Instead of rubbing the twitching flesh in his grasp, Jayden remained still, waiting to see how Stephan would react.

Swaying, the little man grabbed his shoulder to stabilize himself.

  “J-Jade,” Stephan whined.

When the stench of fear never came, Jayden ran his hand up and down Stephan’s shaft. Pre-cum and suds mixed together as he pumped the man’s throbbing prick.

The soft moans that drifted past Stephan’s lips strengthened Jayden’s excitement. Each drop of pre-cum he drew from the man had his own leaking out.

Jayden’s gaze kept flitting between what his hand was doing and his lover’s face. Either view was worth dying for. He cupped the

man’s balls with his other hand, then gently squeezed and massaged the tight sack.

  “Oh God, Jayden…” Stephan cried.

Jayden focused on the look of pleasure on the man’s face.

Stephan’s eyes were hazy, his lips slightly parted. He had his head tilted back, seeing nothing—just feeling and taking in every touch.

But Jayden had no intention of letting the man come this way. He wanted to bring him with his mouth, to have his sweet release on his tongue. To savor Stephan’s first taste of pleasure in years.

  Releasing him, Jayden pulled away.

“What…” Stephan muttered in a daze.

“I want to taste you, sweetheart. Will you let me?”

Stephan’s brow furrowed, looking so adorably confused.

Chuckling, Jayden slowly ran a finger up the underside of the man’s cock. “I want to suck this.”

The pleasure clouding Stephan’s face faded a bit. “S-suck?” the man sputtered.

Jayden wiggled his eyebrows. “Suck,” he purred.

Stephan nodded stiffly. Permission given, Jayden grabbed the showerhead and sprayed Stephan’s crotch. The man squealed in indignation at the sudden assault of water, shying away.

Hands gripping Stephan’s thighs, Jayden grinned. He slid down into the water until he was eye level with the man’s hard length.

“Sorry, I’ve never liked the taste of soap.”

Stephan started to say something, but it ended in a choked gasp as Jayden took his cock fully down his throat. Nuzzling into his trimmed curls, he breathed in the man’s musky, sweet scent—caramel with a hint of pistachio.

Jayden ran his hands up and down Stephan’s trembling thighs.

And for just a few moments, he stared into the man’s glazed eyes, savoring the taste of him—then he swallowed.

“Jayden!” Stephan cried out, his hands threaded through Jayden’s hair, gripping the strands tightly. He writhed as Jayden massaged his cock with his throat.

When he pulled off, Stephan let out a whine of protest. But Jayden ignored his pleas and blew a few puffs of cool air on the spit-covered tip before flicking his tongue against Stephan’s slit. The man moaned and arched toward him as he licked the mushroom head and captured every dollop of pre-cum with his tongue.

Only when Stephan’s whimpers and moans echo through the room did Jayden finally take him back into his mouth. Then, hollowing his cheeks, he began to suck, bobbing up and down on Stephan’s cock.

“Jade, Jade, Jade…” the man chanted between his cries of pleasure.

The sweet pleas had Jayden’s balls tightening and his prick spasming. And as he continued to suck on Stephan’s throbbing cock, he reached down to grip and roll the man’s sack in his hand.

Pre-cum coated his throat, sweet on his tongue. It wouldn’t be long now as the hard length in his mouth continuously twitched, the man’s balls clenching in his hand. Jayden found his heartbeat quickening in anticipation of tasting the man’s seed. The silvery substance would spread across his taste buds as he drank it down.

Stephan threw his head back on a strangled cry as he came. One of Jayden’s hands shot out to the swell of Stephan’s back as the man arched painfully and started to fall.

Thick liquid that tasted of sweet syrup slid down Jayden’s throat.

He gulped down each spurt, refusing to waste a single drop. And there was so much of it—the man’s orgasm went on and on.

When finally spent, Stephan’s body shuddered and his arms fell limply to the sides. His upper body hung in the air, held up only by the hand Jayden had placed on the man’s lower back.

After pulling off the sensitive flesh, he licked his lips.

Mind cloudy, Stephan barely registered when Jayden lowered his tingling body to the floor. With his heart racing and his breathing faster than normal, he felt a bit dizzy. It had been fifteen years since Stephan had last come, but he didn’t remember ever having experienced something like this.

Lacking the energy to move, Stephan just lay there staring at the ceiling as he listened to Jayden move around. As he came down from the high his climax had brought, Stephan’s heartbeat returned to normal. His cock twitched when something brushed over it—his lover was cleaning him. Not long after, he found himself bundled in fluffy towels.

His mind cleared, and Stephan’s heart sped up for a very different reason—panic.

Oh. My. God. He had a lover. He didn’t know how to have a lover.

But were he and Jayden lovers?

If they were, Stephan was terrible at it. He hadn’t even gotten the man off. Were they lovers now? Would “boyfriend” be more accurate?

Was there a difference? Neither of them had asked, though…was asking required?

Stephan chewed on his lip nervously—did Jayden even want to date? They hadn’t talked about it. What if he didn’t? Stephan wanted to.

