“People usually scream when their tongue gets shredded,” Iowen remarked.
“I am not a human,” Luna grinned and moved Iowen’s hands above her head, pinning them both down with her left hand. Iowen tried to struggle, but Luna’s body was as hard as steel. Iowen couldn’t move an inch. Luna smiled widely, her mouth and tongue already fully healed. She took out her right hand and turned one finger into a long claw. Luna went with it under Iowen and kissed her again. The kiss was stronger than the last one. She slid her mouth down on Iowens neck and sucked on it strongly. Iowen let out a loud moan. Luna used the claw to cut the strings at the back of Iowen's armor. When she got to the bottom, she went back for another kiss and tore the tunic of the armor off Iowen. Luna lay on down and started grinding her body on Iowen’s.
“Doesn’t it hurt?” Iowen managed to ask between the moans and kisses.
“That’s why I like it,” Luna whispered in her ear as she detached from Iowen’s neck and went on to kiss her again. Skillfully, Luna opened Iowen’s pants and started pushing them down. Iowen twitched and struggled, but Luna forced them off effortlessly. Luna went back and paid attention to Iowen’s neck, then she reached down under the mattress of the bed to pull out the thick velvet gloves. She slid one on her right hand and went on to check Iowen’s crotch.
“Did you piss yourself in fear or would you like me to continue?” Luna asked poisonously.
“Can’t you tell?” Iowen smiled. Luna went back for another kiss while using her right hand to play where it counts. She went down to suck on Iowen’s neck once more while speeding up with her hand. Iowen was moaning loud and strong.
“Ask for it!” Luna ordered.
“Never,” Iowen smiled.
Luna went on to kiss her again and slid one finger in. Not fully, just to the entrance. She started making circles with the finger, making sure it stays at the entrance and doesn’t get further.
“Are you sure?” Luna asked sweetly.
“Always,” Iowen smiled. Luna moved to lay sideways, she kept her left-hand pinning Iowen’s hands above her head, her legs holding down Iowen’s and her right hand resting with palm on Iowen’s clit with a finger playing around just at the entrance of her honey pot.
“So, you do sweat,” Luna sneered half an hour later. Iowen’s body was covered by light crystalline sweat, she was breathing heavily, had eyes angry and was making one frustrated moan after another. Her crotch had turned into a waterfall of ice around Luna’s finger.
“We can have some nice sex or we can keep going like this for the rest of the night!” Luna purred, “you just need to ask for it!”
“Your hand will freeze off long before I give in,” Iowen challenged.
“Will it?” Luna asked. She gave it half an hour more. She enjoyed watching the frustration in Iowen grow.
“You know… one day James made a hole in the ice, stripped me naked, chained my hands around me and tossed me down the hole into the frozen lake,” Luna said softly.
“Sounds like fun.”
“I spent six days in the water before I found a way to break my own arms to free them up so I can grab myself by the ice and get back up. Six fucking days when I had to keep myself swimming up at the hole in the ice so I could breathe,” Luna continued her story, “and you think my hand will get frozen or tired or whatever from playing with your snatch? Maybe a week from now I will need to change hands for an hour.”
Iowen’s eyes widened.
“Alright, how about you go in with the fingers?” Iowen proposed.
“You skipped the magic word,” Luna purred.
“Please stick them in,” Iowen breathed.
“I don’t believe you.”
“Fuck me already, goddammit!”
“Maybe later,” Luna refused.
“RRRGGHHH!” Iowen growled and tried to throw Luna off. She didn’t make her move an inch.
“I liked that sound,” Luna breathed.
“Oh, come on!” Iowen demanded. Her frustration was becoming unbearable.
“That sounded impatient. I think you can handle a few hours more…” Luna rejected.
“HOURS? ARE YOU INSANE?” Iowen screamed.
“Well, I can do this all day and your moans are so lovely I just can’t help myself,” Luna smiled.
“UGGGHHH… let me go you fucking bitch!” Iowen demanded. Luna said nothing, just kept going for another half an hour. She ignored everything Iowen said. Instead, she rammed two fingers in. Iowen roared in relief as she did.
