Descent (Fated Book 2) Page 15

by Liza James

My hand hardly fits around the thickness of it, my fingers not touching as I slide up and down his length. I feel his hips as they thrust into my fist, at the same time that Nathanial’s cock slips into the back of my throat.

“Such a good girl you are,” Nathanial says as his hand slides to the back of my neck and his fingers gently massage my flesh. Both of them are groaning into my touch and my body lights up with empowerment at the fact that I’m pleasuring both of them. Even though Nathanial is in control, I know that I am as well. Even while I submit to him, I hold a power all on my own, one that neither of them can take away of me.

My pussy is soaked and aching as I try scissoring my legs in order to gain some relief. But Leon’s voice is the next one to instruct me, “Touch yourself, Red. Slip those fingers inside your pretty little pussy and ride your own hand.”

Nathanial growls in approval and I lift the hem of my shirt while I spread my knees on the hard floor. I slide my fingers beneath the hem of my panties and let them slip through my slick core. I was right, I’m beyond wet, my previous orgasm and current arousal coats my inner thighs as I move my hips against my hand. I slide one finger inside of myself and moan around Nathanial’s cock while he continues to work inside my mouth. God it’s so much, the countless ways my body and Succubus are being fed. I can hardly stand it. My mind can barely process each new demand or action as it happens.

“Make yourself come, baby girl,” Nathanial says just as hips pick up speed and the grip on my hair tightens. I work over his cock, savoring his taste and more of his cum while Leon’s hips move faster to my side, surging through my fingers while I continue touching myself.

“Fuck, I’m going to come Red,” Leon says but Nathanial’s voice immediately barks through.

“Don’t even think about marking her,” he says, and a ripple of fear works through me at the dangerous tone to his voice. It’s a threat toward Leon, and I instantly release his cock from my hand.

“I won’t, I won’t,” he concedes as he laughs and steps back, taking over himself as he watches Nathanial and I.

I keep moving on Nathanial, my jaw aching and working as I pick up speed on both his dick and my own clit. I let my other fist wrap around the base of him while I move.

“Swallow everything,” he orders as he shoves to the back of my throat and I feel the silky strands of his cum slide into the back of my mouth. I come at the same time, moaning and swallowing just as he demanded. I take all of it, crave all of it, because it’s coming from him and he’s everything I fucking need.

I sit back and catch my breath, bringing the back of my hand up to my mouth and swiping. Nathanial slips his heavy cock back into his briefs and sweats at the same time I recover from what we’ve been doing.

“Shit,” I say and I move to stand but Nathanial’s already there, lifting me by my elbow and steadying me as I find my footing.

“Don’t ever expect something like that to happen again,” Nathanial grinds out as he looks to Leon. I glance over to see that he found his release as well, he’s already tucked himself back inside of his jeans and he’s cleaning his stomach off with a kitchen rag.

Committing that to memory, I need to toss that shit later.

Leon laughs, casually leaning back against the counter and crossing his arms over his chest. “Yeah, I’m surprised I even got in on that one.”

“Yeah, what luck you have,” I mutter sarcastically when I realize how incredibly full I feel from feeding from the both of them. My Succubus is relaxed and sated with her needs, and in result, my body is feeling more energized than it has in a long time. That was more than I’ve gotten in months.

Suddenly, the door to the kitchen swings wide as Elijah strides into the room. “Now that you all are finished with whatever the fuck that was, we have some things we need to discuss.”

My cheeks flare with heat at the fact that he clearly knows something happened and I dart my gaze to catch both of the guy’s expressions. But they don’t seem concerned with Elijah’s knowledge, and Nathanial’s body is still tense as his eyes fall to Leon.

“What are you even doing here?” Nathanial asks, annoyance lining his tone. I don’t know if he regrets what he let me do with Leon. But he should know that truthfully, he’s the only one I actually want. That was fun, and I enjoyed it, but Nathanial fulfills me on an entirely different level that no one else can even begin to reach.

