I started this book almost a year ago before life got in the way. It kept me going, though, when school got to be too much. So many things have happened since May 10th, 2017, and for starts marrying my best friend is the start of that.
This book was important to me because it embodied the people around me and their stories. Each book, I give a little bit of myself and the people I love into it. My family is a huge support system for my writing, as I’m doing this solo and with no help. There might be some misplaced commas, and words that get jumbled together, but it’s still a part of me.
I write for myself mainly. The people who read what I write and love it are a bonus to me. They give me faith that I can continue on with my hobby, the one thing I love out of all my hobbies. And I have an amazing man supporting me throughout my life to rely on when I get stuck on a book because it always happens.
The Wrong Girl was about finding that special someone at the wrong moment and then making up for lost time farther on down the road. We don’t always meet our favorite person when we need to, or when we should have, but they come along the way eventually and that’s what my stories are for. To show that love always comes around in the end.
Thank you readers for making this one of my favorite, most long, drawn out projects to date. You all are amazing!