“That’s how I like you,” Luna snickered and then went on to kiss her while working her fingers in and out swiftly.
She stopped only when Iowen couldn’t handle it anymore.
“You are quite the beast in the bed when you try,” Iowen purred softly.
“Sorry… I just needed to vent things of,” Luna apologized weakly.
“Sorry? This was magnificent!” Iowen wrapped herself tightly around Luna.
“Did you really like it?”
“I had four big ones tonight, normally I am happy with one or two per week,” Iowen admitted.
Luna went on to kiss her, the passion spilling over between the two of them.
“So, what happened?” Iowen asked.
“I was useless… again,” Luna whispered. Iowen just held her strongly.
“I couldn’t do a thing. The Reavers handled the strategic part perfectly and Raven saved the day by almost killing himself. I just… wanted to do more… instead, I got stuck in a fight with two big demons and the match was over by the time I finished them off.”
“Sounds like you killed two big demons, that’s quite a lot,” Iowen tried to comfort her.
“It was pointless. I should have realized they are a decoy and just pass them, or at least I should have been faster from the start and get to one of the chest keys faster than the opponents since the match was about finding keys to open a chest in the first place. Or I just should have been with Raven because I would have been fine after the fall,” Luna explained, “I just… should… wish I could have helped him.”
“The fall? Wasn’t the match in the mines?” Iowen was surprised.
“Raven somehow had a big demon crush the floor under them, so they fell right on the finish line of the whole match,” Luna remarked.
“That sounds like dumb luck,” Iowen cut back.
“Normally, yeah, with Raven? No. He doesn’t get lucky, he knows what to do, where to go, where to stand. Nothing Raven does is random. This wasn’t either. He survived the hundred feet fall, cut his way out of the demon’s body and then butchered the enemy team. He pretty much won the match by himself.”
“That sounds weird,” Iowen evaluated.
“It’s not... it’s amazing. It’s like something has a purpose for him and just guides him forward to it. I just… see that I don’t and I envy him. Envy him, want to help him, want to be a part of it… but I can’t. I am just a stupid, ever-hungry human-eating monster.”
“Would you want to eat me?”
“No, you are the first woman who I don’t want to eat.”
Actually, second. It didn’t want to eat Yen either.
SHIT! I completely forgot about Yen. SHIT!
“Am I that disgusting?” Iowen probed.
“No, of course not! You are one lovely ice cream, but you aren’t a human. The monster knows it and isn’t interested. That makes me very, very interested,” Luna smiled and went to kiss Iowen once more.
“You really know how to give me mixed feelings,” Iowen mused.
“Sorry, I did not mean to… by the way, this sun shaped amulet you got in the pocket. What is it?” Luna inquired.
“Symbol of Alnil, the God of Life. I don’t know why I have it… I just felt like I should have taken it. Why?” Iowen replied.
“I don’t know… it’s like… the monster inside feels reverence to it. It’s like it…represents something where it belongs, some place where it wants to be… or someone it wants to meet,”
Luna revealed.
“I guess you should go check it out. They have a small temple in the city, northeastern part.”
“I will. Thank you,” Luna kissed Iowen and got up to get dressed.
“Wait… you think you will bitch off and leave me here to clean up this bloody mess?” Iowen demanded.
The bloody mess was a fitting description as Luna’s blood was all over the upper half of the bed while ice covered the bottom half.
“Your muff made a mess, you clean it up,” Luna laughed.
“My love cave is well disciplined; it's just that someone teased it for hours!” Iowen challenged.
“I guess it’s the owner who needs more discipline,” Luna chuckled as she finished dressing up, “have fun,” she smirked and left, ignoring Iowen’s angry shouting.

Lucas
That was close.
Lucas almost bumped into Luna as he was looking for Iowen. Luckily Luna seemed to be too preoccupied to notice him hiding in the shadows. He passed to the room where Iowen stayed and peaked in. Iowen was mostly naked and furiously doing push-ups with her legs up in the air.
