"Are you high? " I hissed.
He shrugged and laughed. "I have to look at the paper."
I rolled my eyes and hit my joint, coughing. I took another hit, and I managed to hold out before blowing it slowly.
"Satisfied? " I asked, feeling more relaxed and returning the joint to Elijah.
Elijah laughed again. "Immensely."
He got sober and bowed to me, a smile on his face. "Open your mouth,"he said, his voice quiet and suggestive.
I did it without question. Maybe because I was a little stoned and maybe because I would do anything Elijah asked me to do in that tone.
Elijah lifted the joint up to his lips and inhaled deeply, holding the smoke in his lungs. However, instead of blowing it into the room, he leaned toward me, his lips barely touching mine.
He exhaled gently in my mouth and I sucked in the smoke, got dizzy and started at the same time. He kissed me then, put his tongue in my mouth quickly before pulling back so that I could exhale.
Holy shit.
Elijah's eyes were still focused on mine - well, they were actually a little out of focus on mine - and we both jumped when Ethan knocked on the bathroom door.
"Are they in there? " called.
Elijah nodded to me, and I nodded, stepping away from the door.
Elijah opened it.
"What the fuck, Ethan? Did you need to break down the door? " complained.
"Didn't you hear me knock? " Ethan asked, stepping into the bathroom and smelling. "Shit. Are you getting high without me? " He smiled with a smile, dimples wrinkling his cheeks.
I shrugged my shoulders, trying to look indifferent and like a man.
"I had to get away from those bitches you brought home, Ethan,"Elijah growled.
"Yes," I said. "Those were some serious ho-skanks."
I heard Elijah suppress a giggle and fight the urge to kick him in the shin. You thought this shit was easy?
"Come on,"Ethan argued. "Terri is amazing. Sure, Carla and Janice are a little dirty, but the other girl is pretty cool."
Yeah. I thought to myself. Great when I wasn't bragging about her boobs with my man.
Whoa. My man?
Don't get ahead of yourself, Daisy. So you kissed a little. But this is E. C. Lynch, you're fantasizing. He does it with a lot of girls. Lots of girls.
I tried not to focus too much on that.
I heard more voices coming down the hall and in a second, Raul and Roland joined us in the bathroom.
"Are you smoking my shit? " asked Raul to Elijah accusatorily. "Friend! " He grabbed the joint and the lighter.
"Friend! " Elijah replied.
Raul took a long blow.
Ethan reached out his hand. "Friend"?
Raul turned his eyes. "Duuuuude! " grumbled, giving him the joint.
Roland hit Raul in the arm, obviously annoying. "Friend!"
Seriously, they did it all the time. It was like some sort of primitive secret code or something. Reminded me of the chimpanzees at the zoo. I usually stared at his one-word communication in amazement, but this time I could not resist speaking. I wondered if Dude-speak was something related to testosterone, or if anyone could learn it.
"Friend"? I asked quietly.
Four glances turned to me and for a moment I was worried that I had made a terrible mistake.
Could you say from my "friend" that I wasn't one of them? I saw Elijah biting his lip so as not to laugh, but he subtly avoided looking at him, staring at my shoulders and trying not to look scared?
They could smell the fear.
Finally, Ethan laughed. "Duuuuude! " hit me on the back and gave me the joint.
I took another hit and smiled.
E. C.
Daisy was really high, but once Ethan crashed in the bathroom and deflated my cock, I realized - on top of it or not - that we really needed to talk.
After the place disappeared, we went back to the pool, Daisy and I walking a bit behind the others. They laughed and didn't pay any attention to us. Daisy looked at her fingers and laughed.
"What's so funny? " I asked her.
She moved her fingers towards me. "They're shaking. " She wrinkled her nose.
I laughed. They were a little nervous. Fuck. I was pretty drunk myself.
"You're a little lousy, you know,"I muttered to her.
She became glassy, with half-mast eyes my way. "Suck on what"?
I laughed. "Men's stuff. Ho-skanks? Really?"
