“I wasn’t going to take him because I just showered and I want to relax. But when I look at his happy little face, I can’t let him down. Can I pal?” she said tickling his ears. Reilly grinned mightily up at her and wagged his tail like a propeller.

Stacey glanced down at the happy little dog who despite his past was always smiling. “That and the fact that he’s never alone.”

Jade nodded in agreement. “I think probably most dogs fall into that category. Some have better coping skills is all.” Clipping the lead on him, she walked over to Stacey and kissed her on the lips.

Relieved that whatever had caused her mood to darken temporarily had passed, her kiss made Stacey’s pussy heat up like a volcano getting ready for a big explosion She wanted to explode in Jade’s mouth.

Heading out the door with a whining Reilly, who was anxious to go, they started at a quick pace in the brisk air. Only a dog would think going for a run is fun, she thought wryly as Reilly tugged the lead. The tugging would end soon enough as she planned to run between eight to ten miles. Soon Reilly would be lagging behind at her heels. When they got home she’d give him his Kong filled up with treats and a dab of peanut butter on top for a job well done.

On the way back, she began thinking about Anthony’s arrival tomorrow. Jade was both nervous and excited about it. She, unlike Stacey had no worries about him liking her. Stacey was imminently likeable but she did worry he might try to dig into the real source of their relationship.

He was already suspicious of the story she had concocted for him but hoped he wouldn’t pursue it. If he knew Stacey was an escort he would be livid, and rightly so. If men got no leeway for being with a hooker no matter what the circumstances were neither could she expect any. The implications to her would be tremendous given her stance on women’s issues and pornography.

She had nothing against a beautiful woman using her body to make a living. What she hated was that sexuality and beauty were valued as the ultimate qualities in women. Both qualities transient and limiting. Jade wanted women to see their intrinsic value. She wanted to see women be CEO’s of fortune five hundred companies, become the President or develop new products or ideas. So often this was considered a man’s territory and women weren’t allowed to challenge it.

Still she had done the same thing herself with Stacey – visually loving her young body and then taking it when she couldn’t stand it anymore. But she had fallen in love with Stacey and couldn’t imagine her life without her.

She wondered all the time what she had seen in Stacey on the television. What had drawn her to her so completely? Never before had she gotten involved in looking at a nude woman on the internet. While she admired the female form Jade knew her female form was pretty glorious. That along with her business acumen, she was indeed a force to be reckon with.

But this one young woman had somehow captured her. She had tried to stop looking, had tried to walk away but had always come back. She even thought about leaving her lap top at work and never taking it home again. Then she had starting talking to Stacey online and the desire to meet her, to touch her, to taste her became overwhelming. And so, here she was today, in Kalispell with the now trialing Reilly who no doubt was looking forward to a big drink of water, his Kong and bed. But most of all there was Stacey who tantalized her, excited her, touched her heart and made her feel alive.

I was half-dead, Jade thought as the jogged down the sidewalk toward the house. Now I feel alive and I see the world differently.

While Jade and Reilly had been jogging, Stacey had worked out on the exercise equipment in the basement. Feeling better after her workout she resolved to keep it up.

Part of Jade’s raw attraction for her was her body but that was changing, in the way she touched her, spoke to her and looked at her. Already Jade saw her as her partner and lover. The look in Jade’s eyes as she watched her make supper in the kitchen, the warm feeling of contentment that flowed between them and the feeling of closeness that had nothing to do with sex but with the intrinsic connection they had with each other. It was like they felt and understood each other before a word was even spoken. The strength of the bond was growing each day until one day it would be unbreakable like titanium.

Please let us have the time to develop that kind of strong relationship, Stacey prayed silently.

Jade had told her the story about how she saw her on the shock talk show and was drawn to her. Recalling the show quite well she felt she came off as an avaricious slut willing to do anything – saying nothing different from what a thousand other porn stars would say to get noticed.

Even though she was laughing and flaunting herself on the show, inside she was deeply unhappy, disliking herself and hating all these men for wanting her for one thing and one thing only.

In the beginning she had felt powerful in her sexuality but too many strange men and too many strange requests had stripped her raw on the inside and it would only be a matter of time before it showed on the outside. At twenty-three years old she felt used up. Hard to believe at her age but she did.

And then along came Jade, who she thought was the man named Jayden she had been chatting with online for several weeks. She smiled to herself.

She recalled her shock at realizing it was a woman and then that this woman was THE JADE TANNER OF JADE COSMETICS AND TANNER INDUSTRIES.

What was even more remarkable was despite all of Jade’s wealth and privilege she never once made her feel like she was less of a person, only a stupid whore who should keep her mouth shut like some of the other dates had. She made Stacey feel like she mattered and she loved her for that.

Looking out the window she saw Jade jogging down the street with Reilly lagging behind much lacking in his initial enthusiasm. Turning the coffee pot on as she would probably like a cup before she showered. Who knew? Maybe they could shower together. She shivered pleasurably at that thought.

Opening the door Jade came inside looking fresh faced and windblown with Reilly trailing in behind her.

