising her glass to the three of them and taking such a large sip that she almost choked on it.

Dex patted her on the back, concluding that she was probably more nervous than she was letting on and in need of some Dutch courage.

“Come on,” Bay said, “we’re eating in here.”

He turned toward the dining room, but she hung back. “No, it’s a mess, I—”

  “Come on!”

Bay placed a hand on the small of her back and almost frogmarched her into the room. With no other choice available to her, she preceded him through the door and stopped dead in her tracks, gasping.

“Who did this?” she asked. “It looks almost back to normal and yet—”

“I had to do something this afternoon when you were sleeping,” Marty said.

“Apparently most of the older china wasn’t broken,” Bay explained. “It was stored in the bottom of the cabinet and escaped unscathed. There were one or two bits that couldn’t be saved but—”

“Thank you!” Athena flung her arms round Marty’s neck and kissed him with enthusiasm, tears in her eyes. “That was so thoughtful of you. You even rehung the pictures. I was dreading attacking this room, or even stepping foot in here. Whenever I do it makes me think of my grandmother, and she would have been as mad as hell to see how her treasures had been trashed.”

She seated herself in the chair Bay held out for her at the head of the table. Dex, deciding it was his turn to be close to her, immediately took the seat on her right. Marty sat on the other side of her, and Bay seemed content to take the chair opposite.

Dex filled her plate with a variety of differently cooked shrimp.

“Can you use these things?” he asked, brandishing a pair of wooden chopsticks supplied by the takeout place. “Or would you prefer a fork?”

“Oh, it’s been a while, but I used to be able to wield chopsticks.”

She took them from him and set about proving it. Dex watched her work the planks of wood, eating little himself. He wasn’t particularly engrossed by her dexterity with the chopsticks. It was more the woman himself who fascinated him. The guys had assured him that she was fairly inexperienced sexually, yet she could sit at a table with three fully dressed men she barely knew with her tits falling out of a trashy bra, and no panties on. Dex’s cock severely tested his zipper. It astonished him that no local yokel had picked up on Athena’s sexuality before now and exploited it. It also pleased him no end. If anyone was qualified to indoctrinate her into the pleasures she’d foregone for too long, it was the three of them.

“This is good,” she said, her lips shiny with sauce as she expertly picked up a large shrimp with her wooden cutlery and sucked it slowly into her mouth, watch
ing him as she did so.

Did she have to be so provocative? Damn it, she was killing him! Never before had Dex been jealous of a humble crustacean. The fact of the matter was, it was a criminal waste. If anything ought to slip between those sweets lips, it was his swollen cock. And it would before long, if Dex had his way. It was fast becoming a matter of extreme urgency.

The other two kept the conversation flowing, but Dex said little. It was all right for them—they’d sampled Athena’s charms and were satiated, albeit temporarily. Knowing them, they’d soon be up for a repeat performance, but not until Dex had taken the edge off his own raging lust.

“I can’t eat another bite,” Athena said, pushing her plate aside. “Thanks, that was lovely.”

“So I see,” Dex said, laughing at the amount she’d put away.

“She needs to keep her strength up,” Marty said, sharing a meaningful glance with him and Bay.

“Do I?” She flashed a suspiciously innocent smile, pretending she didn’t know what they meant. “Just for the washing up?”

“Stay where you are,” Marty said. “We’re on kitchen duty.”

Bay and Marty cleared the table, leaving Dex alone with Athena.

“Let’s take our drinks in the other room,” he said, offering her his hand.

She slipped hers into it without hesitation and rose gracefully to her feet. The lounge was on the northern side of the property, and it was cool in there. Dex sat in the corner of an overstuffed couch, put their drinks on a side table, and patted the seat beside him. Before she could lower herself into it, he snaked out an arm, snagged her around the waist, and tumbled her onto his lap. She landed there with a tiny exclamation of surprise. Dex gave her a moment to recover her breath and then lowered his head to claim those tempting lips of hers in a searing kiss. Her response was immediate, and mind-blowing. Her arms slipped around his neck and her mouth opened beneath his, a clear invitation for him to invade it with his tongue.

Dex did precisely that, raw carnality streaking through him as his cock expanded in response to the pressure of her bare butt pressing against it.
