Chance Encounter Page 16

Evan slid the ring on Chance’s finger. “Charles, I give you this ring as a symbol of the love I have for you. Wear it now as a sign of the love we share together. The sign of love that we will always share. Our bond of trust and commitment.”

Chance slid the ring on Evan’s finger. “Evan, I give you this ring as a symbol of the love I have for you. Wear it now as a sign of the love we share together. The sign of love that we will always share. Our bond of trust and commitment.”

Fred nodded to both men and continued. “Being one unbroken circle, your rings symbolize unending love. May your rings be a constant reminder of this moment when you have pledged your unending love to one another. Your family and friends, and pretty much the entire town of Round River have heard your vows and your promise of faithful love. May joy be with you from this day forward. Charles, Evan, I, Frederick Gerald Washington, Barrington County District Judge, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the state of New York, declare you to be wed, according to the ordinance of the law. Congratulations. You two are married. You may kiss your husbands.”

Chance and Evan softly kissed each other’s lips as the crowd of officers, family, and residents of the town rose to their feet and clapped.

The music of White Snake’s If this is love played as the couple walked down the aisle. They stopped at the end of the aisle and waited for Hank and Elaine to follow, to form a receiving line.

“I take it you picked the music?” Evan smiled.

“Yes, now, it’s not a head banging song, but I thought it could set the mood.”

“The mood?” Evan raised an eyebrow.

“You are my husband,” Chance put his arm around him and kissed his cheek. “And I’m yours. And later, we’ll be dancing. I gave Emma a big list of songs for the DJ so you and I can dance slow or fast.”

“I don’t head bang,” Evan laughed.

“Well, you’ll learn, Boss. I’ll even teach you how to play air guitar.”

“Can’t wait,” Evan said. “Oh, here they come. Remember, smile and shake everyone’s hands and if they want to hug you, let them.”

  “You’ve done this before?”

“No, but I’m the mayor. I had to take a course in handshaking and kissing babies.”

  “Seriously?”

  “Yup,” Evan said.

“I didn’t realize I was in a receiving line with a pro,” he smiled.

“You are, Baby,” he grinned, as the attendants slowly made their way to the line. “I’m a pro at many things.”

“Oh, Boss, you certainly are,” Chance kissed his husband.

  “Behave,” Evan smiled.

  “Seriously?” Chance smiled.

  “Never, Baby,” he said.

Evan and Chance sat down at the wedding party table that was set up on the other side of the park. There were several canopy tents and long tables covered in white tablecloths spread out around the park, as well as a large platform for dancing and the outlook had been transformed into the station for the DJ.

Chance took Evan’s cheek in his hand. “Um, I don’t know if you noticed but your, um, the General is still here.”

“I’m trying to not notice.” Evan said. “I don’t know why he’s here. I thought it was to cause trouble, but he didn’t stop us or try to.”

“Nope, and I had my officers on alert,” he said. “I don’t want anyone to screw this up.”

Jane and Janet walked over to the table. Jane walked around the table and kissed Chance’s cheek and then Evan’s. “Now, you two take care of each other. Charlie, you look so handsome, both of you do,” she smiled. “I love you, both.”

“I love you, Mom,” Chance stood up and hugged her tightly. “You are amazing.”

“Of course I am,” Jane smiled

Evan stood up and hugged her. “Thanks, Jane.”

Jane nodded and took Janet’s hand. “We’re going to eat now. We’re starved, now, remember what I said about babies.”

  “Oh, mother,” Chance laughed.

“You never know and I’d like to have grandchildren before I meet St. Peter in person.” Jane waved and led Janet over to the buffet table.

Janet shrugged and waved as Jane dragged her to the table.

Evan smiled at Chance. “Your mother is something else.”

“Don’t I know it. You know, I love my brother and we’ll see if he changes, but I hope Janet doesn’t take him back.”

  “He’ll hurt her?”

“He already did,” Chance said. They looked up as Dominick approached holding a man’s hand.

