Eve's Spawn Page 3

by Tuesday Morrigan

“Have you ever ridden a motorcycle?” Kiros whispered into her ear the moment her girlfriends turned to leave.

Eve had to swallow the lump in her throat before responding. “No.”

“You won’t be able to say that tomorrow.”

“You ride a motorcycle?” she asked on a gasp.

“A Harley. Is that a problem?” he asked.

Eve instinctively knew by his glittering gaze that he was searching for fear in her deep brown eyes. She immediately shook her head no. “I’ve always been fascinated with motorcycles, ever since I was a little girl, but...” She stopped speaking, unwilling to finish the statement.

  “Yet, you’ve never ridden one.”

“No, I’ve always been too afraid. My mother always said they weren’t safe.” And I did not want to put Mama through that considering all she had already survived.

“No, not afraid, sweetheart,” he said before grasping her hands. She immediately groaned. Eve knew why he was holding her hands. She had been fidgeting with her hands. It was what she did when nervous. And she was very nervous.

“You just haven’t had the chance,” he said before placing a soft kiss against her lips.

Eve felt protected and wanted as he led the way out of the club. Kiros made sure that no one disturbed her. After the first man tried to touch her as they strode through the crowd, Kiros clasped her to him and fended off all unwanted advances. One man even reached out to grab her ass.

Kiros grabbed the man’s wrist before it touched Eve and tightened his grip. The young man turned a dull white color in seconds. As they walked from his crouched figure Eve heard something that sounded distinctly like an animal growling.

  “Did you hear that?”

“What?” Kiros responded before leading her out the club exit.

“Nothing. I must have imagined it.”

With long, fluid steps Kiros led them across the parking lot to his bike. Within seconds she was winded. When Eve protested the pace, he offered to carry her. She laughed him off, taking it for a joke and so was shocked to find herself being lifted off her feet.

“Put me down,” she said, laughing at his byplay.

“No,” Kiros responded as he shook his head at her. “Your feet hurt.”

  “How did you know?”

“You’re wearing high heels. You’ve been wearing them all night. Your feet must hurt.”

“You’re carrying me because my feet hurt,” Eve said as she caressed his face.

“Yes.” The simple word was said so emphatically that she knew it didn’t even occur to him that it should be any other way. He didn’t put her down until they reached his bike. He carefully placed his passenger helmet on her head.

“Do you have a sister?” she asked, noticing how he watched her hair. He had made sure not a single strand was out of place.

  “No, why do you ask?”

“You didn’t mess up my hair. That’s something a brother would do.”

The smile she gave him had his cock twitching. Kiros gave her a slow, sexy smile in response. “I know women, sweetheart,” he said before bending to place a sweet kiss against her lips.

Upon impact Kiros could feel the thick, molten sensations of desire coursing through his veins. One touch and he needed to feel her against him. His arms wrapped around her waist to pull her to him. His tongue thrust past her open lips to slide against her teeth before licking her hot, moist interior.

He had seen centuries and no woman’s scent, touch, or body had affected him like this. He felt as though if he didn’t get inside of her now, he would explode or embarrass both of them.

Several seconds later he broke off the heated kiss to press butterfly kisses against every inch of her face. He didn’t want to break their connection, but he knew that if he kept kissing Eve’s lips, he would take her right there in the parking lot without a single care about who saw them. She was that intoxicating.

Kiros took a deep breath to steady himself. He could feel the raging need inside him taking hold. He had to get his emotions under control before he did something they would both regret.

“If we don’t leave soon, we’ll never make it to the dessert shop,” he said as he gazed into her chocolate eyes.

  Eve nervously licked her lips.

His words weren’t simply a statement, but a question. Did they want to make it to the dessert shop, his burning violet eyes silently asked. He knew what he wanted her to say.

But she had to want it as much as he did.

“Ah... I guess we better get going,” she said before pulling her skirt higher.

She slowly inched the skirt up her thighs, inch by tantalizing inch. After a few seconds she stopped and slowly lifted her head. Her eyes connected with his. It was in that moment that Kiros realized he hadn’t moved an inch. He was transfixed by the sight of the slow revealing of her thick thighs.

It had taken her a few moments to realize something was off.

She was like a deer in headlights, unable to move.

Kiros had to force himself to stop clenching his hands into fists. He took a deep breath, which was a mistake because he drank in Eve’s scent, and got a whiff of woman, arousal, and fear. It was a devastating combination to a dominant male such as he.

Finally, after long, skin tingling moments, his eyes met hers. “If we weren’t in public,” he said before taking a deep breath, drinking in more of her precious scent. Now, there was more arousal than fear in her aroma. Kiros clenched his teeth to keep from cursing. He kept his eyes on her as he bent, picked up his helmet, and put it on in one sweeping move.

When he knew a howl wasn’t going to come out of his mouth, he spoke, trying to ease some of Eve’s nervous tension. “Come on, sweetheart. Don’t tease me,” he said with a heart stopping devilish smile as he tightened the helmet strap around his neck.

“But that’s part of the allure of being a woman,” Eve said with a sensual smile as she hiked up the tight skirt of her dress so she could comfortably sit on the bike.

