With one last loving stroke of their shafts and a squeeze of their balls for good measure, she removed her hands, smiling when she heard the groans that escaped her mates. “Okay, I’ll be good. I promise. But after the massage, I’m going to do what I want to do.”

She moved toward the bed, climbing up on it slowly and crawling across the towel that Spence had spread down for her. She made sure to crawl slowly, swinging her hips lightly as she wiggled her butt seductively for her men. She yelped in surprise when a large hand came down on her right butt cheek, slapping it with just the right amount of pressure to make her channel clench and the cream drip from her pussy. The quick slap was repeated on her left cheek, and she couldn’t prevent the moan of desire that left her.

“Oh, you guys are so going to pay for that,” she muttered as she settled on the towel and lowered her head onto her pillow.

“You don’t know which one of us did that,” Spence told her, laughing. “It will be tough to make us pay if you don’t know who was responsible.”

“Oh, you think so, do you?” Lainey said seriously as she comfortably settled her head on the pillow and lay with her arms completely relaxed at her sides. “I know that you each slapped my ass. I can tell whose hand is on me at all times. I know the touch of my men.”

Spence smiled as he took his place by her side. “You’re too smart for your own good, Mate,” he whispered as he leaned in and kissed her shoulder before traveling up her neck, pushing her hair aside and kissing the mating mark there. He pulled back and looked at the three joined links, smiling as he saw the proof of her pregnancy. He looked at Tim and indicated the mark that he saw Tim had already noticed at the same time that he did.

Tim lay down beside Lainey and kissed her back, making his way up her body to her neck. He, too, kissed the mating mark and smiled at the miracle that he saw before him. “Thank you, Lainey,” he whispered against the back of her neck so softly he knew that she couldn’t hear him.

“We’re going to use some warm oil to give you a massage, kitten,” Spence told her gently, trying very hard to keep his emotions under control.

“Okay,” Lainey whispered, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath as she relaxed between her men.

“Do you smell the strawberry scent?” Tim asked her.

“Yes,” Lainey whispered. “It smells really nice.”

“It’s a strawberry candle that’s made from soy,” Tim explained. “It’s a special candle that also has pheromones in it that will help you to be more attracted to us.”

“Timmy, if I was any more attracted to you and Spence I wouldn’t be able to live my life,” Lainey told him, snorting.

“What do you mean, kitten?” Spence asked her, reaching out to lift the small, heart-shaped container that contained the warm oil of the melted candle.

“I would have at least one of you inside me at all times,” Lainey told them honestly.

Spence looked across at Tim and smiled. Tim’s responding smile made Spence know that his best friend was just as happy with Lainey’s words as he was.

“Honey, I love when you talk like that,” Tim told her, kissing her mating mark one more time.

“Yeah, well, I love when you guys make love to me,” she whispered. “You’re going to let me take control one of these days, right?”

“Sure, kitten, whenever you want to be in control, just say the word,” Spence agreed.

“Actually, I don’t want to be in control,” Lainey told them, smiling. “I love when the both of you show me how strong you are. I love you showing me the way.” She sighed happily. “I don’t want to think about anything except how you’re touching me. I really liked it when you tied my hands to the headboard. That was pretty cool.”

She smiled as she heard the soft chuckles of her men. She didn’t know if they believed her or not, but she was damn serious. She was actually looking forward to future moments of being under their complete control.

“Baby, just relax and let us make you feel good,” Tim told her softly. “The candle wax melts at a lower temperature and has turned into a warm massage oil. It won’t be an uncomfortable temperature—just warm enough to make you feel good. Just relax and enjoy it, Mate.”

“Okay,” Lainey whispered, humming with pleasure as the warm oil was dribbled down her back, across her buttocks, and along the lengths of the back of her legs.

She felt her men moving beside her, their large hands settling on her skin and massaging every inch of her body. She decided that the sweet scent of strawberry would always be her favorite from that moment on. It would always remind her of the way Spence and Tim kneaded her tired muscles, making her nearly silly with pleasure.

Their strong hands pressed and rubbed against her muscles, easing all of her aches and tiredness with each of their touches. Her shoulders lost their aches, the muscles of her back relaxed, and her waist, buttocks, and thighs quivered under the ministrations of her mates’ sure strokes. When their hands pressed along the muscles of her legs, the firmness of their touches delicious as they each massaged her calves and her feet, she sighed happily. There was not one bit of skin or muscle that they left untouched. It was complete heaven.

“So good,” she whispered, relaxing completely as their hands cherished her body. She had never been so thankful in her life to have been given the gift of such loving, gentle men.

Time passed in a haze of pleasure as her men massaged away her worry and stress until she was relaxed to the point of near unconsciousness. The fact that their hands remained firm and gentle, never touching her in a sexual nature, allowed her to completely give in to the soothing nature of the massage. She had never felt so relaxed and at peace in her life.

She tried to stay awake, she really did, but it was impossible not to give in to her tiredness as her men rhythmically and determinedly pushed her to complete satiation. It wasn’t long before she gave up her battle to remain awake so she could love her men silly.

“I love you,” she whispered softly as she gradually slipped into a deep sleep.

