VEILED MIRROR Page 26

by Frankie Robertson

“His son Conrad, however, has just transferred to UCSD. Altesse the younger is not fond of restrictions or his bodyguards, so you should be able to get close to him.”

I was still waiting for an explanation, and I was starting to feel annoyed. “And do what exactly?” I asked a bit sharply.

Foxworth ignored my tone. “Seduce him and conceive his firstborn child.”

  ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

VEILED MIRROR was my first novel length sale. A large number of people aided and supported me along the way. Among those who encouraged me in the early days are:

Kathryn Kane, my first fan (after my husband.)

Jennifer Roberson, who first suggested I try writing romance.

Early readers Gloria McMillan, Les Reese, and Janna Scott.

The”Working Title” critique group: David Felts, Larry Hammer, Jill Knowles, Pamela D. Lloyd, Earl W. Parrish, Roxy Rogers, and Janni Lee Simner.

The “Tanque Wordies” critique group: Dennis L. McKiernan, Diane Turner, and John Vornholt.

The “Indie Babes,” Kathleen Kirkwood, Caroline Mickelson, Roxy Rogers, and Tara Simone have been, and continue to be, an endless source of information and inspiration.

The Tucson Romance Writers of America chapter for giving me opportunities to grow.

  Thank you all.

This book was originally published by The Wild Rose Press, a small pubisher which is staffed by wonderful people. The fact that I have chosen to publish this revised version of VEILED MIRROR under my own label of Castle Rock Publishing should not be taken as any reflection on TWRP.