Chance and Evan stood up. “Ed,” Chance extended his hand. “I’m glad you could make it. How was Hawaii?”

“Beautiful,” Ed said, shaking his hand. “But I missed Dominick and I wouldn’t miss your wedding for anything.”

Chance looked at Evan. “This is Ed and this is my husband, Evan.”

The two men shook hands. “Nice to finally meet you,” Evan said. “I heard a lot about you.”

“You, too. The one man who could capture this guy’s heart. You’re a lucky man.”

“Yes, we’re both lucky,” Evan smiled and then focused on his brother. “Dom, you OK?”

“Yeah,” he said. “I saw that dad was here.”

  “Not sure why,” Evan said.

  “Do you care?” Dominick asked.

“I thought I did, but, no, I don’t,” Evan smiled. “Have a good time and thanks for coming.”

Ed led Dominick to a table where Chad was sitting alone.

Evan scanned the park and then focused on Chance. “I don’t want him to try to screw this up.”

Chance smiled. “Boss, he can’t screw us up. We’re married. You’re mine and I’m yours,” he pressed his mouth against Evan’s. “I fucking love you. More than anything.”

“I fucking love you,” he kissed his cheek.

“Disgusting,” Manetti said, from behind them.

Chance and Evan turned around. “You’re not welcome here,” Chance said.

“It’s a fucking public park,” he crossed his arms.

“Actually,” Chance smirked. “It’s not a public park. It’s a park and I let the public use it, but it’s my land.”

  “What?” Manetti grunted.

Chance pointed to the metal sign by the edge of the park that simply stated Endicott Park, donated to the town of Round River for the use of its residents. “Learn to fucking read. Now leave.”

“You two can’t be serious. I bet it’s not even legal.”

“We’re in New York, you ass, it’s fucking legal,” Chance sighed. “Just go.”

The crowd behind them stopped talking, dancing, and eating. All eyes focused on the trio as officers slowly made their way to the wedding party table.

Chance held his hand out, without turning around, giving his officers the order to stand down. He looked at the General. “You aren’t welcome here. You brought nothing but pain to your family. Nothing but shame. If you ask me, you protest too fucking much. I know all about you. You’re ashamed of your own wants and needs that you take your anger and self-loathing out on your sons. All three of them.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Manetti spat.

Evan watched as Chance took control, and he was happy for it. It was exciting to see how Chance felt so comfortable in being in command. He was too tired of fighting with his family… his father over his sexuality and just plain life choices. He didn’t want to get sucked back into the pain and suffering of being General Zachary Manetti’s son.

“It means that you’re the one who also loves to suck cock,” Chance said as Evan’s eyes widened.

“What are you saying?” Evan answered. “Chance, what’s going on?”

“Boss, there is something you don’t know about your father.”

“Don’t you dare say it! It’s a fucking lie,” Manetti yelled.

“What’s a lie?” Evan asked. “He hasn’t even said anything yet.”

  Chance turned tow
ard his officers as they held on to their holsters. “Rollins,” he pointed to one of his men.

“Yes, sir,” he stepped forward, still holding on to his gun in his holster.

“The other day, you made an arrest of a male street hustler in a local motel, right?”

“Yes, sir, you have the report.”

“Yes, I got it. What was the name of the hustler?”

  “Skeeter Craig, sir.”

“What was the name of the john that was giving him the blow job?”

“He said his name was Zachary Mansfield.”

“Was he telling the truth?” Chance asked.

“No, sir. The name was fake,” he said. “It was this man. He paid the Craig to screw him in the ass after he performed oral sex on Craig. He paid extra to perform oral sex.”

“How was he dressed? I mean, Manetti. How was Manetti dressed?”

“Women’s lingerie,” Rollins said. “Black teddy and black fishnet stockings, and black lace thong and garter belt.”

“Thank you, officer,” Chance focused back on Manetti. “I don’t think we are disgusting. The only reason I didn’t allow my officer to arrest you is because I didn’t want to hurt my husband.”

