K. Paul Johnson, Edgar Cayce in Context (Albany, N.Y.: State University of New York Press, 1998). A scholarly analysis of Edgar Cayce’s teachings arranged according to the four roles that he played in his work: holistic health adviser, Christian theosopher, clairvoyant time traveler, and esoteric psychologist. It is among the most significant books written about Cayce in recent years.