Daisy laughed, then with a sneaky look at the boys, she lowered her voice. "I cheated on you,"she said. "Until you... you know. "She blushed and I laughed."
"See, that's a problem, right there,"I pointed out. "You can't blush like that."
Daisy snorted, but she didn't say anything. I bowed to whisper in her ear, watching her to make sure we weren't noticed.
"I can help you, you know."
She looked at me surprised. "Would you do that?"
I nodded my head. "Yes. I think so,"I said to her, grabbing her arm before we entered the view through the glass door. "But first, you and I need to have a little chat."
She frowned slightly, then nodded, and we went out to join the rest of the group.
After about an hour or so, Ethan disappeared with Terri and the girls, taking them home in the limo. Raul and Roland went to bed and Daisy and I did a show of doing the same thing. Once the house was quiet, I snuck out of the hallway and knocked slightly on its door. She opened it quickly and shoved me in before she closed it behind me. She laughed, bowing to kiss me and I couldn't resist grabbing her hips and bringing her closer.
Her bandage was gone, and I could feel its softness through the thin T-shirt she was wearing in bed.
I almost forgot why she'd come to her room. Little Henry was making a convincing argument to postpone any in-depth discussion until tomorrow and just throw Daisy to bed.
I could be very convincing whenever I wanted.
Still, I fought him and gently lifted Daisy's arms around my neck. She still seemed a bit groggy and dreamy, and I wasn't sure if it was because of the grass or my kisses.
I liked to think the last thing.
She yelled at me and I laughed peacefully. "Speak, remember? " I reminded her, holding her hand and bringing her to bed, then thinking about it and going on to the sofa under her window.
"What do you want to talk about? " she asked innocently, throwing her legs under it as she sat beside me. I just lifted her forehead and she sighed heavily.
"Fine. Whatever. I'm a girl. So... yeah,"she muttered."
I laughed. "Yes. I noticed that part. I couldn't help but look at her naked legs with appreciation. "What I don't understand is why."
"Why was I born this way? " she joked.
"Daisy..."
"Okay... okay," she muttered. She went back to the couch and rubbed her hands on her face. I've been trying to get into the business for years,"she said. "Dozens of auditions and... nothing. I can sing. You know I can,"she defensively added. I nodded, but I didn't say anything.
"But no one would listen to me,"Daisy continued. "I didn't have the right look... or the right sound. You know how this is. "She glanced at me and I nodded again. I knew it wasn't always about talent. In fact, it rarely was.
"So when I found out about the auditions, I thought, what have I got to lose? " she said, shrugging her shoulders.
"It's that simple,"I said.
Daisy shrugged again.
"And how long did you think you could make it? " I asked.
She shrugged again.
I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. "Did you think this through?"
Daisy stared at me. "Of course I thought it over,"she said agitated. "I figured, what's the lifespan of a boy band... a couple of years? In that time, I would have enough to produce my own music.
After a while, no one would mind if Tim disappeared and his sister Daisy showed up. It would be like Michael and LaToya. Maybe they'd think I had a sex-change operation... the my
stic alone would sell records.
I blinked. Evidently she had thought about it. A lot.
"I'm not an idiot, Elijah,"she added with her eyes squinted. "I knew there was a risk. It was just one he was willing to take.
"So I guess the only question left is, are you going to turn me in? Or are you gonna help me? " She folded her arms across her chest and waited for my answer.
I considered it for a moment, putting my hands through my hair again. I looked at Daisy, who was looking at me closely, biting her lip.
Christ. Her lip. Little Henry had returned. And he was yelling at me not to ruin Daisy's life.
I thought I had a motive, but I didn't have it in me to argue with.
My shoulders fell off. There was only one option, actually.
"We'll have to be careful,"I said. "Very careful."
She nodded. "What about the other guys?"
I shook my head. "They can't know. If this whole thing blows up, I don't want to blame them for it.
She got up and stretched out. "Well, can we solve the rest tomorrow? I'm exhausted."
Her shirt went up, giving me a nice view of that spectacular ass. It was twice as spectacular now that I realized there wasn't a penis on the other side. I moved a little bit, trying to give Little Henry a little more space.
