A Wolf's Touch (Wolf Mountain Peak Book 3)

“Kiss it…” Julia whimpered, her chest heaving, as she bit her lower lip. Of course, Ray needed no encouragement. He had been meaning to do this all along. Tossing a crooked smile down at her, he closed his eyes, and started to kiss his way down her inner thigh, pressing his fingertips into her flesh. The scent he had been desperate to smell filled his nostrils, as his mouth moved closer and closer to her pussy. Her arousal, oozing out of her, beckoned him to taste it. The wolf within was licking his lips, eager to claim what was his yet again. Even though he couldn’t wait to worship her, Ray would take his time. Kissing the crook of her leg, he took his arms off of her body altogether. He trailed his tongue up and to the left, closing in on her pussy, as he put both of his hands on her inner thighs. But, just when it was about to make contact, he pulled it back in his mouth, and chose to close his lips around her entrance, letting out a long grunt of pleasure.
“Oh, baby, yeah…” She moaned, throwing her head back, as she squeezed her eyes shut. The taste of her juices sent his adrenaline into the ozone layer. It became even stronger as Ray sucked her labia into his mouth, forcing yet another, lustful groan from Julia. Tracing his fingers down her thigh, he brought them closer to her pussy, as his tongue swirled around her entrance. By now, Julia was squirming beneath him, crazed with need, panting heavily. Leaning up against her elbows, she reached her arm down, biting her lower lip, as he slid his tongue up her pussy. Her wetness and her loud, lust ridden moans had made his cock twitch in anticipation. Ray could feel the tightness in his balls growing, as thick drops of precum rolled down his stiff shaft. Using his index finger to tease circles around her entrance, he flicked his tongue across her clit, sending waves of ecstasy crashing through her.
“Yes: right there! Don’t stop!” Julia moaned, tilting her head all the way back, as she gripped a fistful of his hair. Ray could read the signs, and her move was a very clear sign indeed. He would not tease her anymore. Blazing heat surrounded his fingertip, as it pushed through the glistening folds of her womanhood. Her lush juices soaked his entire finger, as he trapped her clit between his teeth. Nipping at it, he savored the stiffness, feeling her inner muscles clinging to him, as she rocked against him. Julia pressed him down onto her, clutching his head, panting, as his passionate penetration steered her towards orgasm. Her loud moans resounded throughout the wilderness, as a tidal wave of lust swept over her body. She writhed beneath him, crying out, as the tremendous orgasm that shuddered through her had her entire body shaking with pleasure. Ray eased his finger out of her quivering pussy, planting a tender kiss on her right inner thigh, as Julia released his hair. The sight that greeted him fueled his desire. Heat had flushed her cheeks, more than ever before. Her hair was messy; a strand was falling into her face, and she was gasping for breath.
“Lie down for me,” Julia commanded, her voice a husky whisper, as their gazes met. Her wish had come as a surprise; Ray had not been anticipating it. Nevertheless, it piqued his curiosity. She turned over to the left and onto her chest, as he crawled towards her spot. He lay on his back, feeling the veins on his shaft bulging, as she swung her leg over him. Julia bent her head down towards him, licking her upper lip, as she reached around. The sensation of her fingers gripping his throbbing cock sent shivers down his spine, as she pressed her mouth against his. But, it was the feel of the soft flesh of her pussy on his cockhead that made his heart pound hard against his chest. Sizzling moisture enveloped him, as she lowered her ass onto him. The heat in her pussy felt more like lava, spreading down the length of his shaft, as it stretched her.
“Fuck me,” she whimpered in his mouth, reaching down to cup his face. “Fuck me hard.”
