  “Fuckkk.”

“Oh, god,” Jess whispers, her hands braced on West’s knees as she leans forward too.

Lifting my head back slightly, she lowers hers, wanting exactly what I do. Her lips crush against mine as our breaths mingle together.

“Bring them closer, Rick,” West grunts in between moans, making Maverick grab my hips in a deathly hold and thrust deep inside me, knocking me forward. Oh, shit. That’s hot.

  “Again.”

He doesn’t disappoint, edging me closer to Jess with every piston of his cock inside me. Jess refuses to break her lips from mine, cries of ecstasy on her lips as we come closer.

“Sit up, beautiful,” I breathe against her lips, and she complies, whimpering as she sinks down deeper on West’s pulsing cock, cupping her breasts as she rides him.

I know I’m close, and I want to bring her over the edge with me.

Maverick rocks into me again, nudging me further forward, and I lean down, in between West’s legs as I bring my tongue to Jess’s clit, and she cries out in bliss, continuing to grind against West.

“Fuck, yeah,” Maverick mumbles behind me, his hands on my hips gripping even tighter before he releases a hand to squeeze my dick, maintaining the hard and fast pace of his cock inside of me.

“Shit. Fuck. I’m so close,” I ramble against Jess’s pussy, and she wraps her fingers in my hair, holding me in place so she can grind against my lips and West’s cock with precision.

“Yes. Yes. Fuck,” Jess screams, her fingers tightening in my hair as she comes apart at the seams. The way she pulls my hair, along with Maverick’s fist around my length as he pounds into me, is all I need.

My orgasm explodes through my body, and I bite down on Jess’s clit, hearing her scream in ecstasy as she continues to ride every wave of pleasure.

West’s legs are bent at the knee, completely tense as he grips Jess’s waist.

“Shit,” Maverick stammers, his hips moving erratically as he cums along with the rest of us.

Sweat drips from every part of my body. My hair sticks to my face as Maverick slowly removes himself from my ass, and I drop to the mat, rolling to my back as I try to catch my breath.

“That was the hottest thing I have ever seen in my life,” Jess whimpers as she lays beside me, lacing her fingers through mine.

“We need to get one of those ceiling mirror setups, so you can watch how fucking hot you are, beautiful,” I respond, and she bites her lip. Fuck, she likes that.

“God, I love you,” West murmurs, bending over to kiss her on the head, and I close my eyes, beyond content.

“I love you,” Jess says, and I can feel the smile on her lips as she says it. Not specifying anyone’s name as she does, and I like it even more.

I didn’t realize I needed to find myself until I already had, and that’s all thanks to her.

  “Happy fucking birthday to me.”

  Maverick

Oh my god, how long does it actually take for women to get ready? The party will be over at this rate. Which is actually not a bad idea since it’s only a bunch of kids that’s going to be there.

It’s not my birthday celebration, but I’d rather have just had a small get together.

Bracing my arms on my thighs, I sigh, glancing at the bored looks on everyone else’s face too. The Aces are sprawled across one sofa while I sit beside West. Luckily for Aiden, he has duties to take care of for the party instead of dying from boredom.

“What’s taking them so long?” I murmur, glancing at my watch again.

The Aces laugh, Parker leaning over the arm of the sofa to pat my arm.

“They do this everytime, man, but it’s so fucking worth it.”

I simply raise an eyebrow. Jessica does not need to put on any make-up or skimpy outfits. But if that's what makes her happy, I’ll sit here, begrudgingly.

“Any updates from Rafe?” Roman asks, but I shake my head, Kai doing the same.

“I think we need to discuss between us, without the girls, who stays and who goes when the time comes,” Kai murmurs, keeping his voice down so they can’t hear him from the other room.

“What?” I ask with a frown, and the Aces all perk up, frowning back at me.

“When they locate Jess’s father, we need to decide who stays to protect Jess and who goes with Rafe,” Kai repeats, and my eyes squint even more.

