“As you command.” He kissed her hand. “I think we have talked enough.” His kisses wandered to her neck, lower. Amanda, bless her, fully cooperated. She was a quick learner in that regard, too, and he could not get enough of her.

Lucian was no fool. Since he had finally found what he had not known he needed most, in all his previous life, he would hold on to it with both hands and cherish his beloved every precious day. “Whoever chose your name, ‘she who must be loved,’ was prophetic,” he murmured in between kisses. “How did they know?”
She giggled, sounding endearingly young. “It was my grandmother. She said that love and happiness went together. I know now that she was right. But even better than to be beloved is to love in return. And I do, Lucian. Very much.”
Lucian kissed her again, more passionately than ever, and proceeded to show his wife how greatly her sentiments were appreciated and returned. Yet it was not enough. He would show her again that night, and the next, and the