Not a bad view... too bad I don’t have time to enjoy this a bit.
“Hey. Putting on some muscle?” Lucas asked softly as he entered.
“Maps are on the table; the mines are cleared of slaves and staff. They swarm with soldiers though,” Iowen answered but didn’t stop.
Meh, bad news right off the bat.
“What happened? I mean, you never were the one to exercise,” Lucas probed as he went to check the maps. They were perfect, whoever drew these deserved a medal.
“SHE OUTPOWERED ME! THE FUCKING BITCH JUST PINNED ME TO BED LIKE NOTHING!”
“The bed looks like you liked it,” Lucas remarked.
“SHUT UP!” Iowen cut him off.
“Wanna go fetch a drink?” Lucas tossed up after packing the maps.
“Oh really? NOW you want to hang out… where were you the day after the burning in Grimdawn? Where were you when I actually needed you?” Iowen asked without stopping with the push-ups.
“I am sorry… I was too busy with work,” Lucas apologized.
“Were you? And what were you doing? Because Miranda did come to see me and had no idea where you were or what you were doing,” Iowen added poisonously.
“I had to check something urgently,” Lucas conceded.
“And you just couldn’t send someone, could you… from all the tens of thousands of Palai soldiers, you couldn’t find a single person to send and instead had to go yourself. What were you checking so important the day after a big victory,” Iowen pressed on.
“I needed to find something,” Lucas attempted to evade.
“STOP LYING TO ME YOUR FUCKING BASTARD AND TELL ME THE FUCKING TRUTH!” Iowen shouted.
“I was looking for my spear, lost it somewhere in the cavern,” Lucas admitted.
“Your spear? YOUR FUCKING SPEAR? YOU WENT TO SEARCH FOR YOUR POINTY STICK INSTEAD OF HELPING ME?”
Lucas bit back the reply, knowing it wouldn’t make things better.
“And what after? I couldn’t sleep for over two days. TWO. FUCKING. DAYS.”
“It took a while.”
“A while? Are you telling me you spent two full days searching for your spear through ashes without finding a minute to come visit me? ONE FUCKING MINUTE TO CHECK THAT I’M ALRIGHT?”
Saying that he read a report that said she would live and was happy with that didn’t sound like a smart answer so Lucas said nothing again.
“YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! It’s not that you don’t care, it’s that with me you are happy to read a shitty report, but for your spear, you go rummage through burn corpses for two days. Come to think of it, you did always take extremely good care of it… you like it more than me, don’t you?”
“No, of course not,” Lucas protested.
“DON’T LIE TO ME! WHAT IS WITH YOU AND THAT SPEAR?”
“It’s been with me for a while,” Lucas admitted.
“With you? WITH YOU?! DO YOU CARE MORE ABOUT THE SPEAR THAN ME?”
Lucas said nothing.
“ANSWER ME!”
“OF COURSE, I DO! YOU ARE A SLAVE I PICKED UP FROM THE MINES BARELY A YEAR AGO, MY SPEAR HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR OVER A FUCKING CENTURY AND I AM NOT GIVING IT UP!”
“Get out… get out of my fucking room! GET OUT!”
Lucas whirled on his foot and left, slamming the door behind him.
“Problems in paradise?” Miranda sneered as Lucas got back the provisory camp they had outside of the city.
“Shut up!” Lucas cut back, not in the mood.
“Aaaaahhhh…. I sense love is in the air,” Miranda laughed, “how is Iowen doing? Was she happy to see you again?”
“Not letting it go, are you?” Lucas tried to turn it around.
“No, not now, not ever. What did Iowen find out? The spear? Me? Balrigh? The others? Or did the contraceptive elixir she took not work and she is pregnant?”
“Nothing,” Lucas refused.
“It’s the spear isn’t it? Poor Iowen was lying in bed plagued by nightmares that made her unable to sleep and you, you who got her into it, who was supposed to comfort her and help her, you were swimming through burned bodies looking for your beloved spear.”
Lucas said nothing and just kept walking.