Ray curled his arms around her waist, holding her close, as she shoved her tongue into his mouth. Letting his hands roam down her body, he gently bit her lower lip, as she dug her long fingernails into his skin. Still, just when he was about to fill his hands with the juicy flesh of her ass cheeks, Julia leaned back, exposing her breasts. Ray didn’t complain. She could have control over the action. After all, the sight of her large globes was too appealing for him to object. Tipping her head back, she lifted her hands up to her head, and pushed them into her hair, as she took his entire length in her depths. Without wasting any time, Julia started to grind on his cock, her moans audible over his, as her beautiful, juicy breasts swayed back and forth. Unable to resist the temptation of touching them, Ray reached up, feeling her juices flowing freely down his manhood. A deeper moan fled her lips, as he cupped her breasts in both of his hands. Julia tipped her head down, opening her eyes, as he lightly pinched her nipples. She locked her gaze on the perfect line between his rock-hard pecs, as a wicked smile formed on her face.
“So hot…” she hissed, biting her lower lip. “So hard…”
“For you,” he grunted, pressing her breasts together. “All just for you.”
“Awww, Ray…” Julia whimpered, running her hands across his shoulders, as she bent towards him once again. Ray might have been dying to taste her lips, but now, he had other things in mind. His hands crept around her back, as he buried his face between her breasts. She bounced gently up and down his cock, stroking the sides of his neck, as he smoothed his hands over her ass cheeks. Nibbling on her nipple, he started to thrust into her, relishing the feel of her delectable flesh in his hands.
“Oh, my God!” she moaned, tossing her head back, as he splayed his fingers over her ass. Ray grabbed and held onto it, laying long, passionate kisses all over her breasts. As much as he enjoyed this however, he was dying for one more kiss. So, he let go of her butt cheek, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. A short, sexy laugh filled his ears, as he pulled her down. Their lips locked in a hot, passionate kiss, as he felt her swollen nipples on his chest. Running the tip of his tongue over the swell of her bottom lip, he filled her up with deep, hard thrusts. Ray kneaded her other butt cheek, his fingertips dangerously close to her ass crack, as she rolled her hips against his, trying to meet his furious pace. Julia’s world of ecstasy had engulfed him. She was the queen of this realm of sensation, touching him, kissing him, surrounding him with passion and lust, dominating his body and soul. Ray could feel his orgasm, building up within him, as his legs trembled. His balls were pulsing with need, as his cock throbbed in her, sending swirls of molten pleasure spiraling through her. Julia’s dripping wet pussy fluttered around his cock, her cry reverberating through the night, as wave after wave of her orgasm swept up her body, her belly trembling, and her legs shaking. Ray’s loud grunt ripped through the air, as his cock left the warmth and the wetness of her pussy. His legs tensed, just before his own juices exploded out of his cock. Julia kissed him on the chin, panting, as she snuggled up against him.
“It’s got to be a dream.” She whispered, rubbing her cheek against his chest. “I’m living in a fantasy.”
“You’re giving me too much credit,” he muttered, tangling his fingers in her hair. “All I did was bring you to my favorite place. It’s not that big of a deal.”
“You gave me the perfect date,” Julia retorted, leaning her head back to look down at him. “It is a big deal to me.”
Ray did not speak. He had no desire to come up with a rebuttal. For him, gazing up into her blissful eyes was everything precious. He wouldn’t waste his time or his breath over a pointless argument. Julia could believe anything she wanted, as long as the warmth and the kindness in her look remained. She could claim that the sun froze over, or that the moon turned all of a sudden into a blazing inferno, provided that she was in his life, in his arms, and stayed right where she belonged: in his heart.
Chapter Twenty One
The crack of dawn found Ray on his feet, smiling down at Julia’s peaceful image. She was lying on her back, sleeping, arms extended, as a few sunbeams landed on her left check. In truth however, the youngest of the Bradford brothers was smiling at the whole world. Why? In short, he had fallen for his mate. Julia, his “mess”, had restored his faith in love. She had sent all of hi
s fears away. From now on, no weakness would terrorize him.
Ray had not forgotten his Alpha’s words about the “special enemies” that he and Dean had so blatantly disregarded. He knew that, should he desire to mate with Julia, he would have to discuss her needs with her. Still, before he could even finish his thought about this conversation, her statement rushed back into his mind:
“Actually, I couldn’t care less about this stuff.”
