  Book description:

Racing. Except from getting laid, there’s nothing more thrilling than racing on a bike in the middle of the night with a crowd of admirers screaming your name.

Tyler is a rider. A rough rider. Rough riders race for money, fame and women. There’s nothing safe about it and that’s what makes it so damn exciting.

There’s nothing legal about it either. Tyler and his gang are troublemakers and running away from the police is part of the game.

A game that took Angela’s life six months ago, in mysterious circumstances. Her older sister, Trinity, is determined to find out the truth, even if it means getting involved with these dangerous bikers.

Without realizing it, Trinity will be sucked into their world and fall hard for their leader, the cocky and incredibly sexy Tyler.

  Chapter 1 - Trinity

Like everyone else at the party, my eyes were drawn to the window when the sound of sirens echoed through the air.

The room, which had been deafening loud just a split second before, was now silent.

Then someone screamed, “The cops!” And all hell broke loose.

Shit! What was I supposed to do?

People were running everywhere, jumping out windows, hiding in closets. I saw two people run into the bathroom and close the door.

There was shoving, bottles crashing to the floor. I got bounced back and forth as I fought my way through the dark living room, or what would have been a living room if people lived here.

I had a feeling the house’s occupants abandoned it long ago.

And I was about to be arrested there.

The cops were downstairs, where other, seedier action was going on. I hadn’t wanted to be part of that, so I stayed upstairs.

Now I was glad. The police must have come in through the garage in the basement. I heard a lot of scuffling.

I couldn’t go down there, and they would be upstairs any minute anyway.

I looked around, still trying to find a way out of this. Leave it to me, getting caught by the cops at the first party I’d ever sneaked out of the house to attend.

And it was the worst possible place I could be. I knew people threw around the phrase, “My dad will kill me,” but I had the feeling my dad might literally kill me.

Or at least, maim me, or certainly make me wish I was dead. Unless of course he gave himself a stroke first.

My only choice was the window. I was at the back of the house, the cops were out front.

I looked around to find something to lower myself down with—I’d seen others jumping, but didn’t want to risk it. I was only wearing a skimpy dress.

If my legs got cut up, Dad would know I did something wrong.

There was nothing. Not even a sheet I could tie to a piece of furniture.

Hell, no furniture except a mattress. I thought about throwing it out the window and trying to land on it.

I looked out the window. There was a sort of roof beneath it, with a porch below. I knew it was a porch because the roof was glass, and I could see through it.

Maybe some kind of a sun room.

It was my only chance. I took off my shoes, knowing I’d slide right off in stilettoes.

I could hardly walk on solid ground in them and didn’t want to take a chance on glass. I held them in one hand as I stepped gingerly out onto the glass.

Large panes composed the roof, held together by metal rods. I hoped the rods weren’t rusty, and that the glass was thick enough to support my weight.

I was tiny, but not that tiny.

I walked slowly, tiptoeing over the slightly sloped surface. My legs shook so hard, I was afraid I’d collapse and fall right through.

I took a deep breath, fighting to stay steady. My heart raced so fast, I could barely think straight.

I heard cops shouting inside. Shit! I had to hurry.

I didn’t dare look over my shoulder, for fear of losing my balance. I only hoped there was enough going on in the rec room to keep the police busy for a while.

A big gust of wind came through and blew my dress up around my waist.

I felt the air on my butt and knew my G-string was showing. I looked down, horrified that someone might be looking up.

There was no one there. I could have died of embarrassment, but I was more mortified at the thought of Dad finding out I’d been at this party.

  With a biker gang.

I reached the edge and right away wondered what the hell I was thinking. There were bushes down there, who knew how deep or how thorny they were.

And, I was practically naked. I’d wind up stuck in there for sure.

Maybe if I pushed myself off the roof when I jumped, instead of dropping down. I could back up a little and use my legs to push myself off.

There was grass beyond the bushes, or what would have been grass if it ever got watered. I’d have to try.

Only what if I got hurt? I cursed myself for being so stupid. What did I think I was going to find here, anyway?

The cops would catch me any second. My dad would find out. He’d lose his mind in the middle of the police station. I’d never be allowed out again.

I couldn’t stand there forever. It was jump or let the cops catch me. I threw my shoes down, beyond the bushes, and braced myself.

But I couldn’t take the leap.

Then I heard a voice. “Jump!”

I looked down, and saw a guy in a tight black t-shirt and jeans standing on the ground below me.

He was staring up, a big grin on his face. He looked around, I guessed to make sure no one was watching us.

  “What?” I whispered.

