“That Rochento is no good hanging around with! You’ll get into trouble mixing with the wrong sorts” said Maggie, noticing her and Rochento talking after university. Maggie sat upright and listened for Mary’s size four shoes dart across the wooden flooring. Mary opened her mouth and waited for some words to come out.

“It’s only because the university doesn’t have the facilities” replied Mary, knowing full well that the university offered adequate resources.

“Come on get to the point!” interrupted Majtak impatiently.

“That night went accordingly to Andrew’s strict time schedule as they all arrived seconds after each other. Mary stood nervously observing the rest of them setting up various pieces of apparatus. Rochento located a scrap book full of scribblings and diagrams and started to add liquids to beakers and mixing products together. Mary chirped up half way through an experiment asking if she could do it her way. She added steaming blue liquid that was too hot to even hold. There was a loud bang soon after and they all fell lazily to the floor. Mary woke up and looked through the thick smoke, all of the others were flat out on the concrete not moving at all. A blue hole appeared above the table they were working at. Mary placed her arm out to reach the object, when she was sucked into the ocean coloured object and never seen again.
