  AUTHOR NOTES

FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT: THANK YOU! You, my readers are the reason I'm able to keep publishing this series, and every time I read an email or review from you it makes my day. Also, moving forward with the series this will be more of a collaborative process, as I've polled you via my newsletter to see where you'd like to see the series go. While I'll do the heavy lifting when it comes to the creative process, I want to please you my readers, and the polls are the best way for me to know where to go next.

Sorcerer's Trail, was the hardest book to write yet, but also the most rewarding. I'm truly proud of this book, and how far I've come as an author. I'll admit I felt a bit like a hack, when I published Orphan's Price, but that feeling is gone now. I'm not sure if I, faked it till I made it, but I know the act of publishing created a positive feedback loop and now I'm confident in the quality of books I'm publishing. Again this is because of you my reader, and the warm feedback you've given me.

Being a self-published author is a dream come true, but it's way more work than I ever imagined. I expected to put in 50 hour weeks. What I didn't plan on was for my wonderful girlfriend to also put in 40-50 hour weeks alongside me. Want to make or break a relationship? Build a business together. I'm so grateful our relationship falls into the former.

Together we've managed to divide our responsibilities and are building a full blown publishing company. We're both learning to wear multiple hats, and together we're trying to build every aspect of publishing in house. But even so, it still takes a team of support. We rely heavily on outside artist, and editors to make our dream a reality, but we're also learning as fast as possible. My girlfriend is busy every day learning how to use Photoshop and the Adobe suite. I'd say she's learning quickly and becoming awesome at the same time. Have you seen my covers? That's her at work!

Even with all this work on our plates, we make time for our family. We eat dinner together every night, with me cooking while she does the dishes. And together, her, our daughter, and I all enjoy a wonderful meal and reflect upon the fact we get to live this amazing life. I'm convinced that creation is the root of happiness. The deep soul fueling happiness that can only come from the pride of completing something that will outlive you. It's akin to the pride of rearing a child.

  ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

MY WONDERFUL GIRLFRIEND, your constant support and belief in my abilities when I doubt myself, keeps me going. Our wonderful relationship keeps me grounded. Our home—full of love and jokes—keeps me centered and mentally stable. In short, you're my second half—like the Ancient Greek story.

You, my reader. Your support enables me to continue crafting this wonderful story. I hope you enjoy Chronicles of the Seventh Realm as much as I love writing it. Your reviews, emails, and other feedback means the world to me. Not in a thousand years, would I have expected such positive feedback, and I'm eternally grateful to you. With the myriad of book options there are to read these days, I'm honored you've chosen to spend your reading time on mine. I wish I could thank each and every one of you in person, but please know I mean it when I say, you're why I write.

Nicholi (N A K Baldron) is an author and an avid reader. Stories that take place in fictional worlds, with memorable characters, make his heart race like nothing else.

He spends his days debating between whether it's coffee or tea time and pecking away at his keyboard to produce stories for his readers. Otherwise, he can be found strolling through one of the many wooded areas in the small town outside Austin, Texas that he calls home.

Knowing how precious reading time is, he's always honored when his readers spend their time on his stories when there are so many to choose from.
