(I was fascinated to discover after purchasing this book that it was once owned by Dr. Bernard Spilsbury, and it would appear that certain key forensic passages were underlined by him. Spilsbury was perhaps the most famous forensic pathologist in England’s history. He was called “the incomparable witness” and is believed to have performed more than 25,000 postmortem examinations in his career.)
