Owned By The Alien Prince Page 5

As I fell asleep I was comforted by the sole thought that I was alone again and could sleep through the torment. If I wasn’t awake, I didn’t have to put forth brainstorming effort to divulge a plan of survival.

I was exhausted and broken. Maybe when I woke up on the other side, I would gain more knowledge about how to move forward from there.

  Chapter Five

  Harkzak

The excitement burned my soul and sizzled in my brain. I won the beautiful blonde virgin, the juicy young female.

Was it luck, or money that eventually led me to this gloriously gratifying place? Maybe it was a combination of both.

I had beat out all of the other Xicret men and my heart raced as I thought about how jealous they must feel at that moment. I won the golden pot at the end of the rainbow and I would be the talk of all of Xicret because of it.

Patience was a virtue, they said. I was thankful that I waited to achieve my destiny. Good things came to those who waited.

Pride burst through me like electricity with each leaping step I took. It was time to greet my woman and be the perfect blend of honor, nobility and grace.

She was all mine and finally I could show her off to my friends and family. I imagined how I would go home, look my father in the eye and smugly tell him how it paid off to wait, that good things came to those who were patient enough.

Blonde human girls were a rarity on Xicret, and I couldn’t wait to fuck her and blend our two different bloodlines together.

I viewed the young virgin like a prize, because in some ways she was a prize. I had won her fair and square.

Walking up to Derrit, I wore a boastful smile as I greeted him. “Here’s your money.” I proudly shoved the white envelope stacked with cash at Derrit. “I trust you will see that my father gets this?” I narrowed my eyes at him.

“Yes, sir, right away!” He gave me a confident smile and tucked the money under his arm.

He happily bounced his way out of the auditorium, most likely headed back home for the long journey back to Xicret.

He had no reason to stick around on Earth; his job was to simply be the auctioneer. He was not big or attractive enough to be able to compete in the competition for the virgins, nor was he allowed to due to his job in the process.

I smiled and spun around, ready to conquer my next quest…meeting the attractive blonde that I just paid for, to have the new right to touch, smell and fondle.

I was met at the door outside of the auditorium by a firm hand of a Xicret woman. “Not now.”

I stood there, appalled that this wench would even have the audacity to defy me with such disrespect.

I looked around and tried to move her out of the way, but she gripped me tightly. I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I moved back momentarily.

“What do you mean, not now?” I hissed, clinched my teeth and narrowed my eyes down on the defiant woman in front of me. She needed to get out of my path immediately.

The girl was my prize, I won her justly. It was my right to go and retrieve her and I wasn’t about to allow anyone to stand in the way of that right.

I folded my arms across my chest defiantly, but the Xicret woman looked comically bored with me, as if I was some whining child not getting their way.

In her defense, I suppose there were some aspects of the situation that would make me appear sour.

“She’s sleeping, with a sedative. You must wait for her to wake up before taking her.” The woman wasn’t going to back down.

I scoffed. “This is absurd. Do you have any idea who I am?” I leaned in close to her, met her adamant stare with my own.

Her excuse wasn’t good enough for me. I could hike my prize girl over my shoulder and carry her home as she slept.

Now she folded her arms across her chest and I could see her placing her feet firmly on the ground. She was prepared to fight me if it came to blows. Xicret women were just crazy like that. They had no fear.

I didn’t want to have any brawl with a female. I may have had an addiction when it came to craving human pussy, but I was no woman hitter or wife beater. I knew how to control the urges of my unraveling temper.

“The girl is too upset now. You won’t want her this way. We gave her an injection. It will wear off in thirty minutes, then you can come back to get her.”

The woman raised a solid eyebrow at me. She was nearly as tall as me and equally abrasive. This was the issue we had with woman back on our planet. They were rebellious and wouldn’t listen to instructions or reason.

I blew out a frustrated puff of air and threw my hands up in the air in exasperation. “Fine. Whatever.” I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders. I had exercised patience up to this point and it wouldn’t kill me to wait a little while longer.

At that moment though, I leaned in closer to the smug bitch. “I’ll be back in exactly half an hour. When that time comes, I want my reward. Do I make myself clear?”

I was so close to her face that I could feel her hot breath on my cheek.

“Abundantly,” she snickered. She wouldn’t give up her poker face.

I whipped around on my heel and walked away, trying to come down from the anger and stroll to blow off the steam. I could control myself. Only a half an hour stood between me and my virgin girl.

As promised, I arrived back at the auction house a half an hour later to the exact intricate second. I banged on the door to where the virgins were held.

The booming sound of my fist on the door notified my presence to the Xicret women to come let me in. If they dared argue with me again, there might be unfortunate consequences and hell to pay.

The same sullen woman came to the door and this time, she granted me access. Without a word, she spun on her heel and beckoned me to follow her.

With a flick of her wrist and a point of her finger down a long hallway and my heart pounded with hopeful and excited anticipation.