“Come on! Jump!” He waved his hands toward himself.

  Who was this guy?

He looked rough, like the kind of person I’d avoid making eye contact with if I passed him by.

His dark blonde hair was long, to his shoulders, and he had a bit of a goatee. I could just see a tattoo on his bicep, half-hidden by his sleeve.

I’d seen him around the party, I realized. He was making out with a girl when I first walked in, and someone shoved me into them.

He had winked at me. I’d thought he was disgusting.

Now he wasn’t winking. He had his arms out like he was ready to catch me.

“You’ve gotta be kidding,” I muttered.

I had the feeling it was safer just to jump and hope I didn’t hit the bushes.

“Come on!” He was grinning at me like this was some sort of game.

I looked around, weighing my choices. One didn’t look better than the others.

Get caught, land in the bushes, land on this person who I’d never met.

  “I promise I’ll catch you.”

He was still grinning, and I wished he would stop. I felt totally exposed up there.
/>   Had he seen me when my dress blew up? The wind picked up again, and I pressed my hands to my legs.

I shook my head. “I don’t know you,” I whispered, looking around to make sure the cops weren’t coming.

“I know. You can trust me, or you can break both your legs.”

  I looked down again.

It didn’t look too far, but then I remembered a girl I went to school with who jumped out of her bedroom window one night, so she could sneak around with her boyfriend.

She broke both of her legs. No chance of sneaking past Dad with two broken legs.

  “Hurry!”

He was right about that. I didn’t have time to think about it any longer. I didn’t trust him, but I also didn’t have a choice.

I looked into his eyes, and he nodded. I couldn’t believe this was about to happen, and trusted he was as strong as he looked.

“Okay, okay. One, two…three!” I closed my eyes and held my breath, pushing myself from the roof with both legs.

I was airborne for a moment…then his arms were around me, I was falling to the ground, and we were both groaning.

I opened my eyes to find myself sprawled out on top of a complete stranger. He broke my fall.

It was like one of those moments in a movie.

You see it and ask yourself how such a thing could ever happen. A woman is falling into a man’s arms, then they’re suddenly face to face.

How many times had I rolled my eyes when I saw something like that in just about every romantic comedy I’d ever seen?

Here I was, on top of him, face to face. I wasn’t rolling my eyes now.

We were so close, I could feel the warmth from his breath on my skin.

I smelled whiskey, a dangerous and exciting scent from his cologne, and it mixed with my perfume in a new scent which overwhelmed me.

His eyes were very, very blue.

My heart was racing, and I didn’t know if it was the excitement of almost being caught by the cops, or having to jump the way I did, or the way his body heat was making my skin burn.

He smiled, and no words could have said everything I saw there.

Or it could have been my imagination. I told myself that it was.

The wetness spreading in my panties wasn’t my imagination, though.

My face burned red, and I felt an ache inside me.

  This was no good.

So why wasn’t I moving away?

  Chapter 2 - Tyler

Holy shit. Who was this chick?

I knew every girl at the party and had probably fucked more than half of them. I could have had the rest, but I only had so much free time.

I didn’t know her. She looked familiar, but not very. And she didn’t feel familiar.

I had been running around the back of the house to get away from the cops when I saw her standing on the roof.

The wind blew up her dress, and her ass made me stop. She had a perfect ass, round and tight, and her legs were long and sexy.

I was hooked. I almost forgot about the cops.

And now, laying on the ground with her on top of me, cops were the last thing on my mind.

Her tits were pressed against my chest, and I wanted to touch them. I had my hands on her hips, which were right above my crotch.

I felt an urge to pull her closer, grind myself up into her. It took everything not to reach around and touch her legs, her ass.

Her mouth was right in front of mine. Her lips were pink, shiny. They were calling to me, wanting me to kiss them.

Even more, I wanted to kiss them. I reached up, leaning a little bit toward her.

Then I heard shouting from inside the house, and it was over. She was hot, but she wasn’t worth getting arrested over.

“Up,” I whispered, rolling to the side so she would fall away from me.

I took her shoes, thrust them to her, then took her hand and ran through the yard, through the back gate.

There was a privacy fence, so I felt a little safer. It blocked us from view, the cops couldn’t see us here.

“Where do you think you’re taking me?”

She pulled on my hand, like an idiot. Like she was trying to get away from me when I could tell she had no idea where she was.

“You wanna go to jail?” I whispered.

  “No!”

  “Then shut up!”

I looked both ways to make sure there weren’t any cops lurking around, then I pulled her down an alley behind the row of houses.

  “Where are we going?”