Clearing my throat, I roll out my shoulders. “Sorry, I didn’t think you guys were going to offer to go.” The way their eyes bug out at my admission is almost comical. But realizing they’re willing to protect her father, just like they did when we stormed the warehouse for her, settles in my soul.

These fuckers might get on my damn nerves, but their loyalty and care for Jessica makes me see them in a different light.

“I think Kai and Parker should stay here with Maverick while Roman, West, and I go,” Oscar whispers, his eyes flickering to Luna’s bedroom door as he does.

“Why?” Parker quizzes, and Oscar leans in, rubbing his hands together before answers.

“West has sniping abilities,” he states, glancing to West for confirmation, who nods in response. “Roman is a motherfucking assassin, and I can make explosives in my sleep. While Kai can monitor the tech side of things here as Rafe does it with us. Leaving Parker and Maverick to have the combat strength around Jess, in case there is a surprise attack.”

I mull over his words, and I can’t find a single argument. Motherfucker actually has a point, and I’m slightly impressed, but I’m not going to tell him that.

“Okay,” I murmur, and his gaze whips to mine, likely surprised I agreed so easily, but I’m not purposely an asshole.

The others murmur their agreement too, leaving Oscar to stand and strut like a fucking peacock, pleased with himself. His gaze whips back to mine, and I see the question before he even asks it.

“So, are we finally going to discuss how old you are? I’ve been nice about it, not pushed, but the joke’s getting old now,” Oscar asks, swiping invisible lint from his Henley top, and I force myself to not roll my eyes at him.

“Wait, you don’t know how old he is?” West pipes up from beside me, and I give him the side-eye, which only makes him laugh.

“This fucker thinks he should just know everything. I tend to disagree.” I shrug, making him chuckle harder.

“Fuck you ass—” he trails off, likely losing the ability to talk as the girls walk into the room.

I’m dead. And this is heaven. Jessica Watson has ruined me for life.

She looks like a fucking angel. The palest of pink dresses clings to her chest and the top of her thighs. Thin straps lead to a see-through sequined bodice, and my fingers itch to trace the bone structure I can see. The bottom half is layered with feathers, barely covering her ass, and it makes her legs look longer than her small five-foot three-inch frame.

My mouth is dry, and she blushes under our scrutiny. The room is silent as the Aces stare at Luna in her little black dress.

Finally finding my feet, I’m up and off the sofa in a flash, standing before my petal before West can get to her first.

Her red hair is curled around her shoulders, my fingers trapping a piece as I take her in.

“You look so fucking stunning. I want to take you home already,” I murmur, giving her the honest truth, and she grins up at me.

“That can definitely be arranged, after I’ve had shots and dancing,” she responds playfully, hitting my chest with her purse as my hands find her waist.

  “Shots and dancing, huh?”

She nods with a bite of her lip as West finally interrupts us. I hear him talking Jessica up, but his words don’t register as I continue to look over every inch of my woman.

I can’t help but see her in a different light from only days ago. Unloading my baggage on her the other night, and having her understand and love me all the same, made me realize even more how real this all is between us.

I would do anything for her, and I know
she would do anything for me, and the others too.

“I hope you ladies don’t think you’re dancing anywhere like that tonight,” Oscar grunts from behind me, and I frown at everyone as I glance at their responses.

“You’re fucking with me, right?” I ask, and Oscar gapes at me.

“For fuck’s sake, man, I thought this would be something we would agree on.”

“Oscar, they’re practically the only two girls who can dance safely tonight. We know how to fucking fight for moments just like this,” I respond with a raised eyebrow, and his eyes light up.

Kai pats my arm as he passes me, swooping his arm around Luna and pulling her towards the door, and Jessica giggles at the whole scene.

“Come on, Rambo,” she murmurs, linking her arm through mine and West’s at the same time.

“So, she knows Rambo, too? I made a smart decision in loving you, petal,” I murmur, but I don’t miss the surprise in West’s eyes as he hears me say the words.

Letting Jessica pull me along, I can’t say I’m sad I’m being forced to socialize tonight. Not when I get to see her light up like this.