As we got closer to the destination where my new virgin was, I heard a commotion and yelling. There was banging and clanking sounds coming from within the closed door. To my surprise, the woman halted directly in front of it.

She gave me a smug look as if it gave her immense satisfaction to watch the shock and un-rattled befuddlement unfold with my facial expressions.

“What’s all that racket? Is it coming from my prize girl?” I demanded an answer as I pointed to the door in disbelief.

“No refunds,” was her only flat, stale reply.

The woman opened the door and I couldn’t believe what I saw waiting for me on the other side. I stared in mesmerized horror.

The young human virgin was kicking, thrashing and barking as if she were a wild animal or a dog. I held my hands over my ears because her voice was incredibly shrill and high. This situation was utter madness.

I had spent a fortune on this girl, I couldn’t afford for this to not pan out. I wouldn’t be able to come back to another auction and I’d be the laughing stock of my family.

They had explained to me that after her sedative wore off she would be in excellent condition to bring back to Xicret once she had calmed down a bit, but clearly, she was on the brink of hysteria and nowhere close to being pacified.

“This is crazy,” I roared in an attempt to bellow over the screaming girl, but she had me matched and it was as if my roar came out as a whisper over her deafening screams.

I approached her in a hasty flash, towering over her with a booming voice. “Shut up! Quiet down at once!” I demanded of my blonde prize.

That seemed to do the trick. Her mouth clamped shut and her face went white as she assessed me. She drank me in with huge, wide and fearful blue eyes.

She had tears in her eyes and mascara running down her cheeks. She was a wreck, yes, but to me, she still looked beautiful even through the mess on her face.

“You must stop fighting the inevitable. I’m not here to hurt you.”

I tried to soften the blow and ease my presence. I knew this would be a lot for her t
o take in and adjust to and I was willing to give her a learning curve and the benefit of the doubt.

I did my best to conform to her emotions as I was sure it wasn’t easy for her. I wanted to sympathize, but I still had my limits.

“You speak English?” she squeaked out quizzically.

Our eyes met at her question, and she seemed astonished and maybe even a little impressed. There was definitely something that shifted in her expression. I wouldn’t exactly call it relief, but at least she was no longer screaming like a wailing siren.

I sighed with arrogant frustration. “Yes, I speak English. Let me guess. You just thought I was some dumb foreign species, right? Well I’m not, and I bid a lot of money to get you, so I would appreciate it if you try to make the best of the situation.”

She scowled at me, clearly appalled at how brazen I was being with her after just having met her.

I felt like I needed to try and redeem myself a touch or two. “I bid on you because I thought you were the prettiest. All the other guys wanted you too.” I tried to boost her confidence.

“I had a great life back home. I had people who loved me and cared for me. They are probably out searching day and night for me too.” She burst into tears.

I wasn’t sure what to do or how to react to her testament, so I just stood there awkwardly and waited for her to release the harshness from her system.

I looked at one of the Xicret nurses who had been standing in the room listening to our conversation. “Lurk much?” I snarled at her.

Clearly, she hadn’t been even a remote help in this situation.

The nurse put her head down with both a mixture of shame and pity, then quickly scattered from the room.

I tried again with the girl. I hoped that eventually she’d listen to reason, and I could come to some compromise with her.

“Can you please stop crying? Will you tell me your name at least?” I was frustrated, on the brink of whining at her.

She ignored me, sobbing violently as her body shook with her cries.

“You aliens are evil! Pure evil! Do you know I was going to have a great life with my wonderful boyfriend? He was going to propose to me. I was going to be a teacher! I worked so hard in college to get where I was, and I was going places until you ruined it!”

She stood up with a menacing expression on her face. Her eyes darkened with a menacing glare and her fists clinched at her sides.

I held my hands up, trying to let her know I meant her no harm. I was angry and hurt too, but unlike her, I clearly had better achievements at controlling my emotions.

“Everything will get better, that I can promise,” I tried to reassure her with words that came out sounding empty and flat. My excitement had depleted like a lead balloon.

“Oh, you can promise? Wow, well I didn’t realize that. Let me just pack my bags then. Oh right. I don’t have any bags because I’ve been a fucking prisoner in this fucking place for over a week now!”

She was being condescending and mocking as her voice spat out at me in a sarcastic tone. The veins in her neck bulged as she shouted at me.

My temper was rising, but I tried to keep a cool head. Deep, deliberate and even breathes were helping me get through this unwanted confrontation. She was a spitfire, that much was certain.

I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and did my best to see the world from her eyes. At the same time, her anger made her seem even sexier, smoking and smoldering.

I wanted to grab her and kiss her, but I knew I had to bide my time for that because she’d never receive and return my passion…not now at least.

“You just have to give it a chance. You’ll love Xicret. It’s beautiful there, even more so than here. We have big cities and oceans too. I’ll show you a good life. My father is the ruler of Xicret.”

I added this little slice of enthusiasm for a little flare, hoping that my being rich and royalty would earn me some brownie points. Apparently, even my high status on my planet wasn’t going to get me out of this situation because she looked cynically snide.