“Whatever you’re thinking about, stop,” Jayden rasped and picked him up with one arm, his hand cupping Stephan’s ass.

The smell of the man’s arousal was mixed in with the musky smell of Stephan’s orgasm. Ignoring Jayden’s need wouldn’t be right—it wouldn’t be fair.

“W-what about y-you?” he managed to stutter out.

Jayden cocked his head. “What about me?”

“Um, you didn’t, um…you didn’t…” Stephan became flustered and couldn’t manage to get the rest of his words out.

The man grinned. “I didn’t come?”

Face heating, Stephan nodded and buried his head against Jayden’s shoulder as the man strode into the bedroom.

“Relax, Stephan. I can take care of myself later.”

He popped his head up. “But I can hel—”

“We both know you’re not ready for that.” Jayden stopped in front of Stephan’s drawers and began to rummage through them.

  “Bu—”

  “Drop it, sweetheart.”

At the command, Stephan stuck his bottom lip out and pouted.

  Jayden just laughed.

Moments later the man let out a satisfied grunt and pulled out a pair of white silk panties and a bubblegum-pink tank top.

Dear God, he had just let the man rustle through his underwear.

Then again, Stephan had also just let Jayden suck him off, so he supposed the man looking at his underwear wasn’t that big of a deal.

It didn’t make it any less embarrassing.

Wiggling, he tried to slap Jayden’s hands away when the man laid him on the bed and started to dress him. “I can do it,” Stephan whined.

Jayden rolled his eyes and ignored him. Once done, the man slid in next to him.

Peering through his lashes, Stephan scooted over to cuddle.

Jayden’s arm slipped around his waist.

The worries Stephan had just moments ago returned, and he couldn’t help but voice them. “A-are we dating? Or is this something else? S-sex friends? Are we lovers? Is this a fling? Do you want to date?” His words rushed out and would have continued to do so if Jayden hadn’t covered his mouth.

  “
Hush. Stephan, you overthink things.” Jayden sighed and dropped his hand away. “We’ve already confessed, haven’t we?

While I know practically nothing about relationships, I’m pretty sure that means we’re dating.”

His heart fluttered. He felt light—happy. Jayden was his. He was Jayden’s. A relationship, he was in a relationship!

Squealing, he threw his arms around Jayden’s neck and kissed him.

  Chapter Sixteen

  Days later

  “Is that everything?” Adrian asked.

  “For the most part.”

The king remained silent for a few moments—just absently rubbing his hand over his extended belly. Adrian was very, very pregnant, and would give birth within the month.

A birth that most wished would come early. From what Dante had heard, the man had become a true terror. Adrian was not handling the spike in his hormone levels and the aches gracefully.

Hand stilling, he asked, “Am I correct to assume that you approve of the boy joining your group?”

  “Yes.”

“What would happen if I decided against it? Or if I decided that Jayden should be punished for his crimes, along with Stephan for his involvement?”

“Well, off the top of my head, I believe Jayden would try to kill me.”

A smile played on Adrian’s lips. “The idea has merit.”

Yes, Adrian was not handling pregnancy well. His feelings toward those who irritated him were…well, there certainly weren’t many coming to him with stupid complaints anymore.

“Adrian,” King Xavier growled. The man had remained silently standing behind his husband until now.

“You wound me, Your Highness.” Dante laughed. “Well, what Jayden would do is rather predictable. After killing me, he’d probably

  Stephan's Monster

take Stephan and run. However, out of the two men, Stephan Everwood is the one to watch out for. Jayden’s fury, for the most part, is cold and methodical. Stephan’s is unpredictable and feeds on his emotions, which means in a rage, it’s harder for him to control his powers. He is extremely dangerous. That young man has a ball of hatred inside him. I only saw a hint of it, but I’ll tell you now it’s not something to take lightly.”

“I see. Well, then it’s a good thing I don’t plan on doing any of that. He will make a nice addition to your men.” Adrian began to glide his hands over his stomach once again. No doubt thinking of his unborn child, the king said, “Using him will also help us rid the world of criminals who should have died years ago.”

  “Yes.”

Adrian narrowed his eyes. “You already knew what Stephan was, didn’t you?”

Ah, the man’s mind was as keen as always. “When we found what was left of the gang who took him, I may have considered the idea.

He claimed to not remember what had happened. His shields were slammed tight, and I didn’t push. Not that it would have mattered if I had even wanted to. Liam wouldn’t have let me.”

  “I see.”

  “I won’t lie. It’s a choice I never question and one I made easily.

Even if I had known back then what was to come, it wouldn’t have changed anything. My thoughts are the same. Demanding more from him would have been cruel. He had lost so much. The child didn’t deserve to be punished more for something he could never change.”

  A few hours later

Adrian watched Baylin guide the two young men out of his throne room. He hadn’t learned much more than what Dante had told him.

  134

Though he had confirmed Dante’s assessment—not that Adrian had doubted him.

Stephan was such a sweet young man. Not a pushover, of course.