No, Julia didn’t believe in any kind of commitment. She had made it clear, right from the start. Mating and marriage meant virtually nothing to her. Sadly for him, according to pack law, they had to exchange vows before the pack and their loved ones. Male and female were not mates in the eyes of Paxton residents, until they pledged themselves to one another. Nevertheless, for Ray, this was just a formality. He couldn’t care less about how fellow shifters would view his relationship with Julia. In his heart and mind, she was already his. He didn’t need a ceremony, or any words of loyalty from her. What he did need was her presence in his life, and he had it.
Looking down at his yard through his window, Ray straightened his t-shirt, readying himself for another day at work, when he noticed his Alpha, waving Ray towards him. That was rather odd. Raul had never been an early riser. More often than not, he was the last to enter their workshop. Intrigued, Ray turned around and strolled out of his bedroom. Something else troubled him, as he climbed down the stairs. His brother was pacing up and down the yard, with his hands on his waist. The Alpha’s patience had clearly abandoned him.
“Morning, Raul,” Ray said, stepping out of his cabin. “What are you doing up so early?”
“I’ve got bad news, kid,” Raul sighed, clenching his jaw, as his brother halted before him. “Our boys spotted four of Dominic’s scouts, wandering around the town border last night. There was a fight. We got one of them, but Bryant got killed. The sons of bitches tore his throat out.”
“Damn,” Ray groaned, tearing his gaze away from his brother. “What do we do now?”
“We have a pack meeting down at ‘Joe’s.’ Dean’s already there,” Raul stated, his voice weakening as he ran his hand through his hair. “They want blood. Frankly; so do I.”
“Me, too,” Ray said with a nod. “We need to retaliate, ASAP. Should we take my truck or yours?”
“We’re walking, Junior,” Raul replied emphatically, his eyes tightening in the corners. “I just got back from the diner. My ears are still buzzing from all the yelling. I could use some quiet.”
“Fine,” Ray agreed, trotting off towards the road to his right. “I’m assuming you have some kind of battle plan in mind.”
“That’s right,” Raul affirmed, striding alongside him. “It’s a little too bold. You won’t approve. In fact, I don’t think anybody is going to like it.”
“Why? What’s so bad about it?” Ray asked, as they turned right and onto the main road.
“For starters, it doesn’t involve Helena.” Raul explained, raising his tone. “According to Martin and Jimmy, we don’t have to deal with any wizards or witches; just tooth and muscle.”
“They have twice our own!” Ray squeaked, unable to prevent fear from creeping into his voice, as he cast a sideways glare up at his brother. “You won’t bring magic in this fight, because it’s not fair? For real?”
“I’m just saying we can handle this without her,” Raul maintained his composure, but he wouldn’t face Ray. “Martin and Jimmy said Dominic has two lieutenants. We take all three of them out. We even kill that bitch Victoria, if we have to. I’m curious to know what that pack will do without its leaders.”
“It’s a huge risk,” Ray spoke his thoughts out loud, his eyes narrowing, as his heart raced faster. “They’ll still outnumber us.”
“They’ll flee,” Raul assumed. “They’ll try to go back where they came from. I’m thinking about ambushing them, but that could backfire. They’ll be leaderless, but that doesn’t mean they won’t help each other.”
“You’re basing too much on a hunch, big brother,” Ray said, his voice riddled with disapproval. “Let’s say we do kill the Alpha; and his lieutenants. What happens if the pack decides to stand and fight? What are we going to do, if they try to avenge their own?”
“If you have any better suggestions, I’m all ears,” Raul grumbled, turning to his brother. “I know it’s risky, but it’s all I have right now.”
“What about them?” Ray wondered, casting a glance up at the houses around him. “Recruiting a few of them would solve our problem.”
“Training them would take time,” Raul sighed, dragging his gaze away from his brother’s face. “Time’s a luxury we don’t have.”
Understanding that this debate was not going anywhere, Ray preferred to keep his mouth shut. The diner lay just a few dozen yards away. In a matter of minutes, Raul would let them know of his plan. Acting upon it or rejecting it would be a joint decision, not just his own. Soon, his fellow pack members would express their opinion, and Ray hoped that they would make his brother see his mistake, or suggest another, safer plan.