Spence kissed her mating mark lightly, leaning back and looking down at her serene features as Tim did the same. They were silent as Lainey slept between them, each of them unable to keep themselves from touching her.

They touched the nape of her neck reverently, emotions filling them as they looked at the amazing miracle before them. Their index fingers traced her rose gold link and the two, tiny golden links that hung from it.

  Chapter 22

Lainey sat between Spence and Tim at the large dining room table in Deuce McKade’s home. She couldn’t keep the small smile from gracing her lips as she felt both of her mates reaching beneath the table to grasp her hands and hold them firmly on the tops of their tightly muscled thighs. She pulled loose just slightly and ran her hands along the tops of their legs, closing her hand around their inner thighs and brushing her knuckles against the growing bulges at their groins.

“Lainey, if you keep that up I’m going to drag you out of this house and take you over the hood of my truck,” Tim warned her, as he spoke softly into her ear.

Lainey laughed quietly and turned to kiss his chin lightly. “Okay, Timmy. I’ll behave,” she promised. “But I would love it if you did just that when we finish dinner.”

“What?” Spence asked as he nuzzled against her neck.

She turned to lean into his neck and kissed his earlobe lightly. “Timmy promised to make love to me over the hood of his truck,” she told him so that only he could hear. “I would love it if you would join in on that.”

Spence leaned back and looked down at her. His blue eyes were smoldering with need as he faced her. “Lainey,” he whispered, unable to trust himself to say more.

Lainey giggled softly, winking at Spence before turning to Tim and reaching up to touch his jaw with the back of her index finger. When he captured her hand and drew it to his mouth to kiss her knuckles tenderly, she melted. Her two men made her feel such unbelievable love and contentmen
t.

“You three look happy,” Deuce called to them from his place at the head of the table.

Lainey turned and faced the oldest McKade brother, unable to keep the grin of happiness from her face. Once again she noticed and appreciated the raven black hair and blue eyes that were the stunning traits of every member of the McKade family. She looked around the table at the men who sat there. Every one of them held such caring for everyone. It was easy to be comforted by them and to be attracted to the striking good looks of all of them.

“I can’t speak for Tim and Spence, but I know that I’m very happy,” she offered honestly.

“Mate, you know we’re happy,” Spence spoke up, leaning in to kiss Lainey’s cheek lightly.

“Very happy,” Tim agreed, kissing her temple.

“Good thing, or I wouldn’t follow through with the commitment ceremony this weekend,” Lainey told them, reaching out and grabbing a roll and a butter knife. She buttered the roll quickly and took a small bite. “All of you will be there, right?”

“Lainey, that’s awesome,” Becca nearly squealed. “You brat! Why didn’t you tell me?” She got up quickly, pushing away Rafe’s hands as he tried to steady her. Walking around the table, she went over to her sister and embraced her tightly as Lainey stood to accept her hug.

“I just found out myself,” she whispered into Becca’s ear. “I’m so happy, Becca.”

“Lainey, I can’t even tell you how happy that makes me, honey,” Becca whispered back. “You deserve the love of your men. Always hold them tight against your heart. Love and protect them. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s wrong, because it’s very right, Lainey.”

Lainey pulled back and looked at her sister with tears in her eyes. “I needed to hear that, Becca,” she told her quietly.

“Just listen to your heart and live the life you were meant to have with your men.”

Becca turned to face Spence and Tim, smiling at them and reaching out to hold their hands gently within her own. She found herself cuddled between them as they stood and surrounded both her and Lainey in their embrace. It was a nice feeling. She could feel their love and experienced a small moment of sadness as she realized that this kind of all-encompassing love was not meant for her. She looked over her shoulder and saw that Rafe was looking at her with an expression on his face that she couldn’t quite figure out. She knew she had to be wrong in thinking that she saw sadness and longing in his incredible blue eyes. She knew such feelings were not ever meant to be directed at her by the man who would always hold her heart but who refused her love.

“Do you have it all planned out?” Melanie asked as she held Luke’s hand and squeezed it tightly. Her visions that each of the women present would be mated within the next few months was coming true one by one, and she couldn’t be more thrilled about it. These amazing friends that were her family were meant to be mated.

“Spence and Tim have done it all,” Lainey told them. “All I have to do is show up.

“Where, Lainey?” Jamie asked as she leaned against John and hugged him tightly.

“The west pasture where we used to play as kids,” Spence spoke up. “That’s the place that means the most to the three of us.”

“That’s so nice,” Gracie whispered, looking at Deuce and smiling softly up at him. “How is it possible to love you even more than I did before?”

“Hey, how is it that Deuce gets credit for what Spence and I did?” Tim protested.

“Quiet, Tim,” Deuce demanded. “Don’t cramp my style.”

“What style?” Tim asked, laughing as the rest of the family joined in with their own laughter.

“The style where I know when to take my mate’s love without question and take credit for anything she’ll give me credit for,” Deuce told him, looking at him and raising an eyebrow in a challenge to have Tim negate his words. “Don’t defy me, Timothy. I’m still the head of this family and you will listen to what I say.”