  Jess

The music blasts from the speakers, intoxicating my senses as we sit and chat in the exact same booth where my lips first touched Aiden’s.

I’m desperate to dance, but the birthday boy still isn’t here yet, and I want to see him before I get lost in the music and the Sambuca shots.

I can’t stop myself from searching the crowds of people, watching for Reece after his threat the other day. But I’m more concerned with keeping everyone else under control around him once they’ve had a drink because they all want to kill him.

Glancing around the gazebos, I’m a little sad that there aren’t any birthday decorations up, but Aiden said this is just how his bloodline is expected to celebrate. He and Trudy prefer to keep things separate, and I understand that.

Sandwiched between Maverick and West, with Luna and the Aces on the other side of the booth, I have a perfect view of the dance floor.

I still as hands cover my eyes, the person standing on the outside of the booth, my heart pounds rapidly in my chest with fear, until I hear them whisper in my ear.

“How does my beautiful look even more spectacular this evening?”

I relax back into my seat, tilting my head back to see Aiden looking over me, mischief twinkling in his eyes. Ignoring everyone else at the table, he lowers his mouth to mine, peppering my lips with little kisses before exploring my mouth with his tongue.

Fuck, how did it just get so warm in here? His hand strokes under my chin as Maverick grips my thighs and West strokes my knuckles.

I blush when he releases his hold, leaving me wanting as he finally walks around the booth to see there aren’t any available seats.

Smiling lightly at Luna and the others, he turns his gaze to us. “West, you either lift our girl into your lap, or I take a seat on Maverick’s, but either way, I’m sitting.”

God, his mood is electric as he waggles his eyebrows at Maverick, and West wraps his hands around my waist, pulling me onto his lap.

“I’ll never complain about having you even closer, sunshine,” West murmurs against my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

“You’re no fun, West,” Aiden pouts as he climbs onto Maverick’s lap, slowly moving to take the space I just vacated.

“Look, Oscar, another bossy bottom,” Parker calls out, and Kai spits his drink out as Luna throws her head back with laughter.

I hear Oscar grumble in response, but my focus is on Aiden.

“Bossy bottom, he’d like that, wouldn’t he, Jess?”

I laugh along with his teasing as Maverick shakes his head at us. Aiden finally settles in beside me just as a bottle of Sambuca is brought to the table with plenty of shot glasses.

Clapping with excitement, I watch as Aiden grabs the bottle and pours everyone a shot. Taking my glass, I raise it in the air along with the others.

“Happy birthday, Aiden,” I sing, and everyone at the table repeats the sentiment before we all down our shots.

The aniseed burns down my throat, leaving my lips tingling, and I’m desperate for another.

Nestling back in the seat beside me, Aiden leans his arm behind me on the back of the booth, letting his grey skin-tight shirt stretch against his biceps, making me wet my lips as I take him in.

“How do you always look so flawless in your shirts?” I ask, rubbing my thighs together, and he smirks at me.

“Beautiful, I spent the first fourteen years of my life hiding in the closet. I was not going to come out dressing like shit now, was I?”

Holy mother of god, this guy. He leans forward, licking my bottom lip as everyone chuckles at his statement.

“So, I just made sure Reece was set up in the sex tent. Are you sure you don’t want me to measure his drugs wrong? It’d look like a total accident?” He asks, with his puppy dog eyes, and I shake my head. That’s not how we fight this. Well, not yet anyway.

“Not today,” I murmur, and he rolls his eyes.

“Fine. But don’t think I didn’t make sure he was sent in the direction of some ravishing STDs,” he grunts, taking another shot of Sambuca as Oscar leans over the table to high-five him.

All I can do is gape at him and his thought process.

“Luna, can we dance now?” I offer my sweetest smile, and she nods in agreement.

Turning in West’s lap, his lips call to mine, and I can’t help but crush them together before I start to get out of the booth.

“Oh, save one for me, beautiful. I just have to arrange a few more things, and then I should be done,” Aiden whispers in my ear as I climb over him.

