Kairo was sitting down in front of her vanity brushing her hair into a wrap, watching Delano walk into the room. She was still borderline pissed at him for ditching her on his birthday. He closed the door behind him and decided to tell Kairo what happened that night.
“We need to talk,” Delano said as he approached her, taking the brush out her hand.
“About?” Kairo said with an attitude. She was irritated that he took the brush out of her hands.
“You want to know why I had to leave early tonight.”
“Why?” Kairo said, smacking her lips. “I mean, why would I want to know? It’s not like you gave a damn before.”
“Well, for starters, let me apologize because I should have told you about Johnny finding out about Cali’s death.”
“What!! How?” This gained her full attention, and Kairo turned around.
“Well I killed the man before he could talk,” Delano said.
“Who? You killed who?”
“Some weak ass nigga who tried to talk,” Delano admitted.
“Well, thanks for telling me.”
“There is something else I want to tell you, but you have to promise not to ever tell anyone.”
“Who the fuck I’m gone tell Delano?” Kairo smacked her lips and walked over to the closet.
“Kairo!”
“Alright, alright, damn.” She slipped into her sexy purple negligee.
“Never mind,” Delano said, changing his mind about telling her about his secret. He wasn’t sure how she was going to react to him finding out that Johnny Sr. was his biological father. The news still didn’t settle right with him. He still thought the DNA test was fabricated, so he decided not to say anything.
“What’s the matter baby?” she asked, getting into bed with him.
“Nothing baby, did you find out what’s going to happen to your condo?” Delano asked to change the subject.
“Well what are you going to do about my condo?” Kairo asked, although they were now married and back together living under one roof. Delano still was responsible for all the damages that he caused.
“I’ll give you 20 grand tomorrow. Let’s just relax and enjoy the rest of my birthday.”
Delano leaned over to kiss Kairo’s shoulders, pulling up her purple negligee. He inserted two fingers and fingered her pussy to a satisfying orgasm. She gripped the sheets, moaning, and pulled on her own nipples. His fingers increased in speed as she started to slow grind on his two fingers like it was his hard penis inside her. Delano gently pulled her hair as he put in his rock-hard penis from the side. Her moans turned him on and encouraged him to thrust deeper inside her warm cave.
Boom! Boom!
<
br /> “What the fuck is that noise?” Delano said while he was mid-stroke inside Kairo. She grabbed the covers and looked at him. “Man, I’ll be right back.” Delano slipped his boxers on and wrapped a towel around his waist, picking up his heat off the nightstand. In the distance he could hear glass being shattered, sounding like his car windows were being busted. He ran down the stairs and ran to the garage where he saw both of his cars were set on fire. He simply forgot to close the garage behind him. “What the fuck!” Delano yelled, grabbing the fire extinguisher, putting the fire out. Kairo came rushing down the stairs to see what all the commotion was.
Ding Dong!
The doorbell rang, causing Delano to freeze in his steps. Who the fuck could be knocking on my door at 1 am? he thought, leaving to go check the door. Malachi finally woke up from inhaling the smoke that filled his room and came rushing down the stairs as well. The smoke detectors sounded in the whole house, once the smoke filled the entire garage. Malachi grabbed the other fire extinguisher and helped put out the fires.
“Dad, what is going on?” Malachi asked.
Ding Dong!
“Nothing, stay right there.”
Delano clicked his gun, while slowly walking up to the door. He touched the doorknob, twisted, and it opened. He was face to face with a silencer.
“Hello, Delano.”
“Broke boy gon’ run, if he ain’t getting no money.”

Conflicted
I remembered you was conflicted, misusing your influence, sometimes I did the same. Abusing my power full of resentment, Resentment that turned into a deep depression, found myself screamin' in the hotel room. I didn't want to self-destruct; the evils of Lucy was all around me
So, I went runnin' for answers-

Christmas Day
Booooom, booom, boom, boom!!! The sound of thunder cracking was loud, and lightning flashed across the dark sky. There was a storm coming, but no rain seemed to fall. It was just a storm within the Harris’s own household. The stale air brushed past as the wind began to pick up speed.
“Hello Delano,” Michael said, holding the gun straight in his face. “I told you we will meet again.” Michael had been waiting on this moment since the day they met. He convinced himself if he killed Delano in front of Kairo, then she would have no choice but to have the baby and be with him, but that was the drugs talking. Michael had a lot of issues going on since he lost his medical license due to altering people’s medical tests and stealing medicine and using them as drugs. Drugs became the inevitable escape for his misery. He was a natural born junkie on some high shit. Before he reached Delano’s residence, Michael sat in the tub at home playing Russian Roulette. He went on a whole ass power trip before he got the idea of going to kill Delano.