“Witch,” Kiros whispered to her before getting on the bike. Once he was seated on the bike, he turned to her. “Ready to fly?”

“You have no idea,” she said before sliding behind him. She immediately threw her arms around his waist.

“Make it purr, baby,” she whispered teasingly into his ears.

“Oh I will. I definitely will,” he said before gunning the Harley.

Kiros enjoyed the feeling of the wind rushing past them and Eve’s hands clutching his waist, as they drove through the deserted city streets. Within minutes he stopped the bike in front of a dark restaurant.

“It’s closed,” Eve said as she carefully removed her helmet.

“Not quite,” Kiros said before he walked to the store window and lifted a small portion of the bay window’s wooden trim. A silver key glistened in the moonlight.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Eve said flabbergasted.

“Ready for dessert?” he said as he strode to the darkened door. Within moments he had it unlocked.

She could feel him watching her, waiting to see her reaction. She instinctively knew it would be best to play the part of the bored siren. She knew from experience that men wanted what they could not have, but Eve couldn’t hide the awe in her eyes when she walked through the door and took in the dessert shop. There were elegantly designed platters filled with every kind of dessert possible. There were plates of cakes, cookies, candies, and puddings all over the restaurant.

  “How... why... I don’t understand.”

“I made a call while you and your friends were talking.”

“And someone did this that quickly?” she asked shocked and confused.

“The owner owes me a favor,” Kiros muttered before unzipping his leather jacket.

“This is a lot for a...”

  “First date,” he responded automatically.

Whatever Eve was going to say was quickly forgotten when she caught sight of what Kiros was hiding ben
eath his jacket. Although she had felt his taut muscles bunching and twisting beneath her fingers on the ride to the sweet shop, she wasn’t prepared for the sight that greeted her.

No man should look that good at one in the morning, she thought as she stared at his rippling muscular chest and stomach. She could see the ridges and indentations of a well toned body beneath the skin tight black tee he wore. The man didn’t have an inch of fat on him. He was six feet three inches of perfection.

And he’s yours to do with for tonight, at least.

“Where do you want to start?” she asked as she circled the artfully laid out tables of food.

“Here,” he said, pointing out a table to his left. “Venetia, the pastry chef, has a trademark special cake. The Devil’s Food cake here is delicious.”

“We’ll see,” Eve said with a smile as she made her way to the table in question. She slid into the seat Kiros held out for her, mindful of her satin dress. She watched him walk over to the seat across from her, pick it up and place it right next to hers.

“Finished?” he asked before sitting down.

“What do you mean?” she muttered with a shy smile.

He simply shook his head at her before groaning out the word women.

The truth was they both knew what he was talking about. He had caught her staring at his ass. Oddly enough Eve was not embarrassed. The man was, after all, sex on a platter. Every inch of him made her think wanton thoughts, ass included. And what a fine ass it was. Perfectly plump and rounded with just the right amount of muscle.

“Try this,” he said before forking off a piece of the decadent cake before them.

Eve stared at the fork he held out in front of her lips for a moment before opening her mouth for him.

There was an instant burst of flavor on her tongue. Eve could taste layer after layer of heavenly flavor, decadent chocolate. She closed her eyes and savored the taste of indulgence on her tongue.

  “What was that?” she questioned.

“The house recipe for Devil’s Food cake.”

“Sin has never tasted so good,” she said on a moan before opening her mouth for another fork full of cake.

Eve watched him as she chewed the piece of cake. When she was finished, she licked her lips, before giving him a slow, sexy smile.

  “Absolutely, breathtakingly, delicious,” she said.

  “Lady, you are dangerous.”

“I’m sorry,” she said. “I can’t help it. Devil’s Food cake brings out the worst in me.”

“Then have another bite,” he said before feeding her another fork full of decadence.

“Now, I want to try,” he growled before settling his mouth against her closed lips. The hard line of his mouth softened against hers, seducing her lips to part. His nimble tongue coaxed and coerced her, flicking against the closed contours of her mouth. Then his tongue, warm and moist, slid past her parted lips, entered her mouth and leisurely explored the succulent flesh.

Kiros’s dominant possession of her mouth swallowed her soft sigh as his tongue licked the inside of her mouth, spreading the taste of Kiros and rich chocolate.

Kiros groaned against her lips. Then, his long fingers tightened in her ebony hair, pulling her closer for his deeper kiss. A kiss that ravished and plundered Eve’s mouth, along with her defenses. Eve found herself wide open to receive his tongue as it dove deeper into the hot, inner recesses of her mouth, tasting every inch of her and leaving her breathless.

When Kiros broke off the kiss, they were both breathing hard, fat gulps of air.

“Tell me you feel it too,” he said, his voice pitched just above a growl, husky with desire.

Eve’s mahogany eyes slowly fluttered open and gazed up at him. She sucked in air and gasped. Eve found whatever air she had taken leave her lungs instantly. She knew that she had been affected by his plundering kiss, but was shocked to find that he was equally moved. The proof was there in his heavy hooded gaze. The swirling whirlpool of leashed hunger was there in his bright violet eyes.

