A Wet Operation.
If A2 is true, then B2 is true, then A2 is false, therefore A2 is false. If B2 is true, then A and B have not made same number of true statements, therefore B2 false, therefore not everything A said is false, therefore A and B must have made at least one true statement. If A3 is true, then C2 is true, then B1 is false and B3 is false and A and B have not made the same number of true statements, therefore A3 is false, therefore A1 is true. A must have made at least one true statement, therefore C1 is false. If B3 is true, then C2 is false, then B1 is true, but this is impossible as A and B must make the same number of true statements, therefore B3 is false, therefore B1 is true and C2 is false, therefore C3 is true since B3 is false. But since A1 and B1 are both true, Alan and Brian must be innocent, therefore Charlie killed Peter, and his third remark is thus ambiguous. Marvo figures this out because Charlie also claims to be the religious one. He said he goes to church every Sunday as if that is his alibi for every day of the week. BACK