“I actually came by because I heard you both were going to the Underworld, and I wanted to make sure Stella knew what she was getting into.”

“What is that supposed to mean?” I ask, setting my gaze on Nathanial. He scrubs a hand down his face, and I cross my arms loosely around my chest.

“Wait, before we get into all of this. What the hell happened outside? Is that Amelia’s blood?” He changes the subject, but I guess it is pretty apparent now that we’ve satiated that itch with each other for a bit.

“Yes,” I start just as Leon opens his mouth to jump in. “—and before you ask, we’re both fine. It was nothing. She’s still outside—”

“No she’s not,” Leon states flatly.

My eyes narrow, confusion lines my features. I didn’t see her come inside. “What? Where is she?”

“She walked in while you were sucking Nathanial’s cock and finishing yourselves off.”

I let my eyes fall to Nathanial, but he shrugs his shoulders carelessly. “What? Who the fuck cares?”

“Jesus, you guys. All right, then you know she’s fine too. Now, back to the Underworld. When are we leaving? Today?” My voice is hard, irritation courses through me at the two of them. I don’t much care if people watch us fuck, but I had no idea, and now I’m curious about what exactly I’m going to have to do in order to access the Underworld.

“You won’t know,” Nathaniel reveals as he sighs and leans back against the counter. “I won’t either. I’m sure Esme is already aware that we’ll need her, Elijah probably called when he got ahold of Leon.”

“I did call Leon. I wanted to know if he had heard about Sunan’s reappearances and if he had any information we’d find valuable.” Elijah interjects as he crosses his ankles and leans back against the door of the kitchen.

“I had no idea she was showing up again. I bet Amelia’s ecstatic.” The way Leon refers to them sends chills rippling down my spine. He clearly loathes them, and I can already see how his body is vibrating with a barely controlled rage.

“Actually, Amelia seemed indifferent to the information. I don’t think she knew her mom was showing up, but she didn’t seem thrilled about that fact either,” I mention, because while I have no idea how Amelia feels about Sunan, I know she’s experiencing something. That was evident in what transpired between the two of us outside.

“I do think we need to keep an eye on her,” I intentionally look to Nathanial, in hopes that he will understand there’s more to what I’m saying.

“Clearly, Amelia is ruthless. She doesn’t care about anyone,” Leon interrupts.

Elijah jumps in, trying to keep the conversation on track. “Keep an eye on her more than usual, you mean?”

“Yes, I don’t know what’s happening exactly. But—” I pause, trying to figure out the best way to explain what I saw without exposing her just yet. “She’s going through something. Okay? That’s all I’m saying about it now.”

Nathanial watches me intently, his shoulders tense and pulled back as a tick flickers in the back of his jaw. He wants to demand more information, but I’m not ready to give it up just yet.

“Okay. Elijah, pass the information on to Luna as well. As for the Underworld. Going to see Lucifer, Leon can give you a little more insight into that.” We all turn our eyes to him, and he steps forward, squaring his shoulders and meeting our hard gazes.

“Lucifer, he likes games. He likes tricks. Pain is his pleasure, and he enjoys watching people suffer before he gives them access to the door.”

I turn fully towards him, anxiously waiting to hear
more. I lift a hand, rolling it forward and silently urging him to continue.

“Esme will take you both to the forest. It’s where the veil is the thinnest between our worlds. There’s a collision of natural energy there, multiple ecosystems with the forestry and smaller streams running throughout the area. But at that point, she’ll tell you how to find the door. It won’t be easy. You’ll have to play by his rules before he lets you enter.” Leon’s voice is thick with tension as he explains what he knows.

“So, you’re basically saying we will have no idea what we’ll have to do until we’re in the fucking middle of it,” Nathanial replies, agitation washing over his tone as he rakes a hand through his golden hair.

“Basically,” Leon states, giving us a sad, apologetic smile that doesn’t reach his eyes.