Kiros attempted to smile at her to temper the harsh look in his eyes. But he couldn’t hide the fact that he wore his burning desire on his face.

“Tell me you feel it,” he repeated.

“Kiros...” she said softly before lifting the fork to his closed lips.

Kiros opened his mouth without breaking their gaze.

They both hungered. Although she didn’t say how she felt, she could let him know of the hunger that burned within her, the hunger that no amount of food could appease.

She needed him the same way he needed her.

She had never felt attraction so intense. It was pure animal magnetism. They were no other way to describe the emotion that swam through her veins. She had never felt the way she felt there with Kiros.

Kiros slowly opened his mouth, all the while watching her. The look in his violet eyes seared her to her toes.

He took the sweet confection from her fork and tasted it without breaking their connection.

“I could lick, suck, taste this all night,” he said before bending his head to share his dessert with her.

When Kiros’s mouth landed on hers, her lips were parted, open and ready for his thrusting tongue. His tongue swept through the parted seal to slide into the depth of her mouth, sharing with her the sweet taste of the dessert.

“Tiramisu,” she groaned into his mouth.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you,” Kiros growled against her parted lips before taking them in a bruising kiss.

Touching her, tasting Eve, heated his blood to a feverish pitch. He was a fiend, addicted to something he could never truly own.

One large hand left the sanctity of her hair to curve around Eve’s body. She was bodily lifted from her seat and settled along his thighs so that she straddled him. And Kiros never broke off the kiss, a testament to his strength.

“Not good enough,” he growled against her lips before he wrapped all ten fingers around her splayed thighs and pulled her higher along his body, until she was straddling the bulge between his thighs.

“Much better,” he said, his voice thick and deep with the need bubbling in his veins. In this position they were level so that there was no hiding from his violet gaze. Definitely much better, he thought before tilting Eve’s head back to expose the soft, fragile skin of her neck.

Kiros placed little nipping, biting kisses against the tender skin, but his hunger wasn’t appeased. He wanted more of Eve.

“Needs a little something more,” he whispered against her skin.

His quick hands and ever quicker mind grabbed a piece of the tiramisu and spread it along Eve’s soft, sensitive skin. Her eyes instantly flew open at his touch. Her gasp of shock floated through the air when his hot mouth descended on her neck, licking away the evidence of the tiramisu he had spread along her skin.

“Oh my,” Eve moaned on an open mouthed gasp.

Kiros pressed the wet velvet texture of his tongue against Eve’s skin and licked a path up her neck. He took his time, licking, sipping, nipping and sucking at Eve’s delicious skin until he reached the soft under skin of her jaw line. He rasped his teeth against her skin and elicited a groan of desire from Eve.

“Please,” she groaned as she clutched his arms, pressing her body against his.

“Feed me,” he growled against her parted plump lips.

Without breaking his gaze, Eve forked off a large piece of the Devil’s Food cake, but Kiros started shaking his head no before the fork ever reached his mouth.

  “Tiramisu?” Eve asked.

“Nope,” Kiros said before breaking out into a devilish smile.

Eve stared at him, confusion in her eyes, before she darted a look around the room at the plates filled with dessert that were artfully scattered around the restaurant. When she looked back at Kiros to ask what he wanted he was shaking his head in denial.

He didn’t want anything Decadent Dessert’s famous pastry chef had made.

He wanted something only she could give him.

His eyes drifted down until they settled on her breasts before lifting to meet her gaze. He simply quirked one dark blond eyebrow at her.

Her first thought was he was kidding. He could see it the way her eyes widened and her eyebrows lifted. There was no way he expected her to let him get to second base right here in the middle of a restaurant, a deserted restaurant, but a restaurant nonetheless,

“I’ve never had mounds of chocolate quite like that. I feel like a kid in a candy store,” he pressed.

Eve glanced down to look at her satin encased bosom. Blessed with a full DD-cup she was what some would call blessed. He would call her heaven.

“I don’t think --” Eve started to say when he cut her off.

“Then don’t think, feel,” he said before placing a kiss in the middle of her breast, right on top of her heartbeat. “I won’t do anything you don’t want, but I need you to know I want you.”

Her eyes slammed shut when he pressed his lips against her rapidly beating heart.

“You’re the one who’s dangerous,” she whispered against his lips before settling her lips against his. Her full lips muffled the sound of his chuckle.

He slowly slid down the straps of her corset gown before peeling down the cups that held her bountiful breasts high.

“Dear god,” he groaned when she was fully revealed to him.

Although Kiros had seen many women’s bodies over three centuries, no sight had caught him like she did. The combination of her partial nudity and the shy insecurity in her eyes had his heart clenching with a combination of desire and need.

Kiros needed her to know that she was the most desirable woman he had ever set sights on.

“Magnificent,” he said before pulling her head down for a tongue tangling kiss. He couldn’t seem to keep his hands off her.

“Feed me,” he growled as he untangled his fingers from her midnight hair.

Kiros watched, shocked and fascinated, when Eve slightly turned and grasped a small handful of the Devil’s Food cake and smeared it on her puckered aureoles and distended nipples.
