I was ready to take her right there on the table in front of everyone. The throbbing need between my legs couldn't be ignored much longer.
Riley returned with my bottle of whiskey and a shot glass. “Anything else I can get for you, sir?”
“Another shot glass for you,” I replied.
“Excuse me?”
“Get a shot glass, take a seat, and drink with me.”
Her eyes shifted nervously side to side. “I'm sorry but I'm not allowed to drink with customers. Can I get you something to eat?”
I poured myself a shot of whiskey and knocked it back. The burning liquid warmed my insides on the way down. The more I talked with Riley the more I wanted her.
She would be mine by the end of the night.
“I'll get a burger,” I said, not even looking at the menu.
Riley started to write then stopped. “Any specific one?”
“Surprise me,” I replied. “Pick whatever one is your favorite.”
Riley raised her eyebrows and shook her head. “Whatever you want.” She walked away and left me to my liquor.
I poured a few more shots for myself and looked over the crowd. The bar was busy tonight and I assumed it was like this almost every night. I had a bar like this back home but it was never this crowded.
“I see you decided to come out tonight,” a man behind me said.
I turned around to see Kaiden. He was the new vice president of the Shadow Spirits MC. He was the only one I knew from this local chapter.
“A man has his needs,” I replied, pointing to the bottle. I stood up and clasped arms with him. Kaiden had a shaved head and a thick black beard. He wore the same exact outfit as all of us except he had that coveted patch on his cut.
“Are you ready for tomorrow?”
The Shadow Spirits needed some dirt on the rival club. They didn't want to do the traditional type of revenge. That always led to more and more bloodshed. It never ended.
They wanted to put away the top members in jail and get rid of the competition for good. Whatever happens in prison after that is all cake.
“Of course I'm ready. I got the address right here. I patted my front pocket in my jeans. I'll be in and out in minutes. They won't even know that anybody had been there.”
“You call me the second you're out,” Kaiden said.
I clenched my fists. “I won't let you down.”
“Good luck.”
Chapter Three
Riley
I watched the man at my table from far away. He was talking to another biker that looked like it was important. His burger was ready but I knew better than interrupt when two from a MC were conducting business.
I had sworn off dating bikers after my last boyfriend, Conan.
Conan was all romantic at the beginning and I think I truly loved him at one point. But nothing ever stays as sweet.
Conan was caught up in some side stuff separate from his club. He was stressed out all the time. Paranoid that everyone was out to get him.
He mostly took it out on me with his fists. At the time I didn't mind being his punching bag. I knew he loved me and I thought we were going to be together forever.
One day he rushed home with blood all over him. He asked me to hide a gun and he was gone. I figured he went out of town for a few days to wait for the heat to die down.
But Conan never came back home. That was two years ago.
At first, I thought the worst had happened. He had been killed and his body was sitting in a ditch somewhere. Then I found a receipt for a plane ticket on his laptop. Conan was living it up in Mexico and he never even asked me to come with him.
That was the end to my dating a string of losers. I wasn't going to let myself get used by these bad boys anymore. I would wait until I could save enough money and get out of this hell hole. I'd find a nice guy who had a legitimate job and could take care of me.
The two bikers had finished talking and I grabbed the burger and brought it over to the table. “This is a spicy pineapple salsa burger. I hope you enjoy.”
The man rubbed his dark stubble. “You're still not going to join me?”
This man was relentless. I looked around to make sure my boss wasn't watching me. Gary would kill me if he saw me wasting too much time with a customer. “I'm sorry but I can't. It's a really busy night.”
“One quick drink won't hurt. I'm sure your boss won't mind if he knew who you were drinking with.”
“And who is that?” I asked, my hand on my hip.
“My name's Ivan. I'm with the Shadow Spirits.”
“I could tell from the ghost with a scythe on the back of your cut. But I've never heard of you before.”
“One drink,” I said, putting up my finger. “I won't take no for an answer.”
I don't know what it was but I found myself sitting down across from him. His tone was demanding but there was more in his voice. A tinge of humanity that was usually absent from most of the bikers that frequented the bar.
Ivan poured a shot and slid it over to me. “There you go.”
“What about you?” I asked, my fingers tracing over the rim of the shot glass.
Ivan lifted the bottle. “I'll be fine without a glass.”
“What should we cheers to?” I asked, lifting my glass to his.
“To new friends,” Ivan replied with a grin.
My panties were melting in my black pants. I couldn't control my breathing around him. My pulse was pounding in my ears. I was willing to do whatever this man told me to and I'd only met him moments ago.