Looking at Stacey, she smiled. “You worked out to.”

She nodded. “Yah, I don’t want to get too out of shape and have your eyes wandering elsewhere.”

Jade laughed at that. “Well same goes for me to. Remember I’m fifteen years older than you so I’ve got to really make sure I stay on top of things. Did you want to shower first?”

  “No you go ahead.”

“Coffee smells good.” She commented as she walked toward the bathroom.

Stacey sighed. Any thoughts of a quickie with Jade in the shower were gone.

She stopped and looked at her. “Why don’t you join me? It’ll save time and water.”

  Stacey sprinted towards the bathroom.

After spending a very pleasurable forty minutes or so in the shower, they were having coffee and talking about the charity event.

“Have you given any thought to this charity event at all? You know like a theme or something like that.”

Jade looked up at her. “The one thing I do plan to have is a fashion show. Anthony and I have contracted a wonderful new team from Montreal. This will be a great way to showcase their fashion line and make money for the animal shelter.

She paused for a moment. Casually she said, “I’ve actually asked Amber Tate to come as well.”

Stacey could barely contain her excitement. Amber Tate was THE NUMBER ONE female singer right now.

“Will she come?” she asked trying to sound nonchalant but hoping beyond hope that she would come.

Jade caught the underlying tone and smiled. “Yes, she will. She’s an animal fanatic. Amber has her own animal sanctuary she finances herself.”

“Did you hear that, Reilly? Amber Tate is coming to the Gala Charity Event for the animal shelter.” She rubbed his head and Reilly grinned appreciatively. He liked these people that never left him alone and took him out for long runs. Reilly was doggy happy in his new home.

“As long as she doesn’t try to seduce you because I unders
tand she goes both ways.”

Stacey laughed. “Not a chance.” Walking over she straddled her and kissed her on the lips. Jade kissed her hard back. She pulled back and looked into Jade’s beautiful green eyes. The absolute adrenaline rush when Jade touched her was pure magic. They had errands to run this afternoon but, looking at the clock, she wondered would another twenty minutes or so matter?

  Chapter Fifteen

Anthony rubbed his eyes blearily. He felt a stab of resentment at Jade for taking off so abruptly and then reappearing with this ridiculous request to front a charity event for an animal shelter in Kalispell.

She had already informed him by email that she had a commitment from Amber Tate to come and that the LeClerc’s, with their newly named LeCq line of clothing, were slotted in as well. Not that they had much to say about it.

Still he felt obligated to come and check out her new love conquest – a young woman. No doubt beautiful with a great body to satiate Jade’s desires. He wondered when the time came to give her the boot, how difficult would it be?

At thirty-eight years old and working steadily all the way through, he figured it was time that Jade had a mid-life crisis but did it have to be so sensational?

The plane was now approaching the runway of FCA. Jade and her new side kick would be waiting for him at the airport.

Getting off the plane and collecting his luggage he relaxed the tense muscles in his neck and jaw line. Seeing Jade standing by the exit he headed toward her.

Up close he was surprised at how beautiful and soft she looked. It was like all her sharp edges had been blunted slightly giving her a more delicate feminine look. Her glossy black hair usually perfectly straight with no sign of a tangle was tousled and sexy looking.

He was impressed. Maybe he didn’t have anything to worry about.

“Anthony,” she cried as she flung her arms around him and kissed him on the cheek. More un-Jade-like behavior he would have to get used to.

  “Where’s your girlfriend?”

She made a face at him. “Her name’s Stacey and she’s in the Jeep with the dog. She didn’t want to leave him alone.”

He had forgotten about the dog and again wondered at this very odd behavior.

“Come on, let’s go. I’m simply dying for you to meet Stacey.”

Walking toward the black Jeep in the parking lot, a door opened and one of the most incredibly beautiful women he could ever recall seeing stepped out. Reilly jumped out as well and greeted Jade as if she had been gone for fifteen years instead of fifteen minutes.

Jade introduced him to Stacey and she shyly took his hand. Looking down at her Anthony could see why Jade was so taken with her. She wasn’t anything like he expected – a brash, self-confident freeloader using sexuality as a snare.

She was so softly feminine and beautiful that all he could think to say was, “You’re exquisitely beautiful.” Turning to Jade he said, “You have good taste in women.”

The girl actually blushed when he said this. Taking her hand out of his she looked over at Jade for direction.

The absolute look of love in Jade’s eyes as she looked at Stacey made him realize this was not some fly by night romance. She was deeply infatuated and now that he had met her, it was not hard to see why. Still, Anthony knew looks and sex only counted for so much in a relationship. There had to be some connection as well.

Now that introductions were over everybody clambered back in the vehicle and headed back into Kalispell. Anthony sat in the front with Jade and Stacey sat in the back with Reilly.

Glancing back at her, he had a very erotic picture of his boss with her glossy black head down between Stacey’s legs, licking her to a climax. He felt slightly turned on by it.

Clearing his throat he asked, “Have you thought about a theme for the charity event?”

He saw Jade glance at Stacey in the rear view mirror. Not a good sign, he thought.