Seconds afterwards, his ears picked up loud, male voices. Raul glanced at him first, and then quickened his pace. Raul had warned him about their unease, but this sounded much worse than just a plain argument among them. Indeed, Ray could hear glasses shattering, plates breaking, and tables, tumbling over the floor.
“Fucking mutts…” Raul snarled, as they turned around the corner. A mere glance up at the diner confirmed Ray’s suspicions. Chairs were flying across the dining area. Only two tables had been left standing. Jimmy was lying on his back, on the one closer to the façade, and Martin was on top of him, punching him with all of his might. Dean had grabbed him from behind, and was trying to yank him away from his comrade. The rest of the tables were scattered all over the floor. Some even had legs missing from them. Raul jumped over the steps, growling, as Ray followed behind him. The Alpha raised his leg and kicked the door open, instantly drawing his pack’s attention.
“Hey!” He roared in rage, his chest heaving, as the vein in the middle of his forehead throbbed. “What the fuck are you doing? One of us got killed last night, and you’ve turned on each other? This place looks like a goddamn war zone. Martin, get off of him!” He cried, settling his gaze on his scout.
“I’m sorry, boss,” Martin murmured, tearing his gaze away from his Alpha, as Dean jerked him back.
“Why don’t you shift and tear each other apart, you assholes?” Raul wondered, looking around him. “Go ahead. Save that prick the trouble of having to kill you.”
“Martin, Jimmy…” Ray interjected, passing by his brother. “I’ve seen Dominic, but I’ve never met his lieutenants. What can you tell me about them?”
“Their names are Tim Rockwell and Don Barry,” Martin declared, straightening his t-shirt, as he approached him. “Both of them are pretty tall, about as tall as Dominic. Tim’s blond, he’s a little older I think. His wolf is reddish. He’s got a patch of black on his left side. Don’s got black hair. His wolf is orange, with some gray and black markings. They’re loyal to him. They spend a lot of time with him, too. He never goes anywhere without them.”
“My plan is to take those three out,” Raul announced, his voice firm. “My brothers and I find them: we kill them; and hope that their pack will run off.”
“Oh, boss…” Martin sighed, hanging his head in disappointment, as he pursed his lips. “I like you a lot. You’re the gutsiest Alpha I’ve ever worked for. You want to fight a war, so that the rest of us don’t have to. I’m sorry. Your plan’s impossible.”
“Why?” Raul squinted at him.
“During the day, Dominic and his bitches wander off to the depths of the forest, along with Victoria. You can’t surprise them. They’ll see you coming. But, during the night, they sleep in tents in the middle of their encampment. You can’t possibly be hoping that you’ll pass by all those wolves undetected. Even if you do, eventually you’ll be surrounded.”
Ra
y’s heart sank upon hearing Martin’s response. A wave of despair washed over him, as Raul kicked a chair that lay before him. Silence lengthened, as each and every pack member stared at each other, unable to utter a word. The diner that had been bustling with life up until a few minutes ago was now as quiet as a church. Bleak hopelessness darkened the Alpha’s eyes. Never had Ray seen him as desperate as this; not even when they faced Marianne. If only he could come up with a plan. If only he could point out a way to keep their enemies out of their town. Alas, his mind had blanked out. Facing their doom seemed to only be a matter of time. But, just as Ray had abandoned all hope, a column of red smoke shot straight down from the ceiling, a few feet away from him. For the first time since he had known her, Helena had dared to show her face in broad daylight. Wrinkling her nose, she sniffed the air, as she swept the hall.
“This place reeks of testosterone,” she remarked, locking her gaze on Raul. “It looks like a tropical hurricane blew through it.”
“How nice it is for you to join us, Helena,” the Alpha spoke lazily. “You’re out during the day? You can smell hormones, too, now?”
“I have been studying Kate’s book. It’s all in there,” Helena replied, as she pulled her hood back from her head. “I know about your problem. My spies informed me of your comrade’s demise. That’s why I’m here. I think I may have a solution for it.”