"Uh... yeah... sure," I muttered. I looked up to see Daisy smiling at me.
"What are you looking at, Elijah? " she mocked. Her eyes turned to my lap and she laughed.
I swallowed it. "Nothing."
"It was like nothing,"she said in a sensual voice, turning slowly and then climbing into my lap.
Little Henry was doing somersaults. Or push-ups... or something?
"It looked like you were staring at my ass,"she muttered, licking her lips and straddling each other. Her lips moved towards my ear. "Were you looking at my ass, Elijah?"
I couldn't talk. I just nodded. Little Henry nodded his head in eager agreement.
"Well, you're gonna have to control that,"she said brilliantly, standing up and walking into her dressing room. "I'm sure you'll rat us out if you can't take your eyes off my ass."
I was perplexed with her, and little Henry felt a bit... well... depressed?
She took a couple of sweats from a drawer and threw them away. "Do you want to go to the kitchen? " she asked. "I'm starving. " She turned around and started poking around in the drawers. "I gotta find a sweatshirt or something to hide the girls. I really don't want to put the blindfold back on,"she muttered to herself.
My eyes narrowed with irritation, and I stood up to approach her, adjusting myself a little. The little tease. Two could play in that game.
I stepped behind Daisy and leaned over her shoulder, breathing in her ear.
You don't want to hide them, do you? "I asked quietly, my arms spinning around to grab her breasts. It froze and I kneaded them slightly. I mean, it's just you and me. " Squeeze. "Maybe we could stay here. " Squeeze. "And like... later, I lowered my voice suggestively and pinched her nipples through her shirt."
Daisy moaned. "Elijah..."
"Hmmmmm...? " I kept playing with her tits, rolling my nipples between my fingers.
"That feels so..." She groaned?
"Do you like that? " I muttered.
"Oh... yes..." She groaned?
I backed away abruptly. "You better take care of that,"I said with a smile. She gasped and I grabbed a sweatshirt from the drawer in front of her. "I mean, we can't rehearse and have them all dreaming, thinking about me grabbing her boobs, can we? " I walked to the door, throwing the sweatshirt at her.
"Nachos"? I asked.
She blinked and for a second I thought she was going to throw something at me. Instead, she laughed.
"Nachos sound good,"she agreed.
Daisy
I couldn't believe how many nachos I ate.
And I couldn't believe I made fun of Elijah like that.
I blame marijuana. Well, the boat and maybe five or six... or eight... Jack and Coke before the boat?
Seriously, I had never smoked marijuana before and Ethan gave me the joint after the "friends"festival.
Before I knew it, my eyelids were too heavy, my clothes too warm and Elijah too sexy.
And everything... I mean, everything... was hysterical?
I vaguely remembered laughing at my fingers.
But Elijah... Elias was a clear reminder the next morning. The way he touched me... the way I climbed on his lap and got into his hardness?
Mmmm.......
Where was I? Where was I?
Oh yes. I wasn't like that.
They say getting drunk isn't an excuse... it can lower your inhibitions, but deep down you won't do anything you really didn't want to do, deep down...
If I was being completely honest with myself, I had to admit that was true.
Part of it was Elijah... hot, sexy, I've had it crushed with him ever since I heard him sing to Elijah.
But the other part was just me. I guess having to be a guy for so long left me feeling a little less than desirable. It was nice to have someone attracted to me... to see me as a woman.
So yeah, I bragged a little bit. And in Elijah's more than anxious response, my inner sexual goddess did a little adoration.
I felt good.
We made a big mess in the kitchen making gigantic nacho dishes and got into a quiet, but heated argument about whether the meat should go on the bottom or top. Elias turned very red when I said that I liked my meat in the background very much, and I just said "Fina" tightly and grabbed the grated cheese.
Who knew he was so picky about his nachos?
We sit at the counter, we eat them. I couldn't remember being so hungry. I caught Elijah looking at me funny.
"What? " I asked through a mouthful of fries and cheese.
