GS: Do you see your family often?

  TM: Every single day.

GS: Everyone wants to know if you’re getting married.

DF: Why does everyone want us to get married so bad?

TM to DF: They can’t understand why you wouldn’t want to put a ring on all this.

  DF: He’s gesturing to himself.

  TM: You’re looking.

DF: I like what I see.

GS: So is that a no to the wedding?

TM: It’s not a no. But it’s not a right now either. We’re happy how we are. We have a great life, great jobs, a great house, and a big family. I don’t need a ring to make me happier.

DF: I don’t either. T makes me happy, and I know he’s not going anywhere.

TM to DF: You’re stuck with me, Forrester.

  DF to TM: Hells yeah.

GS: Do you think if you were to get married, it might cause unwanted drama.

  DF: What kind of drama?

GS: In the media? With family members who might not understand?

TM: How about we skip to the fun questions?

GS: You’ll have to forgive me. Our readers are very vocal. I had to ask.

DF: Hopefully they’ll understand we like to keep our private life private.

  GS:

  GS: Who hogs the bed?

  TM: Drew.

DF: I don’t hog the bed.

  TM: He totally hogs it.

  GS: Do you share clothes?

  TM: Always.

GS: Drew, you’re currently ranked number one in the NRR. Do you plan on bringing home the championship trophy again this year?

  DF: Of course.

GS: How is the rivalry with Lorhaven going?

DF: He’s a good driver. Doesn’t make it easy to stay ahead.

  GS: Do you like kids?

  TM: Of course we do.

DF: We have two nephews, a niece, and there’s another munchkin on the way.

GS: That would be Romeo and Rimmel Anderson who are expecting, correct?

  TM: Yes.

  GS: Ever think about adopting?

DF: We just adopted a dog. Our sister won’t stop bringing them home from her shelter.

  GS: I meant a child.

TM: He acts like a child, always wanting to eat, and I think he might need a diaper. He won’t stop peeing on shit.

  GS: The dog?

DF: He’s brown. His name is French Fry.

TM: We are not calling that dog French Fry!

DF: French Fry is a good name for a dog. Don’t you think, Emily?

GS: I’m going to have to go with Trent on this one.

TM: I told you, Forrester. It’s terrible. Not even Rimmel was on board, and she named her dog Ralph!

GS: Ralph is better than French Fry.

  TM & DF:

  GS: Coffee or tea?

  TM & DF: Coffee

GS: What is your favorite month during the year?

  TM: October.

DF: My birthday is in October.

TM: That’s why it’s my favorite.

  DF: Aww, frat boy.

  GS: What’s your favorite movie?

  DF: Terminator.

GS: Any chance I could maybe get you to talk more about marriage and kids?

  TM: No.

GS: Can’t blame a girl for trying.

It’s not exactly the answers I think all our persistent readers were hoping for, but it does give everyone a little inside look at our favorite couple. Perhaps in the future, GearShark will be lucky enough to have a special wedding issue featuring Trent and Drew.

Until then, let’s hope those boys pick a name for their “brown” dog that isn’t French Fry.

  Author’s Note

Did this book surprise you? It did me. I thought #Blur would be the #finishline for the GearShark series, but when I finished, I realized I had more to say. Arrow and Hopper are hard characters to let go of. They were still in my brain, talking, telling me things.

When I realized I wanted to do a wedding book, it took me by surprise. I never intended to marry off any of these characters. I always felt right with their happy endings, and in my heart, I know all these couples will be together forever. A wedding didn’t seem so important to me… until Hopper made it important. He just popped up in my head and wouldn’t let it rest that he wanted to marry Arrow. So I started it in secret. Didn’t tell anyone I was writing it because I had no idea how it would go. Originally, I thought it would be three sections: Arrow and Hopper, Joey and Lorhaven, and then a third section for Trent and Drew.

Obviously, having just read it, you know there isn’t section for Trent and Drew (except the bonus interview!). Hopper and Arrow had a lot to say, and I felt Joey and Lorhaven’s happily ever after fit really well. They kind of coincide, you know?

Trent and Drew, not so much. I wouldn’t be able to condense anything into a small section, so I didn’t bother trying. I realize Trent and Drew are HIGHLY requested for a wedding book and a baby book. I know, guys. LOL. Here’s the thing. It’s just like they said in the book. They’re happy. #Junkie and #Rev are my favorite books. I will not add another one until/unless I have something that will live up to those two books. I have a couple ideas, but nothing concrete, and I won’t put a book together and put it out there just because it’s highly demanded—UNTIL I have it the way I really want it.

So this is it for now. I’m not ruling out a revisit to Trent and Drew. I’d love to do it. I love them. But not right now. Maybe sometime later this year. We’ll see.

Until then, I hope you enjoyed #FinishLine. Hopper and Arrow are so special. I love the way they love each other.

What’s next for me? I’m really not sure. My entire life has been #Hashtag and GearShark for a couple years now. I think it might be fun to write something else. I just hope you all will read it.

As always, thank you for the enthusiastic and unwavering support for this series. It means so much to me. Thank you for all the shares, reviews, and beautiful comments. I appreciate each one.

  See you next book!
