The guards looked at one another and leapt into action, each preparing their weaponry. The shorter more muscular guard asked, “But who will guard the ship while we are away?”
“That’s the least of our concern. We are at war. I’ll secure the craft you just gather your troops and go save the palace!”
Rick watched from the shadows in amazement as all of the guards fled in mass, rushing back towards the palace, leaving the craft unattended for Yoshiri to secure. She then motioned him from the shadows and then stood in front of the spacecraft. “Old girlfriends of yours?”
“Something like that. Now get your ass onboard Captain Hernandez, we have an entire galaxy to explore and nothing but time.”
