Legacy of Dreams: Freedom

“Thank you,” Luna breathed.
“Are Iowen and Miranda alright?”
“Iowen is in the next room. She broke her back from shooting her bow too much. She will be fine soon,” the older man answered.
“General! Urgent report!” a soldier burst into the room.
“I am sorry, I need to go,” Merewen apologized and rose up. Luna felt like a little kid when she saw how massive Merewen was.
“How is Miranda?” Luna turned to the old man.
“She will live. She is recovering in her chambers,” the old man replied. Luna looked around. There were dozens of other beds in this room, each had a more or less wounded soldier on it, “did we succeed?”
“It seems so. The city guard has arrested the slaver lord and we have killed the creatures to the last, freed the prisoners from the cells and we have lost zero men. Although there are still hundreds of wounded though, so we might still lose someone,” the old man evaluated.
Luna tried to move her hands and found out she can. She went on to examine her body and found out her stomach seems to be in place.
“How did you heal me so fast?” she asked in surprise.
“I am experienced,” the old man smiled.
“Wait… these robes. Who are you?” she asked suspiciously as she realized how gloriously decorated the robes of the old man are.
“I am archbishop Nashimaeal,” the man smiled.
“I am sorry I didn’t recognize you… it’s just; I would expect you to have better things to do than healing soldiers in an infirmary.” Luna smiled weakly.
“I don’t know about any other place where I can save this many lives at this moment,” the man smiled, “alright, your spine should be complete, please try to move your legs.”
Luna tried to move and it worked fine. It hurt like hell, but it worked.
“Thank you,” she breathed.
“It’s alright. We all have our part to play, I am merely doing mine” he smiled as he rose up, “I apologize, but I need to see to others now. You should be fine soon. May the sun shine upon your path,” Nashimaeal blessed her and left.
Luna got up and went to her things. The armor was in serious needs of repairs, but otherwise, everything was there. She went on to dress up and went to see Iowen. Iowen was in the other room, lying in bed.
“Hey,” she greeted Iowen softly.
“You are walking? Already?” Iowen smiled, “I am so happy to see you are alright,” she added with a sigh of relief.
“I am tough,” Luna grinned.
“Yea, you are,” Iowen confirmed.
“Will you be alright?” Luna asked.
“Yes. The archbishop himself came around and fixed the key parts of my back. I can function fully, but it still hurts like hell, so I am waiting to get better,” Iowen explained.
“Sounds good. I am going to handle something. I just wanted to thank you and tell you that I will see you sometime later. Please tell Raven I will catch up with them if I am not there to leave for Redwall in two days,” Luna announced.
“I thank you. You are the one who carried me out of there in the first place,” Iowen returned.
“Take care,” Luna said before leaving.
“You too.”
“Sneaking into my room through the window? Do you have a deathwish?” Miranda shot up as Luna entered her room.
“You guards wouldn’t let me in,” Luna explained.
“Why are you here?”
“To help you recover,” Luna announced as she walked to her. Miranda lay in a bed with featherbeds and pillows fashioned to look like clouds while the top of the bed was painted to look like an azure blue sky. Miranda’s body was wrapped in bandages, the only visible parts were the left eye, right hand and some hair.
“I don’t need your help,” Miranda refused.
“I will give it anyway,” Luna didn’t let her refuse.
“Knock yourself out. I will be lying in bed for the next couple of days, how do you plan to help me with that?”
“I will keep you warm,” Luna announced as she started undressing.
“You are kidding, right?”
“No. ”
“I will call the guards if you don’t stop,” Miranda threatened her.
“I will knock them out and do it anyway,” Luna rejected.
“They will get you eventually.”
“Not before you recover. Look, Miranda, I feel so bad about what happened to you because of me that I just can’t ignore it. I will stay here and do what I can until you are fine. If you want to have me eaten alive by dogs once you do, I don’t care and won’t defend myself. But not until you have recovered… please,” Luna stated firmly.
“Why do you insist on it so much?” Miranda pried.
“Nobody had ever done something like that for me... you did it while knowing me for less than a day. Because of it, you almost got killed, lost a lot of blood and will get backlash from hell due to overuse of magic. Both of these things make your body cold to the point where you feel like you are freezing to death. You hide in your room because you know nothing can really help it and you don’t want to show weakness before anyone, especially not your men and I understand that, I truly do. But I have been through this hundreds of times, I know what it’s like and I know better than anyone how much I had always wanted someone warm to hold me when I go through it. You don’t deserve to suffer alone. You shouldn’t suffer alone… it’s just not right,” Luna explained.
“You have no idea what I had done in my life,” Miranda breathed.
“I don’t care. I know what you did today and that’s more than enough for me,” Luna stated as she finished undressing.
“You look like shit,” Miranda evaluated.
“I get that a lot,” Luna retorted and went on to snuck into the bed next to Miranda. She lied down on her and held her tight. Miranda’s body was cold, very cold.
“Why the hell are you wearing a chastity belt?” Miranda asked as she went by Luna’s body with her hand.
“I can’t take it off.”
“Stay still for a bit,” Miranda commanded as she closed her eyes. Minutes later a metallic crack sounded and the belt fell apart. Miranda caught the pieces and threw them off the bed.