“Fanfuckingtastic,” I mutter. I turn around and walk past the boys, leaving the kitchen and heading back to my room. I need to get dressed, eat some real fucking food, and then figure out how to win the little games Lucifer will be putting us through.

“Now?” I ask as I roll onto my back, turning in the heavy black comforter that spans my king-sized bed. I pull my phone away from my ear and glance at the time briefly before bringing it back—three a.m.

I have one those large modern, wrought iron four poster frames. The ones that have the rails across the top as well. I found them especially useful, for some of the darker things I participated in when I had guests over at my previous home.

Surprisingly, Luna and Elijah gave me the master bedroom here at the new house. They said they preferred the smaller space, they didn’t want to be surrounded by vacant areas they didn’t know how to fill yet, so they chose a smaller room off to the side. The master, however, is located directly next to Stella’s room and I think they intentionally left it open so that I could claim it for myself.

Doesn’t matter, really. I would have taken it whether they offered or not, so maybe that’s why they didn’t put up the fight. “I know, I know. I realize the veil is thinnest around now. I just didn’t realize we’d be going so soon. I’ll get her and we’ll meet you there,” I say before hanging up with Esme and placing my phone back on the small stand sitting next to my bed.

I should have known it would happen this quickly. Lucifer loves toying with people. He enjoys the game, and I have no doubts that Stella and I will experience some toxic shit tonight.

I stand and stretch, trying to wrap my mind around what happened between myself, Stella, and Leon earlier. I couldn’t fucking say no again, couldn’t turn away from my flawless preference of poison.

I know that tonight will end things for us. What she sees, what she experiences will resolve her desire to be with me. So, I had to taste her. I had to have her, as much of her as I could steal in the moments before I wouldn’t be able to touch her again.

And then that prick, Leon walked in. Did I love seeing her hands on him? Fuck no. But I loved watching her, getting off on getting two guys off. I loved the way her skin was flushed and her chest was throbbing with rapid breaths. I loved the way strands of her hair clung to the heated skin on her neck, or the way her eyes widened with surprise and intrigue at every single one of my demands.

I loved that she loved fucking submitting to me. Obeying me and imploring me for more of it. Her wet pussy was every bit as perfect as I imagined, and for that, Leon could have his little bit of entertainment for the time being. As long as I was in control of every single facet.

He knows who she belongs to, and make no mistake, she knows as well.

  It’ll always be me.

Consequently, I claimed my moment with her earlier, so I’d have something to hold on to after tonight. Because after all of this, I won’t have to refuse her anymore. She’ll be too busy running her sweet little ass as far away from me as she can get.

I quickly find a pair of black slacks and a black long sleeve button down. Lucifer won’t expect anything less and truthfully, I’m comfortable in these clothes. I roll the sleeves tightly up my forearms, cuffing them just below my elbows and reach for the black Vacheron Constantin watch that sets on my dresser, clasping it around my wrist.

After sliding on my black Brunello Cucinelli’s, I quickly make my way to Stella’s room, walking in without a knock and step towards the side of her bed. I close my eyes for a moment, reaching out and into her mind in search of Danner. He doesn’t seem to be visiting her just yet, and he didn’t come earlier, so I doubt he’ll get to see her tonight at all. That’s a positive note at least.

I open my eyes and lean forward, placing one hand directly behind her head while I slip the other around the side of her throat, sliding forward until I hear the little gasp escape her lips. It’s that sound that calls to me, it licks through my blood and stirs the innate desire to take her. Fuck her into submission and then do it all over again. Her entire body tenses and my cock immediately thickens in my slacks.

I tighten my hold around her throat and press my lips to her ear. “Are you ready to play, baby girl?”

I await her response, staying close and brushing my nose against the loose locks of her hair. I breathe her in, indulge my senses for the briefest of moments until her faint voice whispers in the dark.

  “Yes.”

I let go at her acceptance and step back, turning around and stalking towards the door.