Evan shook his head. “You should’ve allowed it,” Evan said. “I was wondering why he was in town.” He focused on his father. “You wanted to see if I knew about that incident.”

  “He’s lying,” Manetti said.

“I don’t care what you do or who you do it with, but when it’s in my town and you’re breaking the law, I care,” Chance said. “I may not be on official duty until next week, but my men still report to me.”

“Can’t if you’re fucking dead,” Manetti yelled. “I’ll get you both for this.”

“I don’t think so,” Chance sighed and then nodded to the two officers who made their way behind Manetti. “Cuff him and get him out of here. Make sure you read him his rights and put him in holding until Monday morning. Court is closed for the weekend.”

“Yes, sir,” they said in unison.

Chance held Evan’s hand as they watched the officers lead Manetti down the street. They turned to their guests. “Show’s over, music please.” He took Evan’s hand and kissed his knuckles. “It’s over now.”

  “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I don’t want you hurt by that man. He’s not your father. A father is a man who takes care off his children, not drive them away because he’s ashamed of himself. I had a father and I lost him before I reached the age of seven. I can only hope that one day, I’ll be a good father.”

“You’re not pregnant, are you?” Evan laughed.

  “No, you?” he smiled.

  “You want kids?”

“Someday,” Chance said. “Let’s dance, Boss.”

“Yes, Baby. Lead the way,” Evan followed Chance to the dance floor.

The crowd moved away from the floor and made a path for the couple to walk through that led directly to the dance floor.

Chance nodded to the DJ and smiled. He looked into Evan’s eyes. “I remember your favorite song,” he smiled.

“You do?” Evan asked. “Well, of course you do.”

“I don’t think that Back in Black is appropriate to dance to, at least not now, so I chose your favorite love song.”

“Now, how do you know my favorite love song?”

“You sing it in the shower after we …” he looked around at the crowd who formed a circle around the dance floor, and then lowered his voice. “After we make love.” He raised his voice toward the DJ. “Now.”

The DJ nodded as the song Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers started to play.

Evan pulled Chance close to him and wrapped his arms around his body. Slowly the couple started to dance, gently swaying their bodies together as if they were one. Evan softly sang along to the song in Chance’s ear. “Oh, my love, my darling, I hunger for your touch…”

Chance opened the door to the hotel room. “So, what do you think?”

“It’s beautiful,” he said. “I can’t believe you didn’t tell me that we were going to the city. You were always complaining about the city.”

“No, I said my mother didn’t need to go because she knew what it looked like. I worry about her on those road trips with a bunch of elderly men. Now, me, I like coming to the city now and then. Manhattan is beautiful. I know you lived here, but you worked too hard. You should just enjoy the city. I wanted everything to be perfect for you.”

“It is. Everything is perfect,” Evan said. “Maybe I should be calling you boss. You have all this stuff planned.”

“No,” he closed the door behind him and led him into the large suite. “I did put a little money aside so we could have a great honeymoon. I wish it could be longer, but we have each other for the rest of our lives and we don’t need some fancy environment to be with each other.”

Evan walked over to the sliding glass doors. “Balcony?”

“Yeah, it overlooks the city,” Chance smiled. “Why don’t we change and get comfortable?”

“Sounds good,” Evan said, as they opened their suitcase and changed into shorts and tee shirts. “Shorts? You think we should wear shorts?”

“It may be cold outside but it’ll be hot in here all night,” Chance smiled. “And it’s not like we’ll be wearing much of anything later and for some reason, if you get chilled, you have me to warm you up.”

“Sounds good to me,” Evan kissed his mouth.

“Dinner will be here any minute. I ordered food and wine,” he took Evan’s hand. “Do your tattoos hurt?”

  “Nope, do yours?” he smiled.

“Not a one,” he touched Evan’s face as there was a knock on the door. “Room service,” he walked over to the door and opened it. “Over there is fine,” he smiled as the waiter rolled the dinner cart near the table.