We clinked glasses and I downed the shot. I started coughing immediately, searching for something to chase it down. I cursed to myself that I didn't bring him over a glass of water. That was standard.
You would think that I would be able to handle my liquor after working at a dive bar for so long. But I rarely ever drank. A beer here or there was about all I was into. I'd seen what it did to my mom and I never wanted to get to that point.
“Another?” Ivan asked, pouring another shot of whiskey.
“You said one drink,” I replied, standing up, my palms on the table. “I did the one drink and now I have to get back to work.”
“How long have you been working here?” he asked.
“You seriously think you're going to keep me here with those boring type of questions.” I started to walk away.
Ivan laughed. “What are you going to do when you get out of this place? Go be an actress in Hollywood? Or find some big shot to take care of you?”
I stopped frozen. It was like he had read my mind. How did he know that I was thinking about that?
I took a breath and realized that he only guessed right because it was such a cliché. But I returned to my chair. He had captured my attention now. “It's not what you think,” I said. “I'm going to go far away and start a new life for myself.”
His eyes glanced over my cleavage. I was used to men checking me out because it always produced bigger tips. But this time with Ivan's eyes, it made me blush. I wanted him to stare at me all night.
This man definitely wasn't the usual biker.
Chapter Four
Ivan
I could tell that Riley wasn't used to drinking. She could barely handle one shot of whiskey without a chaser.
It took some convincing to get her to take a second shot but I won in the end. I just wanted her to loosen up a little bit. She was so paranoid that her boss was going to fire her for talking to me. She apparently didn't know that nobody would mess with a member of the Shadow Spirits MC.
The Shadow Spirits weren't like any of these minor clubs that frequented this bar. My MC owned most of the territory in California and the other MCs worked along with the Shadow Spirits. There were only a select few that were against the Shadow Spirits.
Riley and I talked for what seemed like hours. She opened her heart about growing up in a trailer park with a mom who was a drunk.
I told her about growing up without parents
. I told her the story about how I first joined the Shadow Spirits and how they raised me.
I felt more than a connection with this woman. This wasn't the usual encounter I had with a chick at a bar.
I reached out and touched her hand with mine. A spark shot straight through me. I could see she experienced the same thing. That definitely wasn't normal. “Is there somewhere we go?” I asked. “Somewhere a little quieter?”
She stared into my eyes and could feel the desire oozing off me. She wanted me just as much as I wanted her. “There's a back stock room that nobody ever goes into,” she replied.
Riley got up first and led me through the crowd of drunks. She held my hand tight as she brought me into the kitchen and through another door.
The stockroom was more like a broom closet. There were shelves filled with bottles of liquors and peanuts. It was just big enough to allow me to do what I needed to do to her.
“And look at this.” Riley turned the lock on the door. “Nobody will be able to interrupt us.”
I took a step forward and Riley backed up against one of the shelves. “So you take strangers into this room all the time?” My lips were inches away from hers.
Her breathing was shallow. “I've thought about it before but I've never done it before.”
I kissed her hard, pressing my mouth to hers. I gripped her hips and pulled her closer. My wet tongue slid against hers, tasting the sweet whiskey on her.
My hands reached under her skirt and found her bare ass cheeks. I ran my rough hands over them and squeezed until Riley moaned into my mouth.
“Take me, Ivan,” she begged in between kisses.
I moved down to the crook of her neck and bit down, sucking on Riley. Her fingers ran through my hair. The hammering in my pants needed to be addressed.
Riley grabbed my erection over my jeans and stroked me. An explosion of pleasure thundered through me. I pulled away from her and unbuckled my jeans slowly, her eyes staring right at my crotch. I let them fall to the ground.
Her eyes went big. I could tell she needed me inside her. If she bit any harder on her bottom lip, she might go clean through.
“Turn around,” I ordered her. “Lift up that skirt for me.”
Riley faced away from me and lifted up her black skirt. A black thong perfectly framed her apple-bottom ass. It was beyond perfect. So big and curvy. My cock could get lost in something that big.
Riley gathered her red hair and let it flow behind her back. I wanted to see her completely naked, kiss her all down her spine. But there was no time. The hot coals in my pants needed to be extinguished.
Riley put her hands above her head and rested them against the shelf. I hooked my fingers in her thong and slowly slid them down her smooth white legs. My fingers grazed against her gushing wetness.
“Are you ready for me?” I asked.
Riley craned her head to the side but she couldn't see directly behind her. She jutted out her ass and pressed it against my cock. “Please, Ivan. I can't wait any longer. Fuck me now. Fuck me hard until I come.”
