“You haven’t met?” said Holtzmann. “This is my mentor, Elizabeth Gorin.”

“Oh, it’s so nice to finally meet—” Erin was cut off.

“This is reckless, Jillian,” Dr. Gorin scolded. “You’re breeding fissile plutonium with insufficient criticality moderation. All someone has to do is sneeze too hard and everyone in this building is disintegrated. Do you know how powerful that is?”

“I was bad,” Holtzmann said, head down.

“And I’ve never been more proud of you,” Dr. Gorin brought Holtzmann in for a hug. “Now let’s make this more powerful, shall we?” She started turning knobs.

“Yeah!” Holtzmann got back to work.

Erin walked away, a little concerned. “Power within reason,” she told Holtzmann.

“But don’t limit yourselves,” Abby added.

“Definitely not,” Erin clarified. “But at the same time, imagine a ‘responsible cap.’ ”

Patty came running down the stairs. “Hey, you gotta check this out! Come up to the roof!”

The Ghostbusters gathered on the rooftop. Patty pointed to the distance.

“I guess it’s a thank-you from New York,” Patty said.

“That’s very thoughtful of them,” Holtzmann grinned.

The Empire State Building was all lit up—with the Ghostbusters logo on the side.

“Well, that’s not terrible,” Abby said proudly.

“No it’s not. Not terrible at all,” Erin agreed.