“AHAHAHAHA! SPOT ON!” Miranda roared in laughter, “tell me, Lucas, if that spear could make a pussy you could fuck, you would make small spearlings with it, wouldn’t you?”
Lucas tried to ignore her.
“Bad news?” Merewen asked as they met her in front of the commanders tent.
“Is everyone here?” Lucas asked.
“Yes… we ain’t got much else to do,” Merewen confirmed.
“Good news first, Lucas pissed off the ice hole so he won’t be getting that anymore,” Miranda tossed up before they went in.
“Less fucking, more working. Good news indeed,” Merewen smiled.
“You two…”
“Are lovely, we know,” Miranda interrupted Lucas.
“What’s the plan?” Elias asked as they entered the room.
“The slavers have the army entrenched in both the sewers and the mines. We have no easy points of entry or any good way to sneak in. We are fighting this out. Two-third of the army take the mines, rest the sewers. Merewen leads one force, Elias the other, split it out yourselves. Miranda, pick up a bunch of the Shadowless and sneak into the city, hunt down every slaver officer you can get your hands on, active or not. There is one exception, Edward Collward, do not engage if you run into him. I am going to fake a surprise attack in the lower city to distract them a bit and head to check out Collward afterward. Everyone expects maximum resistance, they know we are coming,” Lucas summed the plan up.
“Want the mines?” Elias asked Merewen.
“You will be better in the large caverns, I’m taking the sewers,” Merewen refused.
“What’s with the Collward exception? Is that another old fuck buddy of yours?” Miranda struck at Lucas.
“No, but he is needed to run the tournament and the slavers. He is also potentially extremely dangerous,” Lucas revealed.
“Almost sounds like you are worried I might get hurt,” Miranda remarked.
“Not really,” Lucas refused. Nobody believed him.
“That’s a surprisingly bad lie… are you getting old?” Miranda pushed.
“Anyway. Collward might be a demonic prince, with an army around him, he will not be defeated by anything short of an army.”
“Will his daughter be a similar threat?” Merewen asked coldly.
“I don’t know. I told him to send her to the Faye. I believe Collward made his daughter independent from the Red God as he could, the Faye will teach her the rest. Then it’s up to her, with free will she will choose her path and whether it crosses ours or not,” Lucas replied.
“What makes you think he made her free?” Elias asked.
“What every demon would want is a son. It is only after they realize that women are naturally much more resistant to the corruption of the Red God that one would make a daughter. Plus, I feel she deserves a chance, a shot at life,” Lucas stated.
“Can’t you just decide whether you are evil and ruthless or kind and understanding? It’s really confusing when you are all of it,” Miranda sighed in annoyance.
“I am sorry, Miranda, that’s just how I am,” Lucas conceded.
“Showtime is tonight or we give it a day?” Elias returned the topic to business.
“I would go tonight, they are unto us anyway so we might as well give them less time to prepare,” Merewen offered.
“I agree. Last thing, rules of engagement are allied city restricted, most of the population are our followers, so we do not harm or threaten them in any way,” Lucas confirmed.
“Let’s set tonight ablaze,” Miranda concluded the meeting.

Zerae
“You are ready to take this as your responsibility, is that correct, Astril?” Zerae shot at her oldest friend as they sat on the ledge before the mouth of the mountain. Inside, Elizabeth was sleeping while holding her baby tiger.
“Oh, come on, Zerae, you know I always do,” Astril mused.
“Really? Like the time we were hunting the slaver’s convoy and we missed it because you got bored by standing on your post and just left?”
“That wasn’t my fault! How was I supposed to know they would be pass while I wasn’t there?” Astril protested.
“You just went to hunt down some monster because you got bored,” Zerae interrupted Astril, “or how about the time when you raided that temple of Veneas to get the large emerald they were guarding and then lost it on the way back because you put it in the wrong saddlebag?”
“It wasn’t as pretty outside as it was inside of that temple. Plus, we haven’t lost anyone, so it’s not like it was a problem,” Astril challenged.