I loved when they begged for it. I pressed my shaft between her juicy cheeks until my tip was knocking at her door. It wouldn't take much for me to find my release. Riley was so sexy that I almost creamed my pants.
I pushed my cock into her eager pussy, sliding it in deep. Riley screamed at the top of her lungs as I drilled into her. I pulled out just as quickly as I plunged into her.
Riley couldn't handle the teasing. She kept saying no over and over again. I rocketed back into her, slamming against her bouncy ass. My cock was fully enveloped in her. I rocked my hips back and forth, thrusting in and out.
Riley lost her grip as I fucked her harder and harder. Her hands slipped and knocked over a couple of bottles of alcohol. I didn't care that there was shattered glass all over the floor. Nothing would stop me from taking what was mine.
“I'm close, Ivan,” she moaned.
I bent over and kissed her as she detonated around me. Her entire body quaked as I found my climax, unloading inside her. I'd never felt such pleasure before.
Riley was unlike any other woman I'd ever been with.
One time wouldn't be enough. I was far from done with her.
Chapter Five
Riley
I woke up in a daze. The bed I slept in wasn't mine. I lifted my head and realized that I was in a motel room. I turned over to find Ivan sound asleep next to me.
And naked too.
My head was pounding and my eyes sensitive to the bright light. I was such a lightweight. Only two drinks and I got a hangover.
I tried to run through the events from last night. I met Ivan at the bar and we had crazy sex in the storeroom. But we didn't stop there.
Ivan got us a motel room and we fucked until dawn. I couldn't even remember the amount of times I orgasmed. Ivan was very experienced in pleasuring women. He was the kind of man that I wanted to avoid but I couldn't help myself around muscles and tattoos.
I checked my phone on the nightstand and realized that I was going to be late to open the bar. Gary liked to alternate my shifts so if I closed one night I would have to be in early the next morning to open.
I didn't have time to go home and change. I'd have to wear the clothes from the night before. At least I could take a shower first and wash off this sex.
I slipped out of bed, not wanting to wake up Ivan. It was already embarrassing enough that I went home with a stranger. I didn't want to face him this morning.
I made it to the bathroom with my purse and clothes. I started the shower and jumped in. There was no time to wash my hair. I'd have to get this over with quick.
The motel had a little bottle of shampoo and that was it. No body wash or bar of soap. Shampoo would work for now.
The door to the bathroom opened and I realized that I hadn't locked it. I didn't even think about it.
I could see Ivan's figure through the frosted glass. I held my breath like I thought that maybe he wouldn't notice me in here.
The shower door opened. Ivan stood before me in all his glory. His long length swinging between his legs. “Good morning,” he said.
I covered my breasts with my arm and put my other hand out to stop him. “I don't have time for this, Ivan. I have to get to work.”
His smile stretched ear to ear. “You always have time for me, baby.” His eyes told me everything I needed to know. “I'll make this real quick.”
It was hard to ignore the fluttering butterflies in my stomach. Ivan looked good enough to eat. Those abs and arms were so ripped. He could easily push me against the shower door and fuck me from behind.
I wasn't going to let him control me. One night didn't make me his girl. I put my hand on his hard chest and pushed him away. “Get out right now,” I said sternly. “I'm not joking. I can't be late for this shift.”
Ivan backed out of the shower. “Your loss, Riley.”
I watched his toned ass walk away and sighed. I couldn't believe I was able to turn him down. It took all the willpower in the world. I really wanted to have one last time with him but real life was calling.
I finished washing my body and turned the shower off. I quickly did my makeup in the bathroom and got dressed. Ivan might try again when I tried to leave for work. I didn't know if I would be able to resist him again.
I peeked my head out the door and the bedroom was empty. Ivan must've already left. I was a little sad that I wouldn't be able to say goodbye to him. I had such a nice night with him and wasn't opposed to going out with him again.
But I knew there wasn't a future for us. I wanted to escape this place. Ivan was caught up in a world that I wanted nothing to do with.
I looked for my phone in the bathroom and it wasn't there anymore. I looked in the bedroom and found it on the edge of the bed. I definitely didn't put it there.
I turned it on and saw that Ivan had put his phone number in my contacts list. It made me smile. Even if I probably wasn't going to call him again, at leas
t I had his number.
The sun burned when I left the motel room. I took my car keys out of my purse and couldn't find my car. Then I realized that Ivan had taken me here on his motorcycle.
I remembered now as we rode through the night. The air was chilly and Ivan gave me a leather jacket to wear. I'd been on bikes before but it was different with Ivan.