Michael stood in the doorway, dressed in a black North Face hoody, a pair of black 501 Levi jeans and some busted ass black and white New Balance tennis shoes. It was very apparent that this man was on drugs. He kept twitching like a damn crackhead, rubbing his nose, sniffing and shit while holding the gun in his shaky hands. He swallowed so hard, you could have mistaken it for a quarter traveling down his throat. He was nervous and gripped the gun tightly, scared as hell to pull the trigger. He was one nervous wreck. He never intentionally killed someone with a gun before, just misdiagnosing medications and prescribing them to his patients. Michael felt he could get away with murder, because his mother was a bigtime lawyer in New York. So, he figured he could have gotten a deal for less of a sentence, but shit never worked that way. Once again, it was the drugs that had him thinking this way. He would still have to do the time because he committed the crime. Regardless of who his mother was, she ain’t hold no weight in the streets. Especially in Detroit.
What the fuck? This man must have a death wish. How the fuck does he know where I live? Delano thought to himself, inhaling the strong gasoline that was reeking off Michael’s clothes. Kairo was so distracted trying to cover up the pregnancy that she didn’t know Michael had been following her since the day she took the pregnancy test in Michael’s apartment.
She crept down the stairs to see who could possibly be knocking at the door at some damn one in the morning. She finally reached the bottom of the stairs and walked over, standing aside Delano behind the wall. He held his hand out to stop her from coming any closer to the door. Then he mouthed to her with no words escaping from his lips, “don’t move.” He turned back, focusing his attention towards Michael. “Man, if you gone fucking shoot, shoot!” Delano said in a deep, stern voice as he challenged Michael by stepping up and letting the tip of the gun touch his chest.
He wanted to test him because he knew Michael was fucked up, a straight coke head for a whiteboy. Michael was indeed out here on some crackhead shit. Delano dealt with feens on a daily, he distributed cocaine all his life so, he knew one when he saw one. This nigga pathetic, I should cap his ass right now, Delano thought to himself as he watched Michael twist his lips to speak.
“Where—where is–is Kairo?” he asked stuttering, still keeping the gun pointed in Delano’s chest.
“What the fuck you mean where is Kai—”
“Michael, please go home, you’re not in your right mindset right now,” Kairo said, rushing to the door and cutting Delano clean off his sentence.
“Who the fuck is you to tell me, I’m not in my right mind, hmm?” Michael snapped, but the gun stayed on Delano’s beating heart.
“What the fuck y’all got going on Kairo?” Delano angrily asked. He paused, looking at her, because she done lost her rabbit ass mind. He stared at her and waited for her to answer. He could have sworn he thought he told her to stay where the fuck she was at. In so little words, he told her don’t move. His head clouded immediately with doubts. Something wasn’t adding up to him here. How the fuck did Michael end up with their address in the first place?
“Oh, she didn’t tell you, ha?” Michael busted out laughing. This was obviously a fucking joke to him. He knew Kairo was gon’ have no choice but to be with him now.
“Tell me what?” Delano questioned. What the fuck she got to hide? he thought to himself as he was looking back and forth between the two. Shit was really coming to the light; all these secrets were now hitting the fan.
“Come on baby, let’s go back inside,” Kairo said, trying to close the door, but Delano wanted to hear more of what Michael was talking about. She tried everything in her power to get Delano to close the door, but he ignored her.
“Shh, hold on Kairo. Let the man speak his piece,” Delano said, hushing her and tilting his head towards Michael so he could hear what he had to say.
“That baby she is carrying is mine nigga!” Michael snared, pointing the gun back and forth with every word that came from his mouth. This didn’t sit too well with Delano and this assumption made his blood boil. His temper was rising. Michael must have forgotten he wasn’t in his neck of the woods. Delano didn’t waste any time before he punched him directly in the nose, cracking it.
CRACKK! was the sound of his nose being broken. Blood instantly leaked from his red nose. This pissed Michael off and he swung back on Delano, but he ducked, completely missing him. He ducked just in time and they began to fight outside. Blood was now dripping onto the snow, and lots of it came from them both. Kairo just stood there with Malachi watching as they both tussled back and forth like kids in the snow.
“See what you caused?” Malachi said to Kairo, shaking his head before joining his father to jump on Michael. Once Michael realized it was two of them punching him in the rib cage and knocking him on his ass, he decided to fall back.
“Ok, ok, I don’t want no smoke!” Michael said, surrendering with both of his hands in the air. His face was now covered with his own blood. He wiped the blood from his broken nose that was now numb from the cold air outside. He was so doped up off the cocaine that pain was not even a factor. He wanted Kairo so bad, that he was willi
ng to do anything—well, just about anything.
“Yea, get the fuck out of here!” Delano snapped, kicking Michael for the last time in his back. He could have broken Michael’s neck or maybe shot a bullet in his head for sleeping with his wife. But he wasn’t going to do either. He simply felt bad for this dope fiend that had a taste of his wife’s good pussy. Michael was absolutely fucking bananas to show up at his doorstep, set both of his cars on fire and not shoot him.
“Ok, ok, I’m going, but just know that, that’s our bitch!” Michael said, panting like a thirsty dog and pointing towards Kairo.
“If you don’t get the fuck off my property, I’m gone shoot you in the fucking mouth,” Delano threatened. “Oh yea, since you want to torch my shit, hand me that key fob to the whip.” He was referring to the candy apple red Camaro Michael drove over there.
“Nigga are you fucking crazy?” Michael asked. He was using that term too loosely, and Delano shot at his feet, missing on purpose. “Whoa motherfucka!”