“You get more amazing by the minute. How did you do that?” she inquired, amazed.
“I have experience with these… I know how to bypass the security, so to speak,” Miranda smirked.
“Thank you,” Luna whispered.
“If you try anything funny, I will blast the black flame into your face. It will kill you, trust me,” Miranda threatened.
Luna said nothing and just held tight on Miranda.
Slowly, Miranda wrapped her arms and legs around Luna to get as much of the heat as she could. They soon both fell asleep.

Luna
“BREAKFAST!” A voice shouted from the door.
“I REFUSE!” Miranda shouted back.
“I am to stand here and keep shouting until you let me put it next to your bed. General’s orders,” the soldier refuted.
“I order you to leave!” Miranda commanded angrily.
“With all due respect madam, I answer to general Methot. Not you.”
“Hide,” Miranda ordered Luna. Luna dug herself into the bed to her side, so she was not visible unless the feather beds were to be removed.
“Come in!” Miranda shouted.
The soldier came in with a large table filled with food.
“That’s enough to feed ten men,” Miranda observed.
“General’s orders,” the soldier replied with an impassive face.
“With what comment did the general give that order?” Miranda pried.
“She remarked that the recipient is quote ‘more picky than a princess’, end of quote, so we should put some of everything.”
“Thank you. Dismissed,” Miranda commanded. The man bowed and left. Miranda tried to get up once the door closed. Luna held her down wit
h her hand and moved on top of her.
“What do you think you are doing?” Miranda pierced Luna with a stare.
“Your lips are blue and your body is almost as cold as Iowen’s. You are not getting from the bed unless that changes,” Luna evaluated.
“Shall I call the guards?” Miranda sneered.
“Shall I go to general Methot and explain her the situation?” Luna returned.
“Why would that change anything?” Miranda whispered threateningly.
“She had a princess level breakfast delivered straight to your bed and felt very guilty about shooting a hole into me yesterday,” Luna purred.
“Are you threatening me?”
“No, of course not. I am merely stating the facts,” Luna smiled poisonously.
“What do you want?” Miranda jabbed.
“What would you like for breakfast?” Luna pried.
Miranda made a loud sigh.
“Meat,” she conceded.
“With the freshly reattached jaw tendons?” Luna contested.
Miranda pierced her with a stare.
“As you wish,” Luna smiled. She went on to the table and found that half of the load is meat. Luna picked the best-looking beef sirloin she found. She took it up on the plate and cut it into tiny pieces.
“Are you cutting up my food?” Miranda shot poisonously. Luna ignored her and finished cutting it. She put one piece of a pork and aimed it at Miranda’s mouth.
“Open wide,” she whispered sweetly. Miranda tried to raise her hand to stop her, but Luna held her down easily.
“If you ever tell anyone about this, I will throw you into an active volcano,” Miranda breathed.
“Do what you want with me after you recover.”
Miranda sighed and let Luna feed her the piece of meat. She bit into it and had to clench her hand to not shout in pain. Luna was right, the freshly reattached jaw bone tendons hurt like hell. Miranda held it down and chewed up the piece of meat. Her whole body was shaking from the pain by the time she swallowed it. She looked at Luna, but Luna was focused on the plate she held in her hand. With the other hand, she was using a spoon to press against it. She picked up a smaller spoon and scooped paste from the plate and put it in front of Miranda’s mouth.
“I am not eating that,” Miranda sneered.
“There are two ways you are getting the next piece of meat. You either eat this paste or I take the meat in my mouth, chew it up and feed it to you mouth to mouth,” Luna announced in a dead serious voice.
Miranda glared at Luna with full murderous intent. Luna didn’t budge. After a while, Miranda opened her mouth and allowed Luna feed her with the spoon.
“I need wine,” Miranda evaluated after being fed for a while. Luna went on to look for it and found multiple bottles at the table. She took out one then went on searching the table.
“What are you looking for?” Miranda asked.
“Something to use to get the wine into your mouth.”
“I can drink by myself.”
“The jaw tendons stretch when you hold liquid in your mouth. The pain will make you shake and you will spill the wine from the corners of your mouth. You will just mess up the bed. Trust me; I have been there more than a few times,” Luna revealed.
“Is there any wound you haven’t had?” Miranda asked, visibly annoyed.
“Hmm… I am not sure. I had my heart ripped out and eaten in front of me. I had my brain splashed out of my skull a few times. I am pretty sure I broke every bone in my body at least twice. I was stabbed in the pussy with a heated iron, had my tongue cut off and eyes plucked out a few times too. I had a limb torn off multiple times…”
“How the hell did you manage?” Miranda breathed.
“I got a monster inside. When things turn south, I let it in and it rips everything around me to shreds. It eats the shreds afterward and uses them to remake the broken parts of my body. The only way I can die is someone killing the monster once it fully comes into me,” Luna explained.
“No, I meant how the hell did you manage to go through all of that at your age?” Miranda corrected herself.
“I have had an active life. Plus, I am not that young,” Luna smiled.
“Nice try kid. Your tits have barely started filling up, you are no more than sixteen years old,” Miranda smirked.