  “You’ll see.”

I pushed on her back, to keep her bent low as we ran. She was new at this.

If I left it up to her, she would get herself caught in a minute.

My bike was parked there, in the alley. I didn’t like leaving it out in the open.

People were always trying to touch it, asking for a ride. I didn’t know why they didn’t ask somebody else.

At first, I would always say yeah, because it was usually girls. After a while, it started pissing me off.

  You don’t just touch a guy’s bike.

I had it chained to a fence, and I worked the combination as fast as I could.

“Keep a lookout!” I muttered. I thought she might run away, but she didn’t.

She stood still and looked in both directions.

  “Is this yours?”

“What do you think? I know the combination to the lock, don’t I?” I stood the bike up and got on. “Come on.”

Her mouth hung open. “On this?”

“Are you serious?” I was ready to scream. “I’m gonna count to five, and if you’re not on the back of this bike…”

She got the message and climbed behind me. I could feel her tucking the skirt under her ass, and I laughed to myself.

I knew the people we rode past would get a nice show, and kinda wished I could see for myself when the wind blew her skirt up.

Then we took off. She squealed and grabbed me around the waist. I rolled my eyes. Amateur, I thought.

She wasn’t the kind of girl to ride around on a motorbike. She thought she was too good for this.

I didn’t know how I knew. I just got a strong feeling about her.

Then why had she been at the party? It didn’t make sense.

I didn’t let myself worry about it too much. Riding was too much fun for me to care.

And I wanted to put as much distance as possible between us and that house. The party had been bad news.

I shouldn’t have stayed as long as I did.

But then, I wouldn’t have met this chick behind me.

I felt her pressed up against me. Her legs were on either side of me, and they were long and slim. I imagined what the humming from the engine was doing to her, and it got me hard.

Her hands were clasped together, just above where I was straining in my pants. I wished she would move them down just a little bit.

“Where are we going?” I heard her call out to me over the engine, and the sound of the wind rushing past us both.

I pretended not to hear. I didn’t want the ride to end, but I couldn’t have explained why with a gun to my head.

I just wanted her behind me. There was something different about her.

Something nice and fresh. I didn’t get a lot of that in my world.

Then she tugged so hard at my jacket, she almost unbalanced me.

“What?” I called back, irritated. She was going to get us both killed.

  “Where are we going?”

“Wherever I want us to go!” I knew it wasn’t right, but I loved playing with her.

She had never known anyone like me before. She was a good girl.

I’d never see her again, so why not have a little fun?

“No way! I’ll get off at the next light!”

  “Fine.”

Killjoy. There was a diner up ahead, and I turned the bike into the parking lot.

Good thing my dick had gone down, so I wouldn’t have to feel embarrasse
d when I stood.

  “Why are we here?”

“You ask a lot of questions.” I pulled into a space and cut the engine. “Seriously, why not just relax and enjoy life for a minute?”

She got off the bike and scowled at me. “I don’t want to be here.”

“Then I’m sure you can get an Uber. Maybe. Or maybe not, at this time of night.”

Those pink lips of hers were frowning. Her lip gloss shone in the light from the diner’s neon sign.

I wondered if women knew what that does to a man. How much it makes us want to kiss them…and more.

“You’re not getting it. I don’t have time for this. I really need to go.”

I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to her yet, but I would never tell her that.

I didn’t even like admitting it to myself. “I’m hungry. I need to eat something.”

“Oh, come on!” She was ready to explode. I loved it.

“You’re not hungry? After all that running around?”

I was still sitting on the bike, watching her pace back and forth.

“No! I just want to go home.”

“That’s great. But I need to eat first. So either you get a ride some other way, or you wait for me to eat. Or you get something for yourself and chill the hell out a little bit.”

She wasn’t happy about it, but she knew there was no choice. I stood and walked to the diner’s door.

I heard her behind me and smiled to myself. Why put up all that fight if she was just going to give in, anyway?

I chose a booth by the window. She hesitated, saying, “Do we have to sit here?”

“Why?” I looked around. The place was pretty crowded, mostly college kids. “There’s not much else to choose from.”

She looked out the window, and I knew she was worried. “You don’t wanna be seen with me, right?”

I wasn’t surprised, but it did sting a little bit. I knew all the other rich college kids would feel the same way.

“No!” She slid into the booth, across from me. “I just don’t…want to be seen, in general.” She looked out the window again.

  “By who?”

  “None of your business.”

A boyfriend? It had to be.

Maybe he was jealous. I would be, too, if she were mine. I’d kick the shit out of any guy who put a hand on her.