Almost sheepishly, she said, “No not really. Sorry.”

He rolled his eyes. “This event is only about a week away so you’d better start thinking of something.” He knew he sounded irritable but Jade was the one who had chosen the deadline and had done nothing about it. So unlike his demanding, deadline driven, uptight boss he remembered from New York.

“Look at Celebrity Apprentice. They do it all the time.”

He barely succeeded stopping his eyeballs from rolling again. A little bit of time away had made her soft in the head.

“You can’t compare a reality television show with real life because reality television ain’t real life.”

She pulled up into a driveway in front of a charming home. Getting out of the Jeep, he took in the cozy bungalow before him. Jade was all about ultra-modern, clean lines and an almost antiseptic atmosphere. As they approached the door with an impatient Reilly in the lead, he could see that had changed.

As he stepped inside, the home seemed to welcome him in a warm embrace. It had a really good atmosphere and he thought he might have some fun here. Stacey almost shyly took his jacket and hung it up. Again he was struck by her beauty. Shame she wasn’t taller for modeling. But noting her body as she took off her jacket, he thought she could probably be a bikini or lingerie model.

Jade was in the kitchen on the phone talking to Tannis. She let her know that Anthony had arrived and that they should get together for drinks later to discuss the event.

Now done with that task, she made coffee for them all and cracked open a bottle of Bailey’s for those who wanted it.

Anthony did and topped his coffee off with a generous portion. Taking a sip it tasted fantastic.

“So, outside of booking Amber and the Leclercs you haven’t thought of any other ideas for this event?”

She looked chagrined. “Not really. We got ourselves into it but haven’t thought about it yet. I mean they’re so desperate to become a no kill shelter it was impossible not to help.”

“You couldn’t simply donate the money to them?”

“I already donated three hundred thousand dollars but that’s a drop in the bucket compared to what they actually need. And you’re right, I could write them one big check for five million bucks but that’s not going to keep it going indefinitely. What we really need to do is bring attention to the shelter so that it can become self-supporting and keep its mission of being a no kill facility.”

He looked down at his coffee cup for a moment surprised to see it was empty. Stacey noticing his glance got up and poured him another cup of coffee. He topped it off with more Bailey’s.

Looking at Stacey he said to Jade. “Like I said, you have good taste in women.” To Stacey he said, “You’re perfectly charming.

“So you and Jade met at one of her speeches she gives now and again.” He watched Stacey very carefully as she replied.

“Yes, I went with a girlfriend of mine. We went up afterward to meet her and I was so overawed I could hardly form a coherent word. But fortunately she overlooked that.” He was glad to see Stacey didn’t glance at Jade when she answered him. If she had, he would have suspected she had been coached by her. Instead she met his gaze head on.

“Well what do you do then?”

She licked her lips. “I did model for lingerie ads for a bit. Mostly I work as a hostess in one of the casinos.”

The answer seemed to satisfy him as he nodded. “Yah, there are a lot of jobs like that in Las Vegas for beautiful young women like you. I hope they paid you well.”

  “Enough to get by.”

Just as he was getting warmed up on this subject, Jade interrupted. “So, do you have any ideas of how we can make this the best damn charity event ever?”

Distracted from this line of questioning, he said, “I do have some ideas actually.” Looking at the window he said, “I think we should bring spring to Kalispell in the wintertime.

“We can rent the biggest facility in Kalispell and bring springtime indoors. We’ll have trees, flowers-heck even waterfalls and we’ll get the best chef
so it’s a meal to remember.”

Both women were getting excited now.

“It could be spring time in the park and people could literally bring their pets with them,” Stacey added.

“That might be a little hard though with having food there. Some dogs are not as polite as others,” Jade commented.

“That’s true but we could set up a tent, sort of like a pet day care or a place where people can show off their pets’ talents,” Stacey interjected.

Jade nodded in agreement. “Or it could be both – a pet daycare for the event and a place where pets can show of their talents,” she elaborated.

“So we’ll have a people place with maybe a few well-chosen mascots in attendance and then a pet place,” Anthony concluded. They were making some headway now.

Jade went over to the kitchen drawer and fished out a pen and paper. “We better start writing some of this stuff down so we don’t forget it. We can run it passed Tannis when she gets here.

Later on that evening, when Tannis came to their home listening to their plans over a glass of wine, she was over the moon with excitement.

“I know just the place we can use. There’s a huge old restored barn about fifteen miles out of town used for celebrations. It’s beautiful with original woodwork, roughhewn beams and pillars, the ceiling has got to be twenty feet high.” She was enthused. “Plus there’s a huge kitchen with high-end equipment. More than enough room to set up bars, hell, several bars if we need to. And the beauty of it is it can legally hold up to three hundred people.” Taking a sip of her wine, she added, “I guess depending on what you want in there you’ll have to decide how many attendees will be a comfortable fit.”

They worked well into the early morning hours ordering in pizza and drinking more wine than what was probably good for them. By the time they were too exhausted to continue they felt they had made some headway with the event.