“I can’t be that young!” Luna protested.
“You don’t know how old you are, do you? How long ago did you start having the monthly bleeding?” Miranda shot back.
“How would you know I have that?” Luna exclaimed in surprise.
“Every fertile woman has that. When did it start?”
“About two years ago,” Luna admitted. She felt a bit embarrassed, but on the other hand, she was very happy she isn’t weird by having it.
“That makes you fourteen to sixteen years old,” Miranda announced.
“Maybe I work differently,” Luna contested.
“You don’t. You are a regular girl with a spirit latched onto your soul. You work like any other schoolgirl,” Miranda snickered.
“You aren’t that much older!” Luna protested.
“How old do you think I am?”
“I have never seen a girl with better skin than yours. Your face is cute and pretty too, so I thought you would be about my age,” Luna evaluated.
“AHAHAHAHAA ARRGH, FUCK, URRGGGH” Miranda didn’t manage to complete the laugh, “why does it hurt so much to laugh dammit?”
“Your rib cage was shattered. That hurts for about a week after it fully regenerates,” Luna smirked.
“I need to get high. What’s with the wine?” Miranda sneered. Luna took out the bottle, opened it.
“No complaints,” she told Miranda. Luna filled her mouth with wine and positioned herself in front of Miranda’s face. Miranda stared at her for a second before she slowly opened her mouth. Luna latched onto it and slowly poured the wine from her mouth into Miranda’s, letting her drink it by small amounts at a time.
“Tell me when you have enough,” Luna whispered and went to fill her mouth again. They finished the bottle before Miranda said anything.
“More meat,” she commanded.
“Suuuure,” Luna answered and went to feed Miranda the rest of the meat paste.
“Did you seriously get drunk just from the wine you absorbed through your cheeks?”
“A liiittle,” Luna chuckled.
“When I am corrupting children, I might as well do it fully. Under the bed there are three boxes, take out the one to the right,” Miranda ordered Luna after she was done eating. Luna went down and pulled out a large box. She opened it.
“Eeehhh…” Luna made an awkward sound as she went through it.
“What is it?”
“I didn’t think you would be into this so soon,” Luna breathed awkwardly.
“What’s in the box?” Miranda asked.
“Ropes, cuffs, whips, harnesses, clamps… dildos. What’s with all these shapes and sizes?” Luna breathed.
“PUT. IT. BACK.”
Luna hastily packed the box back and slid it back into its place under the bed.
“Can you seriously not tell left from right?”
“It’s at my right hand, so it’s the right one!” Luna contested.
“You tell sides by your hands? Seriously?” Miranda exclaimed.
“How else am I supposed to do it?”
“By north facing blueprint of the room. How else?” Miranda shouted back.
“Why would I do it like that? How do you even do it in the first place?” Luna shouted.
“So, the left and right don’t change when you turn around! Just imagine the room layout and spin the north edge to the top, it’s not so hard god dammit!”
“That’s the most complicated way to tell left and right I have ever heard!” Luna tried to defend herself.
“Whatever! Just pull the correct one this time,” Miranda commanded her. Luna did. It was full of small pouches with colored marks next
to them. There was a pipe at the side of the box.
“Take the pipe and one of the green marked pouch, stuff the contents in carefully. It’s expensive as hell, so don’t waste any of it!” Miranda ordered her.
“Are those drugs?”
“What else? A fair warning first. I am not saying you will ever go through my stuff without my permission, I will skin you alive if you do, but if it ever so happens the black and white pouches have stuff so strong it will shatter your mind beyond repair. The pink one will make you tear off a leg of the table and fuck yourself with it, the red one will make you go berserk for about a week, the purple one will make you hallucinate for at least a month and the blue ones will kick you all the way to Dream World and I don’t think you know how to come back from there,” cold crept up Luna’s spine as she knew Miranda isn’t kidding. Very, very carefully she picked the pipe and stuffed some of the contents of the green marked pouch into it.
“Which tunnel did we come out of yesterday?” Luna asked weakly.
“The middle one. We were prepared for you girls to fuck it up and go through the right one, but really didn’t think you would go through the middle one.”
“Now I really feel like shit about it” Luna exhaled.
“Don’t. We are used to things getting complicated.”
“Still… we fucked up. Now Merewen is crushed by guilt and you are so demolished you can’t even drink by yourself properly. It’s all my fault,” Luna admitted sadly.
“That doesn’t matter at all,” Miranda smiled, “mission was a success, we are all alive. That’s what matters.”
“Why did you do it? Why did you jump into the middle of all the monsters and fought without a thought for retreat or self-preservation? Why did you do it for me?”
“I do not leave my people behind,” Miranda replied.
“Thank you,” Luna whispered.
“Shut up and light the pipe.”
“Let me up; I need to pee,” Miranda remarked as they were lying in bed.
“Where is the toilet?” Luna asked.
“It’s the second door from the left,” Miranda revealed.
“What the hell are you doing? DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE!” Miranda started shouting as Luna got up and put her arms under her. Miranda tried to evade but couldn’t really move, so Luna lifted her up into her arms easily. Then she went on to carry her to the toilet.