“I don’t want to give your stupid fucking planet a chance! I want to go home!”

She pounded her fist on the hospital bed and stomped her feet on the concrete. She was still wearing the sexy black dress.

Every time she moved her tits bounced gloriously and I couldn’t help but stare at them, however unsubtly that was. I was getting impatient, but I was willing to wait for her tantrum to stop.

“Well unfortunately for you, you have no choice. I bought you, and with that contract I’ve earned the rights from the sale.”

I was firm, abrasive and harsh, but she had to know the truth. There was no point in sugar coating it for her because we were in the thick of it now.

Her eyes wilted, and her voice was low and soft at her next statement. “I’m a person you know. Not an object.”

Her shoulders sagged. I knew what that meant. She was feeling the effects of harsh reality as it sank in.

I rolled my eyes. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that line from a girl I’d be even richer than I already was. This wasn’t my first rodeo.

I grabbed her file in the folder on the counter from the nurse. It had all of the girl’s documentation in it like where she was from, how old she was and other important information on her background.

If she wasn’t going to be forthcoming and willing to disclose information about herself, then I would just take it upon myself to gather those resources at my disposal.

“Well Lucy Rivers,” I glanced up at her with smug enthusiasm to see if she would be surprised I knew her name. “To me, you are a prize and I’ve won you. You have no choice but to come back with me to Xicret. And believe me when I say, it’s in your best interest to try and cooperate.”

I gave her a satisfied smile as if to close the case and move on. This wasn’t up for debate any longer.

The stupid, beautiful girl didn’t know when to quit. “What you are doing is wrong.” Her glare continued, pierced right through me.

It wasn’t my intention to make her uncomfortable. I wanted her to go with me willingly. I wasn’t going to hurt her and wanted to give her a pleasant life. She just had to get onboard.

I hadn’t expected to fall onto these nails of backlash. I thought we’d have already been well on our journey back to Xicret by now.

I closed the folder with a snap and crossed my legs as I leaned against the counter.

“Tell you what. I’ll give you a few minutes to regain composure of yourself. I’ll leave the room, and you can come to your senses. After that I’ll come back for you and we’ll go home.”

It was an ultimatum that I deemed fairer than any other man would give her if she hadn’t been lucky enough to get snagged up by me.

“My home is in Greenwich.” She gave me a cold, defiant look and sniffed.

I gave her a stiff smile. “It’s not your home anymore, sweetheart.”

I left the room and closed the door to let the truth of that statement sink in and settle into her bones.

  Chapter Six

  Lucy

I ripped the IV needle from my arm in hasty abrasiveness. Stinging pain throbbed and pulsed in the empty wound, not just in my vein, but in my head too.

A deep breath didn’t help me, so I closed my eyes. I counted to ten. I paced the floor, but my legs felt wobbly, feeble and numb.

Panic rose again from the center of my belly and spread throughout my body. I glanced around, darting my eyes back and forth to assess my surroundings.

There had to be some sort of vent or air duct I could climb into and try to sneak out of this fucking place. My survival instinct kicked into full swing and I was on a roll.

With sweaty palms I climbed on top of the hospital bed to try to open up the air vent as my heart raced and my ears prickled…listening intently for any movement outside of the room.

Damn. I wasn’t tall enough. My eyes searched the room for something long I could pry it open with.
By now my heartbeat was loud in my ears.

The tips of my fingers felt like frayed wires and my breaths were shallow with nervousness.

Cringing, my body prepared itself when I heard the door creak open. My muscles stiffened, my bones hardened. Every excruciatingly slow moment made my stomach churn as I waited to see who would emerge from the other side of the door.

My muscles shook with a fear I couldn’t control, and then became paralyzed. Oh fuck, I couldn’t move.

The man from before stared down at me. He was enormous, the biggest man I’d ever seen in my life. Fuck, he could have been a giant for all I knew. He loomed over me tall and proud, leering. I was sure he towered at least a foot over me.

He was so huge, brooding and I thought I could see a literal shadow cast across the room as he came back into it, towering over everything including myself.

He spoke with a booming bellow of a voice, “My name is Harkzak.” Sighing, he sat down in the chair next to me.

Not knowing what to do or say, I stared at the wall. Curiosity bubbled inside me. Why did he sit down next to me? He didn’t seem to want to attack me or anything.

“Anyway, I thought I should at least let you know what my name is. You already know from our last conversation, I’m royalty. I bid on you and won you. This shouldn’t come as any surprise to you, because you know how this all works. I’m really not the bad guy in all this. I want us to get to know each other.”

His cheeks rose in a sort of half smile.

The nerve of the guy made my insides burn. My ears felt hot with rage. I watched as he shrugged his shoulders.

Then, a thought occurred to me. I needed to play my cards right and get this guy on my side. My posture softened a little and I mentally went in to play the dramatic part. Maybe I could convince him to allow me to return to my family.

One could only hope. A girl could dream, essentially. I was a dreamer.