“If there is anything else you need, just contact the front desk,” the waiter said.

“Thank you,” He set money in his hands as the waiter left the room. He placed the do not disturb sign on the outside doorknob and closed the door. He walked over to the table. “Join me, Boss.”

Evan sat down at the table. “I’m sorry.”

“For what?” Chance set the plates in front of them and then poured them both a glass of the red wine.

  “The General,” he sighed.

  “Nope, can’t do that.”

  “What?”

“No apologies for other people,” Chance smiled. “And when we are here, on our honeymoon, we will not be discussing …” he pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket.

“You made a list?” Evan laughed.

“Yes,” Chance smiled. “We will not discuss your family. We will not discuss my family. No politics. No sports. No work.”

  “What’s left?” Evan snickered.

Chance put the list on the table and licked his bottom lip lightly. “You, me, music, literature, sex, love, and the view.”

“Sex?” Evan asked. “What about food?”

“Yeah, that’ll be fine. That and drinks,” he smiled. “Now,” he held up his glass of wine as Evan held up his. “To us.” They clicked glasses.

“Yeah, you better eat,” Evan said.

  “Really, Boss?”

“You’ll need your strength, Baby, because we are going to do more than talk about sex.”

  “Yes, Boss,” Chance smiled.

Evan stared into his husband’s eyes as he pulled his shirt over his head. “You sure that tat doesn’t hurt?”

“I’m sure. Not even the one on the scar. I love it.” Chance pulled Evan’s shirt over his head. “And yours?”

“No, doesn’t hurt,” he lightly pushed Chance on the bed and in one swoop, pulled his shorts down his legs. “Glad we changed out of those damn monkey suits.”

Chance reached up and pulled down Evan’s shorts with one swoop. Evan stepped out of his shorts. “See, I was right about the shorts. No button-fly.” />
Evan lay on his husband’s body and gazed into his eyes. “Can you feel it, Baby?”

“Oh, god, yes,” Chance pulled his head close to him.

Evan rolled on the bed. “I need you so bad, my love,” Evan said. “Roll over, husband.” Chance rolled over on his stomach. Evan ran his tongue up Chance’s crack. His tongue lightly circled Chance’s asshole.

“Oh, my god,” Chance cried, as his erection grew.

  “You like, husband?” Evan smiled.

  “Oh, you know I do.”

Evan placed his tongue back in Chance’s asshole. His tongue circled his opening as he placed two fingers inside. “You feel so good,” he growled. “God, I can’t get enough of you. I love this tight ass of yours.”

Chance slowly rolled over and faced his husband. He pressed his mouth against Evan’s mouth and pulled him close. “I wanna be inside you,” he said. “It’s been a while.”

“And I wanna be inside you,” Evan said.

Chance smiled. “Lift your leg, Boss,” he held onto Evan’s thigh as he placed his leg on his shoulder. He grabbed the lubrication and rubbed it on his cock. He inserted himself inside Evan, pushing slowly and deep. “You’re so tight. I feel your soul, Boss.”

Evan gazed into Chance’s eyes as their mouths met in their tantalizing dance. Chance thrust his hips deeper and deeper, harder until he released himself. He rolled over and pulled himself out of Evan’s ass. Evan lubricated himself. Then he placed himself against Chance’s ass and rubbed his cock between his cheeks. Slowly, he entered Chance’s ass.

He rolled his body on top of his husband’s body as he made love to him. He pushed harder and harder until he released himself inside his husband. “Baby, I want to hold you all night.”

Chance covered them up with the blanket and lay in Evan’s arms, placing his hand on his chest. “Well, we will be doing this all night. Making love and holding each other.”

Evan kissed his face. “You are amazing, you know that?”

“Yeah, Boss, you are amazing, too,” he said. “You are also something else.”

Evan looked down into Chance’s eyes. “What’s that?”

  “Hard again,” Chance sat up.

“You’re right,” Evan said. “So are you, Baby.”