“You bet,” I murmur back as Maverick grabs my thigh as I shuffle over him too.

“I’m so ready to watch your ass shake in this damn dress,” he grunts, catching me by surprise as his eyes stay locked on my breasts.

“Look at you, openly ogling the goodies,” I giggle in his ear as he places a kiss on my throat.

“Have fun,” is all he offers in response, but this side of him, the soft, fun, and open side turns me on even more than his growls.

Wrapping my hand in Luna’s, I pull us to the dance floor. Mingling between the crowd, to dance in the center.

Positions by Ariana Grande starts to play through the speakers, and I instantly get lost in the sway of the beat. The bright lights cascade over my skin as I move my body to the music.

Bodies pack in together, increasing the heat, and making me sweat as I raise my hands above my head and rock my hips.

“Look at her, such a fucking whore!” Someone shouts, but I don’t pay any mind to it, not wanting to get involved in someone else’s drama when I already have so much of my own.

Dancing with Luna, we switch places as the song changes to a fast-paced dance song, everyone’s movements becoming faster.

Head tipped back, I feel my hair cascade down my back as I continue to move to the beat.

“She dances like a slut. It doesn’t surprise me, since she’s fucking two tutors,” someone calls out again, but this time I know it’s aimed at me, and as much as I can tell they’re goading me, I can’t stop myself from whirling round.

Three girls stand before me, and I recognize them from Diamond. They used to hang off every word that came out of Wren and Becky’s mouths, and it seems they want to be the new school bitches.

“I’m sorry, what did you say?” I ask, no longer dancing.

“I said, you’re a tutor whore. Who’s next? Hmm.” Standing with her hands on her hips, she looks me up and down like I’m dirt on her shoe. “You know they’ll be moving on to the next student in no time right? Who should I say yes to first, West or Maverick?”

  Over. My. Dead. Fucking. Body.

Stepping into her personal space, I don’t even register what I’m doing as my body takes over. My fist flies at her face, hitting her square in the nose, and I cringe at the crunch.

  Her frien
ds jump back, not even catching her fall as Luna grabs my shoulder and whirls me around, so she’s standing between me and the bitch on the floor.

“What the fuck is going on?” Luna growls, ready to continue what I started as the crowd slows around us.

Ah, fuck. An audience, I’m such an idiot.

The girl whimpers on the floor as her friends continue to back away from us, and I feel my guys the second they step on the dance floor.

“Jess? Sunshine, are you okay?” West asks, wrapping his arm around me as he pulls me to his chest, not caring who sees, and I relax into his hold.

“I’m fine, I just let her get under my skin, and my body reacted before my brain could catch up,” I murmur back as the music dims, drawing even more attention to the situation.

“Anybody else?” Luna yells, glancing around at everyone looking, and they all instantly turn away. “Good. And you,” she grunts, crouching down in front of the girl on the floor. “You’re lucky Red throws a mean punch all on her own. Otherwise, I’d continue to beat the shit out of you.”

She doesn’t respond. Her attitude and big mouth is long forgotten as she realizes her mistake.

I may seem quiet, and defenseless, but they seem to forget who my circle is. Never mind the fact that they train me to stand my ground.

She just killed my vibes for dancing tonight.

“What did she say, petal?” Maverick asks as Aiden rushes across the dance floor to see what’s going on too.

“Nothing of importance really, but she did ask who fucked better, and I think I’m in need of a reminder,” I say loud enough for her to hear, and I blow her a kiss as my men lead me away.

She fucking deserved that, but now my hand hurts. Bitch.

  Jess

Smoothing my favorite cream over my face, I look myself over in the mirror. I’m glad I didn’t end up drinking too much last night. I got to spend some time with Luna instead.

She decided girl time was needed and kicked all the boys out. But the second it was ten in the morning, they were pounding on the door.

I did something totally crazy, but not a little bit reckless, and I love it. It feels right. My eyes trail to it repeatedly, but I want to wait for the right time to show them.