In retrospect, it's probably not the most feminine thing I've ever done in my life.
I think being a guy was bothering me.
Elijah just licked his lips. "You got some cheese..." Did he point his finger at one side of his mouth?
I swallowed it and then pulled out my tongue to retrieve the wandering Cheddar.
Elijah made a strange sound and when I looked at him, I noticed that his eyes looked a little glassy.
Dude, maybe he was more stoned than I was.
"Are you all right?"
"I asked him, grabbing a napkin to wipe my mouth.
Elijah blinked and moved slightly toward the counter, placing his plate on his lap.
"Yeah... sure... okay,"he said, turning to his snack.
After the nachos filled our stomachs and the grass disappeared a little, Elijah accompanied me back to my room, kissing me gently and saying good night.
Part of me was a little disappointed. The other part thought it was sweet.
But with the morning came the hangover... and a little shame... and a lot of worry...
Elijah had said he would help me, and with the week to come, he knew he would need it. We had a press conference scheduled to launch the tour, but that wouldn't be a big deal. The biggest obstacle would be the People magazine interview.
Oh, and the live performance at today's show the day we opened at Madison Square Garden.
Yeah. I was worried sick.
I turned around in bed while someone was knocking on the door.
Well, maybe it was just a blow, but with the headache, I felt like a pound.
"What? " Gimmi.
The door cracked and a bronze head popped up.
"Good morning,"Elijah said with a smile.
I complained about something incoherent and pulled the blankets over my head.
I heard a chuckle and then the bed fell down after a moment. Elijah lifted the corner of my comforter and peered underneath, smiling.
God, it was beautiful.
"Don't you feel well? " he asked nicely.
"My head hurts,"I complained weakly. Elijah nodded his head and pulled a bottle of Tylenol out of his pocket. He went int
o my bathroom and came out with a glass of water.
"Here,"he said, sitting on the bed. "This will help."
I sat down and took the pills, swallowed them, and then took the rest of the water.
The water was so, so good. How come I never realized that before?
Elijah looked at me with a small smile on his face.
"What? " Grunt, squinting through bleeding eyes.
Elijah shrugged. "You look so pretty."
Oh yes. With my boyish hair and wrinkled cheeks and red eyes, I'm sure it was adorable.
"How come you don't have a hangover? " I complained.
He smiled with a smile. "It must be my Irish blood,"he bragged.
"No matter how much I drink, I never have a hangover. " It stretched and suddenly I needed a lot more water.
I stared at him. How dare you be so horny when I felt so bad? "That doesn't seem fair."
He bowed, his eyes staring at my lips. "Life is not fair,"he said quietly, though he seemed to say something else.
He got closer and I could feel his warm breath of peppermint on my face.
Then I panicked.
Because Elijah was going to kiss me, and I knew that my breath was anything but mint.
My hand flew over my mouth, inadvertently striking Elijah in the nose.
"Ow! " grabbed his nose. "Why did you do that?"
"I'm sorry! " I said through my hand, crawling on my knees on the bed. "I didn't mean to! Are you all right?"
Elijah twisted his nose with his fingers. "Yes. I'm fine. " He looked at me with a smile. "What are you doing?"
I squeezed my mouth. "Nothing,"I muttered between my fingers. "I just... need to brush my teeth"?
Elijah's eyes rested on my shirt and went down to my legs... slowly... and up again...
"I don't care about that,"he said quietly. He bent down again and squeezed his lips around my neck, nibbling slightly.
"Mmmm... you know so well,"he muttered.
I bowed my head slightly to the side because Elijah's lips felt so good. They lifted me up a little bit by the neck, and his tongue ran out to tickle the shell of my ear.
"Elijah..." I whimpered.?
He hummed me a little and bit me gently in the earlobe. My boxing shorts got wet and I wondered if I really knew what he was doing to me. He was not touching me, he was only leaning on his hands, our only contact with his wet and delicious kisses. His nose drew a line on my jaw, back and forth... getting closer and closer to my hand-covered mouth?