Tim nodded and laughed softly as he pulled Lainey tighter between him and Spence. “I wanted to talk to all of you about that, Deuce,” he said seriously. “I’ve filed papers to legally change my name to McKade. I hope all of you are okay with that.”

“Tim, you’re already a McKade,” Luke told him firmly. “You always have been.”

“About time,” Jake spoke up, looking at the man that they all considered part of their family. He saw the way his brother Spence touched Tim’s shoulder and squeezed it lightly. Lainey cuddled against Tim’s chest and pulled Spence closer against her side. He could feel the happiness that the three of them shared and knew it was right.

“So nice,” Claire whispered, cuddling Mary Grace against her chest just a little tighter.

“Yes, angel,” Jake told her softly, reaching out and placing his arm around her shoulder and pulling her against him to hug her gently. He felt her melt into him before stiffening and pulling away, but he wasn’t going to let her do that. “No, Claire. You stay exactly where you belong. Do you hear me?” His voice was barely a whisper but the steel command in it was unmistakable.

“Don’t demand something of me that you won’t follow through on,” Claire warned him as he leaned toward her and kissed her temple lightly.

“Oh, angel, I’m going to follow through on this,” he told her, his words soft against her ear.

Claire closed her eyes and accepted the soothing buffer that washed over her whenever Jake touched her. “I don’t think so,” she whispered, knowing he couldn’t hear her. She hoped that he would indeed follow through, but she knew that he wouldn’t. She had been through hell and back with him getting close and then pulling away from her. She didn’t think she would be able to survive it when he rejected her again—and she just knew that was exactly what he would do.

Becca slowly made her way around the table to take her seat beside Rafe once again. When he touched her leg lightly, she had to force herself to remain still. She didn’t even dare to look at him. She knew that if she saw his beautiful blue eyes looking at her with desire, she would lose what little control she had over her emotions. Instead of looking at him, she focused on her sister and watched as Lainey sat down and her mates settled contentedly beside her. She had to close her eyes and take a calming breath as she felt Rafe take her hand and squeeze it gently. His warmth spread through her, and she was filled with a feeling she didn’t want to have—hope.

“Your mates look pretty happy, Lainey,” Gracie spoke up as she passed the basket of rolls to Spence. “I seem to remember Deuce wearing that same contented expression once I stopped being so stubborn and accepted our mating.”

“Everything got better once you accepted my rules, Gracie,” Deuce told her, winking and smiling at the look of indignation his mate immediately gave him. “Are you going to deny that my rules make you happy, sweetheart? Or are you going to admit that my rules are exactly what you need?” His voice was deep with love as he leaned forward and kissed her lips lightly.

“Maybe,” Gracie allowed, reaching up and grabbing a handful of his curly black hair and tugging on it lightly. “We can discuss it later.”

She released her hold on him, stood, and was about to leave to go into the kitchen when Deuce reached out and pulled her back toward him so that she stood beside his chair. She looked down at him and waited patiently for him to tell her what he needed.

He didn’t say a word. Instead, he pulled her shirt up slowly and leaned forward to kiss her exposed belly gently. He rested his cheek against the soft swell of their baby that was growing within her, slowly rubbing his cheek against her before turning to kiss it once again.

“Okay, you can go into the kitchen now,” he told her, winking at her. “I just needed to love our baby for a second.”

Gracie’s blue eyes twinkled with love for the man who possessed her completely. “Oh, James,” she whispered, reaching up and carding her fingers through his soft curls, tugging on them gently. “You make me ache.”

  “Why, baby?” Deuce ask
ed her, concerned, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her tighter against his chest.

“It’s a good ache,” Gracie told him softly. “I’ll have to show you later just how much I love how you make me feel.” She leaned forward and kissed his lips lightly. “Have I told you lately how much I love being your mate?” Her words were whispered against his mouth and were softly spoken, but she knew the others could hear her, and she didn’t care that they did. She was proud of the love she shared with Deuce McKade, and she was thankful to be starting a family with him.

Deuce stood slowly, drawing Gracie into his arms and lifting her off her feet. Turning, he walked into the kitchen, kissing the woman he loved without thinking about any of the others at the table.

“Start dinner without us,” he called to them over his shoulder. “We’ll be out as soon as I thank Gracie for loving me and giving me the gift of our baby.”

The soft laughter that filled the room was born of the happiness the rest of the family had for Deuce and Gracie. Lainey looked around the room and smiled, knowing that every one of them held their own memories of the both of them helping them all to grow and learn and become the adults that they were. Without Gracie and Deuce, they would have fallen apart. It was right that the both of them were rewarded with their newfound happiness.

Reaching out, she took Spence’s and Tim’s hands within her own and squeezed them lightly as they rested on her thighs. How could she even begin to tell them how much she wanted them to be happy with her if there was a baby growing inside of her right then. Old fears and worries tugged at her heart, but she pushed them aside firmly. She had to trust that everything would work out, and she and her mates would have a happy future filled with children that they would create together out of love. She had to believe that they truly didn’t care which one of them fathered their children.

“We have an amazing family,” she whispered, glad when both of her men leaned into her and rubbed their faces lovingly against her cheeks.