He wouldn’t have survived the business world if he was.

But Adrian was sure that sweet man would vanish if he felt threatened—or if someone threatened Jayden’s safety. Which would be a shame, because not only was Stephan sweet, but genuine.

He did find it slightly amusing that the little elf gave him more pause than the large homicidal vampire.

“It’s hard to believe such a small man could cause much damage,”

  Xavier murmured.

“Yes, well, many have thought the same about me.”

His husband let loose a deep chuckle. “I’m sure you showed them all how wrong they were.”

  * * * *

Stephan couldn’t seem to wipe the smile off his face. Everything was going so well.

They were all on their way to Dante’s office. His plan had worked!

They were finally safe! Stephan was so happy he could cry.

After Jayden and Stephan met with the king, they had received a call from Dante. The man wanted to discuss a few details of Jayden’s new position. They’d been on the road for forty-five minutes and were almost there.

Going to meet the king had been stressful. But the man had heard them out, and Stephan had left feeling as if a giant weight had fallen off his shoulders.

Not only had King Adrian approved of Jayden joining the Zaytari, but he had agreed to not put Stephan on the national registry. Of course, it wasn’t that much of an allowance. Apparently, King Adrian had stopped creating an actual list years ago and instead opted for just keeping one in his mind.

  Stephan's Monster

  135

  Whatever, his plan had worked!

“Happy?” Jayden asked with a raised eyebrow.

  “Of course!” He squealed.

Both Liam and Jayden laughed at his enthusiasm.

“Would you go on a date with me tomorrow?” Jayden asked out of nowhere.

  Stephan’s face warmed. “I, um…I, um…yes.”

Liam let out a disgusted snort and pulled the car up in front of a mansion. The Kozen group’s main office was also Dante’s house.

They were instantly surrounded by those who knew Liam when they walked inside. Pushing through the crowd, they somehow made it to the waiting room outside Dante’s office.

The man’s secretary was…well, she was a bit stiff. She was petite and rather beautiful with her long white-pink hair and swirling black horns—fire demon, no doubt. However, he felt judged from the minute he walked in. Stephan wondered how she worked with Dante, who appeared to be rather laid back.

  “Judith, we’re expected,” Liam announced.

“Yeah, yeah.” She waved them on.

Liam smirked. “As friendly as always, I see.”

  Judith grunted.

Dante opened the door to the office and greeted them as they came in. “Welcome. Come in, come in. Please ignore my rather inhospitable secretary.”

Judith popped her head in, glaring. Then she slammed the door shut.

Laughing, Dante had them all sit down.

  “She seems…nice?”

“Judith may seem a bit much, but I assure you, under that hard exterior is a teddy bear.”

Liam snorted. “Yes, one with claws.”

“Well, let’s get started, shall we?” Dante folded his hands on top of his desk. “In my group, those in higher positions are for the most

  136

part required to live at, or near, the main office, though many of the younger members live with me, as well, not to mention in the few large homes farther back on my property. As I have multiple smaller branches throughout my territory, I, of course, am referring to those who work at the main branch only. It is done for convenience purposes, not to mention protection. While you will be considered the executioner for the entirety of my group, you will be stationed here.

Bottom line, where you currently live is unfortunately too far away.”

Stephan worried his lip. “While I don’t have an issue with moving, it’s not possible for Jayden to live in a house with so many people.”

“Yes, I thought that might be the case. Recently, the mansion next door came u
p for sale. I took the liberty of buying it.”

“Oh, you didn’t have to do that. I could have done so myself.

  Money is not an issue.”

“Yes, well, properties around here sell fast.” Dante leaned back in his chair. “Considering I’m the one asking you to move, it seemed only right. You will, of course, have to pay for any renovations you wish to make.”

Stephan didn’t know what to say. The man had bought them a house. A simple thank-you didn’t seem right. Though, it was a bit presumptuous for him to think they’d move just because he told them to. To be honest, Stephan didn’t want to move—he was rather attached to his parents’ house. The fact that they’d died there hadn’t diminished all the other happy memories. Even so, he’d do it for Jayden.

  “Thank you.”

Thinking of Jayden, he realized how quiet the man had been. As they were talking about him, it was odd that he hadn’t said anything.

Actually, it was odder that the man hadn’t uttered a single word since entering the mansion. Usually, Jayden would have made, at the very least, a snide comment by now.

Stephan peered over, his brows furrowed at the lack of color in the man’s face. Jayden’s jaw was clenched as if he were in pain.

  Stephan's Monster

  137

The reason smacked him in the face and made him feel like an idiot—Dante’s home was filled to the brim with people. Something Stephan literally just gave as a reason for Jayden not being able to live here. Damn, he should have asked Dante if they could meet somewhere else.

“As for your position, there are some small details we need to go over, but we can do so later. I’m going to put off your first assignment until you all are fully moved in. Which I would assume will take a few months, as I’m sure you will want to make changes to your new home.”

“I see,” Jayden mumbled. His voice sounded strained.