“Get dressed, wear something nice. Meet me downstairs in five minutes.” I reach for the doorknob and shift to pull it closed behind me, letting the small click sound as my severance from her. Shutting a door between us, erecting a wall that needs to be firmly set in place.

This is the right thing. It’s what’s best for her, and she’s about to learn why.

When Stella comes down stairs—exactly five minutes from when I left her room, I checked—I have to steady my gaze and remind myself that she’s wearing a plain dress, that anyone could be wearing, that would look good on literally every single woman out there.

But my gaze falters and lingers on the way the floor length bohemian fabric cascades down from her waist and naturally flows around her feet as she walks. The back is wide open, exposing her milky skin and then clings around the smallest point of her waist. It’s purple, a light lilac color that compliments her red hair perfectly. The front sits high, coming up and around her throat where the thin fabric ties into a small knot at the nape of her neck.

I haven’t seen her in something like this since that first night we met at Elijah’s, and I can’t help but feel like our usually chaotic emotions are suddenly more at peace than what they’ve been over the last few months. A passing thought flashes through my head, that maybe our greedy connection is slightly more sated after giving it what it wanted earlier. I love that, honestly. But the sting of remembering why it won’t last lances through my chest and sets me back on track.

She pauses at the foot of the stairs and I let my gaze resume its perusal over her body, slowly bringing it back up to her eyes and then let my lips fall into a flat line. “Let’s go.”

Her eyes narrow just briefly, but she doesn’t say a word as she follows behind me. I could have called Alf to drive us, but I didn’t know how long we’d be gone, and I wanted to make sure we had a vehicle at our disposal if needed.

I refrained from waking Luna and Elijah, and instead sent him a message letting him know we were leaving and that I’d reach out to him as soon as I could. I know the entire thing will worry Luna, and she’ll be livid when she wakes to find that Stella and I are gone, but it’s better to avoid goodbyes at this point. We’ll be back, I have no doubt about that.

“Stella,” Amelia’s voice surprises me by breaking through the dark space just as we’re about to walk out the front door. Stella quickly turns around, and her eyes fall to Amelia’s small frame, which sits crouched at the top of the staircase. Unease washes through me at her appearance, she’s clearly uncomfortable and her fingers are rubbing circles across her wrist. Her hair is pulled up into a loose bun, but white strands have fall
en around her pale face. Her skin is more sunken in than usual, highlighting her sharp jaw and cheek bones. Stella was right, we do need to keep a closer eye on her.

“Remember, it isn’t real,” she whispers the words so quietly that I have a hard time hearing her.

Stella takes a step closer to the stairs. “What?” she asks, and I notice the way her shoulders have stiffened against her spine. A strange sense of hesitation works its way through my limbs and I instantly feel defensive. I fight the urge to step forward and pull Stella back, but instead watch as she tries to gain understanding of Amelia’s reminder.

“It isn’t real. None of it is.” Amelia stands before she can respond and turns without another word.

Stella looks at me over her shoulder, her eyebrows pinch in confusion as she twists to continue following out the front door. “What do you think she meant?”

“I’m not sure,” I reply, and step aside so that Stella can move in front of me. We walk quickly to my G-Wagon and she climbs inside the passenger side as I move into the front seat.

“I need to tell you about what happened with Amelia earlier, but you can’t tell anyone else. I think we need to keep this between us, however, I feel like you should know before we meet with Lucifer.” Her words cut through me as we pull out of the driveway. Soon, the surroundings will become hazy to Stella, in strange patterns that confuse where our exact location is due to the wards that Esme placed around the house.

Unease swells in my chest over what could be happening with Amelia. Stella and Luna need to be kept safe, as well as Elijah as the new leader of our kind. I’m glad Stella is comfortable enough to come to me with this.

Even if we can’t have the life we truly want with each other, maybe we can make this work between us. An easy conversation of exchanging information. Something simple and lacking emotion.
